Limping her way around the west coast, Halle Berry was spotted running errands in Los Angeles, CA on Friday (January 13).
The ?Monster?s Ball? babe rocked a super casual outfit consisting of baggy jeans and a v-neck tee as she made her way out of a store with a bagful of goods.
It was announced earlier this week that Berry and boyfriend Olivier Martinez had gotten engaged, but a recent report is suggesting that is not the case.
A source close to the actress told People that Halle is not engaged, she is simply flaunting a new emerald and diamond ring from one of her favorite jewelry company, Gurhan.

Taking a crack at clearing the air, Amber Rose recently defended her ? Kim [Kardashian] is the home wrecker? statement.
Sitting down with MTV News, Kanye West?s ex-girlfriend explained that Star magazine paraphrased a quote she gave them after being told her ?Jesus Walks? rapper beau and the reality TV star had an affair behind her back.
"Kim is the home wrecker, I'm not the home wrecker. I don't date men in relationships; I don't do that to other women," Amber said. "I got frustrated and I said it."
Amber went on to say, "I feel like Kim and her family, they manipulate the media and they want people to believe what they want them to believe. I just had to put the truth out there and I had to get it off my chest."
Additionally, Rose admitted that Kardashian's ex, Reggie Bush, and her rebounded with each other after their breakups with Kanye and Kim.

This story is in In Touch, so who knows if it’s true, but I wouldn’t be surprised. They’re claiming that Jessica Simpson was enrolled in Lamaze classes to prepare for the birth of her baby in April (I still can’t believe she’s only six months along) but that she dropped out and scheduled a c-section. Jessica’s sister Ashlee was in labor for 3 days, which In Touch claims heavily influenced Jessica’s decision to say “screw it” and not bother trying for a natural birth.
Jessica Simpson has dropped out of… Lamaze… She was taking the classes with her fiance, Eric Johnson, but after a few lessons, she decided to skip natural childbirth and schedule a C-section instead. Jessica’s younger sister, Ashlee, was in labor for nearly three days, and going through the Lamaze classes reminded Jessica, 31, of what Ashlee endured. “Jessica can’t wait to become a mother, but she quickly decided that giving birth the old-fashioned way just wasn’t for her. So she is planning a C-section in late April,” a friend says. “She’s already booked a $2,800 suite at Cedars-Sinai hospital in LA.”

I’ve mentioned before that I had my son in a birth center without medication, but I did it due to a fear of doctors and hospitals, not for any noble reason. My husband and I took Bradley Method classes, and I dropped out about 1/2 way through as the classes were boring and I totally thought I had it down. I was so wrong. Labor was calm and fine for me, but when I got to the pushing part I was unprepared for what a total bitch it was. I never should have ditched those classes. Maybe Jess saw some birthing videos or read some materials in class that made her realize it wasn’t for her. To each their own when it comes to such a personal matter and I don’t blame her. She didn’t go into it thinking she was too posh to push, she just realized it before it was down to the wire.
Also, people may think that a $2,800 suite is excessive, and it very well may be. The birthing center I went to cost $5,000, but that included everything and my insurance covered it. That’s just for the birth and 12 hours of convalescing. They don’t even have a doctor there, it’s all midwives. After 12 hours they kick you out, but a midwife came to visit me at home the next day to make sure that the baby and I were fine. If you have an emergency during delivery they just transfer you to the hospital next door. It’s expensive to have a baby.

