As an ambassador for Avon, Witherspoon is there to present the Breaking Silence award, which is given to an organization that puts out a message encouraging members of its community to speak out against violence toward women.
In other news, during a recent ?This Means War? press junket, Witherspoon was asked if she ever juggled two relationships at once like her character in the movie does.

The Victoria's Secret model wore brown leather pants and a striped shirt as she and her one-year-old son readied for their day's travels.

The busy mom recently blogged about how exhausting it can be to decorate a home, writing, "A little over 12 months ago my husband and I finally finished building our dream house. However, we still have no furniture. A tradesman even came to the house a few months ago and asked if we had moved in yet?!? After two years of paint colours, handles, tiles, carpets, curtains and pretty much every other decision you could image, we were exhausted. Now that we have recovered from the difficult experience that was building our dream house, we are really excited about furnishing it and turning our dream house into our home. Telling Us Weekly that Natalie and Benjamin are, indeed, married, jeweler Jaime Wolf said, "I designed the rings worn by Benjamin Millepied and Natalie Portman. They were made with recycled platinum and conflict free diamonds."
With no further details available at the current time, the marriage news comes as Natalie and Benjamin are proud parents of an eight-moth-old son named Aleph.

I cannot even begin to emphasize the wave of sympathy and nausea that I feel for Jessica Simpson in these photos. These are from the weekend – I just never got around to covering them with all of the Oscar stuff. I mean, obviously, we can talk about how HUGE she is, but she?d been carrying really big for months now. Jessica was never going to be a small pregnant girl – she was always going to be all boobs, all belly, all ass. I feel for her, and I admire that she still trying to wear cute clothes and cute shoes, because if I was this pregnant, I would just be hanging out in bed in a giant nightgown, crying.
Anyway, CB has been covering most of the Jessica news lately just because imagining what it would be like to be THIS pregnant kind of makes me sick to my stomach. I?m that girl – the one whose gag reflex is triggered at the mere mention of an epidural. CB has previously talked about the tabloid stories involving Jessica allegedly dropping out of her Lamaze class, and her alleged fights with Eric Johnson about scheduling a C-section. In a newish interview, Jessica doesn?t talk about all of that, but she does talk about feeling like a ?big blob.? She’s due in late March/early April, by most accounts.
When Jessica Simpson tunes in for the premiere of NBC’s Fashion Star March 13, her body won’t look anything like it does now.
“I wasn’t pregnant when we shot it. It will be amazing to see myself with a waistline,” the 31-year-old said during a conference call Thursday. “I’ll be like a big blob sitting on the couch watching myself thin.”
Simpson will mentor 14 contestants alongside fellow fashion designers Nicole Richie, 30, and John Varvatos; supermodel Elle Macpherson, 47, will host.
“Teaming up with this show was a perfect fit,” Simpson said. “I couldn’t turn it down because I felt like it was great for my collection, but it was also important for me to talk to these up-and-coming designers and mentor them and kind of show them the ropes and really try to lead them in the right direction.”
Now that she’s expecting her first child with fiance Eric Johnson, Simpson said she’s thinking of creating a maternity line for the Jessica Simpson Collection.
“The point of launching a maternity line, for me, is to do something different,” Simpson explained. “I’m not buying any maternity clothes. I’m wearing all clothes that come in bigger sizes. I really want to make a maternity line that’s comfortable, but really stylish for people, because I believe that we all deserve to feel good and look good.”

If Jessica and Beyonce put out competing maternity lines, which one will have cuter clothes? I?d say Jessica – for two reasons. One, Jessica knows what it?s like to be pregnant (whereas I?m still doubtful about Bey?d pillowy bump). Two, while Jessica doesn?t always clothe herself properly, I believe her general style is rather cute, and that it would translate well into a maternity line. Not so much for Bey.
PS? Doesn?t everyone love how Jessica?s purses are getting larger with every month of her pregnancy? By the time of her due date, she?ll just be carrying a big Hefty bag as a purse.

Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied were both spotted wearing what looked to be wedding rings at last Sunday’s Academy Awards which led many to believe they secretly married. Surprising news because celebrity weddings usually come with a 5 page spread in a weekly and million dollar interviews about what kind of dress they wore which no regular person could afford. I mean, what kind of celebrity are you, Natalie Portman? Kris Jenner is just sitting there shaking her head muttering, “Oh, this will not do.”
But it’s true. The news has been confirmed by Jamie Wolf, the jeweler who made the rings. “I designed the rings worn by Benjamin Millepied and Natalie Portman,” Wolf tells Us. “They were made with recycled platinum and conflict free diamonds.” What? Second hand precious metal and diamonds mined with no bloodshed? This is bullsh*t.
No details on when or where they married and their manager didn’t care to comment so it’s safe to assume either Natalie and Benjamin don’t want you know about their private life or they’re just playing hard to get. She’s such a tease.

Yes, we?re still doing some backup coverage from the Oscars. So let?s keep talking about one of the most talked-about looks from the Oscars, Gwyneth Paltrow and goopy superhero cape, all by Tom Ford. Now that I?m some-odd 40 hours removed from Super-Goop?s cape, I do have to admit? it was a smart look, style-wise. If she had just gone with the Tom Ford gown, it would have been too plain, too bridal. With the cape, she really snazzed it up, though. Too bad she took off the cape for her presenting duties, and for the after-parties. I would have enjoyed it more if she rocked the cape all night.
In other Goop news, while Gwyneth was at the Governor?s Ball (just after the Oscars), she was asked about her BFF Beyonce and little Blue Ivy. Gwyneth deigned to speak about BIC!
She’s only seven-weeks-old, but Blue Ivy Carter is destined to become a star like her parents Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z.
“She is going to be an entertainer,” Gwyneth Paltrow, 39, explained to Hollywood Life at the Governor’s Ball Sunday. “She just has this glow around her like her mother.”
Paltrow has been close pals with the hip-hop power couple for more than a decade. “Beyonce is doing great,” Paltrow said of the first-time mom, who welcomed Blue Ivy in New York City on January 7. “She’s just a natural at being a mom.”
As for Blue Ivy? “She’s stunning,” Paltrow gushed. “She has the most beautiful eyes.”

Oh, and I know CB will enjoy this – I found this interview with Gwyneth?s makeup artist for the Oscars, who is kind of delusional about how Gwyneth?s makeup situation looks so, so rough.
Gwyneth Paltrow sported an “elegantly bronzed” look on the Oscars red carpet, says her make-up artist. The actress dazzled at the 84th Annual Academy Awards in a chic caped Tom Ford gown and minimal accessories. Gwyneth worked with beauty professional Leslie Lopez to achieve her stunning make-up.
Leslie explained she wanted to create a look that “complemented the dress and was still sophisticated enough for the red carpet,” describing it as “elegantly bronzed”.
According to website Beauty High, the make-up artist started with NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser in order to give Gwyneth a “dewy base”. She then created a radiant glow with Super Orgasm Illuminator on the “apples of her cheeks”.
For the eyes, Leslie applied Alhambra Duo Eyeshadow on the eyelid for a “pop of gold colour”. She then added Maybelline’s brown liquid eyeliner in the lash line. She finished the overall look with NARS Larger Than Life Volumizing Mascara and used a slick of gloss on Gwyneth’s pout.
Meanwhile, hairstylist Adir Abergel created a “sleek and modern interpretation of the low-nape ponytail.” He prepped Gwyneth’s hair with Fekkai Coiff Ironless Straightening Balm from the roots to ends of her damp hair. He then created a deep side parting using a comb and blow dried the hair without a brush, making sure to “keep the part and desired shape to the hair.”
Adir then flat ironed the hair until it was “completely smooth” and pulled the hair back into a low ponytail. The hair professional chose to allow the elastic hairbands to show as he wanted to give Gwyneth’s tresses a bit of “raw edge”.

The rubber band in her hair just killed me – that was worse than the too-orange makeup (which was caked on, as you could see when she was on stage). There?s nothing ?raw edge? about wearing a rubber band in your hair at THE OSCARS. Especially with that sleek Tom Ford look – the rubber band was just tacky. Peasant-y, if you will.
Oh – people claim that Chris Martin came out to party with Goop after the Oscars. I haven?t seen one photo of him, though.

