Dressed in all black, the “House” actress looked to be enjoying herself while lunching, and was happy to talk with a young fan that stopped by her table.

George Clooney is in Venice, promoting the premiere of Men Who Stare At Goats, also starring the gorgeous man-candy that is Ewan Mcgregor. The two did a photo call earlier today, and they both looked lovely. Ewan was wearing Chuck Taylors. Clooney was wearing Armani. Classic. After the photo call came the first press conference, and Clooney got some questions about his love life. He made a ?joke? about how he?s preparing to get married? to Goats director Grant Heslov. You?re not helping, Clooney.

At a press conference for the Venice premiere of his latest movie, Men Who Stare at Goats, Hollywood’s perpetual bachelor, 48, says that special person is … Goats director Grant Heslov.
“Grant and I are actually announcing our wedding while we are here,” Clooney joked Tuesday. “I don’t quite know how to answer that question, but I can read your mind again and I know what you’re thinking.”
Goats, which also stars Ewan Mcgregor, is a comedy about the CIA’s program for researching psychic powers. Clooney has been publicly seen on the arm of Italian TV presenter Elisabetta Canalis, and arrived with her at the Venice Film Festival Monday.
But that knowledge didn’t stop a male reporter from stripping down to his boxer shorts and a necktie and blurting out to the star: “I’m gay, George. I want you, George! Come with me, George!”
Sometimes people take “a big chance,” Clooney responded, smiling. “Only it doesn’t really work.”

I know a lot of people think George Clooney is totally gay. I get it, and I understand the case being made. Here?s the thing - I don?t agree. I?m pretty sure George is just a guy who likes his women dumb, young, lacking in ambition, beautiful, built and kinky. I don?t think George will ever look at a woman and see a partner, an equal, a friend. He will only see a broad who is or is not kinky, who is or is not worth his seduction time and effort. All that being said, George should ease up on the gay wedding jokes, because there are a lot of people who don?t think they?re jokes. Besides that, what is so inherently funny about gay people getting married? It doesn?t even work on the ?joke? level.

Previously hinting at their plans to tie the knot, Christina Milian has gotten married to her music producer beau The Dream in a ceremony last weekend.
According to TMZ, the loved-up pair said their “I Do’s” at the Little White Wedding Chapel, where Britney Spears had a shotgun wedding back in 2004.
Keeping things quite simple, Milian reportedly donned a $200 rented wedding dress while The Dream rented his tux for $100.
As previously reported by Gossip Center, it was just last month that Christina and her man filed for a wedding license.

And when asked about how she moves on after a relationship, Jen responded, “I think it’s important to have closure in any relationship that ends—from a romantic relationship to a friendship. You should always have a sense of clarity at the end and know why it began and why it ended. You need that in your life to move cleanly into your next phase.”

Heidi Klum is the cover girl for the first quarterly issue of Page Six Magazine, which will likely be some kind of supplement with the daily New York Post newspaper. The cover shot of Heidi is lovely, I think. Well, her roots are a little sketchy, but the image sort of reminds me of something sort of washed out, yet interesting, like a painting Andy Warhol would have done of Heidi. She’s due to give birth to her fourth child next month, and Heidi Klum says she’s still amazed at how much her body changes during the end of pregnancy.
The “Project Runway” babe told press, “The last month is unbelievable, how rapidly your stomach goes. It’s huge. The thighs, the butt—everything explodes in the end.”
Klum also shared her amazement at how she can get fit and fine after giving birth- something she’s done three times already.

I hope I?m not alone, but I have very mixed feelings about Hilary Swank. On one side, I really like her. She?s a gifted actress with a hard-scrabble background, who has worked her ass off in an industry that rewards people like Gwyneth Paltrow. Swank has received the Best Actress Oscar not once, but twice? which shows she has a significant fan base within Hollywood. People who work with her always talk about her great work ethic, and her lack of affectation.
On the other hand, I tend to think Hilary is a little over-rated. While she is a gifted dramatic actress, I think she sucks when she does anything else, like comedy or thriller or action. And then there?s everything with Hilary?s personal life - the 9-year marriage to Chad Lowe, the struggle with his addiction, and her 2006 post-split Vanity Fair interview in which she called out Chad?s addictions as the sole reason for their split. While I think Hilary was being honest, the whole thing seemed cheap and without class, in my opinion.
Soon after Hilary and Chad split, she was spotted going out on dates with her agent, John Campisi, who was married at the time. I actually didn’t know that before today - CB just schooled me. I always though John was just some nice, normal, average-looking guy, but it seems he and Hilary totally had some kind of affair. His wife filed for divorce soon after pictures of John and Hilary were taken while they were on some kind of romantic holiday during the summer of 2006. They?ve been dating quietly for more than three years now - and Hilary is opening up about the relationship in a new interview:
After her 9-year marriage to Chad Lowe ended in 2006, a bummed Hilary Swank needed someone to lean on for support, and that person just happened to be her agent.
Although initially there was “no spark” between the 35-year-old Oscar winnter and John Campisi, in time it became clear there was something there. “What’s interesting is, there was never anything, it wasn’t until we were well into the dissipation of our respective relationships — going through something so difficult at the same time, we became very good friends.”
After they began dating, they opted to nix their professional relationship.
“We became closer and closer. It was so unexpected. We both recognized that if we were going to take the relationship to the next step, we could no longer work together.”
In the few years since they’ve been quietly dating, Swank has grown close to Campisi’s son, Sam, and now is itching to have some of her own.
“I’d most definitely like children of my own. It’s something I’d like to do someday. And when that timing is right I’ll hopefully know it.”

