She's known for tweeting everything she's doing right down to her bedtime prayers, but Jessica Simpson says the next time she ties the knot it just might be in secret!
The 30-year-old, who is engaged to former NFL player Eric Johnson, has revealed she's open to marrying her man in on the down-low ? and says there's no wedding date set as yet.
"We've both been married before. We're enjoying our commitment to each other. We want to take our time ? We might elope if it gets to that point."
Jessica, who has said in the past that she wants a simple wedding and possibly to be married by Christmas 2011, also revealed there's one talented fashion mogul who will definitely have a hand in designing her wedding dress ? herself. She told, "I will be part of designing my own wedding gown."

Standing up for what he believes in, Jude Law protested in the streets of London, England earlier today (March 28) for those who are currently detained in Belarus.
The 38-year-old English actor showed his support for effort to defend human rights after Belarus detained international journalists who are charged with insulting the nation?s president.
Jude said this to the press, "We have the opportunity in this country to protest, to be heard and to use our freedom of speech. It's our responsibility, therefore, that we speak for those who are less fortunate, especially as fellow Europeans."
Law was joined in his efforts by fellow actor Kevin Spacey, along with more than 100 others, as the group called for an end of dictatorship in that country.

It was announced today that the ?Late Night with Jimmy Fallon? star is set to become Universal Studios Hollywood?s newest ?virtual studio tour guide.?
"We really had fun with filming my role," Jimmy said in a press release. "We brought some writers out from our show and added some jokes, more play with the Studio Tour guides, the tram drivers and we added a song or two. The tour itself is a classic, a really great experience.?
The virtual tour has given over 150 million guests a behind the scenes look at moviemaking with famous production locations ?War of the Worlds? airplane crash set as well as ABC?s ?Desperate Housewives? Wisteria Lane.

Giving a first look at his upcoming work, the theatrical trailer for "Midnight in Paris" has been released.
The much-awaited picture is directed by the legendary Woody Allen while starring Owen Wilson and Rachel McAdams.
A synopsis via IMDB tells that "Midnight in Paris" is "a romantic comedy about a family traveling to the French capital for business. The party includes a young engaged couple forced to confront the illusion that a life different from their own is better."
Also starring Kathy Bates, Adrien Brody and Carla Bruni, the film is set to premeiere this May at the Cannes Film Festival.

Britney Spears began promotion of her new album Femme Fatale this weekend with two surprise shows — one Friday night in Vegas that will air on MTV April 3rd, and another one yesterday in San Francisco that will air on Tuesday’s edition of Good Morning America. Radar Online says:
[Britney] changed costumes several times during the event, wearing luscious get-ups like a a silver sequined body-suit and a black leotard that accentuated her tremendous physique. She looked stunning in a series of outfits as she sang Hold It Against Me, Big Fat Bass, Till The World Ends.
The production was top-notch as well, as Brit?s elaborate stage set up was enhanced by a firework finale that ended the show.
Oh, yeah, baby — Britney’s still got it! If by “it” you meant “legs like a pair of tree trunks and as much gut as she has tit.” GMA probably needed those two extra days to edit out all the footage of her sitting down and sweating.

After a rocky past year with saw a near-divorce and father/daughter tension, the Cyrus family was together again in Toluca Lake, California on Sunday (March 27).
With Miley Cyrus showing off a sweet smile, the "Hannah Montana" starlet joined her mom, Tish, dad, Billy Ray, and her littler sister Noah in grabbing up coffees and juices at the local Coffee Bean.
The sighting comes shortly after Billy Ray and Tish called off their divorce plans, with Billy Ray also taking back comments about how he would change his decisions as a father.
During a visit with "Good Morning America," Billy Ray lovingly said, "Miley has a great heart. She's very intelligent. She will make good choices and she knows right from wrong."
Meanwhile, a People magazine insider tells that Miley is in much higher spirits since her parents' reunion, saying, "[She] seems happier and more relaxed in the past few days."

Gwen Stefani also donated $1 million to Save the Children. Telling Fox News she said, "I've been inspired by Japan for many years and have a true love, appreciation and respect for the Japanese people and their culture.?

