The ?Good Luck Chuck? star looked cute and casual while she and her little girl ran errands and shared a loving kiss outside of a Rite Aid.
On the career front for Ms Alba comes a film called ?Machete? where she will play a woman named Sartana. The movie, which hits theaters on September 3rd also features Michelle Rodriguez, Robert De Niro and Lindsay Lohan.
Jess has also been working on 2010 films called, ?The Invisible Sign? and ?Little Fockers.?

Making the trip back home to SoCal, Kourtney Kardashian was spotted arriving at LAX International Airport earlier today (August 3).
Joined by her boyfriend/babydaddy Scott Disick and son Mason Dash Disick, the E! reality television star looked a bit tuckered out as she made her way to her chauffeured car.
Earlier in the day, Kourtney & Co. were seen catching a transcontinental flight out of JFK International Airport in New York City.
Ms. Kardashian was in town to scope out new locations for a DASH boutique. An inside source revealed, ?They are always looking? just to see what is available, but there are no plans at the moment.?

Tell me if you’ve heard this one before: 40-ish divorced woman is cynical about dating. Female First tells the tale as old as time, or at least as old as your spinster aunt:
Jennifer Aniston says “dating sucks”.
The ‘Bounty Hunter’ star – who has romanced several famous men, including Vince Vaughn and John Mayer, and was previously married to Brad Pitt – gets frustrated because her evenings with men are always so unpredictable.
And Jennifer has even left dates early because she was having such a bad time.
She told Britain’s OK! magazine: “Dating sucks. I just don’t understand it. I’ve been on dates where I had to excuse myself on the pretext of going to the bathroom and instead I wound up walking out the door of a restaurant. I think it’s better, when you first meet someone, to put yourself in situations where you can relax and be open and learn about the other person and not worry about what may and may not happen.”
Despite her romantic problems, the 41-year-old actress still believes her ‘Mr. Right’ is out there and she is confident she will meet the perfect man for her one day.
She said: “Love chooses you, so you have to be open to the package it’s delivered in. People have all these ideas about how and when it’s supposed to happen but you can’t predict it. I still want to experience the beauty that comes with that feeling about someone and going forward in life with a partner.”
Well, if “Love chooses you”, then I think the one thing that we can come away from this story is that Love is giving Jennifer Aniston the finger.

