Finished picking up the essentials, Ashley Greene was spotted leaving Trader Joe's with a large brown paper bag in West Hollywood, California on Thursday (June 14).
Walking alongside a friend, the "Twilight" star showed off her slender figure in a long, clingy grey sweater that she wore over black leggings with studded black boots and dark sunglasses.
Ashley's shopping outing comes the day after hosting the 14th annual Young Hollywood Awards in Hollywood, California - where she won the coveted Female Superstar of Tomorrow Award.
To top it off, right after the awards ceremony the 25-year-old tweeted, "Wow... What a crazy night... I had so much fun hosting the YHA and then found out that I was nominated for a TCA".
Ashley landed a Teen Choice Award for the Female category of Choice Movie Scene Stealer, putting her up against "Twilight" co-star Nikki Reed as well as "The Hunger Games" Elizabeth Banks, "New Year's Eve" Lea Michele and "Men In Black 3" Nicole Scherzinger.
The Teen Choice Awards airs Sunday July 22 on FOX at 8p.m. ET.

After grabbing a bag of sushi, "The Vow" actress made her way to the waiting train wearing a loose green sweater with jeans and brown boots as she prepared to take on the first day of filming.
Rachel assembled with her co-stars and crew to shoot scenes on a moving train from London to Bristol, where she will star as Mary in the new Richard Curtis film.
The 33-year-old actress has replaced Zooey Deschanel who was originally cast as the leading role but had to drop out because of scheduling conflicts.
Expected to hit theaters some time in 2013, the time-travel romance also stars Domhnall Gleeson, Bill Nighy, Tom Hollander, Margot Robbie, Lydia Wilson and Vanessa Kirby.

Cuddling up with her man, Ashlee Simpson was spotted climbing into a black limo with her son, Bronx, after jetting into LAX airport in Los Angeles, California on Friday (June 14).
The "Pieces of Me" singer carried Bronx in front of her while strutting to the waiting limo in a pair of flip-flops, jeans and a black cardigan while her little man's curly blonde locks bounced on his light blue tee-shirt that he wore with khaki shorts.
It seems Ashley is loving every second of being a new aunt to her sister Jessica Simpson'sdaughter Maxwell Drew, but recently admitted she's a little jealous of her niece.
"She is definitely spoiled," the 27-year-old recently told Us Weekly, "You should see her closet! I'm like, 'God I wish I had your closet!' Her closet is beautiful."
Ashlee also talked about her older sister's transition into motherhood saying, "I am so proud of her! There were small things here and there [I advised her on] that you ask your friends and other mothers [about] but other than that, she's great."
As for when Jess will tie the knot with her fiance, Eric Johnson, a source explains, "She won't walk down the aisle until she's back in good enough shape that she'll look great in the wedding dress she wants".
Hopefully she'll be able to shed the pounds quickly after signing a $4 million Weight Watchers deal to help her lose the weight.

Getting ready to jet off to his next destination, Brad Pitt was spotted getting on a private jet in Kassel, Germany on Friday (June 14).
With his long hair pulled back into a messy ponytail, the "Fight Club" stud rode into the airport in a black Audi SUV wearing a white shirt unbuttoned exposing his chest with light grey pants and before climbing into the jet he took a few moments to greet and take pictures with airport staff and the boarder police.
Just a few hours before catching his flight, Brad was spotted at "Documenta" in Kassel which is an art-exhibition that focuses on modern and contemporary art.
On a personal note, Pitt recently reiterated the fact that his and wife-to-be, Angelina Jolie have yet to pick a time for their upcoming nuptials, telling press, "We truly have no date. I'm still hoping we'll figure out our marriage equality in the States before then', Pitt said referring to the debate in the US over same sex marriage.

