Hard at work on her new blockbuster film, Megan Fox shot scenes on location in New York City for ?Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2? on Monday (April 28).
The ?Jennifer?s Body? stunner looked stylish in a khaki jacket with jeans and brown boots as she ran through the intersection of 42nd Street and 6th Avenue while fans and paparazzi looked on.
Of her April O?Neil character, Megan told press, ?She?s more of a leader when she explores her relationship with the turtles instead of just the human companion that gets dragged along on the adventure. It?s more representative of a modern woman.?

Here are some photos from last night?s NYC premiere of Far From the Madding Crowd. Carey Mulligan, Michael Sheen and Matthias Schoenaerts were in attendance. Matthias is such a hottie, right? I mean? we need to include him on our list of dudes-to-watch. Michael Sheen was there with his girlfriend (still!) Sarah Silverman, which? even though it?s been a few years, I still think they?re such a weird couple.
As for Carey, she wore this lovely, simple Lavin gown in a rich navy. The pearl necklace is Lanvin as well ? I get the idea of wearing a long statement necklace with this simple gown, but I think this pearl thing is too much. In any case, this look is SO MUCH better than the baggy Dior mess she wore to the London premiere ? remember that? It was so baggy and unflattering that many people theorized that she was knocked up. But Carey told Hello Magazine that ?baggy and unflattering? is just her style, that she hates body-con.
Carey Mulligan is too ”self-conscious” to wear figure-hugging clothing. The ‘Far from the Madding Crowd’ star has confessed she prefers to sport loose-fitting dresses on the red carpet as she feels uncomfortable when she shows off too much of her slender physique.
She said: ”I’m so reserved. I like outfits that come to my knee and aren’t too tight or revealing. I’m too self-conscious of my body and my appearance.”
The brunette beauty, 29 – who is married to Mumford and Sons star Marcus Mumford – added she hates having her picture taken at high profile events, although she feels as if she has ”improved a little” when it comes to posing in front of the camera. She told HELLO! magazine: ”I hate the idea of standing in front of a hundreds of people while they take my picture. It’s a nightmare and I feel so uncomfortable. Maybe I’ve improved a little, but any time I’m on the red carpet I lose all sense of myself. I find it so odd. I know it sounds like a contradiction but I never went into acting for all eyes on me.”

I get that? sort of. I mean, not every woman can or should wear tight little minidresses and four-inch heels. How boring would that be? But I think there?s a flattering way to do the anti-body stuff. And that Dior dress wasn?t the way. This Lanvin though? It?s nice.
Oh, and Carey gave a few decent quotes to USA Today last night ? she was asked about being on Broadway (in Skylight) and she said: ?What is fun? I can?t remember fun. I basically just go to restaurants with friends and go for walks. I don?t have any real hobbies. I like being home.? She also threw a little shade on the celebrities complaining about their lack of privacy, saying that she?s always maintained her privacy because ?It?s easy to do if you are intentioned about it. I?ve always been intentioned about it.?
Last thing: Carey was just nominated for a Tony Award for Skylight! Congrats.

I?ll give it to Scarlett Johansson: when she wants to turn it up and look effortlessly movie-star glam, she can do it really well. These are photos of ScarJo outside of the Ed Sullivan Theater in NYC yesterday. She was going into a taping of The Late Show with David Letterman. Scarlett?s white dress is Roland Mouret?s Abersley dress and it?s very, very pretty. I?m still not really sure about her hair ? in some photos and videos, it looks very ?Miley Cyrus? and in other photos, it just looks really bad. I also think it?s going to look worse when she tries to grow it out, but hey, live and learn. Here?s a clip of ScarJo with Letterman last night:
She apparently spent a lot of time complimenting and praising Letterman. They also talked about her baby a little bit, and I was reminded of how Scarlett and Blake Lively are both promoting projects at the same time and both gave birth within a few months of each other and both got a ring from Ryan Reynolds. Do you think Scarlett is even aware of Blake? Or is she like, ?Oh, that TV girl, whatever?? We know Scarlett is still digesting – and throwing shade at – the whole Ryan situation.
This video has been making the rounds for a week too. Cosmo UK got Mark Ruffalo to answer the questions Scarlett usually gets. Ruffalo was adorably game ? I just wish they had followed through with it for the whole interview. I wanted to know about Ruffalo?s diet!
I really enjoy their body language. They?re so comfortable with each other and I love that Scarlett assumed the ?boss? position with her arm behind Mark. And you know? they have some kind of love story or romance in Age of Ultron too. That will be interesting.