Of all of the actresses who seem to put their careers ahead of everything and everyone else (no judgment, just be honest about it), I tend to think Hilary is the most likely to actually stop working for a few years and actually start a family. Campisi’s son - whom Hilary references - is from his marriage that ended when his affair became public. The child was a toddler when Hilary swooped in, so the kid’s probably five or six years now. If John and Hilary get married, she?ll be a step-mom - and I’ve got wonder if John’s ex-wife likes Hilary talking about her child. I also wonder why they haven?t gotten married yet? Do you think Hilary is gun-shy after Chad Lowe? Or is Campisi the one holding up the works?

They’ve been living it up at the Venice Film Festival as of late, and yesterday (September 7) Paris Hilton and Doug Reinhardt were spotted arriving back in the States at LAX Airport.
The “Simple Life” actress and her on/off beau looked quite cozy with one another, holding hands as they made their way through the terminal.
Coming up, Miss Hilton will be featured on the fifth episode of the new season of “Supernatural,” scheduled to air later this fall.
In the episode (tentatively named Celebrity Skin or Fallen Idols) Paris plays a shapeshifter that takes the form of herself. She will be doing some fight scenes that push her to her physical limit, so make sure you tune in.

San Diego Chargers linebacker Shawne Merriman of the was taken into custody over the weekend after allegedly choking media whore Tila Tequila at his home. TMZ says
San Diego Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call [Sunday] morning at 3:45 AM [in which] Tila claimed [to have been] “choked and physically restrained” by Merriman after she tried to leave his residence.
Tila was transported to a local hospital while Merriman was taken into custody. [He] is accused of battery and false imprisonment.
Merriman denied all the charges against him, claiming that Tila was “extremely inebriated” and he had only tried to prevent her from leaving because she was in no state to drive a vehicle. He said in a statement
“On September 6, 2009 the San Diego Sheriff’s Department responded to a citizen’s complaint that was initiated by Tila Nguyen (aka Tila Tequila). I was taken into custody based upon that complaint. At the time, I was concerned about her welfare given the intoxicated state she appeared to be in and I encouraged her to stay until safe transportation could be provided.
We would all do our best to help a friend if we considered their actions to be detrimental to their personal safety. I in no way caused any harm to Ms. Nguyen, however, paramedics were called and she was examined but no injuries were reported. She was released and has since returned to Los Angeles, California.
There have been no charges filed against me. I want to thank the San Diego Sheriff’s Department for their professionalism. I will continue to cooperate fully with the Department, and I look forward to clearing my name regarding these false allegations. I want to put this behind me so I can continue to focus on a successful season for the San Diego Chargers.”

It seems Brad Pitt got tired of dressing up like Hermione Granger (you know Angelina makes him), and he decided to do something special for the victimized gerbils. This is according to The Sun and here goes: Brad Pitt laid out more than $75,000 on a specially-designed, custom-made, ?complex? gerbil run! The Sun refers to it as a ?bespoke run? and they describe it as ?a maze of tunnels, seesaws and platforms.?
ARCHITECTURE fanatic Brad Pitt has spent 50,000 building a bespoke run - for his children’s gerbils.
The Hollywood heavyweight is fascinated by design and construction and personally oversaw every step of the project at his family’s French estate.
It features a maze of tunnels, seesaws and platforms which makes the rodents the most pampered vermin on the planet.
In 2005 the Inglourious Basterds star had an informal apprenticeship with Frank Gehry - one of the world’s top architects.
Brad helped design a development for the seafront in Hove, East Sussex, but it has not been built.
A source said: “Brad pores over architectural journals like other people pore over newspapers. He had so much fun putting the run together with his kids MADDOX, ZAHARA, SHILOH and PAX.
“It’s incredibly complex and cost a lot but Brad’s more than happy with any activity that can combine his two passions - his kids and architecture.”

Do gerbils need to be pampered? I?m sure if the gerbils could speak, they would say that they would prefer the money be spent on really great gerbil food. And maybe some gerbil hookers and gerbil blow. Maybe a really good gerbil deep-tissue massage? Turning up in the Big Apple over the holiday weekend, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban were spotted out for the US Open in New York City on Monday (September 7).
There for the Roger Federer vs Tommy Robredo match held at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, the loved-up pair laughed and canoodled in the stands as they watched Federer win the match in straight sets.

Making the headlines over the weekend, Tila Tequila (real name: Tila Nguyen) has caused quite the stir with accusations against San Diego Chargers’ linebacker Shawne Merriman - whom she claims choked her and held her against her will.
With the incident taking place early Sunday morning, the NFL star has denied the claims - saying that he was trying to keep an “extremely intoxicated” Tila safe by trying to keep her at his home.
Charged with battery and false imprisonment before being released on bond, Sheriff’s Lt. Gary Steadman said of the situation: “Tila [Nguyen] made a citizen’s arrest.”
Meanwhile, Merriman’s lawyer has denied the allegations, telling press, “At no time did Mr. Merriman assault her; at no time did Mr. Merriman keep her against her will.”
