The majority of porn made today is catered more to the male demographic. Of course, everyone already knows this because men consume around 99% of all porn. Ellen Page, however, would like that to change. She wants more porn for women made by women. Woo hoo, girl power and all that.
At a recent panel she explained,”To only have porn from the male perspective is damaging. Women are sexual creatures, as much as men, and that needs to be embraced.”
Her point is admirable but it’s just not going to happen. Porn for women is terrible. 30 minutes of foreplay with a couple shots of penetration and grinding all accompanied by Enya singing in the background. Instead of a guy obscenely grunting while finishing on the girl’s face, the girl would just roll over and they’d spoon until the scene fades to black. It’s like watching Skinemax but way more awkward when your friends walk in on you. I think it was Benjamin Franklin who said, “A person’s worth is judged by the quality of porn they watch.”
Ellen also talked about the lack of roles for women in the entertainment industry.”Considering there are so few roles for women and the roles that do exist can be so narrow in their idea of what a woman can be, it is extremely important to me to be involved with projects where the girl is in charge of her own destiny and is honest and well-written.”
Well, yea, but that’s true for any minority. Just replace “women” with “black, latino, asian” and you’d have the same argument.

Baldwin took to his Twitter account to say, ?Someone wrote that my wife was tweeting at a funeral. Hey. That?s not true. But I?m gonna tweet at your funeral.?

John Krasinski and Emily Blunt?s three-year wedding anniversary is coming up in July. Can you believe they?ve been together that long? They had a quick courtship and engagement, and it seemed like everything fell into place for them. They?re also one of the most popular married couples in Hollywood ? they have a wide spectrum of friends, and it feels like they?re always vacationing and hanging out with different big celebrity friends. I do wonder if John and Emily really discussed their family plans before they even got married, you know? Because it seems like they?ve never been on the same page about that one issue. Well, now the inevitable tabloid stories have begun:
John Krasinski won?t be on diaper duty anytime soon ? because his wife, Emily Blunt, refuses to get pregnant! While Emily, 30, and John, 33, seem to be the picture of Hollywood bliss, sources say they?re at odds over starting a family.
?John is desperate for a child,? a source tells Star. ?But Emily is afraid. Her mom had a very difficult pregnancy and she?s convinced she?ll have the same.?
But all hope is not lost: friends say they might adopt next year.

Adoption would be great. If she?s freaked out about pregnancy but she?s open to the idea of motherhood in general, it seems like adoption is the best solution. I also wonder if Emily and John have struggled with fertility issues. Not that it?s any of my business, of course, and not that she has to discuss any of this publicly. Though in interviews, Emily never made it sound like they were really trying to have a baby or anything. So maybe she?s simply freaked out about pregnancy, which I personally can understand. Adoption it is. I hope it happens for them.

I didn?t realize that Katherine Heigl was on Instagram, but she is. And she posts lots of photos of her daughters too. Katherine and her family were at their home in Utah (they live in Utah part-time, apparently) a week ago and Katherine posted this photos from the trip home.
We haven?t really seen much of their youngest daughter, Adalaide. Katherine and Josh Kelley adopted Adalaide from New Orleans last year, and the little girl is about 14 months old. Their daughter Naleigh is 4 years old right now (she turns 5 later this year I think). Naleigh is such a pretty little thing, isn?t she? Adalaide is cute too, and she seems to have a wise, inquisitive face.
Us Weekly quotes Katherine as saying last year that she wants to add more kids to her family: “I definitely want more kids! I think we decided on three, but I’m pushing for four!” I bet she does adopt again. She has an adopted sister who she adores, and I just think Katherine is a big supporter of adoption in general.
I should also note that Katherine is still getting work, although her career has taken a hit in the past few years. She could have been the next Julia Roberts. But now she?s the next Jessica Alba.