Years ago, I had the most amazing full-length mirror. I don?t know what was wrong with it, but it was the most flattering mirror I ever had in my life. It was like a fun-house mirror ? it made everyone look tall and thin. It stretched people out slightly ? not so much that they didn?t look like themselves, but just enough to make you feel great about yourself. Somewhere along the way, I lost that mirror. I think it found a home with Mariah Carey. Because that?s the only way to explain Mariah?s style these days ? she has no idea what she really looks like.
These are photos of Mariah at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. She was doing a big event to celebrate her upcoming residency. And this is how our Elusive Chanteuse arrived at Caesars ? wearing what looks like bedazzled full-body Spanx. Oh, Mariah!!! Girl, this does not look good. You know what? Mariah doesn?t have a bad figure at all ? she?s a big, tall woman with a big bust and curves. Her curves shouldn?t limit her ability to look good, except Mariah has always poured herself into too-tight clothing and stuff that would only be flattering on someone super-skinny. And whoever told Mariah to wear a dress that draws attention to her waist (and she?s sucking it in too) needs to be fired from The Butterfly Cartel. It?s also hilarious that they made her stand in front of an insanely Photoshopped promotional image of herself.
A few days ago, Mariah released a new single called ?Infinity?. It?s a diss-track against Nick Cannon. And it?s cheesy as hell. Her voice doesn?t sound great either, and it?s pretty obvious that all of the production magic in the world went into this.

Given her status as one of the hottest up-and-coming pop stars on the planet, Ariana Grande has attracted some crazy stalkers along the way.
And it turns out a man named Tim Normandin finally crossed the line when he visited the ?Baby I? songstress at her concert in Connecticut last month. Prior to the show, Tim had sent Grande a 42-pound pumpkin, a Kay Jewelers anklet, a rock from New Hampshire?s White Mountains and a dog-and-cat poster set, prompting the cops to visit him at his Massachusetts home.
Despite a stern warning from the police, Normandin came to the concert venue and demanded to meet Ariana. He was subsequently arrested and eventually posted a $5,000 bond to be released. Thankfully Miss Grande has great security!

Here are some photos of Anne Hathaway in New York from the past five days or so. She and her husband Adam ?Skinny Jeans? Shulman have been in New York for a few weeks as Anne was rehearsing and then starting her one-woman show Grounded, showing at The Public Theater through May. You can read the review of the show here ? Annie?s playing a drone pilot dealing with PTSD and her performance is getting solid-to-great reviews.
So that answered my questions as to why we?ve been getting so many photos of Adam and Annie lately. They?ve been all over the place, getting pap?d nearly every day in NYC. This hasn?t really happened since Annie went overboard with her Oscar campaign and got WAY too in our faces with photo-ops, interviews, etc. I think she learned a lot from that moment, and she?s veered too far to the other side, where she?s barely speaking to the press at this point. Has she even done any press on behalf of this show?
Here?s something I didn?t know before today ? Annie?s on Instagram. She uses it sparingly and mostly for work, charity and maybe to push her jewelry-designing-husband?s wares. But she did post this endorsement of Hillary Clinton a few weeks ago. Annie?s a big Democratic Party supporter, and she?s given and raised money for Pres. Obama?s campaigns in the past. I guess she?s backing Hillary this time around.
I was just thinking this morning that it's going to be especially important to vote in the 2016 election: whoever we elect will likely name three Supreme Court Justices during their term. THREE. It's a huge responsibility- I like the idea of Hillary making those calls #hillary #supremecourt #weholdthesetruthstobeselfevident

Kate Upton has a new interview in the Evening Standard paper. I decided to use mostly candid street photos to illustrate this story because (as Kaiser reminded us yesterday) Kate needs to up her style game at scheduled events. She looks fantastic in swimsuits and fashion editorials, but she needs a new stylist for parties and fashion festivals. Someone keeps handing her the fug outfits. But her street style isn’t the worst.
This interview has a few interesting bits and pieces. Kate’s ongoing career has been the subject of much media speculation. Kate herself seems a little weary of the talk. I appreciated how she called out Uncle Terry for releasing her “Cat Daddy” video, but I don’t know why she rails so much against social media when it helped her rise to supermodel status. Kate talks again about how she’d love to blow up her social media accounts. One cute part is when she messes with the journo about her favorite body part:
Her favorite feature: “I?d say my best feature is my … my ears. They’re always just hanging there, chilling; they never make me feel insecure. I?m just kidding. I think I?d probably say my smile because it makes me feel good inside when I?m smiling.”
More social media disdain: “Oh my gosh. All … the … time. I fantasise about deleting my social media accounts. But I can’t.”
On helping girls with their body image: “For me it?s about being strong, having the strength to work ten-hour days, and eating healthily,” she says. On a good day she has a breakfast of scrambled eggs (one white, one whole) with spinach and green tea at 7am; a snack of ten raw almonds and a green juice at 10am; a lunch of quinoa with herb-crusted grilled chicken and grilled vegetables; a protein bar at 4pm; and dinner at 7pm — usually sashimi or a kale salad with grilled salmon and cashews. Sounds utterly joyless, I say. She allows herself the occasional cheat day: “I like fried salty food rather than sweet.” But before a big shoot or film scene she will undertake a 48-hour juice cleanse.
Is she ever body shy? “I always am! Well, I am and I?m not at the same time. Every person has insecurities. But this is the body I was given, I appreciate it and I try to take care of it every day as best I can, but I always enjoy my life. So I?m not going to let my insecurities stop me from enjoying life.”

