Taking care of some last minute Valentine?s Day preparations, LeAnn Rimes hit up Susie Cakes in Calabasas, California for some gourmet cupcakes yesterday (February 14).
Clad in a red top and black trousers, the ?How Do I Live? singer also paid a visit to Planet Beauty for some new makeup along the way.
In legal news, LeAnn has filed a lawsuit against her dentist for giving her the wrong veneers and crowns, leading to nine root canals, bone grafting, and a host of other complications.
Rimes claims Dr. Duane C. McKay?s errors caused ?severe tooth pain, gum inflammation, and chronic gum bleeding.?
She also maintains her "ability to perform as an artist has been and will continue to significantly compromised until all re-treatment is completed," and she?s seeking an undisclosed amount of money.

Paris Hilton is really in love this time (I think?) with her 21-year-old Spanish boyfriend, River Viipiri. Even though she’s a full decade older, Paris is apparently ready to tie the knot with this dude even though they’ve only been dating since October; but she’s really serious about him, apparently, because she sits through his fashion shows and everything. Now a 10 year age difference might not be such a big deal later in life, but I think 10 years is a pretty big difference when the younger party is 21. The good news (if there is any) here is that Paris’ mental age stalled around 21. So who knows, they might be perfect for each other, and Paris reportedly popped the question to River, who said something like, “Sure, why not?”
FADED star Paris Hilton has proposed to her toyboy beau River Viiperi, according to a new report.
The reality star, 31, she’s ready to settle down with the dashing Spanish model, 21, who she has dated since the pair met during New York’s Fashion Week in September.
“Paris asked for River’s hand because so many of her friends are engaged or already married with kids, and she didn?t want to be some sad, old loser left on the shelf,” revealed a pal.
“It’s incredibly impulsive because they’ve only been together a few months, but Paris believes River is the one.
“He’s given her an enthusiastic yes, but they’re keeping the engagement quiet for now.
“Paris can see he’s a good influence. He’s very easygoing and knows how to calm her down when something annoys her.
“She feels her wild-child days are behind her and wants the comfort that comes with marriage.
“Paris feels she has finally found Mr. Right, even if he is a decade younger.”

You can criticize Natalie Portman for a lot of things, but she has excellent taste in costars. Natalie has had a long-gestating project languishing for the better part of six or seven months. The project is a western called Jane Got a Gun, and Natalie is not only the star, she?s the producer. One of Natalie?s first costars to sign on was none other than Michael Fassbender, because of course. I heard a few weeks ago that Joel Edgerton has also signed on to the film, and he?s incredibly hot too. And just last week a new addition made the casting rolls: hottie Rodrigo Santoro. The problem? Apparently Natalie used to date Rodrigo (which I have no memory of) and she was the one to recommend him for the job. And Natalie?s husband Benjamin Millepied is NOT happy.

Here are some new photos of Jessica Simpson and her fianc/baby-daddy in LA yesterday. Eric took her to lunch for Valentine?s Day. You know what?s kind of funny/crazy? Jessica Simpson, Kim Kardashian and Duchess Kate are all due around the same time. This just shows you how different women with different body types ?show? in completely different ways. Kim has gotten wider but she still doesn?t have much of a bump. Jessica has popped early, as she did with her first pregnancy. And Kate barely has a bump at all. As for Jessica?s weight gain? I really hope everyone isn?t going to start yelling at her. Stop yelling at pregnant women for the weight they gain. It?s just rude. With or without the slutty brownies, Jessica is always going to look super-preggo. That?s just her body type.
Now, as for Eric? what does he do all day? I still don?t know. A few years ago, there were stories about Jessica putting him into some kind of managerial position with her fashion empire, but I?m not sure if that ever panned out. I?m pretty sure Eric gets a paycheck from Jessica INC., I just don?t know what he does exactly. According to Star, Eric recently tried to be a ?designer? but it went nowhere.
Jessica Simpson?s fianc just went from failed NFL player to failed fashion designer. Jessica has scrapped plans to put baby-daddy Eric Johnson in charge of a new menswear line.
Jessica?s business partners reportedly hated Eric?s designs, which a fashion insider describes as a bland collection of jeans, khakis and t-shirts.
?Eric is no designer, that?s for sure,? the spy says. ?The idea of a men?s line was nixed as soon as the presentation meeting finished.?