While I was sitting around last night, preparing for a Jolie-Pitt-Fassbender extravaganza at the Critics Choice Awards, Angelina was sizing up Fassy?s beast preparing for her LIVE video web chat in which regular people got to ask her questions. I haven?t watched but a few minutes of it, but it seems rather budget and cute. Angelina fielded questions about In the Land of Honey for the most part, and she talked about having a breakdown while directing:
Even Angelina Jolie has her doubts. During a live video web chat with Marie Claire Thursday, the 36-year-old revealed that she had a “complete meltdown” before production began on her directorial debut, In the Land of Blood and Honey.
“I had a complete emotional breakdown in the shower and Brad [Pitt] found me crying,” Jolie revealed. “I felt this huge responsibility and I felt very small. ‘Who am I to take this on?’”
The mother of six and UN Goodwill Ambassador admitted she’s still somewhat uncomfortable with her sudden career change. “I didn’t plan to become a director, and I still have trouble saying I’m a director,” Jolie explained.
“I just wanted to tell this story and I ended up by default being the director,” the Oscar winner said. “It was a pleasure, but I wonder if it would be a pleasure with another cast and crew, and a subject matter that wasn’t so special.”
When talking about the Bosnian War, she said: ?I knew very little, like most Americans. I was 17 so I wasn’t very focused. I was my own form of self-destructive, and it was a bad time? I was a punk… you don’t imagine you could ever be a role model.?
The subject matter, which is close to her heart, has helped her to realize the importance of teaching her children certain values. When asked by a fan what lessons she wished to pass onto her children, the actress said ‘compassion and respect’. She said: ?I want my children to be aware of the world around them and have respect for all people around the world. From the nature of the make-up of my family, they learn a lot about each other. They don?t see this divide which is dangerous.?
Jolie’s film, In the Land of Blood and Honey, is nominated for a Golden Globe. She and Pitt, 48, are scheduled to attend the ceremony together on Sunday.

Tila Tequila is claiming that she is on her way to becoming Jewish, much like the way I used to the bullies in high school that it didn’t matter if they kicked my ass because I could always Force-heal afterward. TMZ says,
TMZ has learned Tequila has been taking classes at a NY temple to begin the conversion process … and even skipped Christmas this year to focus on change.
We spoke with the former MTV reality star about the situation and she explained, “As time passed, I started to become more and more fascinated with Kabbalah, the culture, and the way of life of the reform Judaism religion.”
And even though she starred in a sex tape, Tequila says … “I feel Orthodox is a little hardcore for me at this stage.”
Tila adds, “I just feel like the Jewish people have such a beautiful way about them, and I can’t wait to officially be Jewish! Shabbat Shalom.”
In the real world*, someone as crazy as her would be relegated to a corner in the backyard, tethered to a tree, given the monthly shower with the garden hose, and fed stale Ritz crackers. In Hollywood, however, media outlets pick up the story and she gets publicity. They never tell you in school that “crazy” can be a marketable skill.

Strangely enough, there was plenty of yellow to be found last night at the Critics Choice Awards. It seems like an odd choice for January, and most of it was overdone to the max. First, we have Diane Kruger in a rare red carpet miss. Diane can usually wear anything and look like Aphrodite incarnate, but this yellowish Grecian Prada gown was just terrible. Overall, the dress would’ve looked better in a solid color instead of pairing a lighter yellow with darker painter stripes along the sides of the skirt. And the blue grey tone of the rest of the dress with the built-in bra cups? Oh, Diane. Then she chose to accessorize with hot Pink lipstick and a matching Prada clutch. I’m really not sure what happened here, but it’s like Diane really went out of her way to look bad. Maybe she lost a bedroom-oriented bet with Joshua Jackson? I need to believe that to justify the existence of this dress.
Also, the purposely messy hair was a bit too messy and the hot Pink color makes her lips look extremely tiny. Not good.
Elizabeth Olsen (nominated for Best Actress in Martha Marcy May Marlene) faired slightly better with a short Emilio Pucci dress. Lizzie has a bit of difficulty dressing to her body type, and this dress (like many of her other choices) makes her look slightly hippy. Yet she’s showing off great legs, and the hair is just right.
And of course, once Lizzie flashed her fabulous smile, all was forgiven.
Finally, Elle Fanning (who was up for Best Young Actor/Actress in Super 8) emphasized her youth with a whimsical Rodarte dress. Elle is still so young, so she gets a pass for wearing daisies (or are those sunflowers?) on the red carpet.
Still, Elle really should’ve put her hair in a messy updo instead of letting it hang all over the place. She’s got plenty of time to learn though.

