The ?Laguna Beach? babe teamed up with her makeup artist Carlene K and filmed the process of getting ready to hit the clubs.
Kristin?s signature look is called ?Smoke & Sparkles? and promises to help eye makeup look great all night long.
The steps include eyelid primer, neutral eye shadow, lower eye shadow, eyeliner, black eye shadow, eyelashes, lash line touch-up, mascara, contour, and lips.

Just so everyone doesn?t start yelling at me right away, let me just say a few things at the beginning. I do think Jessica Simpson is a very pretty girl. She is even what I would call a ?natural beauty? - I find she looks lovelier with little to no makeup or her usual drag queen styling. I also don?t judge Jessica for her weight fluctuations. Millions of women struggle with their weight, and Jessica might just be one of our patron saints. My judgments on Jessica are now and have always been on her general stupidity (which makes her relatively harmless, although very funny) and her consistently tacky, awful, unflattering styling. She?s a short girl with a huge rack and lots of food issues - and she?s also ?the head? of a billion-dollar fashion line. Surely, it?s not THAT difficult for her to find flattering styles?
Anyway, on to the story - The Enquirer reports in this week?s issue that Jessica wants to become a spokeswoman for a major weight loss company, like Weight Watchers or Jenny Craig. I think it?s not a terrible idea, although Jessica seems to gain and lose weight more rapidly than the average woman, and I don?t see why it has to be all ?ZOMG, get Jenny Craig? when Jessica should just go the gym more often (and stop guzzling cocktails).
Jessica Simpson is lining up a new weapon in her ongoing battle of the bulge - the blonde beauty has set her sights on an endorsement deal with a major weight-loss company. Jessica, who has been adding weight in recent months, packed on another 10 pounds over the holidays. She?s now up to about 140 pounds, says a source close to her, and Jessica wants to follow in the footsteps of Valerie Bertinelli and Jennifer Hudson, who transformed their bodies while becoming diet spokespersons.
?Jessica?s convinced that becoming an endorser for a company like Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers or Slim-Fast is her ticket to success,? an insider told The Enquirer. Hooking up with a respected diet program would be ?a win-win situation for Jessica,? the insider explained. ?Jessica wants to look her best and slimmest in her wedding gown later this year, and she desperately needs a career boost.?
The source added: ?Jessica loves inspiring women, and she thinks working for a weight-loss and diet company would help reconnect her with her core audience.?

Honey child, who is this ?core audience? you speak of? Fans of Daisy Dukes? Jessica is not my inspiration, in any way, shape or form, but if she does end up signing onto a weight loss program, I would admire her courage. Usually, it isn?t the pretty girls on the cover of Us Weekly who end up with a Jenny Craig endorsement, you know? If Jessica does do it, it?s ballsy, and it could be a smart move.
Of course, if she does do it, she?ll probably mess it up somehow. When you sign on for these endorsement deals, do you have to give the money back if you inhale an entire ham in one sitting?

She?s usually a fan of more conservative fashions, but Katie Holmes is all about being sexy in the February issue of Elle magazine.
The ?Mad Money? mommy shows off her fabulous legs and even a little bra-action in the photo spread that accompanies her cover story.
In the interview, Katie shares that her daughter Suri isn?t shy about sharing her opinion. "She'll really tell me [what she thinks]. Like today I'm wearing brown suede pants, and she said, 'I don't like your pants.'?
"The other day we came out of a store, and [Suri] said, 'I want to go in there,' pointing at another store quite a distance away. In that store was a dress that she wanted. I said, 'Wow, Suri. You're something. You picked that out from a football field away.'"

According to an inside source, the ?Girls Next Door? babe and her NFL hubby are still going strong, despite their long-distance marriage.
The pal explained, ?They are not getting divorced! They?re totally fine.? The statement comes after Kendra was suspected of consulting an attorney.
During their time apart, Kendra told press, "He?s been sending me videos. Those little mini videos from the flip camera. And Hank?s calling every few seconds saying 'Guess what I taught Hank, guess what I taught him!' It?s so cool."

