Sigh? another year without an American Vogue cover. Victoria Beckham has to console herself with yet another Vogue UK cover. Instead of going for her usual jacked-up high-glamour look (if you want to call it that), Victoria?s cover shot is suspiciously low-key. This, too, is forced. The Vogue UK writer Lisa Armstrong notes, ?No French manicures. No torpedo bazookas, either. ‘Gone,’ she announces.” Why the change? Because Posh is going from WAG to fashion designer, and wants to be seen as low-key. Can I be honest? I rarely say this kind of thing, but Posh looks better when she?s ?unnatural? you know? I don?t like this un-glamorous shot of Posh. It makes her look like she?s got mental problems, especially with her mouth hanging open like that. Anyway, in the interview excerpts, Posh talks about her marriage, etc:
Victoria Beckham has been unwavering in her love and devotion for husband David after 11 years of marriage. But despite his athletic figure and metrosexual appearance, the former Spice Girl admits even he has his off days.
Just months after Posh declared her husband looked ‘naturally good all the time’, she appears to have changed her mind. In a new interview with the UK edition of Vogue magazine, the 36-year-old spoke frankly about her husband of 11 years.
Speaking in the February issue of Vogue - her sixth Vogue cover - she said: ‘The other morning I looked across at David just after he’d woken up and thought you look really crap. Thank God, because this is a man who always looked so perfect.’
Her remarks were in stark contrast to an interview she gave to Marie Claire magazine in October.
She said at the time: ‘He just naturally looks good all the time. He never looks like s*** in the morning. Never. So he?s sitting there sending his e-mails, all ripped. Not an ounce of fat on him. And I thought, you done good, girl. I sure wasn?t thinking of his high-pitched voice.’
Victoria’s appearance in Vogue is the sixth time she’s appeared on the cover of the magazine. She’s already graced the covers of Russian, Indian, Turkish, German editions, and the British edition once before in 2008.
Also in the Vogue interview, she admits she’s finally given up on her long hope for a baby girl. She also confesses to having her breast implants removed and admits the power balance between herself and David is changing.

People Magazine just put up this story - a confirmation that John spent New Year?s with his jumpoff, Meg Ryan. It?s looking more and more like this is the formal rollout for John and Meg as a couple, and more and more like Meg was in the picture when John and Elaine were still very much married:

The pair have spent time together on Martha’s Vineyard and in New York City in recent days, enjoying a fresh romance just as Mellencamp has announced his separation from wife Elaine after 18 years of marriage.
A source close to Ryan, 49, says the actress and the rock star, 59, began dating about seven weeks ago, and that Mellencamp and his wife had been separated for some time before that.
The pair have been spotted having coffee at Espresso Love, one of Ryan’s favorite spots on the Vineyard, and grocery shopping at Gourmet Garage in New York’s SoHo neighborhood ? where observers tell PEOPLE they seemed happy and at ease.
“She usually comes in by herself or with her daughter. I thought that was her husband because they seemed for comfortable and familiar with each other, just like an old married couple,” one observer says.
Mellencamp has been married three times and has five children, including two sons with Elaine.
Ryan has been married once, to actor Dennis Quaid. They divorced in 2001 after 10 years of marriage. They have a son, Jack Henry, who is 18. Ryan also has a daughter, Daisy True, 6, whom she adopted from China.

And I do tend to think LeAnn didn?t get her boobs done to make herself feel better, but as a way of making Eddie happy. “Access Hollywood” host Maria Menounos suffered a wardrobe malfunction while vacationing in Miami Beach over the weekend.
The 32-year-old was playing beach football in the surf when her black bikini bottom budged to the right, partially exposing her private parts.
“Paparazzi had some fun! Hope the bikini shots are flattering!” she wrote on her Twitter account.
Menounos, who was seen with actor Michael Chiklis and “The Spin Crowd” stars Jonathan Cheban and Simon Huck, was completely unaware of the incident until one of her followers pointed it out.
“No??!!!! Where did u see? Please tell me you’re joking,” she responded.

