Not since Susan Boyle?s ?I Dreamed a Dream? has anyone sat in the number one spot for six weeks, until now.
?Recovery? has deemed Eminem as the only artist to cross the double-platinum line this year.

She?s mounting a lawsuit against the ?Gathering of the Juggalos? organizers, but Tila Tequila was apparently warned about the possibility of danger before she took the stage.
The event staff told press, "Ms. Tequila was made aware, in advance, of her unpopularity with many Juggalos at the Gathering, but she insisted on performing."
Organizers also noted that Tila was paid for the gig ahead of time and was told she could keep her fee if she decided not to perform. ?She [was told she] could leave the stage the minute that she felt uncomfortable.?
But Tequila stayed too long. "After several minutes, she even removed her top, exposing herself, which seemed to mock and further antagonize the crowd. Finally, Gathering security pulled her off of the stage."

Bouncing from one great film to the next, Drew recently opened up about another upcoming movie called ?Whales.?
"I?m going to do that this fall in Alaska," she said of the film, which is based on the 1989 book: "Freeing the Whales: How the Media Created the World's Greatest Non-Event."
Ms Barrymore is set to play a mammal-loving Greenpeace activist and promises that she will ?pour myself into it.?

Bouncing from one premiere to the next, Angelina Jolie was spotted at the CineStar movie theatre in Berlin, Germany on Wednesday evening (August 18).
The ?Mr and Mrs Smith? actress has been making the rounds promoting ?Salt? and looked to be enjoying herself signing autographs and talking with press ahead of the big screening.
On Monday, while speaking to press in London?s Leicester Square, Jolie revealed, ?I always enjoy London and this is amazing. It means so much when everybody comes out.?
The brunette beauty also revealed she had brought her two youngest children with her while Brad looked after the eldest four at home, telling, ?I brought the babies. I?m having some special baby time.?

I really shouldn?t come out against OK! Magazine. They?re trying, they?re doing their best to be both an ass-kissing budget People Mag, while still retaining the cheap, cheesiness of a tabloid like Star Magazine. OK does get some exclusives, mostly from Kendra Wilkinson and the Kardashians, and occasionally they break a decent story. But I?ve been hearing for months that OK is on the verge of bankruptcy, and that there isn?t enough money coming in to support this schizophrenic half-tabloid/half-celebrity-ass-kiss magazine. So how, I wonder, are they going to get $1 million for Lindsay Lohan?s interview?
That?s right. According to many sources, Lindsay has sold her first post-jail/post-rehab interview to OK Magazine. For $1 million! Oh, this crackhead.
Lindsay Lohan has been offered $1 million for her first post-jail interview by OK! magazine, sources tell the Hollywood Reporter. She is also set to collect a slew of appearance fees and paychecks for stories of her time inside.
The first interview could come sooner than expected as Lindsay is set for an early release from rehab, possibly later this week. She left jail and entered rehab on August 2 and was supposed to stay for 90 days.
Doctors reportedly think her drug and psychiatric problems require less inpatient care than previously thought, but a judge will have to sign off on an early release from her rehab sentence.
While Lindsay will be shooting two low-budget films (’Inferno’ and ‘Machete’) after rehab, her real source of income will be non-film work, sources tell THR. Just before her incarceration, Lindsay shot a series of Facebook greeting card messages and did several nearly-nude photo shoots.
She also tweeted ads for money and did a paid milkshake shop appearance.

And that?s what all of this has been about - Lindsay needs to make some money. Lindsay needs to hustle. The crackhead is doing fine, according to Mother Crackhead, just as long as the money keeps coming in. Speaking of Mother Crackhead, I would love to know how she?s been supporting herself in this past year. Lindsay hasn?t had that much money coming in, and I have no idea if she?s been paying Dina?s bills all this time.