In addition to the People?s Choice Awards, there was also a big event for Cover Girl. Many of the ?faces? of the brand showed up, including Drew Barrymore. Drew is wearing a strapless, full-length Jil Sander gown/dress that is puzzling me. You know how Drew has been doing a lot of 1970s-inspired looks lately? I?ve actually liked most of this stuff, and the 1970s stuff actually suits Drew rather well. I think the Jil Sander probably looked kind of floaty and cute on the rack, but Drew makes it look like a big orange sack. If this thing was in black, Angelina Jolie would have bought three of them, that?s how ?sack dress? it is. I have no idea what?s happening there at the bottom? is Drew wearing it upside-down?
Her makeup is funky too.
Guess who else was there? Sofia Vergara! Love her so much. Love the top, love her boobs, hate the black hose and low heels, though. It looks matronly.

Okay, I didn?t watch the People?s Choice Awards. I?m depending on other sites for my information. So I didn?t even know that Jennifer Aniston was there, and that she was the first presenter of the evening (she gave an award to Adam Sandler). When I was looking through Gawker, they had a post up asking what was wrong with Aniston during her presenting duties. I watched the video, and for about 10 seconds, I was all ?Nit-picking, she?s fine.? And then she slurred the word ?serious?. I mean, she says it all drunky, like ?surress?. It?s not an accent - she?s not Southern, y?all. Bitch is drunk.
Watching it the second time, you can see how she seems to slur ?laughed? as well, in addition to ending her presenting duties in a hurry, like all of us drunks know how to do: “I’mfinedon’tbotherme.” Now, the People?s Choice is not the Golden Globes. It?s not like getting hammered is absolutely mandatory to sit through the evening. I?m sure there probably is a bar or an alcohol-filled greenroom for presenters, but that doesn?t change the fact that Aniston was THE FIRST presenter. Meaning she didn?t have time to get drunk at the show, she had to have showed up at the ceremony drunk. Ah, Aniston.

It?s actually enough to make me sympathetic towards Gwyneth - she used to be a decent actress, back in the day, under specific circumstances. How the mighty have fallen, etc. Except that it?s impossible to have sympathy for Gwyneth when she?s too busy gooping about how EVERYTHING in her life is so great, and how all of her ?dear friends? are just amazing, and didn?t you hear that she recently ran into her best friend Beyonce and they were discussing her best friend Robert Downey Jr., and then Deepak Chopra and Brad Pitt came over and wasn?t that weird? Didn?t you hear, Anna Wintour just told me how they redid that castle, she stayed there with her loving husband Chris Martin, who appreciates her so much.
So, name-dropping is an art Gwyneth has mastered, and she?s been doing it through the whole press tour. The latest name-drop: Tom Cruise. Seriously, Goop? You?re going to whore out Tom Cruise?s name to help you sell your Britney Spears bender movie?
Gwyneth Paltrow has smooched some hot men on the big screen ? paging Jude Law and Brad Pitt ? but the Oscar winner has no problem picking her favorite: Tom Cruise.
“I did a little cameo once at the beginning of Austin Powers 3, I think it was, and I got to make out with Tom Cruise,” Paltrow, 38, tells the host on Friday’s Rachael Ray Show. “He was an amazing kisser!”
As for her current role in Country Strong, Paltrow confessed to some transgressions from her normally clean-living philosophy to help her get into character as an alcoholic singer.
“You just get really drunk all the time,” she says. “Which is awesome! At least I did anyway, it’s not very professional. There’s a Bloody Mary at 10 a.m. and keep it going all day!”
The thrill, she added, was stepping outside her regimented life.
“It was actually very liberating and amazing to play somebody who just didn’t think about consequences because I’m so responsible with my life, and too worried about everybody and my kids and where’s everybody going,” Paltrow says.
Aside from the daily Bloody Marys, Paltrow jokes that she’d probably only be able to perform at the Oscars “maybe with some Xanax!” But added, “I’ve learned never to say never at this point in my career. If you told me that I would’ve been playing the Country Music Awards, I would have said never.”

Is it sad? Or funny? I know Gwyneth-defenders say that she?s just a bit snooty and stuck up her own ass, but that she?s overall a good person. Maybe. Or maybe she?s just awful and completely terrible. Or something in between. I?ll buy that she?s a great mom, and that she?s in a bad marriage, and that she?s too uptight and snotty to consider a divorce, which she likely thinks is merely for peasants. I?ll also buy that her career is very funky at this point, and she might want to consider sticking to character roles or period pieces, something where she doesn?t have to be the centerpiece.