Goopy is sellin?, and she?s trying to talk about things she thinks hick peasants will enjoy. Which means talking AGAIN about her post-partum depression after she gave birth to Moses, and about how much Chris Martin loves her. Eat up, peasants.
Gwyneth Paltrow had a blissful time during daughter Apple’s first few months of life in summer 2004. Two years later, when son Moses was born, things couldn’t have been more different. The actress found herself living a nightmare.
“I felt like a zombie. I couldn’t access my heart. I couldn’t access my emotions. I couldn’t connect,” Paltrow, now 38, says in the February issue of Good Housekeeping.
“It was terrible, it was the exact opposite of what had happened when Apple was born. With her, I was on cloud nine. I couldn’t believe it wasn’t the same. I just thought it meant I was a terrible mother and a terrible person.”
It was Paltrow’s husband, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, who first thought she might be suffering from postpartum depression.
“About four months into it, Chris came to me and said, ‘Something’s wrong. Something’s wrong,’ ” Paltrow recalls. “I kept saying, ‘No, no, I’m fine.’ But Chris identified it, and that sort of burst the bubble.”
Paltrow says the hardest part was acknowledging the problem. “I thought postpartum depression meant you were sobbing every single day and incapable of looking after a child,” she explains. “But there are different shades of it and depths of it, which is why I think it’s so important for women to talk about it. It was a trying time. I felt like a failure.”
With those dark days long behind her, Paltrow has rebooted her film career ? and begun a musical one ? with her role in Country Strong. Her husband, supportive as ever, helped her learn guitar for the part ? which came as no surprise.
“I can depend on him,” Paltrow says. “He makes me laugh. He’s really appreciative of me. You know, he makes me feel special.”
Although sometimes, she has to push him a little to talk about his feelings. “I definitely have to coax things out of him when we talk. You know, he’s British, so it’s a different lexicon totally,” Paltrow says. “But you have to communicate. Otherwise there’s no relationship.”

Regarding Goopy?s post-partum issues: I don?t hate that she talks about it, and I?m only mildly annoyed that she brings it up in nearly every major interview. No, what really bothers me is that I get the feeling that despite her attitude that she?s ?speaking out? or ?educating? about post-partum depression, she is in fact making the issue all about HER, and trying to tell us about the one time in her life that she ?failed? (in her mind). Goopy is all about being holier-than-thou, and for being more elite than everybody else. In her mind, if she had post-partum issues, that is the one chink in her armor of smug superiority. She?s trying to relate to us peasants, all of us who are failing and being average and not elite on a daily basis. It feels cheap and inauthentic to me. But - it?s still all about her, of course.
Regarding what she said about Chris Martin: ?He’s really appreciative of me. You know, he makes me feel special.” ALL ABOUT HER. Also, I don?t buy it.

Ryan, 34, and Sandra, 46, were spotted dining at her Austin, Tex., restaurant Bess Bistro on New Year’s Eve. They reportedly danced the night away and left together at 2 am.
Ryan has been leaning on Sandra since his marriage to Scarlett Johansson started falling apart on Dec. 23. Sandra’s marriage to Jesse James crumbled in early 2010 after she adopted baby Louis.

This week’s National Enquirer cover story is “Who’s Gay & Who’s Not,” and a 44-year-old unmarried actress like Lisa Edelstein seems like ripe fodder for gay rumors. But the mag also claims Lisa is dating an artist named Robert Russell.
Sexy House doctor Lisa Edelstein has found love on and off the screen. Lisa — whose TV character is embroiled in a red-hot romance with Hugh Laurie’s gruff Dr. Gregory House on the popular FOX series — is now dating artist Robert Russell, The Enquirer has learned.
“Lisa has really clicked with Robert,” said an insider. “They have great chemistry and share a love for art and social causes.”
The 44-year-old never-married actress, who portrays no-nonsense hospital administrator Dr. Lisa Cuddy on the medical drama, has kept her relationship with Robert under wraps for the past few months. But the two decided to go public in early December and were photographed together at the AIDS Research Alliance Press Conference in Los Angeles on Dec. 1 and then at the L’Oreal Women of Worth Awards in New York on Dec. 9.
Although she dated her Finnish yoga instructor Petri Raisanen throughout 2007 and artist Giammario Villa in 2008, Lisa has been busy with the show and focusing on her charitable causes for the past two years. Her favorite charities include Best Friends Animal Society, Save the Children, Planned Parenthood and amfAR.
“Lisa’s never been married because she’s extremely picky about men,” explained the insider. “And for the last year or so, Lisa’s favorite companions have been her beloved rescue dogs.”
But all that changed when Lisa met 39-year-old Robert.
“They are both art lovers and Robert is also a big believer in animal sanctuaries and causes,” revealed the insider.
Robert, who has two small children, split with his 38-year-old wife, Paulina Quintana, in August after almost eight years of marriage. He filed for divorce in LA in November, citing irreconcilable differences.
Despite the fact that Robert jumped into his romance with Lisa only a short time after his marriage breakup, his estranged wife told The Enquirer that she bears no ill will toward Lisa. Said Paulina, a children’s clothing designer: “I’ve never met Lisa, but I’m sure she’s a lovely person.”

