The glammed-up rockers happened to be making an appearance at "Good Day New York" - where they offered up a live performance during the course of their visit.
Meanwhile, the "Gossip Girl" actress and her musical mates only have a few more days left before taking to the road.
The quartet will be heading off to take part in the Vans Warped tour, which will be going on from June 25 to August 15th.

Talking to MTV News about her latest album, ?Can?t Be Tamed,? the ?Party in the USA? singer tells, "There are a lot of songs that are about Liam," then jokingly adding, ?I tell him every one?s about
him.?
Going a bit deeper, Ms Cyrus also revealed, "All of them are about him in a way, but it's also about past relationships that you gotta get over and move on and just about freeing yourself from anything that you feel holds you back. Just let go of anything that's not going to help you in your future and ... always keep going forward."
When asked which songs are Liam?s favorites, Miley responded, "He likes 'Permanent December,' I think a lot, but only because it says Australia and he's Australian, so he likes that it says that. And he loves 'Tamed.' He's trying to make me teach him the [video] dance, but I refuse to do it."

Opening herself up to a true cultural experience, Alicia Keys recently had her unborn baby blessed in a traditional Zulu ceremony while in South Africa for the World Cup.
According to the UK?s Daily Mail, the 5-month pregnant ?No One? singer joined hands with her fianc Swizz Beatz for an outdoor blessing near Durban which is on the country?s eastern coast.
Decked out in tribal beads, the happy couple and their baby were given Zulu names while standing under a fig tree also known as a ?healing tree? by locals who believe it brings good health and fortune.
Alicia's mother and brother were among the crowd of around 50 people who watched her get another blessing for her great work with her charity called Bobbi Bear which runs a weekly HIV clinic.

The ?Simple Life? babe had her probation term extended for one more year due to her failure to comply with the classroom requirements.
As of her latest hearing, Nicole will be on probation until March of 2011, though the judge may terminate the prolonged term if Richie gets her work done early.
The official report noted, ?Her attitude is excellent,? a welcome change from that of other legally challenged celebrities.

During the course of the activity, Kim checked out a massive poster of herself, and caught unsuspecting perfume shoppers by surprise as she walked around the stores.

She?s being sued over a 2007 chase on the Pacific Coast Highway and Lindsay Lohan may have to admit she was on cocaine during the incident.
The defendant Tracie Rice is petitioning the judge to tell the jury that LiLo was found to have coke in her pocket at the time of the arrest and her urine test showed two types of the drug in her system.
Furthermore, if the judge won?t grant the request, Rice is asking that Lindsay not be permitted to deny the presence of cocaine if asked by the prosecution.

During her interview on ?The Late Show with David Letterman,? the ?From Dusk Til Dawn? babe confessed her love for munching on bugs. While discussing her penchant for grasshoppers, Salma exclaimed, "Look, I'm salivating. They're delicious."
She added, "These little ants fried are amazing ? with a little guacamole. And the worms ? there are many different recipes for those.

With "Avatar" paving the way for the 3-D era in film, there has been talk about the upcoming "Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn" being created in the oh-so-popular lifelike format.
Asked about her thoughts on the possibility, Kristen Stewart seemed keen on the idea, as she told MTV News, "I'm probably speaking out of line or whatever, but I think it would be awesome."
Continuing on, the Bella Swan babe added, "Nobody knows what it's like to look through the eyes of a vampire. What if [Bella] opens her eyes to this extraordinary world? It could be cool."
Still in the dark as to what to expect once she gets under the direction of "Breaking Dawn" director Bill Condon, Kristen told, "I'm really excited. I didn't want to read the script that was just one [movie]. It would have lacked so much because you just couldn't cram the story into one. At least that was my opinion, so I'm really excited."

In the wake of her sister’s somewhat ignorant and hypocritical statements bashing a woman for daring to nurse her baby in public, Kourtney Kardashian has revealed that she loves to breastfeed her son Mason, six months. She calls the experience “amazing” and tells us that she recently introduced the infant to solid food. I’m surprised we haven’t heard more about it, considering how much personal information she shared with the press during her pregnancy.