CB put me on high alert about an hour ago that Angelina Jolie was at the Berlin premiere of Salt, and that she was wearing, in CB?s words, ?a black tube sack?. We?ve both studied the photos, and I can say with pleasure that La Jolie is not, in fact, wearing yet another black strapless ?tube sack?. It?s a black halter sack, and it is not all that great. It reminds me a lot of the white Marc Bouwer Angelina wore to the Oscars in 2004 (I know, I know - I have an encyclopedic memory for crap like this) - only the Bouwer dress was cut on a bias around the hips, so it gave what was, in fact, a “sack dress” an illusion of structure. This dress has no such illusion. It’s just a shiny sack.
I can?t even start with La Jolie. She wore a nice jewel tone and everything just a few hours ago! She hasn?t worn black at all for her European tour, and now she?s fallen back into her comfort zone. As others have pointed out, and I agree, Angelina is not now and never was some kind of fashionista. Her red carpet looks have always been? let?s just call them ?hit or miss?. I much prefer her style when she?s doing UNCHR stuff in NYC or Washington - nice suits, great coats and sweaters and pencil skirts. She should bring some of that to the red carpet, in my opinion. It?s not against the law to wear separates on the red carpet. Because La Jolie is in a major ?evening/cocktail? rut.
And the stringy hair - don’t even get me started. Although, just to defend: CB says it was pouring in Berlin a few hours ago, so maybe she got caught in the rain?
By the way, what’s that one dude doing? He looks like he’s contemplating tying Angie to some train tracks.

I?ve been mean and harsh about Angelina?s style throughout her entire world-wide Salt promotion. In my defense, her clothing has been particularly crappy. In Angelina?s defense, I?m sure she has other priorities, and she looks like she?s actually putting some (but not a lot of) effort into her style. In the past few days, she?s worn two God-awful dresses back-to-back - the glittery, neutral-toned potato sack (tied with ribbon) in London, and then the ill-fitting glittery white cocktail dress last night in Paris. Today it?s Berlin, and we?re finally getting a jewel tone!
Her dress seems to be a very pretty navy-purple (it?s changing colors in different light, whatever). Somewhere between an amethyst and a sapphire. Bless her heart. My complaint, because I?m such a bitch even though I love her? I think Demi Moore wore this dress months ago. That?s not the worst move Angelina could be making, honestly. She and Demi have similar coloring, and in theory, Demi?s style would work well on Angelina. So? applause? Eh. Even though the color is awesome, I still think Angelina doesn?t look all that hot here. Maybe it?s jet-lag?
By the way, in case you want more Angelina dirt - the National Enquirer is running a story about her mental problems (?Angelina?s Psycho Trauma?) and Star Magazine?s cover story this week is all about Angelina is ?bored with Brad? because ?he?s no fun in bed anymore.? The singer’s habits of wearing the same outfit for several days and rarely washing her hair are said to have infuriated Jason Trewick, who recently refused to go out in public with her until she took off a dirty dress.
A source said: “Britney isn’t the type to cover herself in pretty smelling lotions.
“She hates washing her hair, so sometimes it can smell downright sour. She’ll sometimes grab an outfit and wear it two or three times in a week.
“Recently she put on a sundress for the third day in a row, but Jason refused to leave the house with her until she put on something else.
“Thankfully she’s trying more now because even she knows you couldn’t think of a more embarrassing reason for a relationship to break down.”
According to pals, Britney – who was recently pictured in the same orange vest twice in the space of a few days – has always taken a lax attitude to her appearance.
The source added to heat magazine: “It’s just plain laziness. She was the same when she was married to Kevin Federline.”