In yet another unfortunate case of life imitating art, former “My Name Is Earl” star Jamie Pressly was arrested last night on suspicion of DUl. TMZ says:
Jaime Pressly was driving in Santa Monica at around 11PM when she was stopped. Cops took notice of her vehicle after she allegedly committed a traffic violation.
A field sobriety test was performed and Jaime was arrested and booked on suspicion of DUI.
She was taken to the Santa Monica jail and held on $15,000 bail.
Whoa, whoa, whoa — fifteen grand? Any seasoned alcoholic will tell you they only set bail that high if you’re also carrying drugs or your kids in the car. So which was it?
Law enforcement [say] there were no drugs in Jaime’s car [and] no children were in the car. And there was no car accident.
The only other circumstance in which bail is set at $15,000 — the normal amount is $5,000 — is when the driver’s blood-alcohol level is higher than .15.
We have not, however, been able to confirm Jaime’s level.
For those of you who don’t drink (booooo!), a BAC of .15 is the equivalent of five glasses of wine in about an hour. Or as I like to call it, “lunch.” The good thing about having blood alcohol levels that high is that you never have to worry about getting separated from your group. If they lose you, your friends can just follow the trail of piss and puke Hansel and Gretl-style back to whoever’s bed you passed out in. That’s why the Date Rape hotline says there’s safety in numbers.

In family news, Catherine is anxiously awaiting the results of her husband Michael Douglas? bout with throat cancer.
Douglas is said to find out if he?s cancer-free sometime this month. Of his treatment, he told press, ?The level of chemo, the amount they?re giving you, combined with radiation, was the max they could do in that period of time. It?s amazing that they almost have to try and kill you to bring you back.?

The man who allegedly hacked into Miley Cyrus' email and MySpace accounts has been arrested on other charges.
According to Gossip Cop, Josh Holly was busted in Nashville for possession of unauthorized credit card account numbers after the FBI seized his computer.
In the past, Holly has reportedly bragged about hacking into the ?Party in the USA? singer?s Gmail account and stealing private photos of her.
As for his current situation, he has since been released from custody and there are no charges against Holly pertaining to Cyrus.

Adding to the number of celebrities dealing with legal issues, Jaime Pressly was arrested last night because she was suspected to be driving drunk.
The ?My Name is Earl? babe was picked up in Santa Monica around 11pm for committing a traffic violation.
Once the police pulled her over, they gave her a field sobriety test and subsequently arrested her.
From there, Pressly was taken to a Santa Monica jail on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Katie Holmes is the cover girl for the February issue of Elle Magazine. I could have sworn she was just recently the cover girl, just a few months ago. Where is it?ah, November 2009. Not as recently as I thought. But you?ll have to forgive me, because most of Katie?s interviews are the same thing - she always talks about Suri?s style, and how Suri dresses her, and then Katie goes on to talk up her own style, as if Suri gets it from her. Not so much, Kate-Bot. Suri gets her love of high heels and pretty princess fashion from her dad. Just sayin?. Anyway, I think Katie is promoting her role as Jackie Kennedy in the History Channel?s miniseries, because she talks a lot about Jackie in the interview:
Katie on Suri?s fashion sense: “She’ll really tell me what she thinks. Like today I’m wearing brown suede pants, and she said, ‘I don’t like your pants.’” Holmes explains Suri’s advice isn’t all harsh, though: “But then she’ll say, ‘You’ve got to wear these shoes.’ Or ‘That’s so pretty, Mom. Wear that.’ She’s got a great eye.”

It is startling to realize that Jackie lost baby Patrick just a few months before Jack was assassinated. I remember reading a Jackie biography years ago and figuring out how quickly those two events happened in succession. It?s no wonder Jackie was so beloved for so many years - people had tremendous sympathy for her, and she was a world-wide icon. Now, how will the zombie known as Katie Holmes do with the role of Jackie? I have no idea. Jackie didn?t talk out of the side of her mouth, I know that much. Strike one, Kate-Bot.

