Written and directed by David Michod, the forthcoming project will also be produced by the ?Fight Club? stud and his Plan B partners Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner, so it?s safe to say it?s going to be good.
?The Operators? will be based on the book by Michael Hastings, dealing with the high-profile military career of General Stanley McChrystal.
And of course, there will be plenty of backroom deals, political wrangling and inside moves to shed light on the unseen realm of wartime practices.

Varvatos said he hoped to raise $1.3 million to go towards the Stuart House, a program at Santa Monica-UCLA Medical Center’s rape treatment center for sexually abused children.

?There were a lot of details that I had used on dresses I had made. It was a really great collaboration with Tommy [Hilfiger] because he has so much experience, he?s such a great mentor, he had so many great ideas. And then he was really collaborative and he let me put my own spin on everything.?

Rihanna rolled out of bed to attend last night’s MTV Movie awards. She wore a flowing Ulyana Sergeenko couture ensemble. This looks like a sexy pajama outfit, but I’m pretty sure Rihanna wears nothing in the sack. The good thing about Rihanna is that she can wear anything and absolutely own it. This off-white bodysuit with a Pink robe would look monstrous on anyone else, but RiRi somehow pulls it off. Her smoky makeup and curly updo also beckoned the world into her bedroom. She finished off the look with Manolo Blahnik shoes and plenty of diamonds.
Rihanna won the Best Cameo award for This is the End. She and Eminem also gave a great debut performance of Monster. I always love their duets, and this song is good preview of their their upcoming tour. You do know Em has the biggest crush in the world on Rihanna, right? He’s been talking about it for years.
Shailene Woodley went wacky and chose a funky Balmain ensemble (including strappy black Balmain sandals). The army-green leather was unusual but appropriate for the occasion. I dig the knotted top that shows a little bit of belly, and the pleating on the skirt is very cool. This look is young and very trendy. It feels odd to see Shailene wearing so much leather though. Would the indigenous people approve? Shailene received some popcorn for playing Tris, who won Favorite Character. She also presented 21 Pilots with her double co-star, Ansel Elgort.
Rita Ora worse a sleek, black Barbara Casasola gown. This is a rather demure look for Rita, but the dramatic plunge neckline saves the look from being too classy.
Chrissy Teigen went playful with flouncy little Ulyana Sergeenko number. This cocktail dress gives the perfect vibe for an MTV show, and the bird print is cool.
Leslie Mann wore a polka-dotted Juan Carlos Obando dress. She looked fresh and springlike. Check out her orange sandals!

Cameron Diaz covers the May issue of InStyle. This cover is the only preview image so far. I’ll probably cover the rest of the shoot later this week if Cami says some weird stuff, which she always does. InStyle’s released a few excerpts, and Cameron’s sticking with the cheating theme of The Other Woman. She’s already told the world how everyone has or will be cheated on and doubled down on the statement. She also thinks that women should ask why they’re in the position of having a man cheat on them. These first two quotes are from InStyle, and the other stuff is from an interview the Mail dug up:
More sweeping statements: “I don’t know if anyone is really naturally monogamous. We all have the same instincts as animals. But we live in a society where it’s been ingrained in us to do these things. A lot of people chase after it because they’ve been told, ‘This equals happiness. They chase it, they get it and then they find out, ‘Why did I think this was going to make me happy? I’m miserable.”‘
Does she regret any relationships? “I’m 41, I’ve been through everything, OK? I’m grateful for all of it — whether it was something quick and passing or something that lingered too long.”
Singletons make married people uncomfortable: “I think some people want other people to make the same choices in life that they have made so that they can feel good about their own choice. I think that some married people have made the choice to get married, but when they see a person who is living a different way, it makes them stop and think, ‘Wait a second — you mean you don?t need to get married after all? You mean that I felt I had to get married, but you don?t feel that you have to?’ And if they weren?t too sure about their choice in the first place, that can make them very uncomfortable.”
She still likes relationships: “I?m totally down for love. And I now know that what is most attractive in a man to me is authenticity. I am attracted to someone who knows who he is. And I think that when a man shows interest in me, then it?s because he sees that I know who I am, too.”