Departing the West Coast, Taylor Swift was spotted catching a flight at LAX International Airport last night (February 27).
The ?Should?ve Said No? songstress carried a musical instrument case as she strolled past a swarm of shutterbugs, looking darling in a retro-style striped top with tan capri shorts and vintage wingtip shoes.
And while she?s spent plenty of time in the recording studio for her thriving music career, Taylor told press that recording the voice for her ?Lorax? character Audrey was a brand new experience.
"It's a completely different space that you go to in your head. It's very different from when you're singing songs that you wrote. ...With this, you're sitting there in a booth by yourself having conversations with no one."
As for her character, Taylor gushed, "She's heavenly. She's such a day dreamer, and she cares so much about the past. To some degree, you have to have a priority based on the past and the future as well as the present."

It?s overkill, which is Megan?s specialty when she?s promoting a film. That being said, I like the cover image a lot – great hair, and her face doesn?t look crazy and jacked. Last we heard from Lindsay Lohan, she was telling crack-lies about Elizabeth Taylor and I was predicting a cracktastrophe at some of the pre- and post-Oscar parties, especially the parties held at the Chateau Marmont, which is where LL is living now. Fortunately for Lindsay, I can?t find any stories about any crackie behavior around the Oscars. She flew to NYC yesterday, and the header photo is of LL last night in the city - you can see more pics of her looking ragged here.
LL is in NYC because she?s scheduled to host this week?s episode of Saturday Night Live. Will I watch it? I don?t know. Probably not. I like to sleep. LL?s publicity team (Dina and a bottle of a Cuervo) have been leaking all kinds of info about the SNL gig – Lindsay will apparently ?do anything? the writers want her to do. But that?s not all – there?s also a rumor going around that LL will be giving a ?major? interview to Matt Lauer on Thursday?s Today show.
Lindsay Lohan has just arrived in New York City to begin rehearsals for Saturday Night Live, which she will be hosting on March 3, and RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that the actress will also be interviewed on The Today Show this week.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the 25-year-old is ?very excited? to be hosting SNL. ?Lindsay has been a longtime fan of Saturday Night Live and is incredibly excited to host the show and work with the amazing cast and writers,” her rep, Steve Honig told RadarOnline.com.
“Lindsay has agreed to go on The Today Show for a no holds barred interview. She has tremendous respect for Matt Lauer, who will most likely be doing the interview,? a source close to the actress tells RadarOnline.com. ?Lindsay is a little nervous about hosting SNL, but that is to be expected. She is grateful for the opportunity and won’t let Lorne Michaels (executive producer of the show), down.?
The source says that Lindsay?s Today Show interview will air Thursday.
Last week, Lohan got a glowing report and praise from the judge handling her misdemeanor theft case. Judge Stephanie Sautner told Lindsay during the brief hearing that it looks like she has gotten “her life back on track.”
Furthermore, Lindsay is in the homestretch of her probation requirements, and once she completes the remaining 14 days of community service and 5 therapy sessions, she will have fullfilled all of the obligations from the Court and will no longer be required to report to her probation officer.
This could be the beginning of a comeback for Lohan, as she just inked a deal to play Liz Taylor in the Lifetime biopic television movie. Filming will begin in Canada in April.
“Lindsay knows she can be her own worst enemy at times, and she is really working at getting her life back on track and wants to be in the news for her acting skills, and nothing else,” an insider tells RadarOnline.com.

Frieda Pinto is the cover girl for the April issue of Esquire UK. Esquire UK has been doing a bang-up job lately – they?ve gotten some really great (dude) cover subjects and the interviews are FAR superior to the stuff Esquire US is putting out. But, every dude mag falters a bit in the presence of a hot girl, and they go into their ?default? mode and think ?Let?s just get her to take off her clothes and talk about being naked.? I really dislike when they do this, specifically when it?s being done to Freida Pinto. She?s too beautiful to do photo shoots in her underwear. It feels gross. Sure, the photos are ?sexy?. I recently watched part of that Woody Allen film she did, You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger. The movie was kind of awful, but she was cute in it, and honestly, I admire her hustle. She?s an Indian actress who speaks with an accent – there aren?t going to be a million parts for her in Hollywood or in European productions. I think her career is going very well, though – she?s been taking smaller parts in big movies and big parts in small films. Plus, she supplements her income with beauty product endorsements. All in all, I expect big things from her. And please, Freida – don?t agree to ?the wet look? for any more photo shoots. You?re better than that.