I talk a lot of smack about Kristen Stewart, some of which she deserves, some of it she might not. But at the end of the day, I do think she?s a pretty girl, and I think she?s making some interesting career moves. This one took me by surprise, though – Kristen was just named the new face of Balenciaga?s fragrance for women. K-Stew will the the official lip-biter for a perfume! This is her first endorsement deal – apart from all of the Twilight crap, of course – and Balenciaga is an interesting choice for her. I think if Kristen had been brought in to work with a more mainstream company like, say, Lancome, there would be a backlash, just as there was with Emma Watson and her Justin Bieber haircut. But to sign on to front a perfume for the not-so-mainstream Balenciaga? It?s a surprisingly smart move.
Last year, Kristen Stewart’s fans watched her transform from a grungy tomboy to a glamorous style star who rocked gorgeous gowns on the red carpet and posed for the covers of W and Vogue.
And the 21-year-old Twilight star just landed her first high profile fashion gig as the face of the newest Balenciaga fragrance for women.
“Balenciaga has always stood out to me,” Stewart told WWD. “Even when I first began to consider fashion and admittedly rarely knew the brand I was wearing, I always recognized and loved Balenciaga. It feels full circle to be involved with something that spoke to me then and of course continues to excite me now. The brand is just cool. That’s the way it is. I feel drawn to it. It provokes on a number of levels. It isn’t afraid or contrived. It hits a very cool balance, always. Always pretty undeniable.”
The fragrance campaign is expected to be launched this fall. In the meantime, Stewart is enjoying some rare downtime after shooting three films in 2011 (On the Road, Snow White and the Huntsman and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn ? Part 2).

You would just die if you ever did anything uncool. Coolness was the ultimate goal in life. And Kristen?s bringing that hipster cred (for real?) to Balenciaga.
I?m including the Snow White & the Huntsman trailer again, just because I think this was another smart move for K-Stew, career-wise. I?m actually looking forward to seeing this.

Heather Locklear is doing what any aging, former soap opera star would do to get back in the spotlight, if only for a few precious, fleeting moments: have a night downing prescription pills and booze. Also known as, “A damn good time”. Says Digital Spy,
Heather Locklear is said to be in a conscious and stable condition after being rushed to hospital on Thursday (January 12).
The Melrose Place actress – who successfully completed an in-patient rehabilitation program for a prescription drug dependency in 2010 after being involved in a hit-and-run accident – was examined by paramedics and taken for medical treatment in an ambulance.
It is thought that she may have mixed prescription drugs and alcohol.
A spokesperson for Los Robles Hospital told KNBC Los Angeles that Locklear will remain in hospital overnight, adding that she is conscious, stable and “resting comfortably”.
“Successfully completed an in-patient rehabilitation program” these days just means that you A. had enough money to bribe the orderly to slip you your drug of choice or B. have a sympathetic mom who hides your stash in her abundant cleavage. Guess which one is my favorite method?

Kristin has been going through a difficult time as of late, as her father Dennis Cavallari has been revealed as having a five-year-long affair with a woman named Tracy Sill.
Miss Sill told press, ?He told me he loved me and even lied about not being married in a desperate attempt to continue our relationship. When Kristin discovers the truth, she will see her father for what he really is: a philandering, sex-crazed cheat.?

If you?re going to wear Azzedine Alaa Haute Couture, you better have a body like Charlize Theron, because she?s one of the few people that could pull off this dress (from the fall collection). I actually think Charlize might be slightly overdressed for a more low-key event like the Critics Choice – traditionally, the dress code is business-cocktail, but in the past few years, more celebrities are treating it like a larger awards show, and they do the black-tie tuxedos and full-length gowns. I?m just saying – this dress would have been lovely for Charlize for the Golden Globes, where she’s also nominated for Best Actress for Young Adult. The fact that she didn?t save it for the Globes makes me think that she?s going to wear some huge, statement dress with a giant train and at least one gigantic bow.
That being said, I do think she looks beautiful. I like Charlize in black, and this dress is interesting enough to stand out. On Charlize, the tiered, ruffled skirt looks elegant. On another woman, it would look like a puffy, fug dust ruffle. The scalloped detail on the bodice of the gown is interesting too, and once again, Charlize is one of the few who can make it work.
As for Charlize?s hair and makeup – love the intricate, braided hairstyle. Very pretty. Her makeup is kind of meh, right? And I swear, I still think she looks slightly jacked in some photos.

