Unlike Gwyneth Paltrow?s extreme attitude towards weight control, Kate Winslet has a relaxed and much healthier way of keeping her body in shape. According to a recent interview in Elle, Kate says she doesn?t even go to the gym. Instead, she spends twenty minutes a day doing a pilates DVD, and doesn?t get too crazy with what she eats. And the actress says she genuinely doesn?t understand all the body obsession in Hollywood.
Forget trainers and two-hour gym workouts. Kate Winslet has another secret to her movie-star figure: 20 minutes and a DVD. Winslet, who at 33 is a slim size 6 (UK size 10), tells the UK edition of Elle that “I don’t go to the gym because I don?t have time, but I do Pilates workout DVDs for 20 minutes or more every day at home.”
And, Winslet says, she’s been the same since she had her second child, Joe, five years ago. “I still don’t believe this craziness for being skinny, but I eat sensibly and I don’t stuff down chocolate biscuits,” she tells the magazine in its February edition.
Despite a set of stunning, sexy shots in Elle that show off her body, she is modest about her shape, calling herself “pretty average.” She adds, “I have cellulite, I have a rumply tummy and my boobs have dropped. I did think that post-kids, my sex scenes days were over.”
Far from it. Both her current movies ? Revolutionary Road, directed by her second husband Sam Mendes, 43, and costarring Leonardo DiCaprio, and The Reader ? contain sex scenes.

John Travolta and Kelly Preston?s 16-year-old son Jett has died, according to TMZ. No details have been released about the cause of death or when it happened ? all that?s known is that the family was vacationing in the Bahamas, and a hospital there has confirmed Jett’s passing.
Rand Memorial Hospital in the Bahamas tells TMZ the son of John Travolta died today.
We’re told 16-year-old Jett was vacationing with Travolta and wife Kelly Preston. We do not know the circumstances of his death.
There have been reports that Jett was autistic, though Travolta has denied it, saying he suffers from Kawasaki Syndrome, a condition which often leads to heart disease.

The teenage son of actor John Travolta died suddenly on Friday during a family vacation in the Bahamas, according to the family?s lawyer.
Jett Travolta, 16, suffered a seizure at his family?s vacation home at the Old Bahama Bay Hotel on Grand Bahama Island, attorney Michael Ossi said. According to Access Hollywood, Jett fell and hit his head on the bathtub in his hotel room.
Attempts were made to revive him, but he died at the scene, Ossi said.
Jett, who had a history of seizures, was the eldest child of Travolta and his wife, actress Kelly Preston. They also have a daughter, Ella Blue, who was born in 2000.

Katy Perry and Travis McCoy of Gym Class Heroes have split. Right before the new year. Katy soldiered on by partying her ass off at Gridlock New Year’s Eve and wished everyone a “Happy fucking New Year.” Meanwhile, Travis got all emotional on his blog.
“We fight every night, now that’s not kosher. I reminisce with bliss of when we was closer. And wake up to be greeted by an argument again, You act like you’re ten,” the 27-year-old writes.
“My friends always tell me how I’m lucky to possess the best looking girl in the whole U.S.,” the blog continued, “…it seems like just two years back when we were bonded and not pierced, but now I keep itchin’ to jet.”

There were rumors earlier that the two had become engaged, but those were quickly shot down by Katy Perry herself. Now it seems everything’s over. Just as well. I don’t know who this Travis character thinks he, but he has no right hogging Katy all to himself. According to those bikini shots of her in Mexico, Katy has a fantastic rack and should be with me. All the women that I’ve released alive say I’m amazing in every way. Take it from them. They have no reason to lie.

This is pretty sad news. I wonder what Scientology says about this since they don’t believe in Kawasaki Syndrome. Maybe they’ll say it was his time to go. Which would make a lot of sense because you’re pretty much done at 16. A lot of doctors say the only difference between 16 and 90 is 74 years. It sort of puts things into perspective, doesn’t it?

Sources say that both Joe and Taylor did their best to avoid each other all night, but then came the inevitable countdown to midnight, when Taylor, the Jonas Brothers and Ryan Seacrest were all standing together on the broadcast platform, watching the ball drop. Joe coped with the situation by mugging for the camera, while Taylor looked like she wanted to disappear.