This is just a nice little story to cleanse your palate from yesterday?s Star Magazine cover story about Angelina Jolie needing to go to rehab (which, yes, had very little to do with heroin, despite the cover line lie). This story is about the Jolie-Pitts trip to Missouri last week, and where they went. Apparently, Angelina and Brad are Kmart shoppers. For real. Us Weekly reports that Angelina and Brad went to Kmart (with Pax and Zahara) in Springfield, Missouri, and spent about $300. Now, I?m not some kind of hardcore elitist, but even I don?t shop at Kmart. Is the Kmart in my town particularly trashy? Yes, it is. I always feel like I?m about to be stabbed just driving by the place. So what does it say about Angelina and Brad that they shop at Kmart?
Venice, Paris? Missouri? After celebrating Christmas in Namibia (and donating $2 million to an area wildlife sanctuary), globetrotting couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie rang in the new year with some very American activities.
Visiting Brad?s parents in Missouri December 27, they, along with Pax and Zahara, went on a Kmart shopping spree.
?They spent about $300 on cosmetics and toys,? says an onlooker. The next day, they hit a Barnes & Noble in Springfield with Zahara and Shiloh to buy Nook digital readers.
Upon their return to LA later in the week, their average-joe adventures continued. The brood - minus Knox and Vivienne had dinner on January 2 at tourist fave Benihana, where a chef grilled for the group tableside.

Here’s Ben Affleck getting annoyed at the paparazzi while out getting froyo in Santa Monica yesterday with his wife Jennifer Garner and their oldest daughter Violet, five. Ben is sporting a beard that we also saw during his family vacation in Hawaii over the holidays. (Photos are here. While Garner rocked a red bikini we sadly didn’t get to see Ben without his shirt on.)
I finally saw The Town over the holidays and I have to say I was blown away. Kaiser says that Affleck is a better director than he is an actor. He did play a meaty role that he might not have been able to score on his own, but we also have to give him credit for stepping aside and letting his costars, like Jeremy Renner and Jon Hamm, shine. I thought he did an excellent job, and I also found my girlhood (ok, early 20s) crush on Ben renewed. The guy is gorgeous and there’s something troubled about him, or maybe he just played that character with such subtly that I found myself thinking he was playing himself. I like Ben and I’d love to see him get an Oscar nom for best director. That’s really where his talent lies, but he’s a decent actor too.
Does he work that beard though? Hell no, the guy has a gorgeous face. Maybe he’s trying to go incognito given how much the paparazzi hound him and his family. It doesn’t look like it’s working. Shave it, Ben!

And yesterday TMZ had an absolutely hilarious story about how Lindsay ?didn?t know? she was moving in right beside the woman she?s been stalking for two years. And now Radar reports? wait? LMAO? that Lindsay wants to build a privacy fence around her property so that Sam won?t be able to ?spy or see? Lindsay. Jesus Christ, crackhead.
Lindsay Lohan wants to build a fence so new neighbor and ex-lover Sam Ronson can’t “spy or see” what’s going on inside her rehabbed actress’ beachside home, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.
Ronson was spotted looking visibly upset upon learning the Mean Girls star, 24, had moved into the Venice, California, townhouse next door from her after leaving rehab on Monday — a story first reported by RadarOnline.com.
“Trust me, it wasn’t planned,” Ronson fumed to paparazzi.
Now, RadarOnline.com has learned Lindsay is planning to build a fence between the properties, in a kind-of peace offering to the woman she dated on-and-off again from September, 2008.
Lindsay’s dad Michael was spotted at Anawalt Lumber in West Hollywood on Tuesday.
“It will give both of them some space and privacy,” one source close to Lindsay told RadarOnline.com, “and it will ensure neither of them can see or spy on each other!”

The ?Runaway Jury? actress looked cute and casual in a black knit hat, cream colored coat, and jeans as she carried Henry?s things.
Last November, Rachel and Darren announced they?d decided to call it quits on their eight year relationship after seven months of separation.
Thankfully, they?ve both decided to put their differences aside for the sake of raising their son in a healthy environment.