All morning, I?ve been reading all about Sarah Jessica Parker and Anna Wintour?s fundraiser for President Obama. Is it really that unusual for celebrities to host a fundraiser for Obama? Media outlets are going kind of crazy about it, that?s why I ask. At the end of the day, I think less than 50 people were at the fundraiser (not including Secret Service) – so why is it such a big deal? Because the fundraiser took place in SJP?s West Village townhouse, and because Anna Wintour (a ?bundler? for Obama) was the co-host of the event. New York Magazine had a great piece on what was going down outside of the fundraiser – well-heeled chaos, basically, in which some very rich people couldn?t shop for their wine. There was also this great story about a potential bitch-fight between SJP and Wintour:
Vogue editor and aspiring diplomat Anna Wintour added the role of interior decorator-in-chief to her titles this week by overseeing a decor overhaul at Sarah Jessica Parker?s luxe home before President Obama?s visit. Wintour ? who?s reportedly in the running for the US ambassadorship to Britain ? was photographed with her daughter Bee Shaffer paying a visit to Parker and Matthew Broderick?s West Village townhouse just as movers were hauling furniture in and out to prep for yesterday?s $80,000-per-couple fund-raiser hosted by Wintour and the ?Sex and the City? star.
Sources said the fashion oracle wanted to clean out SJP?s ?shabby chic? furniture. One told us, ?Anna was going crazy about the decorating. She was having a lot furniture removed and sending all of SJP?s tchotchkes upstairs.
?Some of the stuff in the house was shabby chic, and let?s just say, Anna wanted less shabby, and more chic,? the source added.
While Wintour, known for her painstaking planning of events like the meticulous Met Ball, was at Parker?s place Monday, movers lugged in a piano. Parker was reportedly strolling nearby with her kids and a nanny. After Anna?s work was done, sources said Parker and her brood had to adjust their routines.
?They?ve had to live upstairs in the house,? said a source. ?It?s not like this is an event at the Trump SoHo ? it?s the place where [Parker] feeds her kids.?
A small battalion of cleaners was spotted scrubbing door handles and windows outside the house. Yesterday, dozens of plump, white roses were delivered along with rental chairs, and a gardener planted mini- ferns out front. But a source close to Wintour downplayed her dcor directions, telling us, ?Anna didn?t decide the dcor. That was done in a meeting without her. Those pictures were just her walking into [the] house for her meeting. Furniture was being brought in and out, but not for Anna?s benefit to preside over, They were in prep mode.? Reps for Wintour and Parker had no comment.

The other side is going to spend $500 million with a very simple message, which is: ‘You’re frustrated, you’re disappointed, and it’s the fault of the guy in the White House.’ And that’s an elegant message. It happens to be wrong. But it’s crisp. You can fit it on a bumper sticker. We’re going to have to work hard in this election. We’re going to have to work harder than we did in 2008.”
Barack later joked that “most of you are here to see Michelle. I always explain I rank fifth in the hierarchy in the White House: There’s Michelle, my mother-in-law, the two girls and Bo. So that actually makes it six. In terms of star wattage, people come to the White House and say, ‘Where’s Michelle?’ Some of you know that Michelle had some skepticism about a life in politics. I think that’s well-known. And so the grace and the strength and the poise and the warmth that she has brought to an extraordinarily difficult task as First Lady and still being the best mom couldn’t make me prouder. I’m very pleased she’s here. This is sort of our date night.”
When Barack later mentioned that GM is “back on top,” Parker and Broderick’s 9-year-old son, James Wilkie, started clapping impromptu. “That’s worth applauding,” Barack grinned as the guests laughed and joined in. “Right on cue.”

That?s cute about James Wilkie clapping. SJP was really proud that she was hostessing too, and during her introductory speech, she praised Michelle Obama as “radiant and extraordinary? You’ve done amazing important things these past four years. . . I very much look forward to the things you’re going to accomplish in the next four years.”
After the event, the Obamas headed to another fundraiser at the Plaza Hotel, where Mariah Carey and Alicia Keys performed. All in all, Obama raised a lot of money last night.

Cruz replied, ?I was so nervous but I?m still nervous- I think I?ve been here ten times and you?re always so nice to me.?
As for her strong personality growing up, Penelope shared her parents? commentary on dealing with her. ?They say I was very difficult and there was no way to make me listen. But I have changed. I don?t think I am as stubborn [anymore].?

One month after giving birth to her second child, Noah Phoenix, Alessandra is back to working out to prepare for jobs she lined up during her pregnancy.
The 31-year-old Brazilian beauty tweeted last week, "First day of exercising feels good, but It's not easy!! (at Santa Monica Stairs)".
Although she's probably making several mom's jealous of her post-baby bod, Alessandra is determined to get her sculpted abs back admitting that during her pregnancy, "I told my booker and my manager; ?I know I have a job to do, so just book the jobs and hopefully it?ll be fine.?"