Here are some photos of Miley Cyrus continuing her New York City tour of fuzzy diapers. These outfits are of course “controversial” and “outrageous,” which is how Miley (and Larry Rudolph) planned it. Miley wants us to talk about her, and this is only to promote her “We Can’t Stop” single. Just think of how overbearing her “punk/rap” image will be once she drops her full album, for which there is no title or release date on the horizon. Hmm.
This new story from Star is sure to raise more than a few eyebrows. By now and since Miley has told us that she’s always high, it’s obvious that she has a fondness for marijuana (and probably Molly too). But would Miley actually do any hard drugs, or is she just a laid-back lover of the softer, feel-good stuff? Well, if this story is true, then Miley could be headed down the cocaine highway. Star has spoken to two eyewitnesses who have not only seen Miley snorting some white powder, but they say Miley was doing so at the Met gala. Oh, hell. Also and if you were were wondering how Miley coexisted at the same event with January Jones also in attendance, this story fills in that gap as well:
Apparently, marijuana isn’t [Miley Cyrus'] only vice. Guests at the ultra exclusive Met Ball, a star-studded fashion event in new York City on May 6, say they saw Miley snorting somethng suspicious in the ladies’ room, in full view of partygoers!
I went into the bathroom and saw four girls trying to squeeze into a shall. They door was open, so people could see. They were screaming and laughing and being so loud,” one gala attendee tells Star. “Miley put her finger over one nostril, bent down over the back of the toilet, and snorted a white powder off it. I watched her do it.”
“Miley was chain-smoking and getting grazy in the bathroom with the girls for at least 20 minutes,” another eyewitness reports. “The door to her stall was wide open, and Miley was bent over the back of the toilet. I had a clear view because I was standing there waiting to go into a stall,” the eyewitness continues. “It was so weird — she almost looked like she didn’t care that people saw her!”
The singer and her friends were eventually kicked out of the ladies’ room, says the first witness, who adds that she later saw the foursome wandering around the event “acting drunk, drugged and loud.” When they found Miley’s apparent love rival, January Jones — who was photographed leaving a party with Liam in February, after the pair had reportedly been “all over each other” inside — they stopped near her. “They were being really catty, laughing loudly, giving January the stink eye and whispering about her,” the spy notes.

Snorting a line … off a toilet. See, this is the overriding reason that I’ve never been tempted to do drugs (beyond trying to smoke pot a few times in high school and not enjoying it at all) — they are so dirty. For starters, one never has any idea exactly how the drugs were transported to their eventual destination (like say, up some guy’s bum), and then there’s the simple matter that people do really gross things while consuming said drugs. Like snorting them off any surface.
On the bright side, I guess now we know the likely inspiration behind the “trying to get a line in the bathroom” portion of “We Can’t Stop.” I don’t know if this story is true, but if it is, Miley Cyrus is making it very difficult for me to continue to root for her.
As a side note, Miley may very well have called Billy Ray out on Twitter for his affair with a co-star, but Tish has been flashing her wedding ring around town. Strange family is strange.

Jada Pinkett Smith has been posting a lot of stuff to her Facebook page, some of it cryptic and some quite revealing. The last time we covered her Facebook musings she was trying to clarify her non-denial that she and Will had an “open marriage.” She only made it worse in my opinion, and went on about the nature of love and freedom. She’s since made several posts to Facebook, in most of which she waxes philosophical about relationships. The folks at the Wendy Williams show brought Jada’s post from last week to our attention, in which she answers the hypothetical question “Should I stay with a mate after she or he has cheated on me?”:
Should I stay with a mate after she or he has cheated on me?
(This is not referring to habitual cheaters. That is a different matter.)
This is a very personal choice, and there is no right or wrong answer. If your partner is remorseful and is willing to work it out, I would suggest trying to look at it from this vantage point. My observation has been that when most people cheat, they are trying to solve a problem. They are usually in some kind of emotional trouble or confusion that they believed the cheating would relieve. What’s interesting is that most of the time the cheating has nothing to do with YOU. Now the question becomes, are you willing to put all ego aside and reach for some deep compassion to try to figure out what the trouble is, and, as partners, try to solve it? Know this, if someone has cheated on you who truly loves you, they have hurt themselves as much as they have hurt you. This makes for a great opportunity to deepen the relationship with thorough honesty, which creates deeper respect with some serious setting of boundaries. This is also when love gets real and true and illuminates what you are made of as a couple and as individuals. Situations like these could be the windows to a deeper commitment OR… to two separate paths on the way to look for new partners. Only the unique nature of your specific relationship can be the telling factor. Is he or she worth it?

Jada answers other questions on Facebook, most notably “What do I do with heartbreak” and “Is true love real?” She’s letting us know that something serious is going on in her relationship with Will, and that they’re working it out. Jada has said many times that she’s going to stick by Will, that he’s her partner and that she won’t leave him, and that divorce is not an option. It sounds like she’s really struggling with that decision. Plus, Will and son Jaden’s big summer blockbuster, After Earth, totally tanked at the box office. Things are probably not that harmonious in her household and I would bet that Will is really struggling with that. Scientology is likely to be making things much harder and more complicated for Jada and Will than if they tried to conquer this with traditional therapy or on their own. They’re probably very deep in that cult, judging from all the nonsense Will has been spouting lately.
In lighter news Jada got a new haircut. She posted this photo on Facebook along with the message “Loving my new hair cut.” I think she got the extensions taken out and kept most of the length for this angled bob. I really like it!