Jennifer Lopez is the cover girl for the September issue of Glamour magazine. Now, I still pretty much love Jennifer. I think she?s awesome, and awesomely horrible, all at once. She?s so much fun to write about, she?s so much fun to see on the red carpet, she?s still an insufferable diva, even after all of these years. She and Marc have been together for SIX years already. Can you believe it? And she?s still fighting the good fight for relevancy, and a September cover isn?t a bad way to fight, even if it is just Glamour. The full Glamour interview with Jennifer is here, and here are some of the highlights:
Jennifer Lopez on fantasy versus reality: I like to maintain a certain sense of fantasy in my life. I am kind of like that at home. Do I have the full hair and makeup? No. But I might have the nice dress on.
Jennifer Lopez on Chinese takeout: Marc actually loves Chinese a little too much. He?ll say, ?I?m really in the mood for Chinese.? I?m like, ?Again??
Jennifer Lopez on cooking: Marc doesn?t cook, but he will prepare an occasional turkey. I like to cook Puerto Rican food. That?s what I grew up on: rice, beans, meat, some Italian-American food. I know my way around the kitchen. We enjoy having that normalcy, because we don?t have that much of it. We really are a traveling gypsy family.
Jennifer Lopez on Marc: He?s concentrated on not being out there as much. I think that?s what a partnership is?you take the positives from both people and incorporate them. He helped me learn that there was a way to have more privacy and more stability in my life.
Jennifer Lopez on her ?maternity leave?: It?s funny?I don?t feel like I?ve been anywhere, except kind of on maternity leave. It?s been great, and I definitely feel renewed vigor for my career. I didn?t [plan on taking two years off]. In my mind I first felt like, Oh, I?ll be back to work right after the babies are born. But then you don?t want to. Even now, it?s very difficult for me to leave them in the morning. It just tortures me. I?m like, It?s been hours; are they wondering where I am? Do they know that I love them so much and I?m thinking only about them?
Jennifer Lopez on Marc as a father: He?s a passionate person, and he?s the same way with his kids, and I love it. When it comes to all his kids [including a daughter and sons from previous relationships], he?s mush, whatever they want.
Jennifer Lopez on being a strict parent: I?m the one who keeps everybody on schedule, like, Got to go to bed at this time, got to eat something?. I was talking about this with somebody?they asked, ?Do you still love working?? I said, ?I just do it quicker.? There?s no ?Go to the studio, have dinner, sit there.? I don?t have all the time in the world anymore.
Jennifer Lopez on getting back into shape post-pregnancy: I did the triathlon six months after the babies were born, and part of that was about giving myself a goal. Maybe it was an emotional thing: Like, that tiger?s still in there. But it takes a year [after pregnancy]. You?re not going to get slim in six weeks. For me, it?s been back and forth. Now, two years later, I feel really back to normal. I would [do it again] if I didn?t have to swim in the ocean. That really scared me! If it were in a pool, I?d do it again in a minute. It?s an amazing thing to push yourself and to accomplish a goal like that.
GLAMOUR: Does that apply to everything in your life?
Jennifer Lopez: I think so. I feel if in your mind you can do it, you can do it. You cannot doubt yourself. Doubt is a killer. You just have to know who you are and what you stand for.
GLAMOUR: But how do you dismiss doubt? Is it a friend that you turn to? Is it yourself? Is it working even harder?
Jennifer Lopez: I didn?t experience doubt until later in my life. When I was young, I was just about hard work. But as I got older, I did experience anxiety, doubt, judgment, and it?s so easy to lose yourself for a second. I always joke about letting the haters motivate you. Everybody has that in their life, people who doubt them or make them feel less than they are. It just takes faith and belief in yourself, and you?ve got to dig deep into that. That has to come from you?nobody?s going to give you that. You can have a great mentor, a great partner, a great love in your life who gives you confidence and makes you feel great about yourself. And that?s all wonderful, but at the end of the day, if you don?t believe it, all of that means nothing.
GLAMOUR: This has been such an inspiring time politically for Latinas, with the confirmation of Sonia Sotomayor to the Supreme Court. Have you met her?
Jennifer Lopez: We have. We actually had a dinner for her here at the house.
GLAMOUR: Wow. When she got confirmed?
Jennifer Lopez: Yes. It was so inspirational what she accomplished. My mom and sister were in Atlantic City with us on the [day she was confirmed]. Marc was still in bed, and he goes, ?It?s happening. She?s on the TV. She?s getting sworn in.? And she was standing there with her mom. I will never forget this moment: We all stopped and looked, and we all started crying. You just felt it. It was such a huge accomplishment to be the first Latina, to be from the Bronx, to be everything that she is. So we thought we had to do something nice and invited her over. And I told her, ?Just know that you make me want to be better. You make people realize that with hard work, living a good life, you can do anything. You will be rewarded for that.?
GLAMOUR: As a mom, you?re a role model for your kids. What do you want to tell Max about love and how to treat women?
Jennifer Lopez: I think about it a lot. I want to teach him respect and appreciation for women by being a great woman.
GLAMOUR: What will you tell Emme about love?
Jennifer Lopez: I was talking about it with one of my girlfriends?the day our daughters come to us at 19 years old saying, ?I want to get married.? And we know for damn sure that that?s not a good idea. Sometimes [Emme] is going to make mistakes, and she?s going to have to live through that, just like I did. I know my mother suffered with me through many things. I?m just going to be suffering on the sidelines.
GLAMOUR: Do you wish that some parts of your past weren?t so public?
Jennifer Lopez: I don?t regret what I?ve been through. I?ve had ups and downs, super highs and some really low lows. I?ve been so blessed that I could never say, ?I wish this didn?t happen.? It?s part of who I am. There?s nothing in my life that?s so ugh. Yes, there are some things that I?m like, Eww, but not where I?m worried about [Max and Emme] finding out. I?ll tell them myself. No secrets from them.
GLAMOUR: Your new album is titled Love? Why the question mark?
Jennifer Lopez: For me, love is the never-ending question. It is confusing. It is the answer, but it is also inundated with contradictions and complications. It?s about years of experience in different relationships, and kind of the culmination of that, and how even to this day, I?m still learning.

But I liked what Jennifer said about what she?ll be thinking when Emme wants to get married at 19, and I liked all the stuff about Marc. Stepping out for a promotional appearance, Eva Mendes was spotted at the New York City premiere of ?The Other Guys? last night (August 2).