LeAnn?s ex-husband, Dean Sheremet, tweeted about his grandmother?s passing. LeAnn first tweeted, ?@Deansheremet I?m so sorry. She looks so beautiful here, always did. Surreal, I hope you are ok. I can?t imagine.? Then she followed up with:

Brandi never responded – at least not on Twitter. If I was Brandi, I would have just sent it to my lawyer. Some days, I can’t even believe LeAnn has the nerve. Anyway, LeAnn was unstoppable all day yesterday and Wednesday – and you know why? Because LeAnn has put herself in charge of Father?s Day AND Eddie?s birthday, which is tomorrow. I wonder what LeAnn bought Eddie for his birthday? You know that man loves his toys. He likes having his lady provide for him. So it should be epic.

Earlier this week, Kaiser covered Rihanna “look at my nips” outfit in New York City and concluded that while Rihanna is pretty damn narcissistic, she also needs to take a break from everything. Let’s face it — the girl is in need of a long nap (among other things). Rihanna herself has given a new interview where she discusses how her fluctuating weight — higher last summer and lower just a few months later — and how she ended up in the ER after the Met Gala simply because she didn’t get any sleep the night before. Allegedly, Rihanna’s weight loss is also all down to stress, but unfortunately, she says that her schedule will not let up anytime soon. Riri’s got two more movies scheduled before she starts touring again next year. Also, she claims to hate her new size zero ass:

The unattached, “Where Have You Been” singer, 24, is at work on her seventh CD — and trying to squeeze in some more zzz’s! Recently, she opened up to Us Weekly about her jam-packed calendar — and the effect it’s having on that famous beach bod.
Recently, the pop diva made the leap from the recording studio to the big screen with her star turn in Battleship. “I want to do two more [movies] before touring again next year,” Rihanna gushed to Us of her filming experience, even though, “My schedule is crazy!”
So crazy, in fact, that the Barbados-born beauty was hospitalized for fatigue following her appearance at the Met Ball last month, where she stunned in a black, reptile-inspired Tom Ford gown.
“I got no sleep [beforehand],: Rihanna explained. “It’s harsh on your body!”
Her hospitalization — and her shrinking bod — have some fans fretting that she’s dealing with something more serious, though Rihanna assures Us her nonstop schedule is the only thing to blame.
“I’m a size 0 — and not happy about it!” she says. “I went way too far. I prefer myself a bit chunkier. I want my old butt back!”

If you do a search for Rihanna’s height on Google, the immediate answer that pops up is 5’8? — which is one inch shorter than my height. I’ve never been a size zero and cannot imagine how little one would have to weigh to be a size zero at this height. In fact, at my very lowest weight, I was a size four and about 115 pounds, and my relatives honestly wanted to commit me to an eating disorder clinic based on appearance alone. The fact of the matter is that, while I obviously wasn’t an international pop star, I was tearing my hair out over graduate school (and other circumstances) and food just didn’t appeal to me. Sooo … I get the notion of stress as a (sometimes unintended) method of weight loss, but I don’t think that’s the case with Rihanna. Earlier this year, she was tweeting photos of her hot personal chef, who presumably whips up low-cal meals for her on the road. I also honestly don’t think that Rihanna is a size zero now. She’s small, yes. But she’s not emaciated.
To recap Rihanna’s butt situation, here it is last August in Barbados.
And here’s Rihanna’s butt in January in Hawaii. There’s a definite difference, but I don’t think she was a size 0 at that point, and I don’t think she is now either.

