The highly anticipated film "The Hunger Games" is approaching it's release date and star Elizabeth Banks is dishing about the filming of this sci-fi drama.
Spotted out shopping in Beverly Hills on Tuesday (February 21), the blonde beauty, who plays Effie Trinkett in the film, admits some moments on set were tougher than others.
During a particular scene, the 37-year-old actress revealed that some of the days during filming the temperature would reach a scorching 105 degrees.
In an interview with MTV News, Banks dished, ?We had all these young kids there dropping like flies. It was madness, and it?s also the only time we spend in District 12.?
So what scenes from the movie is "The 40 Year Old Virgin" starlet looking forward to the most? ?I have not seen much of the arena, so I?m excited to see the actual Games. It?s very emotional. We really become very attached to the characters, even Cato and Thresh, kind of the bad guys of the book. We really are attached to everybody?s journey, and so I?m really excited to see how that all plays out,? says Banks.
You can catch all of the gripping action when the film hits theaters March 23rd.

Etching her place in Tinseltown history, Jennifer Aniston was on-hand while being prsented with her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Wednesday (February 22).
The former "Friends" star took to The W Hollywood Hotel on Hollywood Boulevard locale while being honored with the 2,462nd star on the famous stretch of sidewalk.
Among those in attendance to pay tribute to Miss Aniston were comedian Adam Sandler and her ?Wanderlust? castmates Malin Akerman and Kathryn Hahn, as well as her dad, John Aniston, and co-star beau Justin Theroux.
The ceremony comes just two days ahead of the release of the 43-year-old's new film "Wanderlust," which is about "a Manhattan couple surveying alternative living options, ultimately deciding to experiment with living on a rural commune where free love rules."

Christina Hendricks told the Mirror that she had the worst high school experience ever and was constantly bullied for being a goth. She says she grew up feeling “ugly, awkward and horrible.” Yea, it’s going to be another one of those stories.
?My school days were pretty unhappy. I had the worst high school experience ever. I went to a very mean school and was bullied like crazy.
?I was a bit of a goth with purple hair and I was also part of the drama group, so my friends and I were all weird theatre people and everyone just hated us.
?There was a long corridor with lockers on either side and kids would sit on top of them and spit on you. It was like something out of Lord of the Flies.? The Mirror
Well, I’d hate to see how that hallway looked at the end of school every day. From that description, I imagine there were dried up loogies lining the floor. You have to wonder, who had it harder, her or the guy who had to clean that up every single evening.
A natural blonde, she began dying her hair red aged 10 ? to be like the heroine of children?s book Anne of Green Gables. Then in her early teens, the family moved to Fairfax, Virginia.
Christina says: ?The girls there had purses and I still had my backpack from Idaho.
?Moving as a teenager is never easy. So I tried to set myself apart and it ended up with multi-coloured hair. It was how I was expressing myself.
?I was a goth kid. I dyed my hair about 42 different colours, shaved it at the back and wore black make-up. Kids can be pretty judgmental about people who are different.
So instead of buying a purse, she bought 42 different colors of hair dye, shaved the back of her head and put on black make-up. Makes sense.
“But instead of breaking down and conforming, I stood firm. That is also probably why I was unhappy.
?My mother was mortified and kept telling me how horrible and ugly I looked. Strangers would walk by with a look of shock on their face, so I never felt pretty. I just always felt awkward.
?If I could go back and tell my 14-year-old self anything it would be, ?Don?t worry. You?re going to be doing exactly what you want to be doing and those people who are a***holes now are still going to be a***holes in 20 years. So let it go!??