Is there a Friends curse? There seemed to be a Seinfeld curse until Julia Louis-Dreyfus found success with The New Adventures of Old Christine, before it was unceremoniously cancelled. Courteney Cox has a successful sitcom with Cougar Town but her private life is a mess. Jennifer Aniston can’t buy a hit movie or a boyfriend, as much as she tries. David Schwimmer is having a baby with his new half-his-age wife, but Lisa Kudrow seems totally off the radar.
At least Matthew Perry and Matt Leblanc are trying to get back into the TV game. Both have new shows coming out this winter. Matthew Perry’s show is a comedy called Mr. Sunshine.
Don’t be fooled by the title. Matthew Perry is more sardonic than cheerful in this new comedy about the self-involved manager of a San Diego arena who begins to reevaluate his life when he hits the big 4-0. The Friends alum can relate: His return to the small screen was prompted by his own stark realization.
“My phone wasn’t ringing off the hook with movie offers,” he admits.
Still, Sunshine is much more than a paycheck for Perry. Besides starring, he cocreated it and also serves as a writer and exec producer. “It’s important to try to do something you haven’t done before, especially if you’re scared of doing it,” he says of spreading his creative wings. “Luckily, I was smart enough to know you should surround yourself with funny, talented people.”
Rounding out the crack ensemble: Allison Janney as Perry’s pill-popping boss and Andrea Anders (Joey) as Perry’s former — and future? — romantic interest.
While the arena setting provides opportunity for a variety of hot guest stars — including Nick Jonas — don’t expect Perry’s former Friends to drop by, at least for now. “I wanted to convey the message that this is a new thing,” he says. “But if the show goes on for a while, I would love that.”

Mr. Sunshine sort of sounds like Chandler with a different job and new friends, but since Chandler was pretty funny, this may work. Mr. Sunshine premieres Wednesday, February 9 at 9:30PM on ABC.
Matt Leblanc is on a cable comedy called Episodes.
Matt Leblanc spent 12 years in Joey Tribbiani’s shoes — first on the classic comedy Friends, then on its not-so-classic spin-off, Joey. But on January 9, the three-time Emmy nominee returns to TV in Showtime’s Episodes as someone he’s even more familiar with…Matt Leblanc. Or at least a spoiled, morally bankrupt (and, ahem, very well-endowed) version of the actor, dreamed up for the biting Hollywood satire by cocreator (and former Friends producer) David Crane and his partner Jeffrey Klarik. LeBlanc [is] now 43 and father to 6-year-old Marina.
How did Episodes happen?
After Friends, David and I kept in touch, and about two years ago, he and Jeffrey called me up and said, “What are you doing?” I said, “Just being a dad — and spending some of that Friends money.” They were like, “We have an idea. Let’s get together for lunch.” I said, “Great.” But I really wasn’t looking to do anything.
Why not?
When Joey ended [in 2006], it was a weird time in my life. I’d gotten divorced, and my daughter had been diagnosed with this weird brain thing [a disorder that caused seizures]. Now she’s out of the woods with all that stuff. But it was a really stressful time.
Now your hair is a distinguished gray.
I started going gray very young, and I started dyeing my hair during Friends. But after taking five years off, I was like, “What’s the point?”
Unlike the Matt in the show, you don’t…what?
Leave my phone on in a meeting. The only time I’d [do that] is if there was something important pending with a family member. I don’t have my own jet. I would love to, but I don’t. And I’ll set the record straight: I have a perfectly human-proportioned penis. [The character] is less who I am and more the public’s perception of celebrity. That’s the guy we tried to write.
There continue to be rumors of a Friends reunion. Do you want it to happen?
No. I’d rather have a party and have everybody [from the cast] there. Friends was this magical, cool thing, like lightning in a bottle, and I feel superfortunate to have been a part of it. But I can’t see [a reunion] not feeling gratuitous. What would the story be? We all get together and what? Have coffee? It would be almost sad. It’s better to just imagine what those characters are doing now, because then it can be whatever you want it to be.

Matt has let himself go grey for this role, and it will be interesting to see him as someone other than Joey. The show is getting pretty decent reviews. Entertainment Weekly called LeBlanc “superb.”
I wish they would have asked LeBlanc if any of the Friends actors will be appearing on Episodes, like they did with Matt Perry. Episodes sounds like a good fit for Schwimmer or Kudrow to make a guest spot, playing themselves.
Episodes premieres Sunday, January 9 at 9:30PM on Showtime.