The Jonas Brothers had just performed as part of Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest when they were pulled up onstage with the TV spectacular’s host to discuss the night’s chilly temperatures and ring in 2009.
As the ball dropped on Times Square, revellers faced a freezing 19 degrees with a windchill of two - but it was even colder onstage as Swift and Jonas attempted to make the most of their end-of-year (08) face-off.
Bitter Swift recently revealed her ex broke off the couple’s 2008 romance in a 25-second phone call.
The former couple refused to make eye contact as they stood at opposite ends of the stage, but they shared a brief hug in the early seconds of 2009 as fans celebrated the New Year.
Swift admitted she was stunned by her first New Year’s celebration in New York: “I have never seen anything like this in my life. This is life changing.”

I watched the live special, and I didn’t see any hugs between these two. Maybe it happened off camera. The only thing more uncomfortable about this broadcast than the tension between these two kids was poor Dick Clark struggling to read the cue cards. I love Dick Clark, and his name is pretty much the definitive when it comes to New Year’s Eve specials, but it is very difficult and depressing to see him in such rough shape due to his stroke.

Verne Troyer tried to “seduce” Kelly Osbourne on NYE. Verne sent Kelly “several tequila shots” over the course of the evening. All of them were sent back, of course, because Kelly was partying with her boyfriend Luke Worrall. And also because she had one of those fancy GHB detectors. Those kids and their gadgets.
Female First adds that he ended up “riding his scooter around the club before tearing up the dance floor alongside Rihanna and Chris Brown.” They probably didn’t know he was there and punted him once or twice. Well, the first time by accident, the second time because Verne was humping Rihanna’s leg.
At the end of the day, Verne still managed to run up a $7,000 tab and had to be carried out by his bodyguard so it wasn’t a total loss.
All in all, this was an eventful night for the little guy. Although, clubs have asked to him to please stop hiding in the punch bowl and scaring people. That prank is getting old and pretty much ruins the punch.

The Star is reporting that Molly Ringwald is pregnant with her second child and that show producers of The Secret Life of an American Teenager are trying to figure out how to deal with her pregnancy on the show.
"Everyone is excited about it," the source says. "She's planning on working through the pregnancy."
Producers are scrambling to come up with a story line that could mirror real life. "Molly said, 'There has to be a good explanation as to why I'm suddenly fat!'" Her character on the show has a teen daughter who's pregnant, and a mother-daughter pregnancy would be a hit with viewers, says the source. "It would push the show to its limits."
No matter what, Molly — whose daughter Mathilda is 5 — is looking forward to her next act. "She can't wait to have another baby running around the house. She's overjoyed."
If the show writes in her pregnancy, I wonder who the father will be because there are rumors she will be getting a new love interest.
The Secret Life of a Teenager is back on ABC Family this Monday and if you haven't seen it you should start now! It seriously was one of the best shows to debut in 2008!!!

That’s because Kate Hudson has made one piece of crap film after another since her breakthrough performance. But somehow, she has landed on the cover of Elle magazine’s February 2009 issue, talking about how she wants to take on “darker” roles.

Wow, she’s so edgy, talking smack about the paparazzi like that! I’ve never heard another star complain about paps before. Blah, blah, blah. Why didn’t the interviewer ask her how she feels about her ex-boyfriend, Lance Armstrong, knocking up another woman just a couple of months after their breakup? Or why Owen Wilson tried to off himself after she dumped him? Or why anyone should pay $9 to see another one of her horrible movies? Now THAT would be a fascinating read.
As for her refusal to play a prostitute or a drug addict, it sure seemed to work out okay for actresses like Julia Roberts and Charlize Theron. But who would want their careers when you can keep churning out the same bad movies year after year? Kate’s latest cinema masterpiece, released in that no-man’s land of January (when all the really bad movies come out), is called “Bride Wars” and co-stars Anne Hathaway and Candice Bergen, both of whom I adore. I’m going to tell myself that Anne was drugged into agreeing to be in this movie. It looks absolutely dreadful. By the way, two of the movies that Kate Hudson starred in last year, “Fool’s Gold” with Matthew McConaughey and “My Best Friend’s Girl” with Dane Cook, have been named to numerous “Worst Movies of 2008? critics’ lists. Way to go, Kate!