Continuing to deal with her legal woes, Lindsay Lohan is set to appear before Judge Stephanie Sautner for a progress hearing today (February 22).
With the proceedings to get underway at 10 a.m. PT, the "Mean Girls" starlet already arrived at the Los Angeles courthouse alongside mother Dina while hoping for a glowing review.
Finally realizing what she needs to do in order to stay out of trouble, Miss Lohan reportedly is thankful of her strict judge - as she credits her for saving her career.
According to TMZ, the ?Labor Pains? actress wasn?t too keen on Judge Sautner at first, but eventually began to comprehend that without her regulated plan of action, she would?ve never gotten her act together.
Instead of requiring Lohan to perform hundreds of hours of community service within a year, Judge Sautner saw that Linds needed a more structured routine where she?d have to make a court appearance once a month and if her volunteer work was not completed at that time, she would immediately go to jail.

The grossest line of the interview? ?I?ve been lucky enough to see you t-pless in our private life, but now America, when they go to see the movie, will get to see her topless running!? Duchess Kate and Prince William got a puppy a few months ago. I don?t think I ever discussed it, because we didn?t have the photo set – you can see a months-old photo of William, Kate and the puppy here, talking a walk together in Wales. It took a while to even find out how this puppy came around – he?s a cocker spaniel, and sources claim that ?He belongs to a litter of cocker spaniels from one of Carole Middleton’s friends near home. William and Catherine fell in love with the pup instantly and it wasn’t long before they decided to keep him.? They ?fostered? the puppy for a short time to see if he fit in with their lives, and considering how little Kate does in general, I guess she had the time to spend with a gregarious little dog who happens to be adorably ALL PAWS.
Anyway, it wasn?t until yesterday that we actually found out with Will and Kate named the dog. Yes, for real, this is a gossip story. In lieu of royal babies, people will accept royal animal stories. While Kate was doing her appearance at The Art Room, she told students that she and Will named the puppy? LUPO!!! Probably after Jeremy Sisto?s character in the last seasons of Law & Order, correct? He played Det. Lupo, yes? Just name the puppy ?Sisto? and get it over with! Once again, a ?source? told the media, “There is no significance in it apart from they liked the name.” Here?s more:
Duchess Kate loves being Lupo’s mommy! During Kate Middleton’s Tuesday visit to two schools in Oxford — in her official role as patron to the Art Room charity — the royal couldn’t helping but gush about her newly adopted puppy, Lupo.
Visiting first with kids at Rose Hill Primary (located in one of the most deprived areas of England, with 48 percent of students speaking English as a second language, and with 50 percent special needs), Kate, 30, received doggy treats and a stuffed dog from students.
“I will call it after my dog,” Kate (wearing a brown Orla Kiely coat dress and brown ankle boots) said of the toy. “Lupo!”
Explains a source of Kate and Prince William’s chosen name (Italian for “wolf”) for their pet: “They picked it because they liked it. No other reason.”
Wearing “Duchess Catherine” apron in an art room class, Kate spoke about her husband’s current military stint in the Falkland Islands. “She was explaining how they have been speaking,” an observer says. “And William said he has seen penguins!”
Interacting with the kids in the art class, the royal was a natural, Art Room manager Lisa Hancock told Us. “She had all the right language and was very calm and gentle with the children? She is a young, independent, intelligent woman who really wants to make a difference. I have nothing but respect and admiration for her.”
After Rose Hill, Kate moved on to Oxford Spires Academy School, where was greeted by 1,000 students and lunched with Art Room staffers inside. “The children have been hugely excited and they all feel so proud she has visited this school,” headteacher Sue Croft said.
Added student Saif Omer, 11: “She asked me how old I was and which house I was in. She is a very nice woman. Seeing her here is like a dream come true.”

Is this a good PR strategy? I know, I know. I?m giving Kate a lot of credit for being a media specialist, but really, I think she?s very, very conscious of her image, and she and her team (and yes, she has a TEAM) are working very, very hard to project a certain image for her, and to convince people that Kate is: hard-working, diligent, intelligent, independent, and of course, a sad-sack victim (her husband missed Valentine?s Day!!), all with a common touch. Considering I feel she?s rather a lazy, clingy, staff-dependent piece of dry toast, all covered in gigantic buttons and slathered in eye makeup, it?s debatable whether Kate?s team is any good. So how does a dog help? In lieu of a royal baby? It helps – it humanizes her. She looks caring and mothering. People love their animals, maybe even more so in the UK. She?s placating a certain demographic who are hungry for royal babies, because they?re going to have another year to wait. Lupo fulfills many PR needs, doesn?t he? Plus, he?s just cute.