It was either last year or the year before, Lara Flynn Boyle did a guest spot on Law & Order. She and her married lover had conspired to kill one of his friends and steal a bunch of money, and they got her in the end. I mention this because it took me most of the episode to realize that the actress was actually Lara Flynn Boyle. She was so utterly unrecognizable, it was crazy. Remember the old Lara? The one that f-cked Jack Nicholson for years and wore a ballerina tutu to the Golden Globes? The one that used to get criticized for being too thin? Yeah. Look at her now.
Now, before you say, ?Oh she just gained some weight? or ?She just filled out.? JUST NO. No, this is not just weight gain, although that is part of it, and on that point, I?m glad that she did gain some weight. Her body looks healthy, actually. But she has completely jacked her face to the point of puffy immobility throughout the years. Just watching her trying to move her mouth in these photos is causing me pain. Oh, Lara. Why?!? But after seeing this trailer for the film Trust, I?m kind of thinking they should fire their respective agents. This crap? as CB said, it looks like a made-for-TV movie. And not even a good-quality one, it looks like some crap for Lifetime. Guess who directed it? David Schwimmer. For real! As Dustin Rowles at Pajiba said, ?I don?t know what kind of amazing bee-jays this man gives??
God, why did Clive do this f-cking movie? Why don?t Hollywood directors get it? Women will pretty much watch anything with Clive, but they should throw us a bone and give us some Clive full-frontal nudity, y?know? Something where he looks rugged and dirty, and growls lines like ?You need to take off your panties right now? and ?Would you like a backrub, darling??
Back to this turd of a movie. Gawker calls it ?the dramatic equivalent of watching a ?To Catch a Predator? segment on Dateline, but with Clive Owen instead of Chris Hansen.? Pajiba made the interesting point that the Brits seem to love David Schwimmer, and maybe that?s why Clive signed on? But that still doesn?t explain why Catherine Keener did it. Maybe Schwimmer had some sort of blackmail scheme against her. Or maybe she just wanted Clive to touch her. So I?ll forgive Catherine for this one. I mean, just look at him.

In an interview with Vibe magazine, the ?Real Slim Shady? rapper explained, "It was crazy. It's crazy, because at one point, we were very close, and she was a really good person.?

Britney Spears will be releasing a new album in just a “few weeks”, according to producer Rodney ‘Darkchild’ Jerkins.
Britney’s label Jive confirmed back in March that she had begun work on her follow-up to 2008’s Circus, and now Jerkins has told UStream: “Britney fans are gonna be so happy in a few weeks.”
The as-yet-untitled album will be Britney’s seventh, and is expected to include contributions from producers including Danja and Predator Dub Assassins.

Well, good for her. Right? Is that the emotion we should be feeling? Because if I think too hard about it, I get sad that Britney is still in the public eye, and I start wishing she was at home in Louisiana, getting real help for her problems, rather than being trotted out to be a ?pop star?. Remember her last tour? It went off without Brit having a major breakdown, but Britney was definitely phoning it in. Emma Thompson and Maggie Gyllenhaal were the cover girls for the August issue of Good Housekeeping. I saw the issue but I always forgot to check out the interview for some reason. I should have known better - Emma is always a great interview, and she always has sh-t to say. Emma and Maggie are doing promotion for the Nanny McPhee movie, in which Emma revives the character she adapted for the screen. By the way, did you know that both Ralph Fiennes and Ewan Mcgregor are in the second film? True story. Anyway, through the course of the Good Housekeeping interview, Emma basically blasts the concept of ?having it all? - a great family, motherhood, a great career, etc. But Emma is not Gisele. She?s not looking down her nose at us. Instead, she?s saying she?s one of us, and that she has lots of problems too:
She has long juggled her work as an actress with raising a family. But Emma Thompson believes that no woman can have the perfect career and be a faultless mother - at the same time.
The 51-year-old Oscar winner, who has a ten-year-old daughter, said trying to ‘have it all’ rarely works well for anyone in a family. She argued that the only way to manage motherhood and a full-time job was by enlisting hired help, something she insists she won’t do.
Her intervention comes at a time when the idea of ‘having it all’ is under attack from working mothers who find themselves run into the ground as they chase an impossible dream. Even its most ardent cheerleaders such as novelist Fay Weldon are thinking again as they see the effects on family life.
A recent survey by Grazia magazine revealed that one in ten women who has had children wants to give up work completely. The debate was further fuelled by Samantha Cameron, who is expecting a child in September and quit her full time job as creative director of Smythson, where she has worked for 14 years, within days of her husband becoming Prime Minister.
Miss Thompson made the comments in the US edition of Good Housekeeping magazine with actress Maggie Gyllenhaal, with whom she stars in the forthcoming sequel to Nanny Mcphee.
The British actress is married to actor Greg Wise, 44, and in addition to ten-year-old Gaia they adopted a 16-year-old Rwandan refugee named Tindyebwa Agaba, who is now 23.
Speaking to Good Housekeeping, Miss Thompson said: ‘I don’t want your readers ever to think they have to have it all. I think that’s a revolting concept. It’s so false! Sometimes you’ll have some things, and sometimes you’ll have other things. And you do not need it all at once; it’s not good for you. You can’t be a great mum and work the whole time necessarily; those two things aren’t ideal.?
‘We have an awful lot to work on and to debate about in relation to our working lives, because it isn’t working for a lot of people, particularly for a lot of women. The only way you can have it all is by delegating all the running of the home to other people - which I don’t ever want to do… So you do it yourself, and it takes time and energy and effort. And if you give it the time, it’s profoundly enjoyable.’
Miss Thompson added that when she had Gaia at 41 she was still not a ‘grown up’ but the experience has forced her to mature very quickly.
She does not have a regular nanny and she and Wise take turns to work so one is always home with their daughter.
She added: ‘We’re all supposed to be happy all the time. What is that about? Why have we lost contact with the possibility of saying, “Do you know what? I can’t do that. Sorry, I can’t manage that as well.”‘
In the interview Miss Gyllenhaal, who is married to actor Peter Sarsgaard -with whom she has a three-year-old daughter, Romana, told how Miss Thompson had inspired her to put her husband first more in her life.