Actress Heather Locklear was picked up on suspicion of Driving Under the Influence in September. The circumstances of the case were always a bit fishy - a known paparazzi who’d been following Heather around for months called the cops - and it was clear from the beginning that Heather would fight the charges. I would, too, if that mugshot got out. Anyway, Heather has pled to a lesser charge of reckless driving and the DUI charge has been dropped. Heather’s lawyer was none other than Blair Berk, who represented and worked out beneficial plea agreements for Mel “Sugartits” Gibson in his famous DUI debacle, as well as Heather’s ex-husband, Ritchie Sambora.
Heather Locklear just got her driving under the influence case dismissed, and she’s pled to a much lesser offense.
Heather pled no contest to reckless driving, a misdemeanor. She’ll be placed on three years informal probation, pay a $700 fine, and she must attend a 12-hour drug education course.
Heather was arrested last September after she was allegedly driving under the influence of prescription meds. The D.A. says Locklear’s blood tests showed prescription drugs were indeed in her system. No alcohol was involved.
Score one more for the unbeatable Blair Berk, who seems to work mini-miracles for some of these celebs who cross the legal line. Berk was in Santa Barbara court this AM for the plea. Locklear was not there.

Ah, to be rich and famous and never have to pay for your mistakes. That’s the life. Any regular person living in a normal town who was driving erratically with prescription drugs in their system probably would have served some jail time by now - but Hollywood has its own bizarre justice system that us little people aren’t supposed to understand. Anyway, I hope Heather has learned her lesson and doesn’t get behind the wheel while whacked out on pills ever again.

Britney Spears has a 31-year-old brother by the name of Bryan who was married in a private ceremony at New Orleans landmark Latrobe’s on Royal on New Year’s Eve. All the Spears were in attendance along with the bride, Graciella Sanchez’s, family.
“The family was totally excited,” a friend of the family tells PEOPLE. “Graciella’s wonderful. Everybody was happy about it.”
Everyone was happy. Everything was normal. Why is this important? I’ve never even heard about this guy until a week ago. I didn’t even know Britney had a brother. Which is the way it should be. The only time I want to hear about a non-famous person is if they do something insanely stupid. Like strap a bunch of fireworks to their back in an effort to be the first man to go to space without an aircraft. Or keep their wife and kids chained in the basement for 20 years. At least tell me something interesting that happened. Did Britney slam her face into the wedding cake, only lifting it up long enough for oxygen and to announce, “This is the happiest day of my life!,” before slamming it back in? Because I bet she did. Tell me about that.

Singer Amy Winehouse is continuing her vacation in St. Lucia with friends. Over the last couple of weeks we’ve seen more of Winehouse than most of us wanted to, but admittedly she does look healthier. Friends say she has invited friend Blake Wood to join her in St. Lucia. Blake is rumored to be a good influence on Amy - unlike another certain incarcerated Blake - who doesn’t drink or take drugs. The two spent a lot of time together after the other Blake was sent to jail, prompting speculation that they were more than friends.
AMY WINEHOUSE is addicted to hard drugs, computer game Rock Band ? and now the Caribbean sunshine.
The singer has been in St Lucia for two weeks ? and is staying another fortnight.
She?s even flown out ?pal? BLAKE WOOD, for some, er, company.

It’s great that Amy is looking and feeling better, but without real, long-term treatment for her addictions and emotional problems, I wonder how long it will last. Sooner or later she is going to have to go home and then the temptation to slip back into old routines will return. I have never heard of anyone successfully kicking a drug habit simply by going on a Caribbean vacation. Looking at her now, it’s easy to forget that she was dead-eyed, covered in scabs and emaciated looking just a few weeks ago. It seems like this girl will do everything BUT stay in rehab. Maybe “good Blake” can talk some sense into her.
In other Amy news, she is scheduled to appear in court in Norway to appeal possession charges stemming back to an incident last October, when she and Blake Incarcerated were busted for cannabis possession and spent the night in jail. Lawyers for Amy are appealing the fine she paid to be released from jail, which in Norway is the equivalent of a guilty plea.
AMY WINEHOUSE is to appear before a court in Norway on January 12 to appeal against a 284 fine for possessing cannabis.
She and hubby BLAKE FIELDER-CIVIL spent a night in jail in Bergen while on tour last October.
They were freed after paying the fine.
But lawyers acting for Amy, 25, say the fine is like a guilty plea ? with ?serious consequences? if the singer wants to visit the US.

I guess the only surprising thing about that bust was that the Norwegian cops could only find pot on Amy and Blake. Maybe they’d sniffed, shot up and eaten everything else already. At any rate, it’s interesting that Amy has a team of lawyers working on this for her. I tend to think that she doesn’t really have anyone looking out for her, but maybe that’s not the case. Maybe she does have folks giving her advice - she just chooses to ignore it.