It’s pretty much common knowledge that Helen Mirren is the coolest Dame around (sorry, Judy Dench). She always looks great, she has Russell Brand worshiping at her feet, and occasionally she says some dingbat stuff that makes you wonder if she’s sniffing glue.
But how can you stay mad at a 65-year-old woman who says her secret to red-carpet success is stripper heels?
My red-carpet secret is…The stripper shoes I buy on Hollywood Boulevard: 10-inch heels with 5-inch platforms. They make your legs look wonderful.
If I weren’t acting…I’d be a hairdresser. I have a bit of a Delilah complex. I love to cut people’s hair! Unfortunately my husband won’t let me cut his.
I would love to work with…Quentin Tarantino. He is a superb filmmaker, visceral and fantastic. The two Kill Bill films were brilliant.
I am most afraid of…Plastic bottles. Their proliferation is terrifying. They won’t go away, and people are not getting the message. We’re destroying the bloody planet!
My style icon is…Helena Bonham Carter. She’s unique, bohemian, and inventive. I also love Lady Gaga’s radical use of fashion.
My biggest splurge is…an old farmhouse in southern Italy that my husband and I are renovating. That’s one reason why I buy drugstore makeup — I spend $5 on mascara and $5 million on a ruin!
Crowning glory…When I was first nominated for an Oscar, I made the mistake of treating it like a British wedding and thought a hat appropriate. Still, I think it’s sad that Americans don’t wear hats!

How cool would it be to see Helen Mirren as Lady Gaga in “The Lady Gaga Story,” directed by Quentin Tarantino and co-starring Helena Bonham Carter as Katy Perry? Russell Brand could play himself. Until then, I guess we’ll have to settle for Helen and Russell in the Arthur remake, which I also think is brilliant casting.
Note by CB: We couldn’t actually find any photos of Helen wearing said stripper heels. She’s talked about this before, and Kaiser and I think that she just means regular high heels. She’s a strange one.

James Franco is on one of Entertainment Weekly?s Oscar Preview covers - not only because he?s one of the Oscar hosts this year, but because he?s likely going to be an Oscar contender, for 127 Hours. My opinion of Franco has drastically changed over the course of the past year. I started out really liking him, and then at some point, I just started finding him exhausting. He pisses me off - he?s a wonderful actor, one of the best of his generation, and he pisses it away too often in his attempts to be Too Much. He?s not just Franco The Actor. He wants to be Franco The Writer, Franco The Artist, Franco The Provocateur. Eh. He?s not provocative, he just seems like an emo teenager with ?so much to say? only his poetry reads like lyrics from The Cure, you know? And Franco?s writing sucks. Whatever.
But still, I have lingering attatchment to Franco, because I keep hoping he grows out of the ?Dirtlip As Performance Art? phase. And interviews like this EW piece certainly help - James talks about sexuality, identity politics and performance with a lot of depth and authenticity here:
?Is James Franco gay?? is a favorite query of the pop-cultural chattering classes. It?s not like it?s unique to him: Having the public ponder your sexuality is a celebrity rite of passage. But the thing that makes Franco?s case so interesting is that, unlike the loud denials from some stars and even louder silences from others, the response from the 127 Hours star (who, for the record, has been in a years-long relationship with actress Ahna O?Reilly) is actually pretty nuanced. Franco addressed the rumor-mill mentality in an exclusive interview with EW for our recent cover story.
?It?s funny because the way that kind of stuff is talked about on blogs is so black-and-white,? Franco says. ?It?s all cut-and-dry identity politics. ?Is he straight or is he gay?? Or, ?This is your third gay movie ? come out already!? And all based on, gay or straight, based on the idea that your object of affection decides your sexuality.?
The actor definitely doesn?t let the speculation inhibit his choice of roles; Franco?s filmography is packed with gay characters, from Allen Ginsberg in Howl, to activist Scott Smith in Milk and poet Hart Crane in his just-wrapped feature The Broken Tower.
?There are lots of other reasons to be interested in gay characters than wanting myself to go out and have sex with guys,? he says. ?And there are also lots of other aspects about these characters that I?m interested in, in addition to their sexuality. So, in some ways it?s coincidental, in other ways it?s not. I mean, I?ve played a gay man who?s living in the ?60s and ?70s, a gay man who we depicted in the ?50s, and one being in the ?20s. And those were all periods when to be gay, at least being gay in public, was much more difficult. Part of what I?m interested in is how these people who were living anti-normative lifestyles contended with opposition. Or, you know what, maybe I?m just gay.?

