Slipping into character on the set of ABC’s “Cougar Town,” Courteney Cox was spotted shooting scenes for the comedic show on Thursday (January 21).
Working alongside co-star Busy Philipps, the former “Friends” actress sported a tiny blue dress and heels, and seemed to be in great spirits despite the rainy, wet conditions.
Proving she’s no diva, Ms Cox happily held her own umbrella during a downpour and even offered to share it with a crew member.
Meanwhile, Courteney and husband attended Sunday night’s Golden Globes where Cox was nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series, Comedy or Musical, but the award ended up in the hands of Toni Collette.

It’s going to be one of the biggest charity events in recent memory, and now Madonna has signed on to take part in the Hope for Haiti telethon.
The Material Girl is scheduled to perform as part of the New York City branch of the show, adding to the already-stellar lineup of celebrities.
Madge will join musicians such as Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Jay-Z, the Jonas Brothers, David Archuleta, and many more acts.
The Hope for Haiti telethon will essentially take over all major networks as well as cable channels and satellite programming.

Known for her ever-changing image, Madonna shows off an unlikely guise in the latest Dolce & Gabbana advertising campaign - a sexy housewife. The Material Girl flaunts her curves in a series of sexy outfits in some very domestic settings in the shots for the Italian designers’ Spring/Summer 2010 collection.
Looking years younger than her 51 years, Madonna strikes sultry poses as she performs housewife duties such as hanging up the laundry or sweeping the kitchen.
The striking shots mark Madonna’s first outing as the new face of Dolce & Gabbana.
Madonna struck up a friendship with Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana while she was filming Dick Tracy in the early Nineties and they were invited to designer her costumes for The Girlie Show tour in 1993.
The Italian designer duo announced their new collaboration with Madonna two months ago, which came after she spent her birthday with the pair on-board this yacht in Italy last August. They said: ‘To have Madonna in our campaign is a dream come true.’
The new campaign was taken by celebrated photographer Steven Klein in New York City on November 6 and is inspired by Italian neo-realism cinema.
The new collection sees the designers go back to their Italian roots and re-inventing their classic corset so Madonna - as an Italian-American - was a fitting spokesmodel.
In one shot, a pensive Madonna sits on her bed in a plunging black lace corset as she strokes her cat. Another image shows the singer inhaling the smell of fresh clothes as she hangs her laundry in a courtyard.
Despite being a mother-of-four, it’s unlikely Madonna regularly performs housewife duties in real-life due to her army of staff.
Madonna’s housewife character in the ads appears to balance her glamourous looks with her domestic duties and is seen applying lipliner while spending time with her ‘daughter’.
In another image it appears Madonna the housewife is experiencing heartache as she sits crying on the bed while packing a suitcase.
The ad campaign has already been endorsed by the mother of Gabbana. Writing on his Twitter micro-blogging page last month, he said: ‘Dinner with my family!!! My mother love the ad campaign with Madonna.’

There are several disturbing photos in here, the one where a faceless child is apparently staring at the chicken cutlets (or the Gristle, we don?t know) while Madge gives something a wonk-eyed stare. Another favorite of mine is the one where Madge is ?acting? by crying for the camera. I don?t get it. Why is she sad? Do her cheekbones hurt? But I don?t even buy her ?acting? job. It just looks like they sprinkled some water on Madge?s dead face. Too harsh? Look at her! Madonna was not an unattractive woman - but what she?s done to herself is just sad.