I?ve talked about this before, but I really need to stress it for this post - I am not a wedding person. I don?t have the bride gene. When I see a show about picking out the perfect wedding gown, I change the channel to a rerun of Law & Order: SVU. Fluffy white gowns, seating arrangements, wedding waltzs, floral arrangements, all of that stuff that brides seem to obsess over - I just don?t care. This is probably one of the many reasons why I?m not married (that, and I?m not a baby person either). If and when I ever get married, it will not be some big thing. I?ll either elope, or go down to a court house while wearing a suit, or maybe something really, really simple with, like, barely anyone there and just a lot of food.
So imagine my surprise when I was reading even more details of Reese Witherspoon?s weekend wedding (go here for yesterday?s post about her nuptials), I found myself thinking, ?Damn, that sounds really nice.? Reese invited lots of A-listers to her wedding (RDJ!), but she kept everything really down-home and Southern and the whole thing sounds really cool:
When Reese Witherspoon wed Jim Toth at her Ojai, Calif. ranch on Saturday evening, the couple was 90 miles north of Los Angeles — but the vibe of the night was a universe away from Hollywood glitz! UsMagazine.com has brand-new details on the Oscar winner’s big-time nuptials.
In a courtyard in front of the Ojai house, the Monique Lhuillier-clad actress, 35, and CAA agent Toth, 40, exchanged vows and William Goldberg wedding bands beneath a canopy.
About 120 family members and friends– including Sean Penn, Scarlett Johansson, Renee Zellweger, Tobey Maguire and wife Jennifer Meyer, Robert Downey Jr., Matthew McConaughey and love Camila Alves, Alyssa Milano, Colin Hanks, Isla Fisher and hubby Sacha Baron Cohen– were on hand for the bash.
Reverend Jimmy Bartz, of the Santa Monica church regularly attended by the couple, officiated the 20-minute service, and Witherspoon’s children (with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe) Ava, 11, and Deacon, 7, participated in the ceremony.
Matron of honor duties went to Witherspoon’s best friend Heather Rosenfield, whose little boys served as ring bearers; the star’s nieces were flower girls.
In a fitting turn for the Southern-born actress, a bluegrass band played “Tennessee Waltz” as the processional music for Toth and the kids, segueing to “Here Comes the Bride” for Witherspoon’s walk, and playing “Will the Circle Be Unbroken” during the ceremony.
Immediately following the “I do” exchange, guests retreated to a one-hour cocktail party behind the house.
The special night’s theme? Rustic, farm-style, of course! (At her bucolic Ojai spread, Witherspoon gardens and keeps horses, donkeys, pigs, goats and chickens.) The outdoor decor included lanterns and chandeliers hanging from trees, mismatched antique chairs and distressed benches set throughout the property, a wood plank dance floor, antique leather sofas, jute rugs, wago wheels and Turkish textile pillows.
Different arrangements of white, blush and lavender flowers were set up on each table in mason jars, fish catcher lanterns and antique pots. And large moss-covered pots with lavender were set up all over the estate.
When it was time for dinner, guests sat down at long tables in a fabric-lined tent behind the house. On the menu, catered by L.A. eatery Lucques: endive salad with olives and fava beans; wild striped bass with potatoes, chanterelles and garlic; mustard grilled chicken with haricort vert and herb roasted lamb with braised artichokes. For dessert? A grand wedding cake designed by Erica O’Brien, a separate table of sweet treats — and a s’mores lounge!
After the meal, guests boogied on the dance floor to DJ-spun tunes. When it was time to call it a night, revelers departed clutching gift bags with pecan currant scones from a local baker.
Says a pal of the couple, who began dating in January 2010: “They feel like they’ve hit the jackpot in this relationship!”

Oscar winner Reese Witherspoon married boyfriend of one year Jim Toth at her 6-acre ranch in Ojai, California on Saturday. It was the second marriage for Reese, who was wed to actor Ryan Phillipe for seven years before divorcing him in 2007. Us Magazine says:
Wearing a custom-designed Monique Lhuillier gown, the actress, 35, exchanged vows with CAA agent Toth, 40, in front of 120 family members and friends (including Renee Zellweger, and Alyssa Milano, and Tobey Maguire) in the front courtyard of the Ojai house.

I actually met Reese Witherspoon right after she did Fear at this bar called Boundry in Nashville, and she was as nice and down-to-earth as she could be. At least until my douchebag boyfriend sauntered up and asked her if being finger-banged by Mark Wahlberg was the highpoint of her career. Then she said, “Yeah, it’s on my fucking resume, asshole” and flipped us the bird before storming off. Then I cried because a famous person gave me the middle finger in public. True story.