While on the red carpet for The Switch, the people at E! asked Jennifer Aniston about Bill O’Reilly’s comments against her pro-single mother stance. Her roundabout kind of stilted answer seemed like a giveaway that she didn’t write the initial brilliant statement responding to Bill’s criticism. (Or maybe she did and just isn’t as practiced at speaking off the cuff.) Aniston isn’t the most skilled when it comes to giving quotes, and I guess she was trying to say that Bill wasn’t either. It came off as a little ironic.
How caught off guard were you with the Bill O’Reilly comment?
I think as caught off guard as anybody would be in reaction to hearing such a rude sort of comment towards you and other women, but you know, I think people like that must not know any better, because if they heard how they sounded I’m sure they wouldn’t - they were trying to make a point - speak that way.
Now who needs to hear how they sound? I guess she’s saying that Bill didn’t really mean that, but it’s hard to tell and doesn’t make sense to me. It’s not a decent point anyway, because pundits like O’Reilly talk smack for a living. They know exactly what they’re saying, they just say things we don’t agree with. It’s not like they “don’t know any better,” they seem to believe these things and it’s their job to tell us about it. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, Aniston needs to work with someone to teach her how to give coherent talking points. People listen to what she says and she needs to be more polished in interviews. She did a decent job promoting The Bounty Hunter and seems to have improved in interviews in the past couple of years. Her job may not involve talking every day like O’Reilly, but it’s a critical part of promoting her films and I’d like to see her get better at it. I agree with her initial point, and I did agree with her follow-up statement, but this subsequent comment is so muddled that I have no idea what to think.
For those of you who will say it’s unfair to judge her based on red carpet interviews - this is part of her job. Some celebrities are better at speaking off the cuff than others, but there are surely people who can coach them on giving answers to anticipated questions. This was a huge news item and she should have prepared a more coherent answer to this question. It’s like she wasn’t even aware enough of the statement her people issued to simply phrase it in her own words or quote from it again.

I won’t buy a celebrity magazine for random wedding or baby pictures usually, but I love to look at my “friend’s” photos on Facebook. It’s not just wedding photos, I love baby pictures, showers, drunken college parties and vacation photos. I don’t know most of these people as I just have one Facebook account for Celebitchy. (Add me as a friend and I’ll check out yours. The other day I was checking out someone’s birthday vacation to Chicago, where she caught a Cubs game and took in the sights. I’m mentioning it to see if she reads this story.)
Anyway I knew when we saw just those blurry faraway photos of Hilary Duff’s wedding to hockey player Mike Comrie that she must have optioned the photos to a celebrity outlet. OK! Magazine has them, and Hilary looks really lovely on the cover. (If not a little ‘toxed and/or Photoshopped.) The cover promises to have “exclusive photos” and an interview with Hilary. I’ll buy the exclusive photos part, but I’m thinking the interview isn’t that extensive. Maybe I’m just so used to OK!’s bait and switch covers that I’m having trouble giving them props for an exclusive piece that they surely paid good money for. Hilary Duff’s big day began all wrong, but it certainly didn’t end that way.
“I started my day with a chipped tooth!” she reveals in the new issue of OK! “My wedding planner snuck me out to the dentist! Thank goodness it was fixed within the hour.”
Fortunately, everything else went smoothly for the 22-year-old bride as she tied the knot with Mike Comrie last weekend in Santa Barbara, Calif.
Walking down the aisle in front of about 100 guests, Duff wore a Vera Wang gown with an organza mermaid look that was adorned with giant blossoms while carrying a bouquet of blush dahlias.
“There are not even words to describe it,” says the starlet about her dress. “It’s exactly what I imagined, plus 10 times better.”
Duff says she also abided by the tradition of wearing something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue.
“I wore blue underwear and borrowed all of the jewelry [from Van Cleef & Arpels], and the something old was my great-grandmother’s cameo, which I wore on the inside of my dress. The dress itself was new.”
Upon exchanging vows, the newly married couple joined their loved ones under a muslin tent for the reception, which, according to Duff, featured truffled corn ravioli, pepper-crusted rib-eye steak and miso-glazed black cod, as well as a dessert station that included ice cream sandwiches with hot fudge dipping sauce.