These are photos of Kate Upton a few days ago in Las Vegas to promote her second consecutive Sports Illustrated: Swimsuit edition cover. I’m not crazy about this purple dress at all because this type of neckline isn’t terribly flattering on big-busts (and I speak from personal experience), and horizontal stripes aren’t flattering on anybody. Let alone a model that people seem to have it out for in terms of not being good enough. Over and over again, people have screamed out for models who don’t look like coat hangers, and now there’s been a ridiculous backlash towards this lovely, 20-year-old model for daring to have some flesh on her bones.
Indeed, Kate has already defended herself against pro-ana criticisms and insists that she loves her “healthy curves.” Personally, I think it’s pretty great that she’s quickly grown so successful in the past year while still being able to eat solid foods. But the criticism is back again this year with Kate’s new parka-boobs magazine cover, and she’s managing to gracefully dodge such questions. Also, her fellow SI models (including my favorite, Chrissy Teigen) are defending Kate — which means that the stories that they mean-girled her last year are either inaccurate or they’ve wised up and realized that Kate is here to stay for awhile — in a refreshing twist. Here are the details:
Sports Illustrated treated Kate Upton like a dumb blonde: The top model only learned she landed on the cover of the Swimsuit Issue when the news leaked online Friday. “I immediately called SI, and they were like, ?Don?t tweet anything!’” she told us at the issue’s official launch party Tuesday at Crimson. Upton’s on the cover for the second year in a row, and has bizarrely been bashed by some for her curvy body. “Everyone has the right to their own opinion,” she told us. “I am in a good place in my career, so it’s all right.”
While Upton brushed off criticism, her fellow bikini babes came to her defense. “Everyone is hyper-critical of women, and it’s got to stop,” Alyssa Miller said. “We should be embracing all body types.” Chrissy Teigen added, “I don?t think people realize we read everything.” While Upton was top dog, Katherine Webb — the SI babe and Miss Alabama who became famous as Brent Musburger?s obsession — turned almost as many heads. She was seen posing for pics with pageant-queen guests Alison Cronin and Brenna Mader.

Kate is still so very young, and it must be at least somewhat difficult to be in the public eye while certain people keep loudly insisting that you’re too fat to be a swimsuit model. Yet she manages to project a good-natured attitude about all of the nonsense, and she’s absolutely correct in that her career is on fire and that none of the criticism really even matters. In fact, she’s generating quite the conversation on body image, so I think we can count Kate as a modelling success on more notes than one.

Last week, Kristen Stewart scored her first official role (in a film that will actually be made) since she got caught up in The Great Mini-Coopering Scandal of 2012. The film is called The Big Shoe, and as I said last week, it doesn?t sound like Kristen?s role is anything special. She?s basically playing ?the girl? in a sort of weird black comedy, I think. Kristen?s costar (and the lead of the film) is Jim Sturgess, an actor I have occasionally referred to as ?the Pillow-Weeper?. Sturgess is English, he?s attractive in that way that many English guys are attractive, and he gives off super-sensitive vibes. Like, he?s the guy who cries after sex. Thus, The Pillow Weeper. Now, Kristen has already shown that she has a type (if we?re just relying on Sparkles). So has Kristen found her jumpoff?
Kristen Stewart will soon be filming The Big Shoe with Hollywood hottie Jim Sturgess. Robsten fans may have a reason to be nervous ? Jim possesses a lot of qualities that Kristen desires, and Robert Pattinson isn?t exactly a hundred percent sure he wants to reconcile with his Twilight co-star upon his return to the states.
A source close to Jim tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively, ?Jim was in town last week for pre-production meetings on his new movie with Kristen and they got along really well! I just thought you?d like to see the big Star Mag cover for The Great Waity Pregnant Bikini Photo Scandal of 2013. Here you go! I can?t jack the inside images, but it?s not really necessary because Star put the best ones on their cover anyway. You get the idea ? Kate, in profile, with a small baby bump and slightly larger boobs. There is one photo inside where there?s another angle and her bump looks a little bit bigger, but that?s about it. As for the ?photo flap? which ?riled the royals? ? I?ve been pleased to see that there has been some push-back against the royal family for their hissy fit regarding these pics. The general consensus ? amongst even the more conservative and pro-monarchy UK papers ? is that the royals are making a mountain out of a molehill and that the whole trumped up controversy is too ?precious? and William in particular needs to ?stop fussing?. Well done!

Appalled at the claim that Britney Spears did not actually sing on "Scream & Shout," the former "X Factor" judge's rep has quickly refuted the allegation.
On Tuesday (February 12), rapper Eve appeared on Bravo's "Watch What Happens Live" and when asked about Brit's accent in the song, she replied "I heard that might not be Britney."
Backpedaling a little after an audience and host Andy Cohen's overly-interested reaction, she added, "That's what I heard, but I don't know. It could be Britney."
According to Gossip Cop, the pop star's rep responded, "It's absolute B.S. Britney sang the song. Will.i.am wanted her for this song and she sang on it."