Sporting a snazzy black leather jacket, blue jeans, and a grey scarf, the ?Country Strong? actress made her way through the terminal with a big smile on her face.
As for the rumors that she was given a $1 million recording contract with Atlantic Records, Gwyn says it?s not true.
?The truth is, I really would love to make a record, but I don't know exactly how you do that so it's not cheesy. I would love to do it. I am having fun with it though, even if it's kind of giving me a mid-life crisis because I don't know who I am any more.?

Britney Spears is launching yet another album after her successful worldwide Circus tour about two years ago. As promotion for her new album Femme Fatale, out Tuesday, she did two brief shows in Vegas Saturday Night and then performed a free concert of the same three song set in San Francisco on Sunday. That show was taped for Good Morning America and will air tomorrow. They’re promoting the hell out of it and I keep seeing spots for it on TV, where they promise that we’ll get to “wake up and go to bed” with Britney. It doesn’t sound like that great a prospect to me, but she has a lot of fans and she puts out solid pop hits. An MTV special featuring Britney will also air this week.
Whoever thought Britney Spears had lost it … boy, were you ever wrong.
The 29-year-old Mississippi-born beauty, a mother-of-two, showed off her incredible figure — particularly her derriere — in front of 5,000 fans at San Francisco’s Bill Graham Civic Auditorium on Sunday. Part of the event will be broadcast on Good Morning America Tuesday, as host Robin Roberts, fresh off her testy chat with Chris Brown, joined Spears onstage at one point.

“Just wrapped GMA. I love love love you San Francisco! -Britney,” she tweeted, later adding, “Leaving the Castro District. I wanted to see more but I could barely get out the car!!! I love you all SO much … PS - Even my dad had a great time!”
She also thanked Jersey Shore’s Pauly D “for keeping the crowd pumped at my Vegas show on Friday night.”

Britney was touring nearly all of 2009 and she did very well. We barely heard much gossip about her, except for some minor wardrobe malfunctions, and lip syncing complaints. It looks like there’s more of the same planned for her soon. This “big announcement” she’s going to make on GMA will probably be for a tour of some kind. She’s got managers and lawyers and ex husbands to pay, and that’s where the money is. She looks great and more together than ever, and she’s doing what she knows. I’ve been waiting for the other shoe to drop for her for a while, but maybe she’s past all that now and ready to move on to the next phase in her career.

Treating herself to an evening of sport, Brenda Song was spotted at the Los Angeles Lakers basketball game last night (March 27).
The ?Social Network? hottie looked fabulous as she strolled around the Staples Center in a black leather jacket and boot-cut jeans.
Brenda was also celebrating her 23rd birthday at the game, and the Lakers gave her a victory over the New Orleans Hornets 102-84.

The lovely Matthew McConaughey was on Piers Morgan on Friday making me swoon with his sexy drawl. He’s promoting The Lincoln Lawyer, which is still fourth at the box office in its second week. It hasn’t yet recouped its production budget, but is hanging in there. It’s a shame because it’s said to be a solid legal thriller.
McConaughey gave a lot of great quotes, as is typical for him, and my favorite was when he checked out a clip of Matt Damon doing an impression of him on The Late Show in 2006. He smiled and said that it was a good job, but added that he didn’t know Damon that well. He also said he’d sent him a bunch of t-shirts from his J.K. Livin Foundation with a note that he didn’t need them, (since Damon joked that McConaughey is always taking off his shirt) but that Damon never sent him a thank you note.
In this web extra, McConaughey tells Piers Morgan about his first ? and arguably most iconic ? movie role in “Dazed and Confused.” “That was my first job and I could not have been handed a more fortunate working experience,” he said. McConaughey said the role came about because he was “in the right bar at the right time.”
There are a lot of McConaughey impressions ? what does he think of Matt Damon’s?
“That’s pretty good,” he said after watching it. “He did a good job on that, it sounds a lot like me.” McConaughey said he recently sent Damon some t-shirts, with a note: “obviously I don’t need these…. I never got a thank you.”

