Vanessa Minnillo, 33, and Nick Lachey, 40, are expecting their second child together. The couple has been married for three years and has a son, Camden, who will turn two in September. Vanessa and Nick made the announcement with a super cute picture on Twitter announcing the sex of the baby:

Always a big hit with the ladies, Nick Lachey received a warm welcome as he arrived at the 2014 MTV Movie Awards earlier tonight (April 13).
The former 98 Degrees bandmate looked dashing in his designer duds while working the crowd and posing for photos outside the Nokia Theatre LA Live in Los Angeles.
And while the arrivals area looked to be absolutely electric, the real action gets going as our favorite stars begin competing for the highly-coveted Golden Popcorn trophies.
Case in point, Bradley Cooper, Leonardo DiCaprio, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Josh Hutcherson and Matthew McConaughey will battle for the Best Male Performance honors while the Best Female Performance nominees include Amy Adams, Jennifer Aniston, Sandra Bullock, Jennifer Lawrence and Lupita Nyong?o.

Bringing his black tie to the Big Apple, Nick Lachey attended the launch of the fifth annual Lindt Gold Bunny Celebrity Auction on Friday (April 4).
The event seeks to help raise awareness for Autism, and the "Taking the Stage" stud showed up at the Peninsula Hotel suited up and smiling for his red carpet appearance.
The 40-year-old hunk also went on to "Good Morning America" to talk about his brother Zac, who was diagnosed with Asperger syndrome, a form of autism, when Zac was 7 years old.
Speaking about his brother, Nick said, "My family has dealt with that, and we?re inspired by his courage and strength. When you see firsthand how it affects the life of someone, my brother especially. He?s been an inspiration to me, and I see how hard and challenging it is, and [I want to do] anything I can to help."
Of the Lindt Gold Bunny Celebrity Auction, Nick said, "The work they do in terms of research; there are so many questions where autism?s concerned. One in 68 kids will now be diagnosed, and my younger brother Zac is one of those kids."

He's very familiar with the subject so it was with great interest that fans tuned in to hear Nick Lachey's take on the worst '90s boy band.
During "Watch What Happens Live" on Monday (March 17), host Andy Cohen asked the 98 Degrees member who was the "lamest" boy band of the '90s.
Though it was Andy who first mentioned 5ive, the 40-year-old singer admitted, "We actually had a big time beef with 5ive."
Explaining the mini-feud, Nick shared, "We were on the Smash Hits tour in the U.K. with a bunch of pop groups at the time, and 5ive for whatever reason just had it out for us. So we used to battle every night." Check out the interview below.

Star Magazine is reporting (via Radar Online) that married singer/reality star Nick Lachey spent an awfully long time hitting on a lovely brunette TV hostess who bears a mild resemblance to his wife, Vanessa Lachey. According to Star, Nick spent “hours heavily flirting” with a woman named Stuart Brazell at a party and was “begging” for her number. Nick and Vanessa have been married for just a year and a half and have a five month baby together. If this is true it’s bad news for them:
The proud papa of baby Camden was spotted recently spending hours heavily flirting with sexy TV personality Stuart Brazell during a star-studded pre-Grammys party at Paramount Studios, according to an exclusive report in the new issue of Star magazine.
?He wanted to know everything about her,? an witness dished to Star.
?You never would?ve guessed he?s married with a baby!?
Star reports that the eyewitness also claims the 98 Degrees singer was seen begging Stuart for her number!

I really hope this isn’t true. I hope Nick was talking to this lady because they’re working on a project together or because they’re interested in collaborating or something. Her IMDB has her doing casting work for reality TV as well as several producing projects, so it’s entirely possible they were talking business. Plus, I just don’t see Nick as a cheater at all. I used to watch Newlyweds (don’t judge!) and he always seemed so solid to me. He’s a serial monogamist and I can’t imagine that he would cheat on Vanessa at all, especially with a new baby at home. This is Star stirring up sh*t where there is none – I hope! But I’ve also heard of the nicest, most seemingly family-oriented dudes getting strange on the side. (In real life, not just celebrity land.) Maybe I shouldn’t be so naive.

There isn’t much that surprises me about this story if you leave out who we’re talking about. A minor male celebrity goes to a football game with his buddies, gets wasted, starts talking smack to a guy with a jersey on for the opposing team, and gets kicked out of the stadium after a fight ensues. Later, the alleged victim claims that the minor celebrity/former reality star and boybander choked him and called his wife a b*tch when she came up with a clever comeback to his smack-talk. The celebrity guy brags about the incident on Twitter, not acknowledging his responsibility for getting kicked out of the game and acting like it was a badge of honor or something.
No biggie, this is the kind of petty thing we’d expect from a person with that background except this is Nick Lachey! He’s supposed to be the decent guy, the one who put up with Jessica Simpson for so long until she cheated on him. He’s not known for being a hothead or an ass and we had a window to his marriage for years. He seems rather low key and chill about everything. I am honestly surprised. When did he become a douche, or is this just a bad moment for him? Anyway here’s the news for this:
Nick Lachey isn’t just a heckler … he CHOKED a San Diego Chargers fan at Qualcomm Stadium on Sunday and called the guy’s wife a “f**king b*tch” … this according to multiple people involved in the incident … but Nick says it’s all BS.
TMZ has obtained new video … which shows Lachey getting aggressive with a Chargers fan who was wearing an Igor Olshansky #99 jersey (Igor played for SD from 2004 to 2008).
We spoke to the guy in the jersey … who tells us Lachey and his buddies — all die-hard Bengals fans — had been talking trash to him about the jersey for most of the 2nd half of the game.
The Chargers fan says Lachey made one particularly offensive comment about Olshansky that crossed the line … and that’s when the fan’s wife shot back to Nick, “Well, he lasted longer than your boy band.”
We’re told Lachey flipped out and called the wife a “f**king b*tch” … along with “a host of other profanities.”
Tensions exploded … and the Chargers fan says Nick lunged towards him … grabbed him by the throat and shoved him to the ground. The fight can be seen in the footage obtained by TMZ.
As we previously reported, stadium security quickly responded and ejected Nick and his buddies. The Chargers fans were NOT asked to leave.
After the incident, Nick went to Twitter and BRAGGED about the situation — saying, “Just got kicked out of the chargers stadium and couldn’t be prouder! Go Cincy Bengals.”
He later acknowledged the altercation … tweeting, “i simply don’t appreciate someone turning around and putting their finger in my face. call me crazy, but that deserved a reaction.”
We’re told the Chargers fan plans to file a police report against Lachey.
Nick’s rep tells TMZ, “This is a gross misrepresentation of what happened. It was nothing but a spirited debate between fans of opposing teams. At no point did Nick say anything derogatory to the man’s wife and anything to suggest the contrary is simply untrue.”