I think Emma Stone must be exhausted. She certainly LOOKS exhausted. This girl has been on the red carpet endlessly for a year. Her stylist must be close to a nervous breakdown at this point. These are photos of Emma at the Critics Choice Awards last night, where Emma was once again representing The Help. The Help won Best Ensemble, so at least Emma was there for that.
Emma?s dress is Jason Wu, one of the First Lady?s favorite designers. Is it just me, or do the cutouts combined with the belt form a face? Two eyes, a nose and an angry mouth. I anoint this dress the ?Green Goblin Gown?. It?s also the second time this week that Emma has worn emerald green – she wore green and black Gucci for the People?s Choice Awards on Wednesday! I love that Emma owns her (bottled) ginger and wears green anyway – many people say redheads shouldn?t wear green, but that?s not a style rule I like. In any case, I?m not crazy about the dress, but I think Emma is simply running out of stuff to wear, so whatever.
What are the thoughts on her hair and makeup? I think she wears too much makeup for such a young woman – but she?s said in the past that she loves to play around with lipsticks and eye makeup, and I guess she?s still learning what suits her face. With that face, you really don?t need much. And you certainly don?t need blue eyeliner.

I?ve really grown to love Evan Rachel Wood over the past year. I think she?s right up there with Carey Mulligan and Mia Wasikowska for ?the best 20-something actresses? currently. But my ERW love has limits, and this hairstyle is definitely pushing them. Evan was at the Critics Choice Awards, likely to help represent The Ides of March. Evan wore this Valentino gown which? fine, I?ll just say it. I LOVE IT. Please don?t disregard all of the bad things I?ve said about lace and crochet dresses before. Lace and crochet is almost always horrible, I swear!!!! But for some reason, I?m in love with this dress, and I adore it on Evan. I think it works because it?s mostly solid, and the ?lace? part isn?t really lace, maybe? It?s, like, perforated fabric? Whatever. I love it. Go ahead and yell at me.
But, as I said, I?m not loving her hair. From certain angles, the little peaks looked like horns. And from other angles, it looked like her hair was still done up in old-timey ribbon curls. I hate to say this too – but she needs to go a shade darker. Just do a honey blonde, maybe? It would make her look so washed out. Still, the makeup is fabulous.

As I mentioned before, I recently saw My Week With Marilyn, and I really was impressed with Michelle Williams? performance. I?m not fighting with you about her anymore, at least not about her talent. She?s talented, and her work as Marilyn Monroe was solid-to-great. I?ll be pleased if Michelle ends up with another Oscar nomination for Best Actress. But I?ll be kind of disappointed if she wins – I don?t think she should win. It was a good enough movie overall for her to win. But I?m happy to see her at all of the awards shows.
So here?s Michelle at last night?s Critics Choice Awards, where she lost to Viola Davis (who owned it). Michelle went with Chanel, from the 2012 Resort collection. Michelle memorably wore Chanel to last year?s Oscars too, and I absolutely loved her Oscar gown. I?m not completely in love with this gown, but it?s okay. It fits her beautifully and I like that she went for monochromatic black-and-white rather than a wispy, delicate, fragile pastel or barely-there metallic.
As for her styling – meh. I?m still happy that her hair is darker, but the cut is still too short, I think. She needs to grow out those itty-bitty bangs. She can still have short hair, she should just have it, like, a shaggy Mick Jagger cut. I?d like to see her with a different lipstick color too, I think. But one word about Michelle?s skin: PERFECTION. She has beautiful skin!! It looks flawless here, and it looked flawless in My Week With Marilyn too.
Also – I?m pretty sure Busy Phillips was just there as Michelle?s date. Busy is often Michelle?s date at these events, and I think their friendship and girly date nights are super-cute.