The 31-year-old reality TV star - who has six-month-old Mason Dash with her boyfriend Scott Disick -loves the benefits breastfeeding offers for both her body and that of her son.
She explained in her People.com blog: “I’m still loving it. I love the bonding time, love that it’s natural and what your body is made to do, love the benefits for his body and mine. I find it to be such an amazing womanly thing.”
Kourtney - who recently starred alongside her 25-year-old sister Khloe in ‘Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami’ - admitted she has just started incorporating solids into Mason’s diet, which is leaving the youngster “confused”.
She said: “When I introduced it to him, he seemed confused - but ready and excited for it! I still want to continue breastfeeding for maybe another six months or as long as Mason still wants it.”
The socialite recently revealed her son reminds her of her father, lawyer Robert Kardashian, who died of oesophageal cancer in 2003.
Kourtney explained: “It’s more than his looks that remind me of my dad - even Mason’s energy reminds me of him. Mason is very mellow, calm, peaceful and happy. He’s such a funny little boy who is always laughing and smiling.”

That’s really sweet and you can tell that Kourtney just adores little Mason. I’m glad that she’s advocating breastfeeding and that it works for her and her child. I would have liked to hear her say that her sister was wrong to call out that woman for feeding her baby, though. It’s fine to say that diapers should be changed in private, and maybe Kim was dealing with a completely careless and rude person who didn’t try to cover up at all, but it still came across as ignorant. While I understand that many people think breastfeeding is something that should be done so discreetly no one realizes it’s happening, I also know that it’s sometimes impossible to do. I nursed my son and was often forced to go to bathrooms to feed him when we lived in the states. I remember people giving me the evil eye for nursing my son in the bathroom. I tried to cover up and be private about it when we were out, and it was sometimes very frustrating. Once we moved overseas, I was able to nurse him without stressing out about it, because people in Germany just don’t care or even notice. I wish more Americans could be like that. I guess it’s wrong to assume that a woman who makes a living out of sharing her personal life, being provocative and waving her tits around would understand when they’re used for their natural purpose.

For two weekends in a row, Lady Gaga went to a baseball game in New York and made an ass out of herself. The first time, she allegedly showed up drunk at Shea Stadium, then proceeded to get even more bombed as people started coming up to her and talking to her. Security was concerned, so they moved her to a private box - which happened to be owned by Jerry Seinfeld. Then last weekend, Gaga arrived again, in her bra and panties and got bombed again in a private box, then broke into the locker room and began feeling up her Gaga tittays. She was very nearly banned - but I don?t think she was in the end. Anyway, somebody decided to get Jerry Seinfeld?s take on the situation - and let?s just say he?s not a fan.
Twelve days after Lady Gaga wound up in his box at Shea Stadium during a Mets game, Jerry Seinfeld has called her “a jerk” and then some. Joking or no? Read and decide.
“This woman is a jerk. I hate her,” Seinfeld said during a WFAN radio interview on Monday, perhaps . “I can’t believe they put her in my box, which I paid for.”
Gaga, dressed in bra and swilling beer, was moved from her front row seat to Seinfeld’s empty box (without his knowledge) after flipping off photographers.
“You give people the finger and you get upgraded? Is that the world we’re living in now?” he said.
Seinfeld first said when asked about the June 10th incident, reports the NY Post, “I wish her the best.. you take one ‘A’ off of that and you’ve got gag.”
“I don’t know what these young people think or how they promote their careers,” Seinfeld said. “I’m older, I’m 56. I look at Lady Gaga the way Keith Hernandez watches these kids when they pull the pocket out, they wear the inside-out pocket. … Do you think he understands that? He can’t understand that. That’s a new game, that’s kids.”
He added, “I’m not one of these all-publicity-is-good people. People talk about you need exposure — you could die of exposure.”
The Mets game in question was eight days before the Yankees episode that landed her on the cover of Sunday’s New York Post.

As for the trio's chemistry, a source tells People magazine, "They really get along really well. You can see they've gotten to be friends on this ... It's like a trip that way. There's this chemistry and sometimes its almost conspiratorial but these girls really adore each other."

Putting the finishing touches on his new movie, George Clooney was back on the set of "The American" in Sulmona, Italy on Tuesday (June 22).
Flanked by police and security personnel, the hunky actor headed to a local cafe as he began re-shooting scenes for the upcoming thriller flick.
In the film, Mr Clooney is playing a character named Jack, who is described as "a professional killer attempting to escape his trade after one last assignment to the Italian countryside."
Directed by Anton Corbijn, "The American" is slated to make its way into theaters on September 1, 2010.