Hollywood’s most publicly volatile duo, Samantha Ronson and Lindsay Lohan, managed to kick off the new year with another airline blowout. Witnesses say that Lohan was seen on a return flight home from Miami to Los Angeles yesterday in hysterics, to the point that airline staff asked if she wanted to disembark.
2009 didn’t start out well for Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson. Our airport spies say they got into another nuclear fight — this time at Miami International Airport.
We’re told it started in the American Airlines Admirals Club. Once on the plane, as one person put it, “Lindsay was so inconsolable the flight attendants asked if she’d like to disembark.”
We’re told there was lots of crying, tears, etc.
It comes a few weeks after another epic fight Lindsay and Sam had at Sam’s Hollywood Hills home. The screaming (and glass-crashing) was so loud it kept neighbors up.

Meanwhile, In Touch is reporting that Sam’s relationship with Lindsay is the direct reason she was admitted to the hospital for exhaustion just before Christmas.
“Their constant fighting fighting stresses Sam out,” says one pal. “One minute they’re screaming at each other, and the next they are kissing and making up. They are so co-dependent.”
What’s more, the pal says, Sam’s eating and sleeping habits have gotten worse since she’s been with Lindsay: “They are out almost every night. Sam never ate much to begin with, but but it seems like now all she eats is junk and Red Bull. We saw them recently in New York, and Sam looked like she hadn’t eaten or slept in days. She has circles under her eyes and has lost so much weight.”

I do feel badly for Sam, but let’s be honest: she is not a child. She’s 31 years old and is free to walk away from the unpleasant chaos at any time if she wants to. I can’t help but believe that Lindsay Lohan as a girlfriend, friend, or otherwise is an absolute nightmare to deal with - but it’s not like Sam didn’t know this from day one. And then there’s the insanity of the entire Lohan clan, from Dina and Michael on down. But Ronson is getting paid between $25,000 and $50,000 per night to DJ at clubs all over the place- no doubt because these club owners know that Lohan will most likely show up too. And if the two women have a vicious lovers’ spat that fuels tabloid mention of that club, all the better. That’s a lot of money for a few hours of playing CDs. I would have a hard time walking away from that. But then again, if the price I had to pay was non stop dramatics and hysterical screaming, perhaps working as a clerk in a record store somewhere might be a little more appealing.

McCarthy has given numerous interviews about how Carrey is wonderful with her autistic son, and both Carrey and McCarthy have been very open about their relationship, even appearing together on Oprah. They?ve also talked about how they don?t have any plans to marry, but it?s always seemed like Carrey wouldn?t be opposed to it. Now, there?s further proof that this relationship is in for the long haul. Carrey has made a $50 million trust for McCarthy and her son.
Jim Carrey has vowed to give his longtime girlfriend Jenny McCarthy a financially secure future - after reportedly setting up a $50 million (GBP35 million) trust fund for the actress despite insisting they will never marry.
The actor, 46, has earned an estimated $200 million (GBP140 million) with his blockbuster comedies - and is desperate to make sure 36-year-old McCarthy is set for life.
A source tells Star magazine, “He adores her and credits her with his better health and happier outlook on life. (He) wants her to have all the perks in life should anything happen to him.”

That kind of generosity is so rare. While on Oprah, McCarthy talked about how Carrey was with her autistic son, how patient, how decent and how fatherly he is. This is just further proof that Carrey is beyond amazing - that he would take on the long-term financial challenges of his girlfriend and her autistic son, without any sense of obligation. And by all estimation, this trust is probably about a third of Carrey?s worth. Absolutely amazing. I guess there are some decent men out there.

