Gearing up for one of the biggest night's in television, Jimmy Fallon helped roll out the red carpet at the 62nd Primetime Emmy's Press Preview Day in Los Angeles, California on Wednesday (August 25).
Held at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live, the 2010 Emmy Awards host was joined at the morning festivities by Television Academy President John Shaffner and Emmy Executive Producer Don Mischer.
Recently giving an update on his hosting preparation, Fallon told press at the "Going the Distance" premiere, "We're getting the final touches on the opening thing that we're doing. It's really fun. I?m at the Nokia Theater all day long now, from now until the Emmys. Just getting ready. It?s a long process, a lot of rehearsals, stuff like that."
Meanwhile, Jimmy also explained why his show band, The Roots,, did'nt mak the trip to LA, as he said, "There's no Roots, sadly. The Roots didn't come with me from New York. Kind of miss them. Britney Spears and Jason Trawick are in Hawaii right now (and you?re not). I?m going to take off my Hater Hat and say that this is the best Britney has looked in a while. Hawaii agrees with her. She looks good in her bikini - she?s a mother of two, people! And her hair looks okay. Not great, but the weave got some sun and sand and the weave did not revolt, so all is well.
But here?s the question: what do you think of her boyfriend Jason Trawick?s body? I don?t know what I was expecting. I think I?ve actually seen Jason shirtless before, but still, it feels weird to think that a decent-looking guy with a decent body would end up (contractually obligated) with Britney Spears. Whenever I see photos of them, I always end up feeling sorry for both of them. There have been is-she or isn’t-she rumors swirling for the last two years, but fairly reputable news sources are reporting today that Mariah Carey is four months pregnant. Radar Online says:
The Hero singer and husband Nick Cannon are overjoyed but have decided not to talk about the pregnancy publicly.
Despite his public hesitation to confirm the news, RadarOnline.com?s insider says, ?Nick has been telling friends how excited he is to be a dad. Mariah has tried so hard to get pregnant.”
The source adds that Mariah has passed the four month mark in her pregnancy.
They’re saying she’s only four months along? That can’t be right. From the looks of it, Mariah Carey’s been pregnant since May of 2009. Unless she’s giving birth to a walrus or a sperm whale, she’s about fourteen months past due. I hope she likes her babies with facial hair and all their adult teeth.

Just 23 days into her court-ordered 90-day treatment program, Lindsay Lohan has been released from her court-ordered rehabilitation at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. Radar Online says:
In a sudden and surprising decision, Lindsay [was] released from her court-ordered drug and alcohol rehabilitation at UCLA Medical Center early. Lindsay Lohan signed her rehab discharge papers on Tuesday.
Lohan had a court hearing scheduled for Wednesday but a plan was secretly formulated to release her Tuesday and avoid a media frenzy. Everything [was] set for her release, including a three-car decoy to get her out of UCLA and away from the media.
Lindsay will continue outpatient treatment at UCLA two to three times per week.
Well, it’s a good thing that Lindsay is gonna score a million bucks for that first post-jail interview, because her rehab was costing her close to forty grand a week. TMZ says:
Lindsay Lohan’s UCLA medical bill was a whopping $40,000 a week… [and] Lindsay’s insurance does not cover treatment at the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Hospital.
Judge Marsha Revel ordered 13 weeks of treatment, which would have brought the bill to $520,000. According to the docs, Judge Revel overreacted and Lindsay was released after only 23 days — almost 3 1/2 weeks. That reduces the cost to a very reasonable $130,400.
Half a million dollars for three months’ worth of inpatient therapy? God, that’s such a load of crap. I’ll personally swing by your house, slap you across the face and scream, “Get your shit together, you stupid fucking bitch!” once a day, and I’ll only charge you ten bucks for my services. I bet you’ll get a hell of lot more out of it, too.

Mariah and Nick still aren?t confirming anything - so Radar just stepped up to ?confirm? it again, this time giving a hard number: she?s allegedly four months pregnant. Sure. I?ll buy that.
Mariah Carey is four months pregnant, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively. The Hero singer and husband Nick Cannon are overjoyed but have decided not to talk about the pregnancy publicly.
Privately, however, it’s a different story, according to one source who tells RadarOnline.com that Nick is sharing the great news with close friends only. On Monday, Nick again dodged the pregnancy question.
“I’ve said it before and I’ll say it time and time again — when my wife feels like talking about whatever she wants to talk about, you will hear it directly from her,” he said on his radio show on New York’s 92.3 FM.
Despite his public hesitation to confirm the news, RadarOnline.com?s insider says, ?Nick has been telling friends how excited he is to be a dad.?
?Mariah has tried so hard to get pregnant,” a source told RadarOnline.com, adding that the singer has no plans to announce her pregnancy in the near future. The source adds that Mariah has passed the four month mark in her pregnancy.
Mariah performed in Brazil last weekend, and her appearance had many speculating that she is pregnant. After her show she Tweeted: “Seriously, I really do love it here, beautiful people inside and out! Tonite was tuff 4 me 4 personal reasons,but U got me thru!L4L.”
?She definitely wanted to get pregnant,? the source added. ?She?s very excited. She wants to wait as close to full term as possible before going public with the news to her fans.?

I?ve said it before - I think Mariah is actually knocked up, and I think she probably had to go through months of fertility treatments. I think that?s why she gained weight, and I think that?s why she and Nick are playing coy with the confirmation - I think they just want to wait a big longer to confirm it. Talking about the campaign, which will be debuting in October fashion magazines and on the web, Christina said, ?London Fog is a classic brand, which I love. It also ties into ?Mad Men? ? we used London Fog in the show and this was a nice way to tie everything together. The trench is such an iconic shape for men and women. Making her promotional rounds, Katy Perry was spotted out and about in New York City on Tuesday afternoon (August 24) .
After running errands in a black and white dress with Pink cardigan earlier in the day, the "Hot n Cold" singer later stepped out clad in a tight, sexy red number with heels as she visited the Ed Sullivan Theatre for a "Late Show with David Letterman" appearance.
Boosting interest in her new album Teenage Dream, Miss Perry recently explained a little bit about what?s behind her creative songs, telling MTV News, "There's a lot of puns. You know, when I learned how to write a song, the person that was kind of teaching me was an amazing songwriter, and he was like, 'Don't forget about the double entendres. Don't forget about the puns.?
Katy continued, ?Don't forget that one word can have two meanings.' So I'm always kind of looking for that one thing that's really normal that you can make twisted."

Back out for another evening of promotional work, Drew Barrymore was all smiles as she arrived at the Ed Sullivan Theatre in New York City on Tuesday (August 24).
There for an appearance on the "Late Show with David Letterman", the "ET" actress is in the midst of building hype for her upcoming film "Going the Distance" - which hits theaters on September 3rd.
Having attended the Nanette Burstein directed film's premiere in Los Angeles the previous evening, Drew opened up to the Evening Standard about an awful interview taking place at the red carpet event.
She tells, "You should have heard this b**ch I had to do an interview with before you. God, I wanted to punch her, she would just not drop the youth thing. I have no problem talking about it. I am not someone who is ashamed of my past. I?m actually really proud. I know I made a lot of mistakes, but they in turn were my life lessons."
Miss Barrymore continued to vent, ?It?s actually good to get it done young and have a great life later. But yeah, man, I wanted to rip this woman?s face off. She just would not shut up about it.?