That must have freaked Hilary out to no end to have chipped a tooth on her wedding day! Thank goodness she was able to get it fixed right away and I wonder if it was even noticeable. Also, I love food “stations” at weddings! I once went to a wedding with different chinese food stations ahead of, unbeknownst to me, the main meal. I walked around and filled up and then we sat down for a few courses.
OK! has two photo sneak peeks of Hilary’s wedding on their site, a picture of the reception set up and a photo of her shoes overlaid with a couple of her diamond accessories. The reception looks gorgeous, with multiple understated chandeliers, lots of draped fabric, and Pink and yellow rose bouquets. It must have been such a special day. I wish she was my friend on Facebook so I could just see the pictures there and look at all her friends’ comments on how drunk they got.
There’s a little more gossip on Hilary. US Weekly reports that she had a prenup with her new husband, who is a multi-millionaire hockey player in his own right and comes from a wealthy family with a furniture empire. An insider says “It was a totally amicable agreement. They love each other very much and knew this was just a technicality.” That was smart, and good for them. People get married thinking it’s going to last forever, but the truth is that we all have about 50/50 odds - maybe a little better but it’s smart to be prepared.

Always busy expanding her business endeavors, Paris Hilton celebrated the launch of her latest offerings at Tryst Nightclub in Las Vegas on Tuesday night (August 17).
The former "Simple Life" star was joined by parents Rick and Kathy Hilton as she posed for pictures while boosting interest in her Spring 2011 shoe collection and latest fragrance called Tease.
Meanwhile, recent reports tell that Paris is hoping to test her luck in the family business by opening up her own hotel chain.
She tells FOX News, "I've pretty much done all you can do, but my next project that I'd like to do is get more involved in real estate ? just from being in the business and growing up in it my whole life, it's always something I've been interested in."

Trading in her East Coast surroundings for some SoCal fun, Whitney Port was spotted out in West Hollywood last night (August 17).
The ?City? chick looked to be enjoying some time with her boyfriend Ben Nemtin as they attended an event at Kitson before grabbing dinner with friends.
And though her MTV reality gig is still in question, Whitney is already packing her schedule with a new venture.
According to a report, Ms. Port will be working with a new show called ?Hollywood is Like High School With Money,? and she?ll appear in at least one episode. Port?s Whitney Eve fashion line will also be featured in the show.

Apparently, Robert Pattinson recently completed filming on Water for Elephants. So what?s a Sparklepants to do? Go home to England and get wasted with his buds? Or tag along with Kristen Stewart, his girlfriend, while she begins filming for On the Road? I think we know what Robert decided - after all, he?s a good boyfriend, and he?s totally in love with Kristen?s eye-rolling, lip-biting angsty ass. Kristen is playing Mary Lou, Jack Kerouac?s fictional take on Neal Cassidy?s first wife Luanne Henderson. By the way, Garrett Hedlund is playing Dean Moriarty (Neal Cassidy) and Sam Riley is playing Sal Paradise (Kerouac). But I digress - Pattinson is going ?on the road? with Kristen, so they?re still together and still in love and everybody?s so happy and sparkly!
From French Canada to Hollywood, no couple gets more attention than Twilight’s Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, who returned to Los Angeles Tuesday after a trip to Montreal.
Pattinson, 24, and Stewart, 20, were both wearing shades and dressed low-key, with Pattinson carrying a guitar in a case on his back. The young A-listers were mobbed by fans and cameramen as they returned from the Canadian city, where Stewart had been working on her latest film, On the Road.
Need proof these two are box office gold? As of Tuesday, the pair’s latest film, Eclipse, had taken in almost $300 million in the U.S., less than two months after its release.

I like that Pattinson visits Kristen on-set and even has the audacity to kiss and nuzzle her in public (photos here), because you know she hates that sh-t. She?s all ?get a room, Sparklepants.? I also like that he doesn?t seem to worry about the optics of traveling with her while she works and all of that - he seems to be the one devoted to the relationship, I think. I also love that he travels with his guitar. That?s so? cute. And young. Between the guitar, and flannel motif, and the ?Che? shirt, I feel like it?s 1996 all over again. Sigh? Sparklepants.