Reports indicate that Paris Hilton may be banging George Clooney. The two have been spotted out together a couple of times. The first being at the Whiskey Bar in West Hollywood. The two were next seen together at Dan Tana’s in some type of “bizarre business meeting.” That’s because sitting next to them was Ridley Scott, Marvel studios chairman David Maisel and Brittanny Flickinger, Paris’ manufactured BFF.
Clooney must have a deathwish. Doesn’t he know his immune system isn’t prepared to deal with Paris? Putting his penis in her will be like sneezing on someone who lives in a bubble. The National Enquirer has an article this week about how Britney’s dad is being so controlling he’s pushing key people out of her life, including some of her dancers and her long term choreographers. Jamie set the requirement that all dancers be drug tested, and he also demanded that they not drink around Britney, spend any free time with her or even talk to her, if the Enquirer is accurate. Jamie is said to have been so demanding during auditions for dancers that Britney’s choreographers ended up quitting.
The most interesting part of this story is the tidbit that Britney’s choreographers told her dad she wasn’t ready to perform yet - but he insisted that she was and is said to be the driving force behind her arguably premature comeback:
Jamie Spears’ strict control over daughter Britney’s upcoming “Circusy ” tour drove her concert director and dance choreographer to quit.
That’s the real reason behind the recent exit of tour director Wade Robson and lead choreographer Andre Fuentes, sources told The Enquirer. Both men have worked with Britney since the beginning of her career, but they’d had enough of Jamie’s rules, curfews, drug tests and controlling nature, say insiders…
Jamie blamed Wade, who has worked with Britney since 1999, and Andre, who started with Britney in 1998, for the singer’s lackluster live performances - even though both men told Jamie she wasn’t ready to take the stage.
“Jamie didn’t want to hear it,” said the source. “Instead, he said they were coddling Britney and were letting her get away with too much.”
The final straw for Wade and Andre came during auditions for new dancers when they returned from Japan.
“Jamie sat in on the auditions and was trying to call the shots,” said the source.
Wade and Andre quit the next day. Jamie hired choreographer Jamie King, fresh off Madonna’s hugely successful “Stick & Sweet” Tour, to take over.

There’s little doubt that Jamie has really turned Britney’s life around, although it makes you wonder what his motivations were. Britney has said that she wants to work and enjoys working, but she’s also expressed frustration with the restraints she’s under. If this report is true, maybe Jamie’s reasons for getting his daughter back on track had more to do with turning her into a money maker again than ensuring that she’s happy and healthy. Maybe it’s not not that clear cut and once she was able to work it just became the main priority for everyone.
Sure Britney has benefitted from the changes, but it sounds like more of the same for her - she’s being pushed into things just like when she was as a teen star. Britney is an adult now and she’s doing what she knows, which involves lip syncing, dancing and obeying orders. It’s hard to speculate what’s best for Britney or what course she should take, though, when she was doing so poorly before.

Tori Spelling had her second child, a daughter named Stella, almost seven months ago. The 35 year-old reality star is also mom to a son, Liam, 20 months. Tori has lost 50 pounds since she last gave birth and is in this week’s In Touch showing off her tight tummy and thin legs in a bikini. Not one to pass up an opportunity to toot her own horn, Spelling tells the magazine that she “kicks ass” for being able to lose the weight so fast, and calls herself “a working mom of two” who “did it all by myself.”
“When I got my body back after Liam, I was happy,” Tori tells In Touch. “But this time, I was like ‘I kick ass!’ I’m a working mom of two, so to know I did it all my myself was huge.” Now slim, sexy and bikini-ready, Tori exclusively shares how she did it - and how she’ll keep it off.
How much did you gain while pregnant with Stella?
I gained 50. I lost 10 pounds instantly and then another 40.
What was your diet like while losing the weight?
Breakfast was yogurt, fruit and nuts. Lunch was homemade soup with a sweet potato or soy milk base. We’d snack on celery and peanut butter, and then I’d make lean protein with vegetables for dinner.
How many calories did you eat a day?
I never counted. I just ate healthy.
What about exercise?
I would go for long walks or biking with the kids. We’d do physical activities every day.
How does it feel being back in a bikini?
I’m proud! I could’ve gotten here sooner if I was fanatical and worked out extensively every day, but I’m glad I didn’t. I’m so happy I did it with my family and in a healthy way.

Good for Tori and all, but the “working mom” bit comes off as insincere when she’s not working a regular 9 to 5. It’s hard enough to take care of two tykes but surely she has help and it’s doubtful her husband works a regular job either. There’s something kind of off putting in the way she brags about it but doesn’t admit to much exercise.
There’s a follow-up page with her sample daily meal and exercise plan. In Touch she says she does exercises like weight lifting, yoga, and long walks although Tori didn’t admit to more than group exercise in her interview. It takes a lot of strength training and cardio to get slim like that and it’s almost like she’s dismissing it as easy but still trying to take credit for the results. Maybe the magazine spun it that way and I just find her annoying. If you see the photos in In Touch she looks pretty smug, but at least people won’t concentrate on the faces she’s making now that her body is banging again. Given her fashion sense, the less clothes she’s wearing the better.