George Clooney was anointed by Hollywood last night at the Critics Choice Awards. At least, that?s how it went in George?s mind. Look? one of my problems with George is that although he and I share many of the same political views, I?m usually turned off by his political and general smugness. I feel like his speech about Haiti – not to mention his acceptance speech – turned into a ?Clooney Knows Best, Listen Up Women and Children, I?m Going To Tell You What You Should Think About Important Issues? lecture. Do I agree with what he says for the most part? Yep. I just find his attitude unbearable sometimes. Although?I did think it was sweet when George won and he went over to the Moneyball table and he and Brad Pitt kissed each other. Brad was really classy, and he gave George a standing ovation. Their bromance is sweet.
Anyway?George was there with Oscar-Date Barbie, of course. This is one of the first red carpets where Stacy has worn her hair down. I?m surprised by how cute she looks with a blowout! She should wear it down more often, it really softens her. It makes her look younger too – perhaps too young, because it really does seem like George is showing off his daughter, right?
Stacy?s dress is Armani – Armani loves George, and Armani always ends up dressing George?s girls. The fit of the dress is great, and I even like the little cowl neck, and the sparkly straps at the back. This is a solid look for Stacy, one of her best. Her makeup is even subdued! No drag queeny makeup for Oscar Date-Barbie.
The camera kept cutting to George?s table too, and Stacy always looked lively and happy. I saw her posing for photos with Viola Davis, which? I mean, Viola has better things to do. Stacy seems like an enthusiastic puppy, just happy to jump around and get attention. We’ll see, Stacy. We’ll see.

It’s the divorce that just won’t die, y’all. Until Katy Perry and Russell Brand both make comprehensive and unequivocal statements about their split (and who could honestly expect them to do so?), the rumors will only continue despite the fact that Katy herself has recently insisted to everyone that no one speaks for her (not even her family). Nice try, but people will talk, including her family.
So let’s do a quick recap of the latest updates. Moving vans have been spotted toting Russell’s belongings from he and Katy’s home to a very large house in Beverly Hills that is understood to be his new home. Likewise, Katy is said to have moved from the couple’s house as well into a new $1.9 million pad in the Los Feliz area. Katy has also reportedly been hiding out in Santa Barbara at her grandmother’s house because “Katy always runs to her granny when she’s in trouble. She’s been giving Katy a real dose of family love and strong advice about how to heal a broken heart.” Presumably, Katy also chose grandma because she won’t be running to the press like a certain set of parents.
In addition, a story that originated with Bang Showbiz reports that Katy knew nothing of Russell’s plans before he filed for divorce and thought their issues were down to “normal couple problems.” You know, normal stuff that isn’t wheelchair pr0n or strategic wedding ring removal. Now, In Touch is reporting that Katy has found her way back to the power of prayer, and she’s asking God to bring back Russell. Are the tabloids just getting lazy?

The family that prays together stays together — at least that’s what singer Katy Perry and her evangelical minister parents, Keith and Mary Hudson, are hoping. While many jilted brides would just tell their husbands to go to hell, Katy, who grew up in a devout Christian household, believes divine intervention could save her 14-month marriage to Russell Brand, 36. “Katy has said that she will do anything for a second shot,” reveals an insider close to the Hudsons.
All this despite the fact that over the course of their relationship, Katy, 27, grew increasingly frustrated by Russell’s wandering eye. Still, she’s willing to overlook her hubby’s major shortcomings. “You’ve got to be loving, bcause it is the love of God that draws anybody to change their mind,” Katy’s mom insists of her son-in-law’s decision to file for divorce. Although Russell was [the one who filed] for divorce, the insider says Katy’s family “isn’t blaming him.” And if there’s no last-minute miracle? “I’m going to be there for Katy no matter what, just like Jesus is there for us, no matter what,” reassures her dad.

Yeah, this story is crap and probably planted by Katy’s parents just like the hopeful Tim Tebow romance. If Katy’s smart, she’ll take awhile to get over the shock and hurt of divorce before pulling a JLo and hopping immediately back into a relationship. When Katy’s ready, there’ll no doubt be very little shortage of waiting candidates for their turn on the Perry Pony Ride. Even Daniel Radcliffe has revealed that he’s got a major crush on Katy, but I don’t think he’s really her type. Daniel is far too nice.
By the way, these aren’t new photos of Katy. I just wanted to dig up some 2010 award show pictures to mix things up a bit since she’s been out of the public eye since the split.

Heather Locklear was rushed to the hospital on Thursday after her sister called 911 afraid that Heather was in danger. Turns out she was as she had mixed prescription drugs with alcohol. Heather has been presumably distraught over her on and off relationship with Jack Wagner who she had recently called off her engagement with.
A hospital spokesperson tells TMZ, Heather was awake and responsive when she arrived today — and she is currently responding well to treatment. According to the spokesperson, Heather is doing much better now and doctors are hopeful she will be released tomorrow. TMZ
Actresses always have to be dramatic. Why can’t they deal with problems like normal women using time honored traditions such as passiveaggressiveness, the silent treatment and scissors to cut the brake lines with?

