Here are some photos of Anne Hathaway, Jason Sudeikis and Anne?s husband Adam Shulman at the LA premiere of Colossal. First, let?s get the superficial stuff out of the way: I love everything about Anne?s look here. For years, Anne has been wearing her hair shorter, and I didn?t realize until just now how much I missed her long, curly/wavy hair. She has great hair! It?s so bouncy! So, her hair looks amazing. I also love her Vivienne Westwood jumpsuit. It?s a great look for a more low-key premiere. She also just looks glowing and fabulous in general – great pale skin, sincere smile, etc. Maybe she?s happy because her husband grew some scruff and now he looks a bit more manly.
As for the not-so-superficial stuff, I?ve been reading so much about this movie this week. The plot is strange, but everyone who sees the movie says it?s really good. It?s about a drunk party girl (played by Anne) who flees New York and goes back to her hometown to dry out and get her life together. She reconnects with an ex, she continues drinking and when she drinks and plays in one particular sandbox, she has a giant avatar who sets about destroying South Korea. Reportedly, the film is about toxic masculinity, alcoholism, getting your life together and a lot of other stuff. Sudeikis and Hathaway did a great joint interview with NY Magazine – you can read it here. Jason comes across as a little bit ?what about men?s rights?!? but he backs down and sort of acknowledges his dude-privilege.
To promote the film, Anne also chatted with Rich Juzwiak at Jezebel, and this piece has sort of gone viral – you can read it here. Juzwiak talks about the internet?s history of covering Anne and the cottage industry of Professional Bloggers Hating On Hathaway. Anne talks about how ever since her Oscar campaign for Les Miserables – the birth of Hathahate for many people – she is always asked about ?how does it feel to be so unliked?? There?s no real takeaway quote from this piece, but she comes across really well and? dare I say, more likeable.

People are always complaining about how Jennifer Aniston never really changes up her style, so these photos are evidence that? maybe she does change it up SLIGHTLY sometimes. Granted, she?s still wearing a little black dress, and her hair is down and she still loves strappy heels. But I do feel like she?s changed it up a bit. These are photos from last night?s Hollywood premiere event for the The Leftovers Season 3, the final season of the HBO show. Everyone involved with the show is ready to move on, and if you?re a fan of the show? my only hope for you is that I hope you feel satisfied with the conclusion of the series, because writer Damon Lindelof is notorious for sh-tting the bed.
Anyway, Justin Theroux is probably looking forward to the end of the series too – it?s prestige television, obviously, but I?m not sure that The Leftovers was really the career stepping-stone he thought it would be. But his wife came out to support him and all is well. Jennifer?s dress here in Brandon Maxwell and? I?ll say it, doesn?t it seem like something that Angelina Jolie would wear? It?s black leather!! Ha. No, Jolie doesn?t OWN ?black leather dresses,? but I?m still a little bit surprised to see Jennifer attempting a darker look like this. Am I crazy or is Jennifer?s hair a few shades darker too? Is it just the lighting or is she less sunny-blonde? And her makeup is crazy-dark too. It almost looks like her cheeks are bruised, she?s wearing such heavy rouge.
PS? I love the pockets on this Maxwell dress.

Of all of the women currently on top of the country music charts, it seems Miranda Lambert?s been really living a country song – and not one of the happy ones. She went through a tough, emotional divorce from her husband of four years, Blake Shelton, in 2015. The 33-year-old singer strikes me as someone who definitely wears her heart on her sleeve, getting emotional and crying on stage during a performance back in August of last year. So, then, it?s probably no surprise that she turns to the bottle at times for a little ?self-medication.? She DID have a recent hit song called ?Vice? you know.
Miranda recently told Sounds Like Nashville that her assistant keeps a little ?medicine? around for her, stating ?My assistant packs ? I call it my nanny bag ? she packs a bag of liquor for emergencies, for meltdowns and things like that.? One very recent ?emergency? came up on Thursday, when Miranda?s flight to Las Vegas for the ACM Awards ceremony was cancelled, forcing Miranda and her crew to rent a van and road trip it to Sin City. Miranda handled it like a champ, telling SoN, ?I?m like okay, we?re good, I?m golden. We just need a cooler of ice and we?re going. It was fun.? She posted a pic of her makeshift bar on Instagram with a caption that read, in part, “Y’all…. @ACMawards 75 or bust! Storms diverted our plane to Laughlin Nevada. So… Rent a car set up the bar!! Vegas here we come.?

It?s that time of year? the time when a new Fast & Furious movie is coming out and we?re about to be gifted with another promotional tour. How many times have we done this? This is the eighth movie, right? Right. The eighth movie is called? The Fate of the Furious. But don?t be fooled into thinking that this will absolutely answer all of your Fast & Furious questions. It will not, because I?m pretty sure Furious 9 and Furious 10 will be shot soon enough. Still, The Fate of the Furious is special, because they brought some very special ladies into the franchise. Dame Helen Mirren took a small part, because she?s a huge fan of the franchise. And Charlize Theron is playing ?the villain? this time, I think.
So these are photos of Charlize and Vin Diesel at the Berlin premiere of Fate/Furious. Charlize is the reason why I?m looking forward to this promotional tour. Usually, the photos are mostly useless because there isn?t any interesting fashion. But Charlize will deliver? good or bad, she?ll deliver. And I kind of think this Dior look is bad? She?s the face of J?Adore (the fragrance) and she usually gets some interesting Dior looks. This is one awkward dress though. The problem is absolutely the cut and the fit in the bust. Yikes.
