The “Material Girl” pop star is joining forces with Iconix Brand Group, Inc. which is the company behind labels such as Candies’ and Badgley Mischka.
People magazine reports that the Queen of Pop will be launching her own style empire called MG Icon.
“Joining forces with Iconix to bring my fashion ideas to consumers is very exciting for me,” says Madonna in a press release.
Come August 2010, the first of Madge’s empire – a junior collection called Material Girl – will be available exclusively at Macy’s stores and online.

In relationship news, it seems Reese’s current boyfriend Jim Toth is already contemplating ways of popping the question to her.
An insider revealed, “He is not looking to casually date, he’s looking to get more serious. He’s a nice guy, but he can be needy and is definitely looking to settle down. He lost his father about a year ago and that made him want to get married.”
Unfortunately, it doesn’t sound like Ms. Witherspoon is on the same track. “Reese got married too young the first time, and she never wants to go through another divorce again. She wants to take things very slowly.”

She brought her purse-holder Ashton Kutcher and her oldest daughter Rumer. While at the party, Demi decided to do a pole dance. Which is funny enough because, I mean, isn?t Demi afraid a strong wind will bust something on her face? But I digress. So, Demi did a pole dance, and then? she ?encouraged Rumer to join her.? Mothers and daughters like to shop together ? but pole dancing? That?s what Striptease star Demi Moore, 47, and daughter Rumer Willis, 21, did for fun at a party at the Chateau Marmont in LA on Feb. 27.
?There was a pole at the bash, and Demi thought it would be fun to show everyone she still has what it takes,? a partygoer tells Life & Style. ?Demi even spun around the pole upside down. It was incredible.?
Then it was Rumer?s turn, as stepdad Ashton Kutcher and A-listers Jennifer Aniston and Leonardo DiCaprio, among others, looked on.

If my mother ever pole danced, I would check her into the hospital for fear she had a personality-altering brain tumor. If my mother even mentioned a wayward desire to pole dance, I would ask her to be quiet, lest I need to bleach my brain. But this could be the answer to many questions I have about Rumer, and why she is the way she is. Not that she?s a bad kid or anything, she just seems a little full of herself with very little actual talent to back up that ego. But if you had that mother, you would have some personality quirks too.

I bet it was easy for Rumer to swing around the pole like that once she really got going. When you’ve got a head that big, inertia kind of kicks in and does its thing for you. Teaming up for a sexy new shoot, Gerard Butler and Jennifer Aniston looked to be quite the lovely pair on the cover of W magazine’s April issue.
Taken to promote their upcoming movie “The Bounty Hunter,” the fabulous photo finds the former “Friends” star perched atop her “Law Abiding Citizen” co-stars lap.
Having been shot in mid-January on a ranch outside of Los Angeles, the 13-page spread reads: “Speed Trap: Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler do a little role playing in the searing heat of the California desert where damsels aren’t always in distress and lawmen sometimes break the rules.”
The Jen and Gerard shoot was done by famed photographer Steven Klein, who happens to be a longtime pal of Miss Aniston and her former hubby Brad Pitt.

Bringing an end to Cindy Crawford’s blackmail nightmare, Edis Kayalar was sentenced to two years behind bars by a German court.
Kayalar was convicted of attempting to extort money from Crawford and her husband Rande Gerber and threatened to release a photo of their then 7-year-old daughter in a compromising situation.
According to a report, the photograph was taken during a ‘cops and robbers game’ and portrayed the youngster as being tied to a chair with a gag in her mouth.
Last summer, Crawford and Gerber received threats to release the photo unless they paid Kayalar oodles of money. Eventually he was deported to Germany where he made another demand for cash.

According to Life & Style?s excerpt, ? the sources say Angelina was sleeping with Jonny Lee Miller and Ralph Fiennes when she met Brad Pitt and she?d just ended a four-month relationship with Colin Farrell, because he was becoming obsessed with her, and he drank too much and wasn?t a good role model for Maddox. I?m sorry if I gave the impression that I don?t care for Jessica Simpson - I do. I like her in the way you love a really dumb, shiny puppy who desperate for attention. I mean, of course I?m going to love the puppy. The puppy can?t take care of itself or hold a complicated thought and the puppy messes itself, but still, the puppy is cute and harmless and sweet and it does not have a vicious bone in its body. Same with Jessica. I get why men (and women like her): she?s uncomplicated, she wants to be loved, she?s vulnerable without seeming pitiful, and she?s shiny.
That being said, I rolled my eyes a little at Jessica?s latest interview. She sat down with La Seacrest as KIIS-FM, and they talked about all of the same stuff that she discussed with Oprah. And Jessica had pretty much the same answers. The only new stuff was her commenting on Tony Romo (?Tony was so great and so supportive and never ever made me feel like I wasn’t sexy? - because being ?sexy? is the most important thing, right?) and Billy Corgan (?He’s a very, very dear friend?). Despite John Mayer’s recent kiss-and-tell revelations about their sex life, Jessica Simpson says she remains, deep down, a trusting person.
“I’m not as guarded as you would think. I should probably be more guarded. I trust a lot of people, actually,” the actress and singer, 29, told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show Tuesday morning.
Not that she’s over feeling disappointed in Mayer, who later apologized. “That’s truly how I felt and still feel,” she said. “Somebody that you have cared about for a long time, you just hope they can keep the intimate things intimate.”
On a lighter note, Simpson ? whose new VH1 show, The Price of Beauty, premieres March 15 ? introduced her new single, “Who We Are,” and spoke warmly of Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan, who worked on it with her. There has been speculation that the two are in a budding romantic relationship, though Simpson recently said they were just friends.
“I can’t find good enough words to speak about Billy,” Simpson said. “He’s a very, very dear friend. For him to give his time and his talents and share them with me, it was a great experience. And I hope we can do more music together.”
“Who We Are” is the theme song for The Price of Beauty, in which Simpson travels the world looking at what is considered beautiful in various cultures. The show was inspired by her weight controversy last year, when, she said, “if I put on 10 pounds, it was the end of the world.”
Looking back on those days, Simpson said then-boyfriend Tony Romo helped her through the worst of it.
“Tony was so great and so supportive and never ever made me feel like I wasn’t sexy,” she said. “I was embarrassed by what the world was saying, but I still had my friends and loved ones and family who appreciated me.”