These are some new photos of Eva Mendes at The Other Guys premiere last night. I?m kind of ?meh? on her dress (which I think is Oscar de la Renta), but her styling is crap. As I?ve mentioned before, I never really know what to think of her. She always seems drunk or high on the red carpet, and she poses like she thinks she?s the sexiest thing ever - which is what she always talks about in interviews, how sexy she is. Eh. Also: is it just me or does her face look jacked? Is it just the way she?s making faces, or has Eva been ?Toxing? One more thing: Perez Hilton claims that Eva might have a sex tape about to hit the Internet today - because I guess her film is coming out and what better way to promote it, right? Bringing an end to their time on the East Coast, Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick were spotted arriving at JFK International Airport in New York City this morning (August 3).
Joined by their son, Mason Dash Disick, the ?Keeping Up with the Kardashians? characters looked to be in good spirits as they made their way through the terminal with a huge stack of designer luggage.
As for the Big Apple stay, it seems Kourtney has been scoping out possible locations for a new DASH store to open in New York City sometime in the future.
The Manhattan locale would add to the existing DASH stores in Miami and Los Angeles. An insider told press, ?They are always looking? just to see what is available, but there are no plans at the moment.?

Back in April of this year, Jeffrey Dean Morgan brought his mother and his girlfriend, Hilarie Burton, to the premiere of one of his films. I was surprised to see him with Hilarie Burton - she looks very young, and very? interchangeable with every other brunette chick on the CW. Several commenters pointed out that Hilarie and JDM hadn?t just started dating - they had been quietly ?seeing each other? for about a year, and that Hilarie had given birth to their baby. A few weeks later, Us Weekly confirmed the total random gossip and speculation that Hilarie had indeed given birth, and that everything had been very quiet and hush-hush, and that Hilarie basically went into hiding for a year. It was a really strange story. And it gets even weirder.
Hilarie just got a gig on White Collar, filming in New York. I guess the Associated Press sent a reporter out to ask her questions about JDM and the baby, and her answers were just? weird. Like, she got to bone JDM for more than a year, and she wants to front like she doesn?t want to brag about it! What the hell?
New mom Hilarie Burton (formerly of One Tree Hill) is breaking her silence — just a tad — about the baby boy she and boyfriend Jeffrey Dean Morgan (The Watchmen) secretly welcomed earlier this year.
As first revealed in Us Weekly in May, Burton, 28, began dating Morgan, 44, in 2009, and “their relationship moved pretty quickly,” an insider told Us. The actress was not photographed in public between May 6, 2009 and April 20, 2010, when she and Morgan went public with their romance at an L.A. film premiere.
Now back at work to film episodes of USA’s series White Collar in NYC, Burton told the Associated Press recently that she and Morgan are “really happy, and we’re a very good team. And we got very lucky that our family is what it is.”
But Burton still would not tell the AP the name of their son or his birth date.
“I want to protect them like a mama wolf should,” she explained of her new family.
Burton divorced One Tree Hill assistant director Ian Prange in 2008. It’s the first child for Burton, but not Morgan: he learned in March 2009 that he had a 5-year-old son with actress Sherrie Ross.