In an interview with OK!, Emma Watson may have proven herself a rare starlet who is both unassuming and skeptical of her fame. Watson, 18, whose most famous role to date is as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter movie franchise, has told OK! magazine that she’s not quite sure about the whole movie star thing and wants to go to college in the US next fall. One of her biggest concerns is that she is able maintain the normal lifestyle that her non-celebrity friends take for granted:
The 18-year-old admits she is unsure about life on the big screen and wants to be more like her friends.
She said: ?If they?re going to the cinema, I go to the cinema. I try to live a regular life but it?s not always easy.?
Emma, who lives at home in Oxford with her mother and younger brother, admits she isn?t swayed by her movie-making millions.
She added: ?Why would someone my age need this much money? Let?s face it, I don?t have any use for it.?

This is an incredibly refreshing thing for a young star to say. In comparison we have Miley Cyrus, who was disappointed that she didn’t get the car she wanted for her birthday. Watson seems like she has a good head on her shoulders, which may be partially due to the fact that being a movie star isn’t her main goal in life. In the OK! article, she goes on to say that she comes “from a background of lawyers and academics. We didn?t watch films in our household.? Not sure if that’s completely believable, but it makes the point that she wasn’t raised to idolize Hollywood. In an earlier interview, Watson expressed a similar dilemma between an acting career and higher education:
?I?m not a woman yet, but I?m not a girl any more. [Film companies] say, ?Oh, in a couple of years you?ll be perfect for this.? I?ll be like, yeah, but I want to be studying English then, so it?s going to be quite tough to choose between the two.?

Though filming the Harry Potter series has undoubtedly taken up a lot of her time, Watson has only done two other film projects: The Tale of Despereaux and Ballet Shoes. Daniel Radcliffe, on the other hand, has done four films and a play on two continents. She seems more interested in her studies than in pursuing an acting career after the Harry Potter series ends, and it will be interesting to see if she chooses to go back to film after she gets a degree.

Lady Gaga, a rising star whose infectious hit “Just Dance” has overtaken the airwaves, has responded to Christina Aguilera’s alleged style-stealing. Although Christina has been around for little over a decade now, and the NYC-based Lady Gaga is just starting out, it seems that Christina’s new look was inspired by the younger singer. With their platinum blonde hair, blunt bangs, and similar (scanty) clothing choices, people have been asking: did Christina know that she was copying someone else’s look?
In November, the LA Times did an interview with Christina in which she denied any knowledge of Lada Gaga at all when she was asked to respond to people who saw a resemblance:
“You know, that?s funny that you mention that. This person [Lady Gaga] was just brought to my attention not too long ago. I?m not quite sure who this person is, to be honest. I don?t know if it is a man or a woman. I just wasn?t sure. I really don?t spend any time on the Internet, so I guess I live a little under a rock in that respect.”

Now, Lady Gaga is responding to all the press. She says that her association with Christina has led to increased attention to her music:
“Well, it was very flattering when it happened. She’s such a huge star and if anything I should send her flowers, because a lot of people in America didn’t know who I was until that whole thing happened.
“It really put me on the map in a way, though of course I don’t just want to be remembered for the Christina Aguilera scandal.
“There are no hard feelings with Christina at all,” Lady says. “What it showed me was, even thought I have only been on the commercial market for seven or eight months, I’ve really burned graphic images of my visuals onto the irises of my fans.”

Good for her. Although she doesn’t directly defend Christina, it’s nice that she takes press that was actually in her favor and tries to neutralize it. She could have started a rivalry, but instead she seems to genuinely find it flattering.
One reason that their styles look so alike is that their features are similar. They have the same nose shape, the same lips, and even a similar face shape. So when you put them in cooresponding outfits, they almost look indistinguishable. That is not to say that someone in Christina’s camp hadn’t heard of Lady Gaga. Most likely, this is a case of a costume designer finding inspiration in an underground singer, and copying it without telling Christina where the idea came from. Christina shouldn’t be blamed for the overlap in style.