So, Ryan and Eva have been together for two years, which is a lot longer than I thought it would last. I also didn?t expect them to spend the last year together, with so little drama. There have been no pregnancy announcement, no engagement announcements, no elopements, no major fights (that were made public), no drama for the haters to cling to. It?s almost like they?re a solid couple in a serious relationship, and like they?re taking their time. WTH? Well, the tabloids keep trying to make something happen, so this week Star Mag says that Eva gave Ryan an engagement ?ultimatum? but that he was already planning on proposing anyway.
Ryan Gosling may be busy directing How to Catch a Monster, but his girlfriend Eva Mendes is busy playing How To Catch a Husband! Since giving Ryan, 32, an ultimatum shortly after her 39th birthday in March, Eva could finally get her wish.
?Eva told Ryan that she wants to be engaged by the time she?s 40,? dishes a close pal. ?But Ryan was already planning a proposal. He?s been in secret talks with ring designer Neil Lane.?
And while Eva was making commitment demands, Ryan planned a romantic getaway for the two once their film wraps.

Completely clueless? unless she reads Star! Completely clueless? unless she was the one to leak this story. Whether or not any part of this story is true, I have no idea. But what I?d like to talk about is the ?plan? or the ?ultimatum?. I really am curious ? does this kind of ultimatum work on men? Because I think that for most women, this kind of ultimatum would backfire. It would only work on a man if he already adored you and wanted to marry you and just needed that final ?push?. And even then, I don?t think those men would appreciate an engagement ultimatum.

Bey recently posted some older photos of her Sasha Fierce (and pre-Sasha) days too ? go here to see. You?ll have to pardon me, but I find these ?personal? photos so much more interesting. For one, Blue Ivy Carter has a legit CROWN.
Sigh? do you know how much I wanted a crown when I was little? I would have settled for a tiara, of course. I grew up in an era when those little plastic tiaras were not handed out like candy to little girls, like they are today. And as I realize more and more, my mother might have had a secret, anti-princess feminist agenda because she really did discourage me from ever going full-tilt princess when I was little. I wanted to be a princess for Halloween, but no, I was Tweety Bird (for like three years in a row!). I did end up getting my fake tiara when I was in college, though. Yes, I was that girl. I wore my plastic tiara as I did tequila shots. Because I?m a lady.
Anyway, these photos are cute. I have no doubt that Blue Ivy is spoiled and that her mom and dad treat her like a queen. I think it?s fine for now, but we?ll see what happens in the future. By the way, my favorite pic was Beyonce?s foot in Blue Ivy?s Tom Ford baby-heel. That?s a really great photo!

Showing off her svelte figure, Rosie Huntington Whiteley ran a few errands while out and about in Beverly Hills, CA on Thursday (June 27).
The British supermodel looked perfect for summer in a flowing floral print dress and combat boots as she made a stop at a friend's house before heading on her way.
In other news, as previously reported by GossipCenter, RHW is gracing the upcoming issue of Glamour magazine's music issue along with fellow Brit's One Direction.
Taking to her Instagram page to show off the shiny front page, Rosie wrote, "Here's an early preview of @glamourmag August Music issue with the lovely @onedirection and myself!! These lads are amazing! They deserve all there success. Thank you for having me on the cover. #sweethearts #talent #dreamboys."

She?s been busy promoting her new film ?The Heat? with Melissa McCarthy, and last night (June 26) Sandra Bullock showed up at ?The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.?
During the course of the conversation, Leno asked the ?Speed? starlet how she feels about the strong words used throughout the forthcoming flick.
Jay began, "Tell me about the language in the film?is this the real Sandy Bullock?" Bullock fired back, "Yes, the truck driver mouth is the way.?
"It's great?we have a 190 F-bombs, most of them being Melissa's, so I am chaste in that world. And then at the end I sort of learn how to?when you drop them you're just cooler, I'm cooler when I drop them."
Leno wondered, "Now, do you chat like that in real life?? ?Not in front of children" replied Sandra. Then Jay asked, "Any children here tonight?" and set Bullock up for a slam dunk- "You know it just makes me f--king cool when I drop them!"