With some of the winners that Cameron has dated (Justin Timberlake, Jared Leto, and A-Rod), her perspective may be skewed. She hasn’t stopped to think about that part of the equation. Celebrities do tend to exist in their own little bubbles and think the same rules apply to everyone else. A lot of people are “naturally monogamous,” but some people like to use “instincts as animals” as an excuse. I had a dude try and tell me once that I should say with him even though he wanted to sleep with other people too. Because nature told him to spread his seed! Women (and men) can choose whether ot put up with these excuses or not. Not everyone is like the guys Cameron has dated.

Here are some photos from yesterday?s John Varvatos 11th Annual Stuart House Benefit in West Hollywood. Jessica Simpson is tight with Varvatos ? they do Fashion Star together. I don?t have a designer ID on the dress, but that?s not the point! The point is LOOK AT HER. Wow, she?s lost so much weight in the past year. Now I feel kind of bad that I made so many jokes about that Weight Watchers contract hanging over her head and how she would probably get knocked up again to get out of it. Jessica put in the work, big time. I know it?s kind of gross, but I?m including a photo of Jessica from behind too ? every part of her is skinny now.
By the way, I haven?t covered anything to do with Jessica in a while, even though she?s been tweeting and Instagramming photos like crazy. I?ve been hearing stories about her wedding plans too, but I got the feeling that people don?t care that much. Do you? Honk if you care.

Lord, the MTV Movie Awards were one of the most boring and try-hard shows I?d watched in a while. I watched the show last year too, and I remember being impressed with the big-name people that MTV still gets to their shows. Not so much this year. Take Mila Kunis, a winner last night for Best Villain. The only woman in the category, which? sure. That?s awesome that she won. But she was the only nominee who showed up too. Anyway, she wore this little Thakoon dress that mostly covers her smallish baby bump. It?s an okay dress. Also: pregnancy boobs! All of a sudden, she?s super-busty.
Jonah Hill was literally the most amusing person at the awards show. He finally won an award (huzzah) and he got to present the Trailblazer Award to Channing Tatum. So, he got to talk about how much he loved his BFF Leonardo DiCaprio, and then he got to lovingly discuss ?Chan? and how good-looking he is. All in all, I have to say, Jonah owns his homoeroticism. Truly. He?s a man who loves and adores his male friends.
Here?s Channing Tatum & Jenna Dewan. Jenna wore Pamela Rowland. She lost the baby weight really quickly! Channing looks great too. I was sort of embarrassed for him ? it didn?t seem like he would have been there if MTV wasn?t giving him an award.
Here?s Iggy Azalea in John Galliano. I can?t help it, I love Iggy.
Ellie Goulding wore this rather cute Giorgio Armani on the red carpet. I?ve said it before, I think Ellie is kind of overrated as a pop star, but I do think she looks really pretty here.

Kate hasn’t ever said much about her own rack — until now, what really needed to be said? Now she’s complaining a little about the assets that made her famous. Kate reveals that she’s always wanted smaller ones. Every day of her life, she’s wanted to wear spaghetti straps without busting out. She drops the “grass is always greener” clich, but it’s true! Most women that I’ve talked to would prefer to have the opposite of their given chest size. Kate appreciates what her rack has done for her career, but she’d still like to take them off after work. If only that was possible:
They’re two of the biggest stars in fashion, double-billing on the covers of Sports Illustrated, Vogue and Vanity Fair and lusted over by countless admirers – still, Kate Upton can’t stand them.
“I wish I had smaller boobs every day of my life as I love to wear spaghetti tops braless or go for the smallest bikini designs,” the supermodel and actress tells Britain?s The Sun on Sunday.
“Every single day, I’m like, ‘Oh, man, it would be so much easier,’ especially if people didn?t constantly bring them up,” she confesses of her two biggest assets.
At least twice a day she wishes she were smaller up top, Upton, 21, admits. “But the grass is always greener, as they say!”