Aw, Damon should have at least sent a note back! Especially because McConaughey is his go-to impression.
McConaughey also talked about the first time he met his partner, Camila Alves, and how it felt so natural because they were so open and honest with each other. As for whether he’s ever going to make it official by marrying her, he said that not being married “doesn’t make me any less committed. It doesn’t make me love her any less.” That was really sweet.
As for how he’s stayed grounded after making a mint in movies, McConaughey said that he has money saved but that doesn’t mean he’s wasteful with it or forgets the lessons he’s learned about hard work:
I got a nice egg… I’m going, OK, I’m going to be fine, my lady is going to be fine, my kids are going to be fine. And we can go on living our lifestyle.
We’re not that indulgent. We don’t do that much stuff. But sometimes, you know, there are months when we get around the holidays and stuff where I look at the monthly bill and go, oh, yes, we spent some. That was a good one.

The Empire Awards were held last night in London, and some interesting people came out. I?ll be covering the (hot) dudes from the ceremony in a moment, I just wanted to talk about some of the girls right now. I suppose Keira Knightley was the closest thing to A-list at the show, and she looked like she knew it too. That?s what her face says to me ?I can?t believe I?m here, I?m so ABOVE this.? Of course, her face also says to me ?I need to detox and eat something? so maybe I?m just reading too much into faces this morning. The dress is Rodarte Fall 2011 RTW collection - I?m having difficulties seeing beyond the unflattering beige to actually look at the design of this thing. All in all, it?s not the worst thing Keira?s ever worn, but it?s not really good, either. And her face! Yikes. Do you remember how fresh and pretty Keira used to look? Don?t even try to pull the ?She looks the same!? card. This girl is dealing with something that is harming her physically.
Next: Lily Cole. When we last heard from Lily, she was boning David Gandy. For real. And when I put up some recent photos of her, her defenders were all ?You picked the worst photos! She?s prettier than that!!? Um, really? This is how she chose to present herself at the Empire Awards. Yellow Prada, headband, vague expression. And this is Gandy?s type? Ugh.
And lastly, my favorite - Noomi Rapace! She?s the original Lisbeth Salander in the Swedish adaptations of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo and the other two books. I love Noomi, and I love how pretty and girly she is in real life. I like her little black dress!

Making the most of their Sunday evening, Vanessa Hudgens and Josh Hutcherson were spotted at the Los Angeles Lakers basketball game last night (March 27).
The ?High School Musical? hottie and her hunky pal looked enthusiastic as they cheered the Lakers on to a 102-84 victory over the New Orleans Hornets.
Earlier in the day, Vanessa was seen making her arrival back home in Studio City after a trip to Las Vegas.
She was in Sin City to promote her new movie ?Sucker Punch,? which opened over the weekend in second place with $20 million in domestic sales.

The Disney Darling took the colorful event name seriously and got all dolled up in a blue getup, including a super hot one-shoulder bubble dress.

The ?Come On Over? songstress began her list with a pair of flair-legged jeans that are as practical as they are stylish.
Of the jeans she explained, ?These Vintage Flares are my favorite ?go to? jeans- they fit great. We do them every season.?
Simpson also talked up one of her purse designs. ?I wore this Tempest handbag in every color a few seasons back. the bright color is perfect for spring.?