TMZ has a video to accompany this story, but don’t bother watching it unless you’re bored stiff at work and need a diversion. Hell, just go to YouTube and watch funny cat videos. All you can see is a blurry cell phone clip of Nick looking like he’s lunging at a guy in this mass fight. It looks like a free-for-all, not like Nick was the only one being the aggressor. So what happened? It was probably a convergence of Nick’s hotbutton issues – sports and his lousy career. Add some overpriced beer and drunk friends in there and you have a recipe for a fight. It makes me wonder if everything is ok at home with Vanessa and their new baby. Probably. He’s just getting worked up at a sports game. I’m not invested in sports like that and can’t relate. I hope he didn’t choke that guy though, that’s awful if it’s true.

New details are coming out about why Nick Lachey was ejected from Qualcomm Stadium during the Chargers vs. Bengals game on Sunday. It’s definitely not because he attempted an impromptu solo rendition of Because of You as previously believed. No. A man alleges Nick was thrown out for something a little less egregious. Choking him and calling his wife a “f*cking b*tch”The incident started when Nick and his friends were trash talking the guy over his Olshansky #99 jersey. During Sunday’s Bengals/Chargers game in San Diego, Nick Lachey was thrown out of the stadium for excessive trash talking. It’s not clear what he said but he didn’t seem too worried about it tweeting, “Just got kicked out of the chargers stadium and couldn’t be prouder! Go Cincy Bengals.”After the Chargers lost for the umpteenth time, Lachey tweeted, “Bengals win again. i’d talk trash to everyone in SD, but what’s the point? you already had me kicked out of the stadium and you still lost.”He’s right. Trash talking the Chargers is like trash talking a kid with no legs during a sprint. Everyone knows that if you pressure Philip Rivers, he’ll throw an interception which is exactly what he did last night on the final drive 15 yards from theend zonefailing to tie up the game to bring it into overtime. His QB IQ is so low that I’m surprised that when they snap him the football he doesn’t try to eat it.

Celebrating one year of wedded bliss together, Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo hit up the Little Door restaurant in Los Angeles last night (July 15).
The ?What?s Left of Me? singer made sure to help his very pregnant wife (they?re having a boy) walk through the parking lot, as her Christian Louboutin heels were a bit difficult to keep steady on the uneven pavement.
And of course, Nick looked handsome in a black button-up top with jeans, while Vanessa opted for a billowy satin white blouse and tight black leggings.
One year ago, Nick and Vanessa said ?I Do? during a beautiful ceremony at Sir Richard Branson?s British Virgin Islands private estate.

Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo announced their engagement back in 2010, and literally days later, Jessica Simpson?s K-Fed ?proposed? with a ring (which Jessica likely paid for). Jessica got a lot of crap for seeming to copy or try to one-up her ex-husband, and it seems like the criticism worked, sort of. Nick and Vanessa got married quietly last July, successfully beating Jessica and Eric Johnson to the altar, and Jessica then seemed content to simply be the first ex to get pregnant. So now Vanessa is playing catch up – Vanessa and Nick have just announced that they?re expecting! Take that, Jessica!
Get ready for a little Nick — or a mini-Minnillo!
Vanessa Minnillo and Nick Lachey are expecting their first child, Lachey announced Monday morning on Live! With Kelly.
“She’s just 12 weeks,” a source tells Us Weekly of Minnillo, 30. “They’re both thrilled so excited. Can’t wait to meet the new little one. Minnillo offered a sneak peak of her baby bump while vacationing in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico Feb. 25.
Back in August, Lachey, 37, said he was “doing everything I can” to get his wife pregnant.
“Trust me, it would make me very happy,” he said. “Family is very important. It’s very important to us, and I’m sure that will be around the corner.”
The Wipeout hostess and The Sing Off host wed on Necker Island last July. Lachey’s first wife, Jessica Simpson, is due with her own child this spring; the dad is fiance Eric Johnson.

I tend to think Vanessa and Nick are very happy together. They seem well-suited for each other, and I think that Jessica Simpson doesn?t enter into their minds very often. So? I?ll buy that the timing of this isn?t about Jessica. They were just married, they waited half a year, and Vanessa got knocked up. Congrats to them – I?m sure they?ll be great parents!