This video is the craziest thing I?ve seen in a while. Apparently, there?s this Italian talk-comedy-tabloid show, La Iene, and they decided to organize a sexual assault on David Beckham. They literally sent this woman out to Beckham?s hotel or wherever, where he was signing autographs and talking to journalists in the street, and the show filmed this woman grabbing Beckham?s Goldenballs. It?s crazy. And Beckham doesn?t like having the Goldenballs groped, either. I didn?t know Becks had a ?I?ll cut you bitch? face, but he does. Props to him.
Italian comedy show La Iene however, saw no problem with committing sexual assault on England?s sexiest ever man, after Becks became the victim of a daft stunt involving a presenter groping his Goldenballs.
Wearing marigolds [Americas: rubber gloves] (we do not appreciate any suggestion that David?s genitals are somehow unclean), Elena Di Cioccio made a grab for Beck?s bollocks to see whether he had been on the receiving end of any computer-based c-ck enhancement for the old Armani pics in a segment that translates as ‘testing the small peas’.
Becks was quickly hurried away by his peeps, looking pretty terrified/hacked off/certainly not aroused.

What a difference a baby makes! That?s what stars of Grey?s Anatomy are saying about their co-worker Katherine Heigl. A source tells BettyConfidential that Katherine has become a changed woman since she and her husband, singer Josh Kelley, adopted their daughter, Naleigh, a special-needs child from South Korea last fall.
?She’s mellowed out since bringing home Naleigh,? says the source. ?She?s a doting mom. She doesn?t like to be apart from her baby, so she brings her to the set as often as she can.? Everyone is more at ease with less tension on the set.?
When Katherine joined Grey?s Anatomy in 2005, she and her now ex co-star, TR Knight, became fast friends, but it seemed the pair courted drama. Katherine complained loudly and publicly about her long working hours and TR had a much-publicized feud with Isaiah Washington. Last season, when TR left the show, everyone thought Katherine would be easier to work with, but that wasn?t the case.
?She and TR hung out together on the set all the time. Once he was gone, everyone thought she?d be friendlier. But she started rattling the cages again, complaining about scripts.?
The cast was even relieved when she took time off last year to film her upcoming movie, Five Killers, with Ashton Kutcher. And, then took another five weeks off this season to film the romantic comedy Life As We Know It. But, now it seems that motherhood has made Katherine more laid-back and the insider says it?s interested to see the changes in everyone on set as they gather around her and her well-behaved baby.
Could it be that Katherine now has more in common with her co-stars? Ellen Pompeo had a baby last year and Chyler Leigh already brings her daughter, Anniston, to the set, and Eric Dane and his wife, Rebecca Gayheart, are expecting their first child together, a girl, later this year.
The source adds that even directors and producers have been commenting on how easygoing Katherine has been lately. But no one is analyzing it too much; they?re just happy that the drama is now contained to what?s going on in front of the cameras!

I think it?s perfectly possible and probable that Katherine is toning it down, maturing, and learning how to be more professional and classy. Is it because she?s a mom now? Could be. It could also be that she finally got into her head that her big diva mouth was destroying her career. You know what I?ve noticed, though? Some dink has finally decided to make an honest woman out of Tara Reid. Assuming she is still a woman after all that surgery. People Magazine says
Tara Reid and boyfriend Michael Axtmann were having dinner at The Little Door restaurant in Los Angeles on Monday night when Axtmann asked for something not on the menu: Reid’s hand in marriage.
“Michael surprised Tara with a beautiful ring,” the actress’s rep [says]. “Tara was so happy.”
Good thing they mentioned the ring, because I was about to say that “being engaged” is not the same thing as “being engaged in oral sex when the officer approached the window.” I know because the Poughkeepsie Times issued a retraction for my engagement announcement last year after that guy submitted a copy of the police report. Some people just like raining on other people’s parades.

Beleaguered actress Tara Reid, 34, last made headlines for a heavily airbrushed spread in Playboy magazine’s January/February 2010 issue. Tara appeared topless but not fully nude inside. In interviews promoting the issue, Tara emphasized that the plastic surgery disasters she’s suffered - including botched liposuction and poorly done implants - have long since been fixed and she’s fine now. It’s as if her body is all she has to trade on for gigs in B movies and her lack of a career has nothing to do with her public partying and rehab attempts.
I should be nicer to Tara, she seems like a good person who has an addiction she’s coping with and is just trying to get back on her feet. It’s not like she’s in denial about her career and continuing to use like Lohan. Things are looking up for Tara lately - People Magazine reports that she’s engaged to her boyfriend, an Internet entrepreneur, who proposed during a romantic dinner:

Joining up with the Haiti relief efforts, Beyonce Knowles has just been added to the lineup for the “Hope for Haiti Now: A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief” telethon.
The massive event is set to air this Friday (January 22) at 8pm ET commercial free on MTV, VH1, ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, CNN, BET, CW, HBO, CMT, PTS, TNT, Showtime, Comedy Central, Bravo, E! Entertainment Network, National Geographic, Oxygen, G4, Centric, Current TV, Fuse, MLB Newtork, and many other networks.
Beyonce joins an already-stellar bill for the event, including her husband Jay-Z, Rihanna, Bruce Springsteen, Justin Timberlake, Taylor Swift, and Mary J. Blige.
The money raised will go to fund programs by Oxfam America, Partners in Health, Red Cross, UNICEF, and Wyclef Jean’s Yele Haiti Foundation among others.

Celebrities all over Tinseltown are chipping in and doing their part to help earthquake victims in Haiti, and Scarlett Johansson has just announced her own way of helping out.
The “In Good Company” babe is auctioning off four tickets to this Sunday’s performance of her Broadway gig “A View From the Bridge.”
In addition, the lucky winners will also get a chance to hang out with Scarlett at an exclusive meet-and-greet after the show.
The money raised from the auction will be donated to Oxfam’s Haiti Earthquake Response Fund. In addition, many other celebrities and musicians will be participating in a massive telethon on Friday evening.

When I first read the title of this article from Fox New Pop Tarts - ?Harrison Ford Opens Up About the Decline of Good Hollywood Roles? - my immediate thought was ?Harrison Ford pulls a Jessica Biel, whines about there being ?no material?.? So imagine my surprise and delight when Pop Tarts even puts a f-cking Biel quote in the article! This seriously made my day. So, anyway, Harrison is bitching about what Hollywood was like back in the good ol? days when ?the studios spent a lot of money on the development of stories and ideas and bought books and they really developed the scripts. That doesn?t happen anymore.? While I will agree that overall, the story-telling aspect of Hollywood films has declined over the years, I do think there is a more particular reason in Harrison Ford’s case.
Veteran actor Harrison Ford has only made a handful of movies over the last few years, and it’s not because he no longer loves acting ? it?s just that according to him ? Hollywood isn’t producing any quality material.
?I grew up in a system where the studios spent a lot of money on the development of stories and ideas and bought books and they really developed the scripts. That doesn?t happen anymore,? Ford told Tarts. ?Now, if you want good material you have to develop it for yourself or have a hand in the process. I have been determined to do that over the past few years.?
Ford took matters into his own hands by signing on as executive producer for the new fact-based drama ?Extraordinary Measures,? where he plays an unconventional scientist that sets out to develop a cure for Pompe disease alongside John and Aileen Crowley (Brendan Fraser and Keri Russell), whose young children are inflicted with the rare degenerative disorder.
?I was looking to develop material for myself,? Ford added. ?I saw an opportunity to tell a very positive human story and the opportunity to craft for myself a part different to what I?ve normally done and a different genre.?
However the 67-year-old ?Indiana Jones? star certainly isn?t the first to be dismayed by the caliber of Hollywood roles these days. In fact, it seems to be quite a hot topic, among both male and female actors.
?Where are the roles for the female experience from that (strong, admirable) point of view for the young college girls, mothers and grandmothers? A lot of actresses I speak to find the same thing,? actress Jessica Biel recently told us. ?We’re all scrambling for it when something good comes out that actually has a good female character.?