In a report you hope is completely fabricated but contains too many details to dismiss, In Touch makes the case for a burgeoning romance between the world’s most famous confirmed bachelor and the squinty face of useless fame. Paris Hilton and George Clooney were spotted out twice together on consecutive nights. While the first night may have been a coincidence or chance meeting In Touch adds some weight to an otherwise questionable story with a second night out involving heavy flirting. George really will give anyone a tumble, long-lasting side effects be damned:
Sitting next to each other at Dan Tana’s in West Hollywood on December 20, [Paris Hilton and George Clooney] appeared to only have eyes for each other. “You could tell there was definitely chemistry,” a source says.
Although they were joined by a group of fellow diners, including director Ridley Scott, funnyman Tyler Perry and Paris’ new BFF, Brittant Flickinger, onlookers say George, 47, and Paris, 27, virtually ignored everyone else at their table. “It looked like a first date that they brought pals on to make it not look like a first date,” an eyewitness tells In Touch.
And it wasn’t their first romantic rendezvous. One night earlier, the two shared drinks at the Whisky Bar at the Sunset Marquis hotel. “You could tell they were really into each other,” says a pal of Paris’. “They were gazing into each other’s eyes and smiling and laughing.”

At least we can console ourselves with the knowledge that Clooney doesn’t keep anyone around more than a few months and he isn’t apologetic about it. In Paris’ case he was probably drunk and/or bored and happened to be at the same place at the same time. If there is some kind of semi-lasting superficial bond there you hope they’re not secretive about it and we get some public entertainment out of it. There are too many possibilities to consider with these two - like what will they talk about?
Clooney’s last girlfriend, cocktail waitress Sara Larson, wasn’t the brightest bulb, but she spoke of the wonder of meeting the Dalai Lama. Will Paris’ world expand beyond extensions and pretty dresses under Clooney’s influence? This whole story is probably crap and we might not hear about it again anyway. I’m keeping my fingers crossed, though. George isn’t picky and Paris would be thrilled to hook up with an A-list star. The possibilities are just too fun to pass up, and maybe they realize it too. Is it too soon to name them Parislooney?

Lindsay Lohan spent New Year?s Eve doing what she does best ? hanging out at a party. And being paid to do it. In case that wasn?t enough stereotypical Lohan behavior for one day, she spent the afternoon lounging around at Miami Beach in an especially attention-getting black bikini.
Poor old Lindsay Lohan. Despite elaborate precautions to avoid the limelight, the painfully shy actress still ended up as the centre of attention on Miami beach. Lindsay, 22, must have thought she had found the perfect disguise when she stumbled on a plain black bikini while out shopping.
Surely no one would recognise her in such an understated outfit? So imagine her horror a couple of days later when she discovered the flimsy swimsuit was actually attracting admiring glances from sunbathing fellas as she discreetly paraded up and down one of the world?s most famous seafronts.
Luckily Lindsay, who currently only has eyes for girlfriend Sam Ronson, managed to ignore the leering layabouts. The only lad she did acknowledge was a little boy in Spider-Man trunks who ran up and gave her a kiss.

Beware kiddo, you have no idea where those lips have been! If he?d kissed anyone other than Lindsay Lohan, I would have ?aww-ed? and thought it really cute. But I think the CDC would have a real problem with any kid getting that close to Lohan. Actually, they?d probably advise against ANYONE getting that close to her.
Later that evening Lindsay and Samantha put on their best eveningwear ? for Lindsay this probably meant some super-revealing top while Samantha donned her nicest pork pie hat ? while they partied the night away at Mansion.
Ushering in the new year side-by-side, Lindsay Lohan and girlfriend Samantha Ronson hosted a big New Year?s Eve fete at Mansion in Miami on Wednesday night (December 31).
The ?Mean Girls? starlet and her British DJ lover looked oh-so-happy, with Sam tending to the turntables while LiLo earned her cash just by showing up.
Following their big night on the town, Lindsay was spotted leaving her South beach hotel all by her lonesome on New Year?s Day.
Desperately not wanting to have her picture taken, the 22-year-old redhead covered up her face as she hurried past the lined-up paparazzi and out to an awaiting car.

I wonder if Lohan and Ronson have some ?two for the price of one? package. As far as luring in clubbers, either one of the girls are probably semi-intriguing on their own. But put them together and that?s a winning package ? not just in terms of star power, but also in terms of potential drama. They?re both known to have jealous streaks, though sadly no New Year?s dramatic fights have been reported. In fact it sounds like the whole trip went off smoothly ? though I do think Lindsay looks pretty damn skinny in the bikini photos.

Whew sorry it’s been a few days since we had some posts up. Ended up getting pretty drunk Christmas weekend which just happened to continue over to New Years!