Not a denial, not a confirmation, but a genuine conversation about being a straight actor drawn to playing gay men. It would be wonderful to see someone like Tom Cruise or John Travolta talk about performance and sexuality like this. But they won?t. See - Franco is a wonderful actor. These are some new photos of Rachel Weisz and her ex-fianc Darren Aronofsky in NYC on Wednesday. That?s their son Henry, aged four. The body language is interesting, isn?t it? I interpret it as: Darren is kind of pissed at Rachel, because he suspects that her relationship with Daniel Craig isn?t quite as ?whirlwind? as she claims, and that Daniel and Rachel were indeed screwing around with each other while Rachel was still technically with Darren. I also think that since Darren and Rachel are out and about with their son, that perhaps this is an attempt by both to put their son first, no matter how pissy they are with each other. For her part, I read Rachel?s body language as apologetic, and even slightly submissive, like she?s all ?You can be as angry as you want. I did a crappy thing. I?ll just hang back a bit. I?m sorry.?
Us Weekly has an interesting little story about this uncool Bermuda Triangle, with Darren cast as The Aniston. According to their sources, Darren was taken aback by Rachel and Daniel relationship, and Darren is ?devastated?.
Bond?s got a new girl! Rachel Weisz, 39, and her 007 hunk Daniel Craig, 42, only had eyes for each other as they shopped for fruits and veggies in the snowy English town of Dorset on Christmas Eve.
?Rachel was laughing at everything he said,? an eyewitness tells Us of the couple, who costar in Dream House. And they clearly liked being close.
?At one point, when Daniel was putting his phone back in his pocket, Rachel reached for his hand again,? says the bystander.

It?s a very age appropriate pairing, and I really do appreciate that. I also like the way they look together - he?s all craggy and blonde and James Bond, and she?s all dark hair and ivory skin loveliness. Damn…poor Darren! I do feel for the guy.

Natalie Portman is pregnant, engaged, and one of the leading contenders for this year?s Best Actress Oscar. Is it fair to rake her over the coals? Eh. While I?m not her biggest fan, I?m not hugely interested in (metaphorically) beating up on a pregnant woman. Do you sense a big caveat coming? Of course. Considering Natalie?s pregnancy-and-engagement announcement took most people by surprise, the tabloids are doing what they love to do - digging up dirt on someone new. Us Weekly has an interesting story on Natalie and her beloved, Benjamin Millepied, in this week?s issue. Their sources confirm many of the rumors we?ve already heard about Benjamin - that he was very much involved with a dancer when he met Natalie, and that there was some overlap in the two relationships. Us Weekly?s sources also give the impression that Benjamin is, in fact, a fame-hungry star-f-cker who is looking to build a career on his association with Natalie. One more thing - the pregnancy wasn?t planned, and Benjamin only proposed after Natalie got pregnant.
One year ago, Natalie Portman ran in the new year with her new boyfriend, Benjamin Millepied, at a private party in New York City.
?At midnight, they kissed for a long time on the dance floor,? an attendee tells Us Weekly.
Fast-forward one year, and she has two more reasons to smile: she?s pregnant and engaged.
?The pregnancy was a bit of a shock,? says a Portman source, adding that she?s three months along. ?He proposed after they found out. They are happy, and all is right.?
But the fairy tale may not be as idyllic as it appears. Insiders say Millepied, a noted ladies man, was still involved with his live-in love, ballerina Isabella Boylston, when he met Portman.
?When he started dating Natalie, he dropped Isabella,? says a source. Indeed, another source says Boylston learned of the on-set affair before Millepied could tell her.
?She was upset,? says the ballet insider. ?Their breakup was bitter.?
A pattern? A source recalls that just a few years ago Millepied persuaded a Danish dancer to move to NYC, only to leave her for another dancer. But the Portman source insists no one stole anyone: ?He fell in love with someone else. He pursued Natalie. That was on him.?
From the moment Millepied met Portman, he was smitten.
?It was seductive to watch them,? says a source on the Black Swan set. ?There was no way the attraction could be missed. I don?t think he could help himself - she?s dazzling!?
As for Portman, she was struck by the dancer as well. ?She?s into artsy, smart guys, and he?s an artsy, smart guy,? says the Portman source. However, some worry that Millepied is a little too eager to go Hollywood.
?He could be using Natalie to move up the fame ladder,? says a Millepied source. Meanwhile, others say he has turned over a new leaf.