Enjoying her first visit to Japan, Julia Roberts was spotted doing some press duties in Tokyo earlier today (August 18).
The ?America?s Sweethearts? babe looked lovely as she attended a promotional event for ?Eat Pray Love? at the Ritz Carlton Hotel.
During her interview, Julia explained that though her new project has a very spiritual theme, she doesn?t talk about her own beliefs very often.
Roberts said, "I've realized something my mother told me 22 years ago. You're an actor, act. Don't talk about politics or religion."

Previously, we?ve done some substantial coverage of the new, as-yet-unreleased film, The Black Swan. It was directed by Darren Aronofsky (The Wrestler, Requiem for a Dream), and it stars Natalie Portman, Mila Kunis and my French lover Vincent Cassel. Initially, the script for this thing leaked very early, and the basic plot was always known - Natalie plays the star ballerina, with Vincent Cassel playing the director/mentor/lover/tormentor role. Natalie disintegrates, and Mila Kunis, a rising star in the ballet world, enters her life. Crazy, druggy lesbian sex ensues. Maybe. This was also the film where Natalie met her current boyfriend, ballet dancer Benjamin Millepied, certified hottie. Anyway, the trailer was just released and it looks? f-ck, it looks really good.
CASSEL!!!! Oh, I?m so SO happy there?s so much Cassel in this trailer, because it gives me hope that there?s lots of Cassel in the film. Mila Kunis looks pretty awesome too - it?s nice to see her playing an interesting, dark dramatic role with a challenging director, and judging her solely by the trailer, it looks like she held her own. Natalie? well, she?s doing a good job of looking kind of crazy and strung out. Thoughts? Would you still see this movie even though Natalie is kind of a smug bitch in real life? I would. But I?m doing it for Cassel and Mila.

I would want to smack 17-year-old Taylor Momsen if she wasn?t so unintentionally hilarious. She constantly reminds me of Megan Fox, actually. Both Megan and Taylor are really, epically stupid little girls who think they are absolutely brilliant, and, like, the most original artists EVER. Both have a way with soundbytes and both try to front like they?re seriously hard bitches when you can tell that both of them would probably rather be curled up in bed with The Babysitters Club collection. Anyway, Taylor has given an interview to Spin Magazine (excerpts at Spin here), and she?s her usual HARDCORE RACCOON self. What does this week?s Poseur Provocateur have to kvetch about? How she dresses like a ?high-class hooker? and how people think she?s a drug-addicted ?crazy f-ckin? psycho? and how Rihanna sucks. Um? Team RiRi. Here are the highlights:
Taylor on how she?s not a role model: ?I am not a role model.? That’s what Momsen told SPIN over lunch in a New York City diner, after arriving dressed in thigh-high black nylons and itty-bitty jean shorts with her bleached-blonde hair cascading over skinny shoulders, a look she describes as “high-class hooker.” “I dress for myself,” she says. “Clearly, it’s provocative, but it makes me feel good. And if the only reason it makes someone uncomfortable is because I’m 17, then that person’s a scumbag because it shouldn’t matter.”
What She’s Not: A “drug addict,” a “crazy f-ckin’ psycho who’s gonna end up in the gutter next week,” or a rebel. “I’m figuring out who I am and what I want to be doing,” she says.
Ooh, a sodomy reference! ?On the Pretty Reckless’ debut, Light Me Up, Momsen wails about getting damaged (the dive-bar anthem “My Medicine”), disrobing (the propulsive “Goin’ Down”) and fessing up to some “not-okay” urges (”Light Me Up”). Elsewhere, she sings, “I’ll let you in through the back door” on a song that could just be about a house party. Right??
On how her ?bad experiences? have f-cked her up: When asked about the basis for these suggestive lyrics, the otherwise chatty Momsen chooses her words carefully. “I’m not really sure how to answer properly yet,” she admits. “I’ve had a lot of bad experiences, and whether that’s from sex or drugs or something else, they are adult experiences that would f-ck anyone up.”
On how Rihanna sucks: Momsen is very protective of what she considers “rock,” a word she uses frequently. “People think pop is rock, and the lines are getting blurred. Now Rihanna’s wearing f-ckin’ leather jackets, and it’s really annoying.”
Music keeps Taylor ?young? (at 17 years old, mind you): “I was at a point where I was getting up and going to work, but I was drained,” she says. “Gossip Girl gave me a platform to make this happen faster, and I’m grateful, but if I’m not doing something that makes me happy, then I’m dying. Music keeps me young.”
Taylor speaks the truth: “I know nobody wants to like our music. Online, people said, ‘I really wanted to hate [the EP] but I like it.’ I hope things continue on that path. But I’ll be making more records whether people are listening to them or not.”