This is the new Jessica, the girl trying to be a classy, enlightened woman. Unfortunately, not everyone feels that way. You’re like that sweater we once bought on sale hoping that we would one day fit into it, but we suddenly realized that we will never wear, no matter how hard we try. You won’t ever fit us and it’s better that we donate you to charity and clear you out of the closet. Because we only have room for so much, and newer, prettier things have come along that we like. Yes, Jessica we’re getting rid of you. And since we barely even wanted you in the first place, please do us the courtesy of staying away.

I?ve been waiting for this since Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler appearance at the Golden Globes in January - it was just a day after that touchy-feely date night that PopEater announced that the two of them had already photographed a dual W Magazine photo shoot and cover that would be ?the raciest cover that W magazine has ever shot. Far more sexy than the famous Brad and Angelina pictures in bed? according to PopEater?s source at the time. This would all be for promoting their film, The Bounty Hunter.
Basically the photo shoot is about a girl (Aniston, naturally) who is, like, a criminal on the run, with good hair and cash. A cop (Butler) like, stops her car and puts her roughly in the police car, without ruining her hair. At first glance, I was like, ?Gerard looks damn good in that cop uniform? but as I?m looking more closely, he really doesn?t. He looks weirdly like Tom Ford, right? And Tom Ford is really hot, but it?s weird to see Gerry pull that face. Jen looks really cute in some of the shots, though. I like the heavy, dark eye makeup - that?s a look we don?t often see her styled with, and it?s a good look for her. W Mag has a minimal slideshow (here), but I?m including all of the relevant photos. Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler have laughed off reports that they’re romantically involved, but the Bounty Hunter costars sure look cozy on the cover of W magazine’s April issue.
Shot on a ranch about 45 minutes outside of Los Angeles in mid-January, the 13-page pictorial featuring Butler and Aniston, both 40, consists of seven photographs by celeb shutterbug Steven Klein. Ironically, Klein also shot W’s infamous July 2005 cover featuring Brad Pitt ? who had then-recently separated from Aniston ? playing house with Angelina Jolie.
For the April cover, on which hunky Scottish actor Butler wraps his arms around Aniston, the actress tapped into her inner fashionista and wore an Alberta Ferretti silk chiffon dress, Carine Gilson Lingerie Couture’s silk bra and silk lace briefs, Stella McCartney garters and Lanvin shoes. Total retail value for her outfit? $3,800!
As for the inside pictorial, it’s called “Speed Trap: Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler do a little role playing in the searing heat of the California desert where damsels aren’t always in distress and lawmen sometimes break the rules.” Hmmm … role playing?

W didn?t have any interview excerpts or anything like that, which makes me wonder if this is just a pictoral. Could be. W has done that before, so it?s not beyond the realm of possibility. I was really expecting to hate this photo shoot, just because my expectations from PopEater were that Gerard and Jennifer were going to be trying to do a version of Brad and Angelina?s 2005 W shoot, but I?m pleasantly surprised it?s so different stylistically and ?message?-wise. Although both were shot by the same photographer, Steven Klein. But he does most of W?s cover shoots, so whatever.
My favorite is the one of Gerry shoving Aniston against the cop car. It’s naughty.

The “Pirates of the Caribbean” stud and his Victoria’s Secret vixen enjoyed some lunch and coffee at the Hugo Caf as the paparazzi looked on.
And of course Orly looked hunky in a green sweater with black trousers while Miranda donned a khaki jacket with grey leggings and gold Converse All Stars.
Orlando has been in Los Angeles as of late to work on his new movie “The Good Doctor,” while Miranda has been away on various modeling gigs around the globe.

Arriving on a transcontinental flight from Los Angeles, Jessica Simpson was spotted at JFK International Airport in New York City last night (March 9).
The “Come on Over” songstress looked cheery as she made her way through the terminal, sporting a grey sweatshirt, distressed jeans, and cowboy boots.
And while she’s come to terms with her fluctuating weight, Jessica told press she had a hard time performing on stage after the media criticized her appearance at the 2009 Chili Cook-Off gig.
“I was embarrassed. I didn’t want to show my face. I was touring with the Rascal Flatts at the time and had to get on stage every day and kind of just face it and hope to God I wasn’t wearing an unflattering outfit ... Obviously, I didn’t look like Daisy Duke.”

The Columbian cutie looked lovely as she filmed scenes for her hit show “Modern Family,” sporting a green dress and a half-up hairdo.
Also on the set was Sofia’s on-screen husband Ed O’Neill, looking festive in a Hawaiian shirt and sunglasses.

Ready to try her hand at writing, Hilary Duff has announced her plans to pen a series of young adult novels for Simon & Schuster.
The recently engaged actress is kicking off the deal with an upcoming book titled “Elixir,” which is due to hit bookstore shelves on October 12th.
According to press reports, Miss Duff’s first writing effort “will feature the adventures of a globe-trotting photojournalist named Clea Raymond.”
Also in the works is another book aiming to help children cope with the difficult subject of parental divorce, with a release date slated for 2012.
