Proving her hard work is paying off, Vanessa Hudgens showed off her toned bod while making her way into her gym in North Hollywood, California on Thursday (August 30).
Giving the cameras a slight smile before nervously chewing at her nails, the "High School Musical" cutie wore tiny black yoga shorts and a matching tank top while carrying a white towel and water bottle for her sweat session.
The outing comes as Vanessa recently opened up to Glamour South Africa about her edgy role in her upcoming film "Spring Breakers," revealing, "I always wanted to do things that are completely different. I want people to watch movies and think, 'Wow, that was Vanessa Hudgens?'"
However, the 23-year-old realizes the comedy is not appropriate for her Disney followers, telling the mag, "My younger fans, of course, are not going to be able to watch this film," though she further tells, "Under these deep, dark, and heavy characters I?m inside of myself just jumping for joy at the fun that I?m having."
Also talking about how school wasn't for her, Miss Hudgens confessed, "Yeah. I don?t know. I get bored quite quickly. I like mixing it up and trying new things and learning from different people."

LeAnn Rimes made sure to let the media know that she had just checked herself into rehab to deal with the “anxiety and stress” issues in her life. Somewhere, Amy Winehouse just rolled her eyes and snorted with disgust. People Magazine says:
“LeAnn has voluntarily entered a 30 day in-patient treatment facility to cope with anxiety and stress,” her rep Marcel Parisea [said].
“While there will be speculation regarding her treatment, she is simply there to learn and develop coping mechanisms. While privacy isn’t expected, it’s certainly appreciated.”
Though Rimes has been the victim of body bullying in the past, her rep confirms she is not seeking treatment for an eating disorder or substance abuse.
“This is just a time for me to emotionally check out for a second and take care of myself and come back in 30 days as the best 30-year-old woman I can be,” LeAnn said.
Well, I’m glad to see she’s finally taking a little time for herself. Who KNOWS how long it’s been since she’s done that. Between all the vacations and tweeting and having her likeness made in fondant, life can really get overwhelming sometimes.

Finally confirming her exciting relationship advancement, Sofia Vergara has acknowledged that she is, indeed, engaged to fiance Nick Loeb.
The 40-year-old actress stated that - while nuptials are expected in the future - they won't be all that soon, explaining, "I haven't started planning anything because everything has been very recent."

Ordinarily, I?m a big fan of Naomi Watts, but she?s been on my S?t List for a few months. It mainly has to do with her role in that Princess Diana bio-pic, in which she wears horrible wigs and self-servingly claims that Diana would have wanted her to do the movie, and that she has Diana?s postmortem ?permission?. But now I might have a new reason to throw some shade at Naomi? look at her styling at last night?s Venice Film Festival premiere of The Reluctant Fundamentalist.
Naomi wore this Marchesa dress that I can?t really decide on. For the most part, I think it?s a mistake for blondes to wear these beige-y/nude shades. That being said, Kate Hudson also went with a kind of beigey-rose-gold shade, and I absolutely loved her Versace, and I thought she looked amazing. So what?s my issue with this dress? Part of it just knee-jerk hatred of Marchesa, and the other part of it is just? this is a bad dress. It?s a bad dress on Naomi, and it?s a bad dress in general. It washes her out. Naomi does that a lot ? she wears gowns that make her look like a dishrag with red lipstick.
I should note? Naomi was only on the red carpet as a plus-one. Her dude (boyfriend/baby-daddy/fianc) Liev Schreiber is in the film (also starring Riz Ahmed, Kate Hudson and Kiefer Sutherland), so that?s why they were there. Incidentally, Liev and Naomi certainly rode out that little gossip blip about their relationship, didn?t they? Just as soon as there were whispers that Schreiber might be fooling around, there was a fast and furious denial, and a series of family photo-ops, and then everything went quiet and now here we are. I still wonder about them? but whatever. I guess they?re working through it.
PS? I?m also including some photos of former supermodel Laetitia Casta because I haven?t seen her in years, and she looks AMAZING. I think her dress is too? revealing. But she looks great.

Taylor Swift has a new interview with Rolling Stone, although I don?t think she?s taken the cover or anything. Much to her credit (?), she doesn?t completely avoid questions about dating a Kennedy teenager, but she manages to avoid saying Conor Kennedy?s name and she only talks around the whole buying-a-house-right-beside-the-Kennedy-compound thing. Mostly, she talks about music and how she wrote her new album:
“I went through a few roller coasters,” says Taylor Swift, reflecting on her relationships over the past two years. She channeled the turmoil into her fourth studio LP, Red, out October 22nd. “Trying to chronicle each step of the way was challenging, because you go to some really dark places with the lyrics. Then in the next track, you’re talking about how amazing it is to meet somebody new.”
After writing 2010?s smash Speak Now by herself, Swift veered in the opposite direction, co-writing with pop hitmakers such as Max Martin and Adele collaborator Dan Wilson. She wound up with nearly 40 potential songs; in between stops on the yearlong world tour that she wrapped in March, Swift joined her writing partners in L.A. and Nashville.
“I felt like an apprentice,” Swift says. “They taught me so much about melodic sense, and they let me do what I love, which is the lyrics.”
The result is Swift’s most eclectic set ever, ranging from “State of Grace,” a howling, U2-style epic with reverb-drenched guitars, to a sweet acoustic duet with U.K. singer Ed Sheeran. Another key track even features a dubstep-inspired bass breakdown. So far, the new direction isn’t hurting Swift’s career: Lead single “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” a bitter breakup anthem with a hip-hop-flavored Max Martin beat, has shattered chart records, selling a stunning 623,000 digital singles in its first week. To Swift, the musical excursions aren’t surprising, given how much hip-hop and R&B she listens to. “I have so many playlists full of Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown,” she says. “I love Wiz Khalifa.”
Lyrically, the album is full of Swift’s usual themes of romance and heartbreak. “I know general things about love,” she says. “How to treat people well, what you deserve and when to walk away. Other than that, love is a complete mystery ? and that’s why I like to write about it.”
Swift has spent much of the summer with her new boyfriend, Conor Kennedy (the son of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.), in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts. She’s even looked into buying a house near the Kennedy compound. “That would be so amazing,” she says.
But Swift won’t be resting for long: She’s already thinking about how to top her last tour, which featured aerialists, costume changes and a mock wedding onstage every night. “I really want to go out on the road in the spring,” she says. “After I write a song, I always end up laying awake at night thinking, ‘What are the lighting cues going to be on this? How big is the pit going to be?’ I have been thinking of some big moments that are going to happen.”

