Amanda Peet, 51, and David Benioff, 52, have been married since 2006 and have three children together, Frances, 16, Molly, 12, and Henry, 8. Amanda is an actress and David is a successful, albeit controversial, writer and producer. Amanda is promoting her role on the Fatal Attraction series on Paramount +, where she plays the wife who gets cheated on by Joshua Jackson?s character. Lizzy Caplan is the bunny boiler! Just the casting makes me want to see it, Caplan won me over on the underrated Castle Rock on Hulu.
Amanda was on Kimmel when she told a story about how she makes her husband work out of her closet. He has a big ergonomic chair and she banished him to the closet so she wouldn?t have to deal with that ugly chair in her living space. I don?t understand why the guy doesn?t have his own office, but they have three kids so space must be at a premium in their house. Anyway the set up to this story is she was just out of the shower and getting dressed, her husband was working there in her closet/his office and her daughter came in to borrow something to wear. That?s when her daughter delivered the cutting line in the title. Here?s what Amanda said about that to Kimmel.
I was a little bit excited because when she comes in my closet usually means shes borrowing my clothes which is like a real ego boost for me. I was completely naked and she just looked to David, back to me [and said] do you guys ever miss being young and attractive? The most most painful part of it was it was a real existential question like she really was like is it hard that you are so saggy? David and I laughed and we were like yeah we really do.

That?s such a teenager move! How are they so damn mean at that age? The self centeredness really comes through when they?re teens and they often don?t realize you don?t have to say everything you think. I like how Amanda reasoned that her daughter didn?t mean it the way it came across, like Frances was genuinely wondering how it felt to no longer be young and hot. There?s a learning curve, but once you know what teenagers are like you are emotionally equipped to deal with how rude they can be. They can be gently corrected and that?s all I?ll say about that. It?s more interesting to me that David Benioff works in a closet because his wife thinks his chair is ugly. Maybe he?ll get an office once Frances is out of the house.

Amanda Peet is 44 years old, which is just slightly older than I am, and I assumed she was about five years younger than me. Maybe that’s because she doesn’t have that ageless “LA face” (credit: Lainey) that so many women in Hollywood are sporting. Amanda doesn’t look tight, pulled or filled and that’s a definite choice she’s made. In a new interview on Maria Menuous’s Sirius XM show, Amanda likened doing injectables to trying cocaine, saying that she hasn’t done either because she’s too scared:
“I’ve never gotten Botox or fillers,” [Amanda Peet] said on SiriusXM’s “Conversations with Maria Menounos.” “I’ve never done anything to my face that’s ‘invasive.’ ”
And Peet has no plans to start.
“I think it has a lot to do with having two girls,” she said of her decision to forgo injectable face treatments. “Maybe I’m afraid. I’m afraid?it’s like I’ve never done cocaine either!”
While she’s ruled out Botox, Peet admits to getting other beauty treatments.
“I’ve certainly spent a lot of time and money doing other stuff, and I certainly am vain!”
While she may be “vain,” she’s definitely not self-conscious. When her role on Togetherness calls for nudity, Peet has no reservations.
“I’ve been known to take my clothes off,” she said. “I’m not precious about it.”

I live in the US South and the only time I see Botoxed and filled faces is when I visit my son’s dad in Berlin. No one does it around here, but I imagine that it’s very normalized in the cities on the west coast especially. When your friends are getting bigger lips at the strip mall down the block it’s got to be hard to resist. I always buy something at those product parties people have, I doubt I’d be able to go to a Botox party and be like “I’m good.” So kudos to Amanda for bucking the trend. Sometimes she’s a little too fresh-faced on the red carpet for my taste, but that’s absolutely her choice and she looks great. I just like to glam it up when possible and I love makeup. I totally would have had Botox and probably fillers already if I lived in a city where my friends were doing it.

Bouncing right back after giving birth to a baby girl, Amanda Peet attended the New York City premiere of her new indie comedy, "Please Give," on Tuesday (April 27).
The "Saving Silverman" actress looked marvelous in a black dress and heels as she posed for pictures and talked to press before heading inside for the screening.
Just eight days ago, Amanda and screenwriter husband, David Benioff, welcomed daughter, Molly, into this world. The couple already has a 3-year-old daughter named Frances together.
Of the very new addition to the family, Peet told Us magazine, "She's great. I'm in love with her!"

