Earlier this week we brought you the new Paper magazine cover featuring Jennifer Lopez and Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing and now it?s time for the whole photo shoot!
Under the watchful lens of photographer Nicolas Moore, the ?Waiting For Tonight? songstress poses up a storm while donning some of Balmain?s hottest new offerings, hand-picked by Rob and Mariel.
Never one to be overshadowed, Rousteing also commands plenty of attention, noting, ?Fashion people sometimes forget that, except for the front row that you?re going to get at your show, there?s an entire world that loves fashion. So it?s important for me and for Balmain to show the diversity because it?s also about the luxury of communication. And you don?t communicate for just 10 people in the room during a show; you communicate to an entire world.?

The View‘s revolving door of hosts makes it hard to keep up, especially since the show probably should have ended years ago. With Rosie O’Donnell popping in so often, the dizzying effect only heightened, but I think Rosie is done with the show for good. She certainly won’t be around next season, and Barbara Walters and ABC announced the season 19 lineup. Candace Cameron Bure and Michelle Collins are joining the show, and Joy Behar (love her) is coming back for more. So along with Whoopi Goldberg and Raven-Symone, this panel should provide some semi-entertaining arguments in the months to come.
Candace Cameron Bure has really enjoyed a career resurrection lately. She’s got Fuller House coming up on Netflix, and now The View! Poor Kirk Cameron will have to proselytize through cheesy cottage-industry movies without his sister because she’s busy now. I look forward to hearing her ramble about submissive marriages and juice cleanses. Here’s ABC’s annoucement:
It’s official! Fuller House star Candace Cameron Bure is adding another job to her plate – The View co-host. The actress is officially joining the daytime talk show’s panel, alongside returning host Joy Behar and new corresponded Paula Faris, ABC announced on Tuesday, Aug. 25.
The just-added Season 19 panelists, newbies Bure and Good Morning America Weekend co-anchor Faris, along with veteran Behar, will contribute their expertise on politics, style, food, culture, beauty, and wellness.
“As The View embarks on a remarkable 19th season, I am extremely proud to see the legacy of smart and diverse women engaging in entertaining and thought-provoking conversation continue,? Barbara Walters, creator and executive producer, said in a press release announcing the news.
Behar had this to say of her new (old) gig: “Just when I thought I was out, they pulled me back in,? the comedian said. ?Plus, [my husband] Steve was getting tired of applauding every time I gave my opinion. But I?m happy to be back home. And I’m looking forward to sticking my two cents into the hot topics, especially now that Hillary [Clinton] and the Donald are in the spotlight.”

Man, I bet Kelly Osbourne is seriously upset she didn’t make the cut. I think she may have been a serious contender because people always hire her for no reason. Then she threw her red carpet tantrum last weekend. ABC has enough drama on The View without Kelly’s grumpiness. She would have been one ego too many on that show. She’d want to be the moderator, and there can be only one. But Joy is back, so that’s good news.

She?s no stranger to being targeted for theft, and Lindsay Lohan was once again robbed of some expensive jewelry in Italy over the weekend.
Per a Gossip Cop source, the ?Georgia Rule? actress attended the wedding of her friends Justin and Lana in Florence on Saturday (August 22), though it?s still unclear how much bling was lifted.
Interestingly enough, LiLo wound up garnering Instagram criticism for wearing an off-white dress and bejeweled headpiece to the ceremony, with fans sarcastically asking, ?Who did you marry Lindsay??

Rita Ora has a new Q/A style interview with the Guardian to promote Southpaw, which already came and went in theaters in July. It made a little money, although I don’t know if Jake Gyllenhaal will receive the Oscar nod he was going for. And I didn’t hear anything, positive or negative, about Rita’s appearance in the film. Harvey Weinstein said she was “breathtaking“ in it, but Harvey tends to be easily enthused, especially when it comes to making someone wear Marchesa on the red carpet. Here’s some excerpts from Rita’s interview:
Her greatest fear: “Playing hide and seek in a cemetery in Earl?s Court when I was seven – no one found me and I thought I was going to get stolen by ghosts.”
Her most embarrassing moment: “My first ‘nip slip,’ at Lovebox, 2009.”
Her most prized possession: “My new dog, Cher. She?s a maltipoo.”
Her screensaver: “An old Versace campaign with Cindy Crawford and Claudia Schiffer.”
Her least favorite body part: “My butt and my upper thighs.”
Who would play you in the film of your life?: “Julianne Moore. She is beautiful.”

I feel for her on the anxiety issue. There are few things more immediately confusing and terrifying than a panic attack. The symptoms mimic so many other (very dangerous) physical ailments, so it’s good that Rita found help. Regular therapy can also help some people (although it doesn’t make a blip for others). Does anyone else find it hilarious that Rita namedropped her first nipslip as her most embarrassing moment? She seems to remember the exact time and place that it happened, right down to the outfit. When cameras are flashing, perhaps it’s easier to have the mortification burned into one’s memory. Poor Rita, but she’ll be fine.