Every outlet is now running stories about this, and I really don?t know why. There?s a rumor going around that Natalie Portman and her Ballet K-Fed, Benjamin Millepied, were wearing wedding bands two nights ago at the Oscars. Who here would be shocked and appalled that Natalie and Ben might have gotten married secretly? Seriously, who? Natalie keeps her private life locked down in large part, playing an enviably clever game of ?privacy? and private-life accessibility. It wouldn?t surprise me in the least if Natalie and Ben are married. It wouldn?t surprise me if Natalie and Ben got married before little Aleph was even born last year.
Did Natalie Portman slyly reveal big news before more than 1 billion TV viewers? On Sunday night’s 84th Academy Awards, the actress appeared to be wearing a wedding ring set as she clutched an envelope onstage.
And her French fianc, Black Swan choreographer Benjamin Millepied, was photographed with a band on his wedding finger.
Was there a secret wedding? That remains a mystery for now, as the Oscar winner’s rep hasn’t commented.
Portman, 30, announced in December 2010 that she and Millepied were quietly engaged and that they were expecting a child. PEOPLE confirmed last June that they had welcomed a son, Aleph.

I?ve been looking through the Oscar photos, and it seems like Natalie was making a game of it with photographers, sometimes purposefully hiding her ring finger behind her back, sometimes gratuitously flashing her ring with a sly smile. So? yeah, I believe it. They?re married. Kudos to them for doing it quietly and keeping it so quiet for so long (I?m assuming it happened a while ago). But I still have my doubts as to whether this is the smartest match for Natalie in the long run. I still think Benjamin seems like a user and a starf–ker.

Nicole Richie covers the April issue of Flare magazine to promote her upcoming television show, “Fashion Star” (also starring Jessica Simpson), which will air on NBC. While the cover shot leaves something to be desired, the rest of the photoshoot (which I’ve included at the bottom of this post) is much more flattering in terms of styling. At present, the portions of released interview are rather scant, but I’ve managed to rustle up a few illuminating tidbits. Among other concerns, Nicole appears to be a very devoted mother who worries how Hollywood will eventually treat her two children, Harlow Winter Kate (4) and Sparrow James Midnight (2). At the moment, Nicole is all for keeping them in the dark about their fame as well as that of their parents:
Harlow doesn’t know she’s famous: “She has no idea that she has two lines named after her — I try and let her be a kid.”
She’s a morning person: “I wake up at 5:30 in the morning, every morning, so I can be alone. I don’t have anywhere to be, but mentally, I like to go downstairs and drink my coffee … I’m telling you, it changes my entire day.”
On Hollywood rolel models: “I was just talking to a friend of mine who has two little girls about a certain singer whose name I won’t mention. He was really upset, saying she wasn’t a good role model for his kids. But here’s the thing: that girl is 20-something, so she shouldn’t be a role model to your little girls. She’s human, and it’s unrealistic to put people on a pedestal and expect that they’re not going to make mistakes.”

Nicole sounds so grounded here and worlds apart from her old DUI self, who would never dream of getting out of bed before sunrise to drink coffee and enjoy a few fleeting moments to herself. To be certain, she’s eclipsed Paris Hilton’s potential maturity by an exponential rate.
One thing that I am curious about is which singer Nicole is referring to in terms of a bad role model. If I had to put my finger on it, I’d guess it was Katy Perry, whose bubblegum, sugary image places her music inside of virtually every preschool- and elementary-aged dance recital that I’ve ever attended within the past few years. My own daughter’s friends adore Katy and think that she shoots fireworks “out of her heart.” If they only knew.

When I first saw this Life & Style report claiming that Uma Thurman is totally allegedly pregnant, I thought, ?Yeah right.? First of all, I can?t even keep up with Uma?s love life – she?s had an on-off relationship with Swiss playboy Arpad Busson for YEARS, and I actually thought they were currently ?off.? Second of all, Uma always looks pregnant. I?m not saying that to be mean or anything – she?s a tall woman who gains weight almost exclusively in her boobs and abdomen. She?s looked pregnant for years. As it turns out, though, Uma actually is knocked up – her rep is confirming it!
Uma Thurman is reprising her role as a mom. The 41-year-old actress is expecting her third child, a source exclusively tells Life & Style.
“Yes, Uma is pregnant!” a friend of Uma’s tells Life & Style. “She hasn’t announced it yet, but a lot of her friends were asking her because they could tell the difference when they saw her at New York Fashion Week. She’s usually so skinny, but now she has the cutest little bump and a glow about her.”
Indeed, the former model kept covered up while sitting front row at Tommy Hilfiger on Feb. 12, wearing a baggy blouse and loose blazer. She also stepped out recently in NYC at the Room to Grow fundraiser, which supports babies born into poverty.
“She’s excited,” the insider shares. “She’s happy and just a few months along right now. She’s due in late, late summer.”
The father is her businessman boyfriend Arpad Busson, a friend of Uma’s confirms.
Uma has two children with her former husband Ethan Hawke.