I can?t keep up with all of the film festivals these days – I thought the Los Angeles Film Festival didn?t happen until October or November? But maybe I?m thinking about the AFI Film Fest or something? Anyway, last night the LA Film Festival began with the premiere of Woody Allen?s new movie, To Rome With Love. Penelope Cruz stars in the film – this is her second collaboration with Woody, I believe. The first collaboration was Vicky Christina Barcelona, and Penelope ended up winning a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for the role. In that film, she played a crazy, temperamental, bisexual artist. In this film, Penelope plays a hooker. Because Woody Allen writes so well for women.
Anyway, Penelope wore this Michael Kors which is? okay. I?m not in love with the color, but it?s not bad on Penelope with her beautiful, dark coloring. On a blonde, it would look like oatmeal fug. On the red carpet, Woody was asked about his recent ?dinner? with Lindsay Lohan, and he said this: ?I wouldn’t hesitate to use her in a movie because she’s a very talented girl. The ?Entrapment? actress was in the house to plug her new movie ?Rock of Ages,? and chatted with Jon Stewart about her life as an actress.
Catherine began, ?I can never remember not wanting to perform and be on stage. I hadn?t even thought about doing TV because I did TV in Britain before I came to the States to do film.?
?It was being on the stage, and it wasn?t even to be famous. People ask me if my mom was a stage mom like those horrifying mothers you see on that [Stage Mom] show. And thank God she wasn?t. It was them trying to stop me if anything.?

January Jones was known for her ice-cold vanilla bitchery, on and off screen for several years. My take: January had so much success with the ?Betty Draper? character because that was close to who she is – somewhat superficial, bitchy, vapid. But! My feelings towards January changed when she got knocked up by a mystery man and gave birth to an oddly adorable gingery baby. January really does seem ?softer? now – and I?m referencing her personality. Maybe she?s not actually nicer (or maybe she was never as big of a bitch as people claimed), but there was a change, both in her and in public perceptions of her. Anyway, Star Magazine claimed that January has reverted to her ice-cold bitchy ways by Mean Girl-ing the new ?pretty girl? of Mad Men, Jessica Par. I?m not sure if I believe it.
Jessica Par catapulted to fame after her Mad Men character, Megan, said ?I do? to Don Draper and serenaded him with a saucy rendition of ?Zou Bisou Bisou? during the season-five premiere. But January Jones has been left green with envy.
?January is furious because she pretty much has no story line this season, not to mention that she has to wear a fat suit!? a source tells Star. ?Meanwhile, Jessica is an overnight sensation.?
And January isn?t hiding her feelings. ?January is so completely jealous that she has been treating Jessica like complete crap,? the source explains. ?January feels like she used to be the sexy star of the show and now she?s been downgraded – and it?s really upsetting to her. Plus, she feels downright gross in the fat suit and boring makeup.?
But January has only herself to blame for her on-set situation.
?January had a horrible attitude while shooting,? claims the source. ?Now, hopefully, she?ll change her behavior before it?s too late.?

Did January really have a ?horrible attitude?? I?ve never heard that. I don?t think she?s BFFs with her Mad Men costars, but it?s not like everyone was badmouthing her. As for the fat-suit thing – she was still pregnant when they began filming the fifth season, and Fat Betty was Matthew Weiner?s solution to the issue. I?ve read interviews with January where she made it clear that she was simply happy to be included in this season of Mad Men too, so I don?t think she was plotting away against Jessica.
Now, let?s take a moment and discuss Jessica?s new status as ?It Girl? – I think it will fade. The Megan character had some great moments throughout the season, but the reviews for Jessica are mixed, to say the least. I think Jessica hopes she?ll get a major boost from Mad Men, but I have my doubts as to whether she?ll be able to deliver much beyond the show. We?ll see.

Here’s a reminder of how Scarlett Johansson looked on a Hawaiian vacation in February while she showed off her bikini bod and her new (at the time) man, Nate Naylor (the most beautiful man in the universe), rubbed suntan lotion on his back. Since then and despite a glowing People profile, Nate has failed to win over many fans due to some alleged violent tendencies and possible juvenile behavior, and it turns out he may not be very good at doing much for his girlfriend beyond protecting her from a sunburn. According to a story in this week’s Star, Nate failed to step up for Scarlett when she needed his help fending off advances from some idiot in a nightclub. What a chump:

The Avengers star and her boyfriend recently attempted to enjoy an evening at hip New York nightclub The Electric Room, but an out-of-control male fan upset the A-list actress. “He just kept throwing his body toward her, dancing wildly, trying to talk to her and get her attention,” an onlooker told Star. “He was relentless!”
The 27-year-old actress was “visibly frustrated,” but Nate, 38, “watched like a deer in healights,” the source revealed. Finally, Scarlett, in true Avenger form, “jumped up and alerted security, who built a wall of buff bouncers between the sexy movie actress and the threatening fan.”