Fine, I?ll say it ? this is the best Kate Hudson has looked in YEARS. The hair is good, the makeup is good (kind of heavy, but still), her body looks amazing and her styling is interesting. Yes, Kate Hudson is winning me over in these new photos from the Venice Film Festival photo call and premiere of The Reluctant Fundamentalist. Kate wore a seemingly oversized Gucci suit in off-white for the photo call ? I?m not crazy about the jacket as a suit-jacket (although I could dig it as a regular jacket over jeans, kind of like a snazzy peacoat), nor do I like the length of the pants. But overall, she was kind of working the outfit. Then for the red carpet premiere of the film, Kate wore this peachy-beige Atelier Versace gown from the Fall 2012 collection. The look is straight off the runway ? and I have to say, Kate worked it better than the model on the runway. Kate also brought her man, her baby-daddy, Matt Bellamy. I hate his sunglasses.
Meanwhile, did you know that Kate Hudson is going to be all over your favorite high-school-musical show, Glee? She?s going to be in six episodes this fall, and according to Us Weekly, Kate does not care for Lea Michele?s diva ?tude.
Filming with Lea Michele hasn?t brought Kate Hudson any Glee. Midway though her six-episode arc as a dance teacher to Michele?s character on the Fox hit, Hudson has found her costar ?a total diva,? an insider tells Us Weekly.
?Kate says Lea is a nightmare. Once during a technical delay, Lea snapped her fingers and said, ?Let?s go, I have plans!?? Between takes, Hudson hangs out with the whole cast ? except Michele.

Oh. My. GOD. People Magazine is reporting exclusively that LeAnn Rimes has entered an ?in-patient treatment facility? to deal with ?anxiety and stress?. This isn?t idle speculation either ? it comes directly from her rep. LeAnn JUST turned 30 years old two days ago, after celebrating her birthday for a month soaked with booze and bikinis. LeAnn made sure that both Us Weekly and People Magazine got exclusives on her birthday celebrations too ? even after having a party sponsored by a tequila company, LeAnn still made sure that Us Weekly detailed how she ?decided to forgo hosting a blowout bash in favor of a cozy dinner date at Nobu in Malibu? with Eddie Cibrian ? read Us Weekly?s story from two days ago here if you want to see how LeAnn was pushing a certain kind of image just earlier this week. So, is this really about ?anxiety and stress?? Or is it about booze? Or is it about something else entirely?

Rimes’s husband Eddie Cibrian, 39, tells PEOPLE he’s giving his wife his full support and praises her courage.
“My wife is the most remarkable and courageous woman I know,” says Cibrian. “I am so proud of her for having the strength to finally take some time for herself. I will be with her every step of the way.”

It feels like LeAnn is actively encouraging us to see her as some kind of victim, like she?s been under so much stress and she?s had so much anxiety because (in her mind) she?s being ?bullied?. So? I tend to think this probably is a ?rehab for mental health issues? rather than ?rehab for booze problems?. That being said, I do think the timing is provocative, especially considering it was pretty much business as usual for LeAnn lately ? she just launched her new membership-only website and she?s going to have to begin promoting her new album soon. Could it be that LeAnn simply doesn?t want to go out and hustle anymore, thus all of the ?stress? and anxiety? If that?s the case? she SHOULD take time off. She?s been working and hustling since she was a kid. Why not take a step back?
Of course, I have another theory too, but it?s pretty mean. So I won?t say it now. I do wonder how Eddie will spend his 30 LeAnn-free days, though.

I have smuggled so many ingredients across so many borders, like shallot confit from Thailand, or a new hot sauce from New Orleans not approved by the FDA."
The 25-year-old went further by revealing how she gets away with her secret border crossings, dishing, ?I'm stuffing them in teddy bears cut in half and put back together again and I've gotten really good at it, although now I'm talking about it, I'm sure Customs will be all over me next time I go anywhere."

Arriving early for her flight, Paris Hilton had time to sign autographs for fans as she made her way through LAX airport in Los Angeles to catch a plane headed for China on Tuesday (August 28).
The 31-year-old hotel heiress looked breezy in a pleated tan and cream long dress, floppy black hat, and large sunglasses.
Anxious to keep fans in on every step of the journey, Paris tweeted photos from the airport to the plane. Her first photo is a self-snapped pic of her at the airport with the comment, " At the airport ready to rock Shanghai. #YES!"
Later, the former reality star tweeted, "On the plane about to take off to Shanghai. Rocking my sunglass line & @PHPurses. I love going to #China!" with a photo of her on the plane.