Tori Spelling has admitted that she worries that her husband Dean McDermott may cheat on her.
In an interview on KIIS-FM’sRyan Seacrest Show, the 37-year-old said that she struggles with insecurities which make her feel naturally suspicious of McDermott’s loyalty.
“I’m a normal girl, and I worry about that stuff,” she explained.
“You know how girls are! Girls get jealous. You have to deal with that living all the time. It happens. We are who we are.”
She added that her husband doesn’t share her fears for their relationship.
“He doesn’t really get jealous. I feel like an oddball being jealous all the time.”
Constantly asking your spouse, “Do you love me?” and demanding to be told how beautiful you are and following around them around in a floppy hat and sunglasses and peering through binoculars and leaving little notes for them outside the door of their work that say, “If you ever leave me, I would kill myself, and maybe you” and painting pictures of them and leaving them so they can see them when they wake up in the morning, is probably the very best thing you can do to win their affection. I did that with my ex and I got a stupid restraining order, but it’s just his stupid interfering parents that made him do it, so I know he REALLY WANTS TO BE WITH ME. Sweetie….call me.

Tori Spelling was interviewed on the Ryan Seacrest radio show yesterday. She’s promoting her new book, Uncharted TerriTORI. She initially talked about the “farm” she has on her property, explaining that she wants to be “asked anything besides ‘marriage,’ ‘mother’ and ‘weight’.’ She said they have chickens, dogs, bunnies and a goat along with a small vineyard. The conversation soon turned to the well worn topics that Spelling claimed she wanted to avoid, of course.
On worrying that Dean would cheat - it was taken out of context
“I did say that, in context. It’s part of my book. People Magazine had an excerpt from my book. I said ‘I’m a normal girl, we worry about that stuff.’ You know how girls are, girls get jealous.
“When you take it out of context and say ‘I think my husband’s gonna cheat on me,’ it sounds horrible.”
“[Dean] doesn’t get jealous [of me]… I feel like an oddball being jealous all the time.”

Lindsay Lohan has staunchly defended her upcoming portrayal of sex movie star LINDA LOVELACE - insisting the biopic will NOT be pornographic. The troubled star’s outspoken dad MICHAEL is among the dissenting voices to have blasted Lindsay for stepping into the high heels of the 70s porn queen.
He fears playing Lovelace - who shot to fame in notorious skin flick Deep Throat - will end his daughter’s career in Hollywood.
However, Lindsay - who’s due to start shooting Inferno later this year - has hit back at criticism, claiming Lovelace’s controversial XXX life story will be told tastefully by director MATTHEW WILDER.
She said: “The way that Matthew wants to shoot it is not vulgar. It’s not about the raw sex and the shots of her fully nude. It’s more about getting into her psyche and seeing how scared she was. That’s what I want to show most in the film.?
“People are going to say: ‘Oh, Lindsay Lohan is doing a porno.’ But it’s not like that. I’ve never played someone’s true-life story before. A lot of the other movies I did were just brainless for me. So it’s nice to play something where I’m able to experience all these different emotions.”

The district attorney in Lindsay Lohan?s probation case has a new target in their investigation. RadarOnline.com has learned Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorney Danette Meyers plans to interview Lohan?s former assistant, Eleonore Lieven, who walked out on the actress earlier this month — and orchestrated the plans to eventually get the troubled actress back to Los Angeles from her ill-fated trip to Cannes, to face court. Meyers? move to call Lieven as a key witness in the case could set up a courtroom showdown between boss and staffer.
“The district attorney is very interested in Eleonore,? a source close to the situation told RadarOnline.com. ?At the very least, an investigator from the D.A.’s office will be making contact with Lieven. A decision will be made about whether Eleonore will testify depending on what is gathered from the initial meeting with investigator. But if she is called, it could be very explosive and could very well go badly, very quickly for Lohan.?
Lohan?s right-hand woman, Lieven, lasted a few, tumultuous months and was left ?exhausted? after her role. She handed in her notice after being constantly on call and cited bad hours, bad pay and bad attitude as the reason. One source has told RadarOnline.com Lieven spent a panicked three days attempting to ensure the troubled Mean Girls star returned from France, after she claimed her passport was stolen.
?Eleonore literally didn’t sleep for three days trying to get Lindsay back to Los Angeles,? said a source. ?Meyers wants to gather specific information about the particulars of when the assistant was notified about the passport missing.”
The latest development follows our revelation that the alcohol education program overseeing Lohan’s sobriety was slapped with a subpoena to appear before a judge in the case. Meyers served the troubled actor’s court-ordered alcohol education program, Right On Program, in Glendale, California, last Friday. Staff, including the program?s director, were ordered to testify at Lohan’s probation violation hearing on July 6.