It sounds like Nate might not be such a fantastic catch after all, right? I can see why Scarlett would want to date a relative civilian after exclusively being with famous dudes for many years, but she might want to give this guy up and find one who will actually defend her honor instead of sitting there like a lump while some random idiot gets all up in her personal space.
In other ScarJo news, she’s pulling the “deluded actress” card by not only whining about her desire for “anonymity” but also claiming that all that really matters to her is acting, not the other fame-associated stuff that goes along with the profession of appearing in blockbuster movies:

The actress has grown tired of being referred to as a sex bomb and wants to be known for her acting rather than her appearance. That said she is proud of the way she looks and hopes to be a role model to other women because of her career success.
“Sometimes yes, sometimes no!” she laughed, when Grazia Italia asked if she ever thinks she is amazing. “I also think there are so many wonderful women out there, and they aren’t even actresses! I don’t like being labelled as ‘the sexiest woman alive’. As an actress I prefer to maintain the anonymity.”
The star is divorced from Ryan Reynolds and is now dating again. Although she understands her love life is of interest to some people, Scarlett longs for the day when all that matters is her job.
“I don’t talk about my private relationships anymore? I often read many things and don’t even recognise myself in what was written. I dream that people stay far away from my private life, but I bet that it will be always a dream?” she said.
The 27-year-old loves everything about her job, explaining there is no better feeling than when she gets a scene just right.
“I can’t imagine having a job that makes me happier than acting. I adore my job, especially when you hear the director shouting, ‘OK! We have the scene!’ This is so satisfying!” she gushed.

I hear what Scarlett is saying, but she’s not articulating her position very well. It must suck to go through a (necessarily painful) divorce and have the public weigh in on what could have happened within the marriage. Still, it’s kind of annoying when a multi-millionaire repeatedly discusses how she’s just all about the acting when, if that was the case, she could have decided to just do theater for a career instead of showing off her jiggly rack on the big screen.

You know I?m not currently a member of The Kate Winslet Fan Club, but as I read this story in Radar/Star Magazine, I did feel a surge of sympathy for Winslet. The story actually reminds me of a tabloid story about Meryl Streep that we covered a few months ago – remember how one of Meryl?s Connecticut neighbors was all ?OMG, Meryl is such a bitch!!?? That?s what this is like. Kate Winslet is working on a film in Massachusetts – I?m including some photos of her at work (with Ned RockNRoll in tow). Apparently, Winslet isn?t super-friendly with the residents of this small town. So now the locals are flocking to the tabloids to bitch about Winslet.
The real Kate Winslet may not be nearly as sweet as her on screen persona! Kate rudely snubbed her adoring fans in the small town of Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts recently while shooting her new movie Labor Day and Star magazine has exclusive details about her shockingly bad behavior.
“Kate was so rude, she never once acknowledged any of us, I was devastated,” hopeful fan Shanna Swan told Star. “She gave dirty looks to people in my town who waited hours to see her.”
Shanna grew up in the small town and has been a huge fan of Kate?s since she was a child and said the actress was received with open arms from the town?s people. “Upon her arrival everyone was yelling ?Kate we love you!? and you could hear everyone gasping with excitement when her black Cadillac pulled up.”
She said she had been waiting in the rainy cold weather with her young children to see the Oscar winning actress and was surprised when Kate refused to acknowledge the crowd of fans.
?I could feel and hear the excitement of everyone around me saying ?OMG is that Kate? When is she coming?? and there were lots of excited senior citizens. I witnessed several seniors asking the production staff if Kate would come and talk to fans and there were roughly 100 people waiting for her.”
Unfortunately, Shanna said Kate refused to look at the crowd and completely ignored everyone waiting to meet her.
?She always plays such warm people on the big screen, I thought she would be kind, so when she was mean, I was crushed,? Shanna said. ?I watched The Titantic 13 times when I was 12 years old, and Kate wouldn?t even look up for a second to acknowledge we were all adoring her.?
“Everyone in town was really hurt, and I could hear people calling her name. After she took off, one lady right next to me specifically said, ?Wow. How rude was that??”
Now everyone in the small town is talking about Kate’s behavior, “She was just plain nasty. Kate was only on set for a short time and jumped back in her Cadillac and took off, without even a wave or thank you or a smile for us.”
“This was the first celebrity I’ve seen in my lifetime, and sadly the experience was hurtful to me and my entire town. Kate Winslet really left a bitter taste in our mouths.”