Now, I love Harrison. He?s made so many good movies, he?s a friggin? icon, I still have sexual fantasies about his character Jack in Working Girl, and, you know, bless his heart. But he?s old. And I?m not saying old people can?t make movies or that old people can?t make good movies (I?m seriously not saying that), but that Harrison seems to think he should still be making the same kind of films he was making 25 years ago, and no one wants to see him in those roles anymore. With Harrison, I get the feeling he?s lusting after parts going to people like George Clooney or Matt Damon. Why couldn?t Harrison reinvent himself into some Tom Wilkinson-type actor? You know, a stellar character actor and sometime leading man. Because I do miss seeing Harrison. I especially miss him acting in good movies that I want to see.
Oh, and take out the earring. I know he?s had it for a decade or whatever and I should be over it, but the thing still makes me chuckle sadly.

Stepping out to support her friend, Jennifer Lopez was spotted all dressed up at The Hotel Gansevoort in New York City on Wednesday night (January 20).
The “El Cantante” cutie donned a sexy little black dress as she mingled with fellow guests at Scott Barnes’ “About Face” book launch party at Provocateur.
Aside from her daily doings, Miss Lopez has been rumored to be a possible guest star on the Golden Globe winning show “Glee”.
The show’s creator, Ryan Murphy, told the Times, “I have a meeting with Jennifer Lopez in a couple weeks. She wants to come on. We want her to be a cafeteria lady.”
Confirming the news, executive producer Brad Falchuk later told E! News, “Discussions are ongoing and we haven’t gotten into the episode(s) she’d be appearing in.”

Seemingly ready to settle into the family life, Tara Reid has announced that she’s engaged to wed boyfriend Michael Axtmann!
According to a People magazine report, the “American Pie” actress’ beau asked her hand in marriage while dining at The Little Door restaurant on Monday night (January 18).
Tara’s rep tells, “Michael surprised Tara with a beautiful round brilliant cut ring. Tara was so happy, and the other patrons clapped and yelled out, ‘Congratulations.’”
The lovely couple have been dating for just around one year, and are said to be in the midst of plotting a small ceremony to be held by this summer.

Jennifer Lopez is in the February 2010 issue of Elle magazine and I’m liking it! Although I hardly believe these photosrepresent anything close to the orginal Jenny from the block, they are very well taken and I love the way the photographer has composed each of the shots. I think the pictures are well-weighted, and of course Jennifer Lopez makes for a great subject. Jennifer is looking really good and my hat is off to Jenny and to Elle magazine for putting together such a fabulous shoot!

Sporting a crimson-colored hairdo, the “Heroes” hottie hopped out of her new man’s ride, giving a smile and wave to paparazzi before heading into the departures terminal.
According to insiders, Miss Panettiere had extended her stay in Miami two times in order to spend more time with Wladimir in the southern Florida hotspot.
Having been spotted kissing and cuddling around the New Year’s holiday, an onlooker dished of one occasion in which Panettiere “was sitting on his lap and flirting with him all night. It seemed as if they had known each other for a while.”

Continuing to turn up together more and more often, Leonardo DiCaprio and Bar Rafaeli braved the rainy weather to go shopping in Los Angeles on Wednesday (January 20).
Both dressed casually, the “Titanic” hunk and his supermodel lady visited the local Target store, with Leo carrying a basket while loading up on household needs.
The sighting comes amidst rumors that DiCaprio may be receiving a little pressure from his mother when it comes to settling down and starting a family.
“Leo’s mother never forgave Leo for missing the boat with his ex-girlfriend, Gisele Bundchen,” a source told American tabloid the National Enquirer. Iremelin was reported telling Leo before Christmas, “You had better not let this one get away!
Dicaprio’s mother told him the deciding factor of marriage would be how well the couple’s Christmas in Cabo went. “His mother called him on New Year’s morning and said, ‘Well?’ Leo told her, ‘You’re right, as usual. I don’t want to let her go.’”
The source from the tabloid also added, “Now that he’s decided to marry Bar, Leo is planning on buying a rare canary yellow diamond ring that caught his eye recently. Bar was hoping for a ring around the holidays, but Leo thought it would be a better idea to surprise her on Valentine’s Day.”