This is actually the smartest move that the producers of the latest Superman reboot have made thus far. Previous casting choices include British hottie Henry Cavill as Superman, Diane Lane and Kevin Costner as his adoptive family, the Kents, and now we finally have a Lois Lane. Producers went for bouncy and sassy and mom-approved: Amy Adams. Crap, my mom is going to want to see this now! That?s the genius of it, you know? Moms love her. They will see her in anything. She?s adorable, and she?s like a real-life Disney princess (according to my mom). But now I?m concerned that they?ll make Amy dye her pretty red hair. Lois has always been a brunette, right?
This just in ? three-time Oscar nominee Amy Adams will play journalist Lois Lane in Hollywood?s revival of ?Superman.?
The 36-year-old star got the news on Sunday from director Zack Snyder, who phoned her from Paris, where he was promoting his just-opened film, ?Sucker Punch.? There had been a crush of Hollywood interest in the lead female role in the Warner Bros. project but Snyder said that after meeting with Adams, she was the clear choice to take on a character that dates back to 1938 and has long represented the strong, professional woman who can hold her own against any man ? even if he can leap tall buildings in a single bound.
?There was a big, giant search for Lois,? Snyder said. ?For us it was a big thing and obviously a really important role. We did a lot of auditioning but we had this meeting with Amy Adams and after that I just felt she was perfect for it.?
Snyder declined to discuss the precise prominence of Lois in the story or any plot details about the film but he said the role is ?a linchpin? to the project and that he considers it essential that Lois ? an FDR-era creation ? arrives on screen in 2012 with contemporary appeal and spirit.
?It goes back to what I?ve said about Superman and making him really understandable for today. What?s important to us is making him relevant and real and making him empathetic to today?s audience so that we understand the decisions he makes. That applies to Lois as well. She has to be in the same universe as him [in tone and substance].?
Adams has shown an affinity for finding the plucky but pitch-perfect center of old-school roles; in the cartoonish ?Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian? she brought a surprising amount of yearning emotion to the role of a simplified Amelia Earhart and she won rave reviews for the role of Giselle in ?Enchanted? and its sly send-up of Disney princess traditions that date back to ?Snow White,? which premiered just six months before Lois Lane hit newsstands in the pages of Action Comics No. 1.
Adams is coming off an Academy Award nomination for her work in ?The Fighter,? the David O. Russell film that took her into far darker territory; she played a bartender named Charlene who is fire-tested and fierce in her love for a down-but-not-out boxer portrayed by Mark Wahlberg. The film earned an Oscar win for Christian Bale, who played Wahlberg?s deliriously drugged-out brother, and he will be in the other big superhero film of 2012, ?The Dark Knight Rises,? which will see Bale back in the cowl of Batman.
The big breakthrough for Adams was ?Junebug,? which premiered at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival, where Adams won a special jury prize for her performance. The star?s other notable credits include ?Doubt,? Julie & Julia,? ?Sunshine Cleaning,? ?Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby? and ?Charlie Wilson?s War.? Later this year, she will be seen in both ?On the Road? (an adaptation of the famed Jack Kerouac novel) and in Disney?s new Muppets film.
I asked Snyder how it feels to be making a film where every casting choice is a global news flash. ?It?s an epic thing, no doubt. But this good news is the cast is shaping up to fit that.? In the still-untitled Superman film, Henry Cavill will play Clark Kent and the Man of Steel. Kevin Costner and Diane Lane are set to play the Kents, the adoptive parents of the last son of Krypton.

Yeah, Amy has been nominated for a bajillion Oscars (three, actually), and besides her side-gig as my mother?s ?Princess Cinderella,? Amy can actually act her ass off. So, even though they?re casting a famous ginger as a famous brunette, I still like the choice. It could have been much, much worse. It could have been Jessica Biel, who was rumored for the role. It could have been Rachel Bilson (hahaha). It could have Linnocent!
Also - about her age: she’s nearly a decade older than Cavill… but I doubt it will be an issue. Amy can play younger, because she looks so young. Didn’t you do a double-take when you read her age?

Fresh off of a fun-filled night in Sin CIty, Vanessa Hudgens was spotted making her grand arrival back home in Studio City, CA on Sunday afternoon (March 27).
Decked out in a grey and white tie-dye maxi dress and cute brown jacket, the 22-year-old actress toted her camel Chanel handbag as she and a gal pal hopped out of their stretch limousine transport to head into the west coast abode.
The arrival back in Studio City comes after Miss Hudgens spent the previous night holding court at a "Sucker Punch" party at Pure nightclub in Las Vegas - at which she was joined by her dedicated mother, Gina.
With good reason to celebrate, Vanessa's just-released fantasy flick did quite well for itself at the box office by landing in second place with earnings of approximately $20 million.

Looking simply smitten with her latest lover, Kim Kardashian held hands with boyfriend Kris Humphries as the two were spotted out in the Meatpacking District of New York City on Sunday afternoon (March 27).
The E! reality star and her New Jersey Nets basketballer beau happened to be eyeing a few additions to their wardrobes - as they made stops at Jefferies clothing store and the Alexander McQueen boutique along the way.
Tweeting about the outing, Miss Kardashian contently wrote, "Yummy lunch! Now off for a little Sunday shopping in the meat packing district! Fun chill day!"
Meanwhile, Kim's sister Khloe happened to chat about the topic of Kris Humphries during recent promotional duties for her new reality gig with Lakers hubby Lamar Odom, as she told People magazine, "I don't think Kris knows what he's getting into. He hasn't been around all of us yet. He hasn't been to my mom's house with the chaos, so the initiation process will happen this summer ? if he lasts. If he can get out of that alive, then he's good to stay."
And if Humphries is willing and able to make the cut, Kim's little sister dished, "Hopefully we'll all get to go on fun trips and hang out. That's something that we all look forward to. Kris was out here [for] All-Star weekend, and we hung out. Lamar got to know him and we had fun."