“If I could just take them off like they were clip-ons.”
Upton is making her “serious” acting debut with the upcoming The Other Woman, and she cites Cameron Diaz as possessing the ideal physique.
“In my eyes, Cameron Diaz has the perfect figure,” she gushed.
In the film, which opens April 25, Upton, Diaz and Leslie Mann play three women who bond over a plot to take revenge on one man who cheated on them all.
And while Mann, 42, plays a grounded, devoted housewife and Diaz, 41, plays a tough Manhattan lawyer, Upton plays a flirty, ditzy blonde.
It’s not typecasting, insists Upton, who has already won rave reviews for her intelligence and acting chops from her much older co-stars.
“I think it’s funny to act like a dumb blonde. I know that’s not the case so why not play on it?” she tells The Sun.
“But I actually don’t look at my character as dumb,” Upton adds. “I think of her as young and naive, like I was once.”

Like it or not, Kate’s livelihood is directly tied to her chest size. She’s made her name upon her glorious rack, so it must be bittersweet for her to wage a daily mental battle with their existence. Maybe she can save up enough money for retirement over the years and then get a reduction? If that’s what she wants. She could change her mind before then.

Ah, Coachella time is upon us again. Coachella is actually one of my least favorite events to cover, just because A) trendy faux-hipsters, B) drugs and C) terrible casual fashion. I maybe (maybe!) would have been into this when I was 19 years old, but I do think it?s sad for 40-somethings to still do the Coachella thing year after year. Christina Hendricks covers the new issues of Health Magazine and Rhapsody Mag (the in-house mag of United Airlines). I actually like the photoshoot for Rhapsody ? good styling for Christina, right? The Health shoot is boring, so I only included the cover. Christina told Rhapsody that she sort of wants ?something horribly tragic to happen? to Joan, her Mad Men character: ?A terrible accident or something, because I think that would be interesting.? But in her Health interview, Christina talks about babies. Specially, how she doesn?t really want babies:
Her Mad Men character balances being a partner at the ad firm with raising a baby (whose secret father, viewers know, is silver fox Roger Sterling). Christina Hendricks, however, is content to pamper a furrier friend: her new dog.
?We got a puppy, and that?s my idea of starting a family. People say, ?Oh, that?s practice for parenting,? but if it?s practice for anything it?s to be a mom to another puppy,? Hendricks, 38, tells Health in their May issue, on stands April 18.

Tori Spelling’s last six months should be a lesson to any publicity hound. Six months ago, a Tori story was likely to rake in over 100 comments. Her money troubles were interesting gossip fare. Many of us tittered over Tori taking luxury vacations and claiming that she and Dean McDermott were too broke to pay for a vasectomy. Then sh-t pretended to get real when Dean was caught cheating with a Canadian random. I still can’t believe chicks fall into bed with this guy. I’m sorry, but he’s not exactly a catch. Always whining and making sexual demands and looking like he hasn’t showered in weeks.
Many of you are tired of hearing about Tori’s drama by now. She’s kept the tabloid stories coming regularly, and she must be the source on most of these stories. Why would the tabs bother otherwise? Tori moved copy for them at first, but the onslaught of Tori’s “bravery in the face of unspeakable agony” stories got old fast. By the time Tori announced her broken-marriage reality show, people stopped caring. Tori had overplayed her hand so much that a show seemed gratuitous. Now Lifetime has released the first trailer. She?s grown quite accustomed to being the center of attention, and Mila Kunis didn?t seem to mind all the fuss as she strolled up to the 2014 MTV Movie Awards this evening (April 13).
All decked out in her red carpet finery, the "Jupiter Ascending" sweetheart flashed a smile and showed off her adorable baby bump as she chatted with fellow guests outside the Nokia Theatre LA Live prior to the big event.
During the show, Miss Kunis managed to nab the award for Best Villain for her role as the Wicked Witch in "Oz The Great and Powerful."