Overseas promoting her latest work, Amanda Peet was on-hand at the 60th Berlin International Film Festival in Berlin, Germany on Tuesday (February 16).
Showing off her baby bump, the expecting actress joined co-stars Catherine Keener and Rebecca Hall for a photocall and the premiere of “Please Give”.
In the movie, Miss Peet plays a character named Mary, who “hates her grandmother even though the two acid-tongued relations are more similar than they would care to admit.”
Talking about the role, Amanda dished, “I definitely feel like there are people that are just filled with bile at a certain point after a certain tragedy. I think mostly people that I know that are like this are older, like my grandmother (in the film).”

Adding to the large number of expecting celebrities, Amanda Peet is pregnant again!
The actress’s rep has confirmed that she and husband, screenwriter David Benioff, are anxiously awaiting their second child together.
The 36-year-old had daughter Frances “Frankie” Pen in 2007, who was named after her mother , Penny.
“I’m trying not to think about what the world will be like when she grows up,” she said. “I think more about when is she going to start drinking and wearing a G-string and how can I stop those things from happening.”
And, with motherhood comes the unexpected. “One surprise of motherhood for me was how little control I have. I thought it would be an extended, blissful romance with me at the helm, cuddling this little creature to life. It’s been bittersweet and humbling to let her lead, and to try not to be perfect myself.”

| Amanda Peet: I want Gisele Bundchen or Jennifer Aniston's body | Added 15 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

I hope I?m not alone in loving Amanda Peet. She?s been one of my girl crushes for years, solidified by her overlooked performance in the now tragically cancelled television show Studio 60 On the Sunset Strip. She and Bradley Whitford had so much chemistry together! I was looking forward to seeing where they?re relationship was going.
Despite my laments, Peet has never really broken into Hollywood in a big way. I still have hopes that someone will see the light and hire her for the role of Stephanie Plum, based on the book-to-screen adaptations of Janet Evanovich?s books. Amanda would be an excellent Stephanie - she looks the part exactly. But instead she?s stuck playing ?the girl? in a big ugly disaster movie, 2012. Which is what she?s promoting with this Self Magazine cover story:
Amanda Peet is currently starring in a blockbuster movie (2010), has a talented husband (screenwriter David Benioff), an adorable daughter, and looks that land her on the cover of magazines.
So what more could she want?
“I want boobs, a gentle six-pack and a perky butt,” the actress, 37, tells the December issue of Self.
In fact, she even has a specific woman’s figure in mind. “If I could choose an ideal body, I?d take Gisele Bndchen?s,” says Peet. “I challenge anyone to say she wouldn?t want Gisele?s body, deep down.”
She then adds, “Actually, I?d take a number of people?s bodies. I?d take Jennifer Aniston?s, too.”
Still, when it comes to her keeping herself in shape, Peet doesn’t obsess. “To me staying healthy means doing everything in moderation,” she tells the magazine. “Eat a lot of greens, but in moderation. Exercise, but in moderation. Drink wine, but in moderation. Sleep as much as you can. And have people around you who are very funny.”
Peet gets plenty of laughs during date nights with Benioff. Typically, the pair stay home, order in food, and watch TV shows including South Park, Seinfeld, and The New Adventures of Old Christine.
“I?m obsessed with Julia Louis-Dreyfus,” she admits. “If she knew how much she was in my household late at night or in the wee hours of the morning, she might be disturbed! David and I both have a crush on her.”
[From People]
I?d take Gisele?s body too - she has the kind of figure where you know most of it is genetic. My only qualm about Jennifer?s body (not referencing that Megan Fox movie) is that Jennifer seems to really have to work at it through lots of exercise and the neverending Zone diet. Gisele looks like she still eats hot dogs and corn chips.
Amanda also discussed parenting her gorgeous, adorable daughter Frankie, saying: ??You have to put your oxygen mask before you put on others?. It?s a good metaphor for parenting, but it?s really hard to do sometimes. A lot of women feel that if they?re exerting energy in different areas of their life or are really passionate about other things, it?s automatically detrimental to the child.? Janet Evanovich, find this woman and make her play Stephanie Plum already!