Good god, why only 10 almonds? There are around 23 in one serving, which I shouldn’t know in the first place. This just goes to show that so many of us are all too aware of nutritional labels, but c’mon. It’s not just about calorie count. Almonds have plenty of protein, potassium, and magnesium. Maybe I just like almonds.
Kate did seem to have a healthy attitude about her body in the face of unhinged, pro-ana criticisms. Kate spoke out against that body shaming when it happened, but the wave of criticism probably stuck with her. That sucks. When she talks about 2-day juice cleanses in this interview, I thought about how she admitted to 2-week cleanses before her SI: Swim shoots. Either her story has changed, or she’s lightened up on her pre-shoot food restrictions. I hope it’s the latter. Oh, and not every single person has body insecurities.

I sometimes feel like a cavewoman, or the last woman in the world who doesn?t give a crap about diets, food trends or bone broth. I try to eat most foods in moderation, but I don?t hate myself if I have a donut or a piece of chocolate. I barely drink, mostly because I got tired of hangovers. I work out, on average, four times a week and they are intense, sweaty affairs that leave me feeling exhausted and riding a wave of endorphins. Sometimes I eat at McDonalds. I love a good Caesar salad. All in all, I don?t really care ? I just do whatever feels good to me and I try not to stress about food. I?ve never tried the Paleo Diet. I?ve never tried Atkins. I?ve never been on Weight Watchers or Jenny Craig. I?ve never gone vegetarian or vegan for longer than a few days.
What?s the point of all this? I guess I?m trying to give you my state of mind as I was reading this absolutely bizarre interview with Elle Macpherson. Elle is a former supermodel, of course, and I?ve always believed she?s sort of crazy. Her description of her diet is? um? I don?t know what descriptors to use? Ridiculous? Exhausting? Tedious? With a streak of ?girl, you need to find something better to do with your time.?
Elle Macpherson has a surprising secret to looking this good at 51 ? and it involves her urine, of all things. The entrepreneur and supermodel told the London Evening Standard that she keeps a pH balance urine tester kit in her handbag at all times to ensure her body is in an alkaline state.
“I believe that most ailments come from having an acidic body,” she says.
The co-founder and co-owner of the premium luxury wellness business WelleCo told PEOPLE she keeps her body at the preferred pH level ? said to reduce stress and protect bone health ? by taking her brand’s Super Elixir Alkalising Greens supplement daily.
“I don’t worry about wrinkles,” she says. “I tackle internal ageing by nourishing my cells from the inside and the welcome by-product is looking and feeling good.”
Macpherson also credits her fit physique to exercise, drinking lots of water and a consistent healthy diet free of red meat, wheat and dairy.
“I move my body for at least 45 minutes every day,” she says of her routine, which includes a mix of hiking, water skiing, swimming and running on the beach. “And drink lots of water ? 3 liters a day.”

Drinking lots of water is great. Having 45-minute workouts every day is great. Not eating red meat is okay ? lots of people don?t eat red meat. Dairy? Sure. Some people cut out dairy too. Wheat? I couldn?t do that, but sure. But for the love of God? carrying a pH balance urine tester kit with her at all times? Testing her urine when she?s, like, out to dinner? I?m sure there?s some science out there, somewhere, to back up her diet. And I mean, more power to her, if that?s how she wants to spend her time, bless her heart. But now everyone knows that whenever Elle goes to the bathroom, she?s weeing on pH tester kit.
Oh, and apparently Marmite is fine on her diet. As is dark chocolate. Ugh, I hate both. One last thing: she?s totally lying about her wrinkles, right? Elle is Bo to the ?Toxed.

Jennifer Aniston is surprisingly not holed up in Bel Air. Shocking! She?s been in NYC for a few days, and these are some photos of Jennifer and Amanda Anka out for dinner last night. Anka is Jason Bateman?s wife ? Bateman and Aniston have worked together so many times, and Jason and Amanda are part of the group of friends that Jennifer has cultivated in LA. It makes sense that Amanda and Jennifer would do dinner by themselves, I guess. They went to Nobu, and from what I can tell, Jason did not join them. And neither did Justin Theroux. I guess Jennifer is in NYC to spend time with Justin, although I couldn?t honestly tell you that Justin is currently in NYC. Last I heard, he was in Rome working on Zoolander 2. Last I heard, there was trouble in JustJen-ville.
Let?s talk about Jennifer?s street style, shall we? I?ve always thought that Jennifer?s personal, casual style was a lot better than her red carpet style, probably because I identify with Jennifer?s casual style. She has some great jeans in her closet, and some really cute sweaters, coats, sandals, blouses. I don?t hate her look here ? I was going to bitch about the rolled-up jeans, but I think she needed to do that for the boots. The coat and scarf are too bulky, but there?s been a chill in the air on the West Coast, so I?ll give her that too. She?s still wearing her engagement ring too (SO CLOUDY, like a quartz).
I wonder if Jennifer is going to turn up at a dinner with Amal and George Clooney. Remember, George and Jennifer are ?friends? now. They party together in Cabo. I would think that Amal is trying to jettison some of George?s friends though, so does Amal approve of Aniston?