Anyway, Kate has a new interview with Access Hollywood, and she comes across as so? sweet. Not sickly-sweet or fake, just kind of nave and good-hearted and very, very young. She answers the criticism that she?s too downmarket, and she also talks about body image and how her friends never ?staged an intervention? about her eating habits:
I love Kate?s response of “Gisele’s a football player’s wife. Gisele’s in that category so I’m good.” As for the Victoria?s Secret runway organizer?s comments, Kate says, ?I?m doing fine in my career, I don’t need to walk down their runway so it’s all good. She can think that and I can think whatever I want about her.” And seriously – last year, when she gained some weight, even some of the boy bloggers were criticizing her, so I?m glad she talked about loving her curves too – ?I love my curves, I?m healthy.? She?s just a sweet (kind of dumb) kid. Leave her alone!

Amanda Seyfried gets yet another stab at trying to make this whole ?lead actress? thing happen in her latest film, Gone. What?s sketchy to me that Amanda is in one of the best positions in Hollywood to actually have a major break out – this girl gets so much work, and she even has some hit films under her belt. She has the career that Blake Lively, Megan Fox and Jessica Biel wish they had, you know? I tend to think that Amanda would actually be a more established ?celebrity? actress if she was just a tad more interesting. Instead, her interviews are usually as interesting as watching paint dry. Same with her style – I can?t recall Amanda ever wearing anything that made me sit up and take notice. For last night?s premiere of Gone, Amanda wore this completely boring Nina Ricci which manages to do nothing for her figure and it washes her out completely, and yet? it?s not even interesting enough to be considered ?hideous.?
I also think Amanda has great hair, but I don?t get this style at all. And she looked so pissed off in so many photos. Does she think her film is going to bomb? It might. The trailer looks awful.
Just so we don?t have to only discuss Amanda, here?s a photo of Wes Bentley, who costars with Amanda. His eyes are so? intense.
And I had never heard of this actor, Sam Upton, but I became enchanted with him in these photos. His brows are kind of crazy, but that face is? mmm?my type.

Yesterday, TMZ had a weird photo of Drew Barrymore and her fianc, Will Kopelman, leaving a doctor?s office in Beverly Hills – go here to see the photo. TMZ claims Drew is carrying ?what appears to be sonogram results??? All I can really make out is the lollipop. That?s a lollipop, right? Not a fetus? But this photo has spurred some rumors about Drew?s engagement to ?art consultant? (eye roll) Will. Shotgun marriage?
Could Drew Barrymore be planning more than just her wedding this year?
After the recently engaged actress was spotted leaving a doctor’s office with a sonogram in-hand over the weekend, seen in a photo posted on TMZ.com, some are wondering whether Barrymore, 36, is expecting her first baby with fianc Will Kopelman.
The couple would like to become parents, a source close to them told PEOPLE last month. “Drew is so motherly,” the source said at the time. “Will would like to be a dad. Family is so important to him.”
When asked by PEOPLE if Barrymore was expecting, her rep had no comment.
Although there could be another explanation for the sonogram, starting a family has long been on Barrymore’s mind. “I definitely feel the beginnings of a tick-tock,” she told PEOPLE in 2006. “Whether I have children or adopt, whatever form a family comes in, I would absolutely love to have it.”
In recent weeks, the actress has stepped out for public appearances in notably loose-fitting clothing, though her characteristic style has always been on the bohemian side. At a Feb. 18 party celebrating Marni’s new line for H&M, the actress was asked if she had selected a wedding dress yet. Laughing, she told reporters, “Oh, gosh, I don’t know! I’ve been trying to figure it out! All I know is that I want something tasteful, something timeless.”
Barrymore first stepped out with Kopelman, an art consultant, last February.