I remember reading that Lisa was picky about men, so I’m glad to read she’s found love. I hope it lasts and it’s not just a rebound for him. Lisa seems like a smart woman, and I applaud anyone who supports animal charities.
I haven’t watched House this season, so I don’t know how well the House/Cuddy romance is working, but I’m not a fan of it in theory. It seems like a “jump the shark” move. Right or wrong, House fans?
Note by Celebitchy: I think House definitely jumped the shark when Cuddy hooked up with House. I can’t believe she would willingly get with him, and the show seems more outrageous than usual this season.
Note by Kaiser: I like their romance. I also think the writers had to do it - it makes sense that they would give each other a chance, I think. Plus, it’s interesting seeing a romance between two over-40 professionals on network television, and I think they’re being somewhat realistic with how the romance is dealt with. I can’t wait for Candace Bergen to come on as Mother Cuddy!

They’re making death threats against her for poaching their idol, but I’m sure it’s nothing serious despite the fact that they’re broadcasting it to everyone. Do you think these two are doing it? I feel creepy for even considering that. It’s technically illegal to have sex under the age of 18 in California, but since their age difference is less than three years it’s only a misdemeanor on Gomez’s part and is not likely to be prosecuted. Even when both parties are under 18 in California, underage sex is still a misdemeanor. They look like such kids, though! Maybe Justin just gave that bracelet to Selena hoping she’d let him touch her boobs.

There hasn?t been any good photo op in a while either - Britney has stopped with the biweekly paparazzi-filled outings to Starbucks. There was a rumor, sometime around Christmas, that Britney had finally gotten engaged to Jason Trawick, but I doubt it. The rumor seems to have started because she was wearing what looked like a simple band in a Christmas photo. It was nothing. Which brings me to the first big Brit story of the year - Britney is going to get her patented, greasy, nasty, budget extensions? down to her butt, y?all. Britney?s extensions won?t start out as a hot mess, but that?s how they?ll end up:
When it comes to her hair, Britney Spears is going all. The. Way.
The “Piece of Me” singer has scheduled an appointment to get super-long hair extensions from stylist Kim Vo at the Montage Beverly Hills, a source tells UsMagazine.com.
Spears, 29, has recently turned to the celebrity stylist for hair help. “[Vo] wasn’t responsible for her hair over the last few years but is trying to fix it now!” the source tells Us.
Although that may prove difficult given Spears’ ever-evolving hair styles. “He mentioned how often she changes her mind about it. This week she wants it to her butt, and?two weeks later they’ll probably cut it again.”
The extensions will hardly be a first for Spears. In July, the singer revealed a botched (or simply half-done) hair extension job.

God, this is such a hideous idea. I will maintain that what Britney really needs to do if shave everything off and just start from scratch. No weaves, no extensions, no hairpieces, no dye. Just go natural for a while, and see how she likes that.

Singer Christina Milian was married to music producer The Dream all of 10 months and had a 5 month-old daughter with him back when he was photographed ass grabbing his female assistant this July. The two then announced their separation, with Dream’s rep claiming they split up in late 2009.Divorce papers filed in February tend to support that, but whatever happened it looked like Milian was the wronged party. The Dream later issued a self-pitying statement in which he said that he and Christina were having problems or something and he was only human. He didn’t deny cheating or say that they were split up at the time.
Judging from Christina’s latest interview, she was just as surprised by the photos as everyone else.
29-year-old singer/actress Christina Milian sat down to talk to us exclusively about the cheating scandal that ended her marriage to The-Dream (aka Terius Nash), and how she made it through ?hell and back? to relish her new life as a single mom.
On her failed marriage: ?No matter what, you can?t change who you are. I know that now. I tried to be someone I wasn?t because I wanted my marriage to work. But ultimately, if it?s not working, it?s not working.?
On the cheating scandal: ?I didn?t know anything. But looking back, my gut was telling me something was off. But I thought I could fix it.?
On lessons learned: ?I learned a lot about myself this year. I learned what I can handle. I learned how much I can take. I learned who I am and what I will accept for myself and my daughter.?
On becoming a mom: ?Being a new mother definitely makes me feel so much sexier than ever before. There?s a certain responsibility that I carry being a mom that makes me feel very confident and so blessed. Being a mom is the best thing that?s ever happened to me.?
On what?s next: ?I feel brand new. I?ve been to hell and back, but I survived. I?m stronger for it and now I?m ready for the next phase of my life.?