Just a few corrections I?d like to make to Taylor?s comments: first of all, you do not look like a ?high class? hooker. You look like a cracked-out hooker who sells her body for rock and eyeshadow. And yes, it makes me ?uncomfortable? and thus, I am a ?scumbag?. So sue me, I don?t like that there are millions of photos of your coked-out panda face everywhere, showing off your panties and your bra and your thigh-highs. It?s been done before and it?s been done better. Also: a leather jacket does not equal ?rock?. If Rihanna is not hardcore enough for you, fine. But don?t make it about a leather jacket, for God?s sake. One more thing: I don?t doubt that you?ve ?had a lot of bad experiences, and whether that’s from sex or drugs or something else, they are adult experiences that would f-ck anyone up.” I think you?ve probably had f-cked up teenage sex, probably with one of those creepy middle-aged dudes in your band, and I think you?ve probably also done drugs. These are not particularly enriching experiences, whether you?re a teenager or whether you?re in your 30s. The difference? Your mom should not be allowing any of this.

A source tells London press. "A friend of a friend had a brilliant place in North London going and, after two viewings, they decided to go for it - and put an offer in."
The insider adds, "Now it's just a matter of getting the offer accepted, signing the paperwork and exchanging contracts. Both of them are really happy. Things are going great."

The E! reality sisters happened to be making an appearance on the '"Chelsea Lately" show as they promoted the upcoming season of their reality show "Keeping up with the Kardashians".
Tweeting about the outing, Kim wrote, "Getting ready to do Chelsey Lately. Kourts wearing black, but I'm thinking maybe a nude colored dress? To mix it up? What do u guys think?"
Jumping in, Kourtney tweeted, "Backstage at chelsea lately with @KimKardashian.Getting glammed for the show and doing a little book editing.Muti tasking is my middle name."
As for their show, the fifth season is set to kick off on E! this Sunday (August 22) at 10/9C.

Making their way back to the States, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart returned together from a long weekend in Montreal as they touched down at LAX Airport in Los Angeles on Tuesday (August 17).
Sporting a checked shirt, Wayfarer sunglasses, jeans and Converse sneakers, the Bella Swan babe led the way as her Edward Cullen actor beau followed along while carrying his own guitar on his back clad in Adidas sneakers, green trousers, a jacket and a Bob Marley printed t-shirt.
After getting into their awaiting car together, Kristen showed her displeasure over the paparazzi as she flipped her middle finger before leaving the crowded metro airport.
Having been staying up in Montreal as Kristen films "On the Road," Robsten reportedly enjoyed dinner together at the swanky Canadian eatery Le Club Chasse et Pche.
Of the romantic outing, a source tells, ?They were smiling and looked really happy, laughing through dinner."

Her career has really taken off these past couple months, and now Brooklyn Decker has been cast in an upcoming film called ?Battleship.?
The Sports Illustrated swimsuit model will star alongside Rihanna, Taylor Kitsch, and Alexander Skarsgard.
The film which will be out in theaters in May 2010, is being director by Peter Barg and is based on the adaptation of Hasbro?s naval combat board game.
Production for the film will begin in a few weeks in Hawaii, where Brooklyn recently shot scenes for the upcoming ?Just Go With It? starring Jennifer Aniston, Adam Sandler and Nicole Kidman.