I never really thought of Drew as the kind of girl who needed a ring as soon as she got knocked up, though. You know? That move is for the Natalie Portmans of the world – not for hippie-dippy Drew. But I guess Drew is trying to be more ?legit? these days. She?s a lady now! She even released an official ?engagement portrait? – like she?s Duchess Kate or something.

Here are some of the fashion photos from last night?s BRIT Awards in London. They?re sort of like the Grammys and the American Music Awards, I?m guessing. They give out awards to musical acts and there are lots of performances too. I already covered Adele?s multiple victories earlier. Rihanna also took home an award for International Solo Artist of the year. Rihanna wore this Givenchy gown which? is unexpected? I?m not used to seeing Rihanna in formal eveningwear, so it takes a moment to adjust. I?m not crazy about the gown on Rihanna – it seems like the dress is wearing her, and the gown is too ?old? for her. I do love the leather gloves, though. Those are gorge.
Here?s Florence Welch in Alexander McQueen. Ugh. I love Flo, totally and completely, but I feel like people are trying to make her ?happen? as a Fashion Girl, and I almost always think she looks like hell. Bad hair, bad makeup, and the dress does nothing for her. It looks like a tattered doily.
Lana Del Rey won the Breakthrough Award. She wore this pretty Vivienne Westwood gown which feels really plain on her, right?
Call me cray-cray, but I love this pale yellow Versace on Nicole Scherzinger. The fit is weird at the bust and the waist, there?s something ?home sewn? about those beads, and yet? it all kind of works. She looks really good here.
I really like Jessie J?s voice. I feel like she?s trying to follow The Gaga Path – have a great voice, since dance tracks that the gays will love, wear shocking things, try to be provocative, and see where it goes from there. She would be more interesting if she wasn?t trying to be so ?provocative? though. Her dress is Falguni & Shane Peacock – meh.

After bravely revealing that she suffered a miscarriage, Bethenny Frankel has also opened up about a serious health issue she recently endured.
Chatting with Bravo host Andy Cohen, the ?Bethenny Ever After? star told, "As a result of that experience [miscarriage], I was on an antibiotic Doxycycline. I took it at night without any water, went to bed and it burned a hole in my esophagus."
"I have a hole in my heart and my esophagus. But it's okay -- I'm feeling good. I wouldn't be drinking a Skinnygirl Margarita if I weren't feeling good," she added, referring to her signature cocktail.
In another interview on the ?Today? show this week, Frankel confessed she has been trying to make sense of it all. "There are so many...things that come with [miscarrying. You go through a roller coaster of emotions...About your age, about being a woman, about, can you have another baby, are you a failure to your partner? You go through a million different things."

It was really weird that Lindsay Lohan didn’t get thatLovelacerole about a girl who gags on dick for a living because it seemed to be a role she’d been researching her whole life. Surprisingly, Lindsay snagged the role of Elizabeth Taylor in a Lifetime Original Movie instead. But not to worry. The film will be called Liz and Dickso there will still be penis jokes.
Lindsay, who hasn’t appeared in a film since 2010, will play Taylor, “whose stormy relationship with Richard Burton led them to marry and divorce each other twice.” Basically, everything you expect from a Lifetime movie.
According to GossipCop, Lifetime demanded Lindsay fulfill all her probation requirements before production begins in March. Which is another hurdle because Lindsay is a screw-up.
Though TMZ says Lindsay is taking this role seriously. Lindsay is living and breathing Elizabeth Taylor by watching all her old film, watching interviews online and reading a bunch of her biographies all to recreate her posture, speech and otheridiosyncrasies.
$10 bucks says when they start filming, Lindsay, with all that research, will end up breaking out an English accent and go, “Hallo, guvna,” every 10 minutes.

Hosted by James Corden, the 2012 BRIT Awards also paid homage to Whitney Houston and Amy Winehouse. "Whitney and Amy are two of the biggest female stars in the history of music. Both have made their mark onstage at the Brits in the past. Something would feel missing if both their legacies weren't remembered at the show,? said a source.