You see a lot of photos of Christina out with her adorable daughter, Violet, and she looks like such a loving mom. It had to hurt so much to see those photos of her husband with his personal assistant, but at least her suspicions were confirmed. If the guy wasn’t so thoroughly busted he surely would have lied to her about it, continued to treat her like sh*t and then justify his behavior because they were having “problems.” Now she can move on with her life and hopefully make better choices in men.

The last we heard of singer Toni Braxton she was declaring bankruptcy for the second time, having racked up between $10 to $50 million in debt all over the country. Toni had no idea how much she owed exactly, but knew it was at least 8 figures and included unpaid parking tickets, medical bills, IRS leins, and charges to Neiman Marcus. Now Toni has to make some money to continue to live foolishly. She’s set to star in a reality show with her sisters, who are also singers. The show will premiere on the WE Network next year, along with a new reality show starring Joan and Melissa Rivers. Now the Rivers reality show could be mildly interesting, particularly since Joan has really gone off the rails lately. I wonder if they’ll air footage in which she compares various people to Hitler or if they’ll edit those parts out.
Braxton, the Grammy-winning singer of “Un-Break My Heart” and “You’re Makin’ Me High,” will appear in “Braxton Family Values” on the WE network starting in April. Braxton’s sisters ? Traci, Towanda, Trina and Tamar ? are all aspiring singers…
The dynamic of four women trying to follow the 43-year-old Braxton into show business ? with varying levels of success ? appealed to WE executives. The network’s research indicated that programs about families, often with a humorous touch, is a niche worth exploring.
On Jan. 25, WE is debuting a series about Joan Rivers and daughter, Melissa, along with “A Stand Up Mother,” about comedian Tammy Pescatelli trying to balance family and career.
“Our goal is to put on families that are big personalities, who are interesting, entertaining, full of drama and conflict and you can’t wait to tune in next week,” Kim Martin, the network’s president and general manager, said recently.
WE believes family members who are emotionally invested in one another will make for situations that ring truer than reality fare where strangers are forced together in contrived circumstances, said John Miller, the network’s programming chief.
“Our goal is not to look at family viewing,” Martin said. “Our goal is to show families, because women define themselves by the relationships in their lives.”
Viewers relate to the family in “Downsized,” particularly the boy who sold his baseball mitt to raise money, Martin said. The show’s audience was about twice the size of what WE had previously aired on Saturday nights, she said.

All these new networks need programming, and reality shows are just about the easiest way to get built-in drama and plotlines, by filming and exaggerating what’s already happening in the lives of lesser celebrities. In Toni’s case there’s sure to be a lot of mindless shopping and throwing away parking tickets without looking at them. We’ll get to see Joan Rivers go to the plastic surgeon and make fun of various celebrities using tired old jokes that could apply to just about anyone. Maybe Oprah does have it right when she says we need to raise the bar for television, or maybe WE isn’t aiming low enough. We’ve clearly shown a preference for trashier television with famewhores who will do anything for publicity. Toni Braxton and Joan Rivers are just run of the mill has-beens, and those kind of reality shows have run their course.

Looking to avoid cabin fever this winter, Nicole Richie took her adorable kids to a children?s indoor playground in Los Angeles yesterday (January 3).

Getting back into work mode after a holiday break, Miley Cyrus was busy on the set of "So Undercover" in New Orleans on Monday afternoon (January 3).
Looking to be having a blast, the "Last Song" starlet joined fellow set workers for a little playful fun as camera crews captured all of the action.
As for the film, "So Undercover" is being directed by Tom Vaughan while co-starring Kelly Osbourne, Alexis Knapp and Cameron Deane Stewart.
A synopsis via IMDB tells that it's about "a tough, street-smart private eye hired by the FBI to go undercover in a college sorority."

Giving a glimpse of the intimate beachfront festivities, photos from the wedding of Shania Twain and Frederic Thiebaud on New Year's Day have been released.
Of the celebratory fete, the country singer's rep said, "They were married at sunset in Rincon, Puerto Rico, in front of 40 of their closest family and friends."
As for the details, Shania was walked down the aisle by her 9-year-old son, Eja, while clad in a dress bought at a small boutique in Switzerland paired with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and Calvin Klein shoes.
The exchange of vows comes after Twain announced her engagement on her website last month, writing, "Love, peace and happiness is taking me in to 2011 and I'm feeling refreshed and optimistic about the future. I'm looking forward to what the new year has in store."