As I said, her rep is now confirming it far and wide. I didn?t realize her two kids with Ethan are so old now – Maya is 13, and Levon is 10. Ethan has had two more kids with his nanny-wife Ryan too. Us Weekly claims that Uma and Arpad got back together last year, which I have no memory of. Who knows? As for Arpad?s baby-daddy situation – he famously has two sons with Elle Macpherson – and Elle always said that he refused to marry her. He has a real thing for leggy blondes, doesn?t he?
Congrats to Uma, though. You rarely see photos of her kids, and I get the feeling she lives a very normal, low-key life in New York. I think she?s very focused on being a mom, and she?ll enjoy it the third time around too.

Go ahead and yell at me, but I still don?t see the big deal about Angelina Jolie?s leg posing at the Oscars. I mean, I understand why it?s a ?thing? and I think she needed to put her leg away, of course. I thought it was funny when The Descendants screenwriters teased her, but I thought that?s all it was – friendly teasing. Was she trying too hard to work the slit on her dress? Yes. But it?s Angelina. It?s not some Glee twit. Even when Angelina is ?trying too hard? it?s still pretty awesome. The whole incident – and my perception of the balls-out crazy overreaction to The Leg – reminded me of the thing from the 2009 Critics Choice Awards, where everyone claimed Angelina made a bitchface when Anne Hathaway won Best Actress – go back and watch the tape with your 2012 eyes. Is that really what happened? Or are you just hungry to criticize Angelina for anything and nothing?
Anyway, Angelina decided to do some post-Oscar-catastrophe (?? RLY ??) image work. Very conveniently – oh so convenient! – Angelina was pap?d in Beverly Hills yesterday with her de facto mother-in-law, Jane Pitt, and Angie?s youngest kids, the twins Vivienne and Knox.

You will forget about The Leg. You will stare at photos of happy Jolie-Pitt children. You will see that Angelina still has the approval of Brad?s mom. You will see that Vivienne – the child who normally looks like she?s always on the verge of a wailing temper tantrum – is happy and lovingly attached to her mother. What Leg?
Seriously, though – if Angelina was really worried about The Leg and her detractors, she would have brought out the big guns – Empress Zahara! The fact that we?re getting Viv and Knox means that she?s concerned, but she?s not putting up the Code Red: Brangelina Catastrophe siren.

Katy Perry has reportedly spent $50,000 (31,000) on cookery classes.
The popstar bought the culinary lessons during a charity auction at Sir Elton John’s Oscars viewing party on Sunday.
The event in Beverly Hills saw the ‘I Kissed A Girl’ singer go up against movie producer Steve Tisch for the prize.
Although Tisch had offered up a higher bid of $80,000 for the lessons conducted by celebrity chef Cat Cora, he decided to share the item with Perry in the end.
An insider told Us: “Katy emptied her purse out jokingly for the cameras before she and Steve agreed to share the prize for $100,000. Katy got up and hugged him delightedly.”
$100,000 to a charitable cause might sound like a good idea, but I feel sorry for that chef. Something tells me that she might be a little upset when Katy gets bored with the science of cooking and spends her time dipping her fingers in the crme frache and licking it off, or making suggestive motions with English cucumbers.

The March 2012 cover of Interview Magazine leaked online earlier today (February 27), and it revealed a dramatically different looking Katy Perry on its front page.
The "Part Of Me" singer shed her usually playful, girly self for the black and white spread, unveiling a very Amy Winehouse-like seduction in the pose.
In the snapshot, the 27-year-old is dons a blinged out bra top with long black gloves and dangling diamond earrings.
After offering up the sneak peek of their latest celeb-fronted issue, the mag released a statement about it on their site, reading, "If you haven?t already heard, Katy Perry is our March covergirl. We?re pretty excited (!), especially as she?s interviewed by one of our favorite comedians, Kristen Wiig. Above is a sneak peek of Katy?s cover, shot by Mikael Jansson and styled by Karl Templer.