It?s not like Hilarie and JDM are some super-famous couple. In fact, the seeming weirdness of this situation probably gives them more press than if they had their publicists issue a short little announcement. She won?t even confirm the kid?s name?!? Oh, and maybe I could understand it if she was leaving Hollywood and she was just tired of the life, but she?s still acting! She?s on White Collar, for goodness sake. This whole thing is just so strange. Do you think it?s all about the sketchy timeline for when he and Mary-Louise Parker broke up? Are there more secret love children out there?

I?m totally embarrassed I missed these quotes from Gisele Bundchen when I was covering her Harper?s Bazaar UK cover yesterday. While Gisele did not discuss Bridget Moynahan, she did decide to ponitificate further about how she?s an amazing mother and how we could all learn at her feet (the feet of a perfect mother), and I totally missed the quotes. Ah, well. Better late than never, eh?
First, a little backstory on post-maternity Gisele: she?s an insufferable bitch. I know, I know. I like her too, and I think she?s interesting and she gives interesting interviews. But she?s also an insufferable bitch. She?s like the Brazilian Gwyneth Paltrow, always deigning to ?advise? the peasants how to live their lives. In her Vogue cover story earlier this year, Gisele talked about her maternity weight gain and how quickly she lost it, saying, ?I think a lot of people get pregnant and decide they can turn into garbage disposals. I was mindful about what I ate, and I gained only 30 pounds.? Then a month ago, Gisele claimed that her not even 7-month-old son Benjamin was already potty trained, because she?s an environmentalist: ?Diapers pollute the environment. Where does this garbage go??
Okay, so maybe she?s not as bad as Gwyneth. But wait until you read the excerpts from Bazaar:
Gisele Bundchen has risked the wrath of new mothers everywhere for the second time this year. The opinionated supermodel, who preached about pregnant women ‘treating their bodies like garbage disposals’ in March, has now voiced her views on the breastfeeding.
In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar magazine, the 30-year-old says, ‘I think breastfeeding really helped (me keep me figure). Some people here (in the US) think they don’t have to breastfeed, and I think “Are you going to give chemical food to your child when they are so little?” I think there should be a worldwide law, in my opinion, that mothers should breastfeed their babies for six months.’
The Victoria’s Secret model gave birth to son Benjamin Rein in December, and claims that the eight-hour natural birth ‘didn’t hurt in the slightest’.
Speaking in the September issue of the magazine, outspoken Bundchen says meditating prepared her to give birth to Benjamin.
‘It prepared me mentally and physically. It’s called ‘labour’ not ‘holiday’ for a reason, and I knew that,’ she says. ‘You want to go into the most intense physical experience of your life unprepared? That doesn’t make any sense to me. Then I was ready and I thought OK, let’s get to work. I wasn’t expecting someone else to get the baby out of me.’
The super-mum was up and about making pancakes the day after the birth, and famously modelled swimwear within six weeks.

Would I like to see a national, even an international discussion about breast-feeding? Sure. Would I like to see breast-feeding friendly laws go into effect everywhere? Uh-huh. Do I think breastfeeding is important? Yep, I do, but I have to admit something: I wasn?t breastfed as a baby, and I?m just fine. So are lots of babies who aren?t breastfed. Of course breastfeeding is awesome and the health benefits for the mother and the baby are incredible, but it?s also not the end of the world if a woman doesn?t breastfeed. I also think every woman has got to make that choice for herself and her baby, just like every woman has got to make her own choices about every part of her reproductive rights and her own body. Even if Gisele was just being hyperbolic - and I don?t even think she was, honestly - even putting that idea out there, to suggest that there should be laws demanding that women breastfeed - just ugh. I?ve said it before: Gisele needs to get a grip.

Making a UNIFEM sponsored trip to Haiti, Nicole Kidman took time to chat with press about her raising of daughter Sunday Rose.
Raising her two-year-old girl with country singing husband Keith Urban, the "Australia" actress emphasized her desire to teach Sunday to have a great "social conscience".
Nicole tells, ?It?s not what I get out of it. I feel like I can never put enough into it. The greatest thing my parents did was give me a social conscience. For someone like Sunday, for her to be able to be molded, I suppose, to have a very strong social conscience ? I would be so proud. I would hope for that. Keith and I are both very committed to that."
Also noting how much of a giving person Keith has become, Miss Kidman says, ?Keith has done benefit concerts for us. He?s been so supportive. I?m always like, ?Hey, I think I might be able to get hold of a musician.? He?s so lovely.?

Joined by her trusty bodyguard, the "Gimme More" singer donned a purple tank top sans bra, cut-off jean shorts and a pair of purple flip-flops as she arrived at The Commons shopping center for her routine java run.
