All you can do is get to the other side. It's a struggle. When you do, there is happiness there. It's important to me to keep private some of that process with how I got here. Always happy to put her perky physique on display, Victoria Justice was all smiles at the Fun Fearless Awards hosted by Cosmo for Latinas last night (October 13).
The ?Eye Candy? cutie worked her magic in a short and sleeveless dress complete with a plunging neckline and plenty of punky accents, teamed with silver strappy heels and a matching clutch.
Victoria told the November 2015 issue of Health magazine that although she always looks amazing, she has been privately fighting against Hashimoto?s Syndrome, a thyroid autoimmune disease. ?A few years ago, I was diagnosed with Hashimoto?s, which is a thyroid autoimmune disorder. This Korean acupuncturist put me on a super-strict diet, where I was a pescatarian?. I also couldn?t eat any sugar, wheat or dairy?. They had put me on this thyroid medication, and I think the levels were too high for me because it caused my skin to break out?. All my life I've always had great skin, so it was really devastating.?

| Heidi Klum is Radiant on Redbook November 2015 Cover | Added 9 years ago | Source: Celebrity Gossip |

Always up to something glamorous, Heidi Klum is featured on the front page of the November 2015 issue of Redbook magazine.
Sporting a Michael Kors Collection ensemble teamed with Georg Jensen earrings and rings by Rio Tinto, the German goddess also sports offerings from Christian Louboutin, Demy Lee and Sarah Flint throughout her photo spread.
And in her interview, Heidi declares that ladies are just better at balancing life than guys- ?Women are capable of juggling a lot of balls ? we do things that guys just cannot do. Men typically can juggle only one ball, and even then they?re like, ?I?m confused. Should I put it in my right or left hand?? A lot of them have a very hard time just trying to figure out what to do with that one ball. And often they want us to hold that one too!?

| Alice Eve on feminism: 'It can be dangerous when it becomes anti-male' | Added 9 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Here are some photos of Alice Eve at a promotional event in London earlier this week. She looks very English country lady here, right? Except for the red lipstick. Anyway, I haven?t really paid much attention to her since earlier this year, when she came out and made some really offensive and transphobic comments about then-Bruce Jenner. It was right after Jenner had done the big Diane Sawyer interview (and before Jenner came out as Caitlyn) and Alice decided to make a ?feminist? critique about Jenner ?playing at being a woman? and how Jenner will never understand what it?s like to be a ?real woman? because something something wage inequality. The point that I made ? and I will still make any day of the week ? is that these issues are not either/or. You can be a passionate advocate for wage equality AND support transgender rights AND support Black Lives Matter, and on and on. Anyway, Alice Eve has said more words about wage equality and feminism.
While Oscar-winner Whoopi Goldberg insists the term ‘actress’ is limiting for women, Star Trek heroine Alice Eve disagrees.
‘It’s not sexist to use the term ‘actress’ for a woman,’ Alice tells me. ‘I’m a woman and I’m an actress and I’m proud of both.’
Eve, 33, supports Dame Helen Mirren and Emma Thompson’s fight for equality in the movie world, but she is concerned that men don’t end up suffering from the feminist crusade.
‘I’m passionate about gender equality in the film industry,’ says Eve, who was talking at the Embassy Gardens by Eco World-Ballymore art launch. ‘I think when anyone is asked if they’re a feminist, it’s natural that any woman is in defence of her sex. It can be dangerous when it becomes anti-male. I am not massively in support of attacking men, because I think we’ve moved so much into a place where we objectify them as well. For me, the struggle is really the pay gap ? that’s a reality that women in every profession are subjected to and that’s not OK.’
[From The Daily Mail]
Let?s call this The New Meryl Streep Feminism, where your feminism is so tenuous that you can barely self-identify as a feminist, lest anyone think you hate men. This new brand of feminism is all about publicly declaring that you are not ?anti-male? or in favor of ?attacking men,? because it?s 2015 and apparently we need to still say those things out loud. And apparently the feminist misandry has gotten so bad that poor, disenfranchised men are being objectified the same way as women! Won?t anyone think about the poor men?

| Emilia Clarke is Esquire's 2015 Sexiest Woman Alive: good or bad call' | Added 9 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

The Mother of Dragons is Esquire?s Sexiest Woman Alive for 2015. Breaker of Chains! Actually, it?s just little Emilia Clarke without the blonde wig and without her dragon babies. I absolutely HATE the cover. Esquire did a perfectly lovely photoshoot with Emilia where she looks kittenish and sexy, so I have no idea why they Photoshopped the crap out of one of the bed photos and threw it down at the bottom of the cover. It?s so weird. As for the profile? eh. The Esquire writer and Emilia did a ?fun day? playing ?Game of Phones? in London, but there?s no big reveal or anything. There are barely any quotes at all ? you can read the full piece here. Some highlights:
How she takes her tea: “How do you take it? In my family we always argue about the order of pouring. I’m a milk-first kind of girl.”
Her parents: “They didn’t want me to go to boarding school. I wanted to. My brother was already going [he's two years older], and I fancied his friends.”
Her dad tried to prepare her: “He was crew, not cast; there’s a big divide? He wanted me to be very realistic about the whole thing, about how nobody makes any money. The only line you’ll ever need to learn, he told me, is Do you want fries with that?”
How she got cast in GoT: “And then my agent calls me up and says, ‘Did you ever go up for Game of Thrones?’ ” The original pilot for the show had already been shot but nobody was happy with it, so HBO was digging back into the casting pile to try and save it. This is where Emilia came in. “My agent told the casting director, ‘I know that the breakdown for this character is tall and willowy and blonde. I know she’s short and round and brown, but I’d like you to see her.’ I had two scenes which told me nothing and not very much time in which to read all those [George R. R. Martin] books. So I did what every good actor does and Wikipedia’d the living crap out of it. Yeah ? [they wanted] someone who could grow before your eyes in one season, who could gather strength and show vulnerability, they wanted the arc?”
[From Esquire]
I always wonder about the money with the Game of Thrones actors though. I mean, the cast is so big and HBO is spending so much on sets, locations, costumes and all of that. It?s a HUGE production. I just don?t believe any of the actors are really getting paid that much. Maybe Peter Dinklage is scoring the big paychecks, but Emilia? Doubtful. But she?ll be able to make money with everything beyond GoT, so it all works out. Anyway? I don?t hate the choice of Emilia for Sexiest Woman Alive. It?s fine. She?s lovely.