After spending the morning out with boyfriend Austin Butler, Vanessa Hudgens packed her bags and headed off to catch a flight in Los Angeles on Thursday night (January 12).
Clad in a loose knitted white top and brown boots along with her usual fedora hat, the "Beastly" babe was all smiles as she walked alongside a security staffer to the international terminal entrance at LAX Airport.
The out of town travels come a day after Miss Hudgens hit the red carpet in a spider-web inspired gown by Jenny Packham at the 2012 People's Choice Awards.
Of her sexy outfit, the 23-year-old told MTV, "It's fun, it's daring and definitely not of the norm. I think that's kind of me."

Stepping out to tend to her newly acquired work duties, Miranda Kerr was spotted at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles, California on Thursday evening (January 12).
The Aussie beauty joined alongside John Travolta for the Qantas Airways Spirit of Australia Party after having just been named as the airline's ambassador.
Honored with her new title, Miss Kerr said in a statement, "I grew up with Qantas which is such an iconic Australian brand. I?m proud of my Australian heritage and I?m so excited that I will now be able to represent Australia?s premium airline around the world. "I travel frequently and from the moment I step onboard a Qantas flight I feel at home."
Qantas boss Alan Joyce was thrilled with the choice for his airline, as he added, "Miranda Kerr is one of the most photographed and recognizable people in the world."

Satisfying her need for a little retail therapy, Kim Kardashian teamed up with Robin Antin for a Beverly Hills shopping spree on Thursday afternoon (January 12).
Clad in high waisted trouser pants and a bright red silk blouse, the E! reality star and her Pussycat Dolls founder pal combed the racks at Barneys New York before Kim took to a nearby salon for a relaxing mani/pedi treatment.
The sighting comes as Miss Kardashian posted a heartfelt message on her Celebuzz site about this particular day being the two year anniversary of Haiti's devastating earthquakes.
Kim wrote, "It is so hard for us to imagining waking up one day to find everything we own destroyed, everything we know turned upside down, our loved ones taken away in the blink of an eye. But this was the reality for thousands of Haitian people, who had little time to grieve their losses and bravely started rebuilding their world.
In December Maria Bello invited my mom and I out to Haiti to meet the amazing people who have made so much progress since the earthquake. I was amazed and inspired by how upbeat and strong the women I met were, despite everything they had been through. They took it upon themselves to start re-growing their economy and helping others do the same, and I have so much admiration for these women.
But even though they have come so far, there is still a long way to go. Half a million people are still homeless, living in temporary camps, and I think it?s important that we keep spreading awareness and raising funds for the continued rebuilding of Haiti. It?s easy to throw the newspaper away or click away from this blog post and forget, but please let?s all spare a thought for the people of Haiti today and help in any way we can.
Thank you to We Advance and all of the organizations who work so hard to help rebuild Haiti. I was touched by the incredible people I met in Haiti, and thank them all for their warmth and hospitality and I pray for their continued strength and growth. Xo"

Starting off the day with press rounds, Vanessa Lachey paid a visit to SiriusXM Studios in New York City on Thursday (January 12).
The former Miss Teen USA looked fabulous in an all-black ensemble as she signed the wall of famous names before offering up an interview.
Prior to her Sirius visit, Vanessa gave an interview in which she spoke about how she's handling life as a married lady, to which she replied, ?It?s good! In a good way, nothing is dramatically different, so I think that means we were good to begin with. We worked out all of our kinks when we dated and after everything we?ve been through, there?s nothing that we can?t handle and take on. It?s a comforting thought to know that I?ve got my partner by my side walking through life and all the ups and the downs. I know we can handle it. There?s nothing too big or too crazy that?s going to tear us apart.?
Also revealing her hopes for the future, the 31-year-old dished, ?I think as I?ve gotten older, I?ve learned to look at life and take every day as it comes. Not that I don?t have goals and dreams, but now that I?m married, I?m excited to start that next chapter of being a wife and someday being a mom and just moving forward and seeing what life brings me. So far, life has brought me good things: I?m on a great show, I?ve got great friends, and a good husband, so I?m happy!?