So Kate is a massive bitch for just putting her head down and going to work rather than glad-handing the populace like a politician? She?s not running for office – she isn?t required to spend time with random people milling about. That being said? she could have spent some time with the locals, but I think the problem is bad staff work on the part of the film production and Team Winslet. Surely a producer or an assistant would have mentioned to Kate, ?Hey, can you just go over there and sign a few autographs and smile for some photos? It would go a long way towards keeping the peace.? But whatever. I don?t care for Kate, but this isn?t adding any fuel to my fire.

Demi Moore just finished a stint in rehab earlier this year, but her daughters and friends are on the verge of staging another intervention because she’s “spiraling out of control” again. Radar Online says:
?Rumer, Scout and Tallulah are so concerned about their mom that they?re considering if they should stage an intervention,? a source close to the girls [revealed].
?They don?t know what to do to help her, and they?re starting to wonder if she needs help again.?
Demi?s behavior remains erratic and similar to before she went into rehab earlier this year, the girls want to make sure she doesn?t have a relapse.
?Demi has been doing things that make them worry that maybe she isn?t staying sober and they?re not happy about her behavior.”
And on top of everything, she’s been neglecting to take her calcium supplements. With an estimated 44 million Americans over the age of 50 already suffering from osteoporosis, low bone density just isn’t Demi needs to be taking.

Opening up the annual cinema celebration, the cast of ?To Rome with Love" joined together for their movie's Los Angeles Film Festival premiere on Thursday night (June 14).
Held at Regal Cinemas L.A. LIVE Stadium 14, director Woody Allen and wife Soon-Yi Previn were alongside the comedy caper's leading lady Penelope Cruz, as well as co-stars Alison Pill and Greta Gerwig.
As for the movie, ?To Rome with Love? is described as "a story about a number of people in Italy, some American, some Italian, some residents, some visitors, and the romances and adventures and predicaments they get into."
Also starring Jesse Eisenberg, Alec Baldwin, Carol Alt and Roberto Benigni, Woody's latest production is slated to see a limited release in the States beginning June 22nd.

During a press conference in Taiwan, Katie revealed her fitness efforts in which she uses to knock off the calories, as she said, ?You know I like to run, I like to ride my bike, dancing, doing yoga, swimming," adding, "Not all at once and not all in the same day.?
The brunette beauty added that the kitchen is one of her preferred places to unwind, explaining, ?I like cooking, making healthy things, well sometimes healthy, and sometimes not, but I don?t stress out about it too much.?

Earlier in the day, Eva slipped into a plunging and short Pink beaded cocktail dress to meet Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene on the Monte Carlo TV festival grounds.
During the royal gathering, the 37-year-old tweeted a picture of herself (in the tiny dress) raising her arms and one leg into the air while captioning the pic, "At the palace in Monte Carlo acting crazy!"
Eva has been on hand at the Monte Carlo Television festivities since Monday (June 11), partaking in events including a photocall for her just-concluded series "Desperate Housewives".

On-set of her latest film, Jennie Garth was spotted touching up her makeup and doing a little shopping while waiting to shoot the next scene for "The Eleventh Victim" in Vancouver, Canada earlier this week.
In a sheer white top and black pencil skirt, the former "Beverly Hills, 90210" star strutted around on-set in a pair of black flip flops which revealed her dark pedicure toenails before pulling on a trench coat to do a little shopping at an antique store.
As for what she decided to buy, Jennie told her Twitter fans, "I just bought the a little antique glass bird in Fort Langly BC. Oh the things I can do waiting for the camera guys 2 get ready!"
Back to Miss Garth's new gig, she nabbed the role of the lead character in "The Eleventh Victim" - which is a Lifetime movie adapted from HLN personality Nancy Grace's first novel.
