In public, they put on quite a show to look like the perfect family, but sources say that behind closed doors, the Cyrus family is just as dysfunctional as everyone else. The root of the problem is 16-year-old Miley and her 20-year-old boyfriend, Justin Gaston, who is now living with the family. Apparently, dad Billy Ray and mom Tish thought that having the pair under their roof together would be a good way to monitor their underage daughter and make sure things don’t get too physical. But the plan backfired, according to reports. While Billy Ray appears in public to be crazy about Miley’s man, behind the scenes, the stage dad is fuming.
Ever since her 20-year-old boyfriend, Justin Gaston, moved into the family home in Toluca Lake, Calif., Miley’s been battling with her parents, dad Billy Ray and mom Tish have been quarreling, and even her little brother and sister have been ganging up on her, sources tell Star.
“Miley’s mom and dad bicker non-stop,” a friend of the family reveals. “They thought having Justin in the house would make it easier to keep an eye on him and Miley, but they’re having a hard time because Justin has no boundaries.”
The friend says that Justin - a former underwear model and wannabe singer who insists that he and Miley do not sleep together - walks around the house in nothing but his briefs, angering Billy Ray. And he has a ferocious appetite, so he repeatedly raids the family refrigerator! “Justin recently devoured an entire apple pie that Billy Ray was looking forward to eating when he got home,” says the friend. “Unfortunately, all he found when he got home was the empty tin.”
That’s not the only battle being wages in the Cyrus household. “Billy Ray and Tish are having a tough time managing all the drama that comes with having a teenage superstar for a daughter,” says the friend. “They don’t only fight about Justin. They fight about Miley’s money, Miley’s career and Miley’s increasingly rebellious behavior.”

All together now: Boo hoo! Only an idiot would think that allowing your teen daughter’s 20-year-old boyfriend to move in is a good idea. As for the claim that they aren’t sleeping together - it’s not the sleeping that they should be worried about. Clearly, Miley is unsupervised often enough to take inappropriate photos of herself and post them online. What else is she capable of doing, especially with a 20-year-old who likes to parade himself around in underwear? Now these moron parents have the nerve to be surprised that it’s not working out? What did they think was going to happen? As for fighting over their daughter’s money and career - let’s not forget who pushed little Miley into the spotlight in the first place. These two stage parents pulled out all the stops to get their kid famous, and now that she is, they’d better learn how to deal with it fast or she’s going to end up as yet another child star cautionary tale. If they can’t handle the pressure now, just wait until Miley pulls that old child star stunt and has herself legally emancipated. You all know it’s coming! I think we all know how this story will end - Hollywood roadkill, folks. This is just chapter one.

Denise Richards, the woman who has gone to court in order to use her kids to gain more fame for herself, claims that her daughters are the reason she was able to persevere beyond all the terrible public humiliation Charlie Sheen put her through. She?s still really trying to work the ?I?m a great mom? angle that no one?s ever bought. I?m sorry but if you?re a great mom, your kids don?t look utterly miserable in every photo ever taken of them.
Denise chatted up Ellen DeGeneres today about important things like dating with kids and how she endured through all those terrible things Charlie Sheen did to her. Because, you know, Denise never did anything horrible to him, like falsely accusing him of molesting their daughters to get ratings for her crappy reality show.
Trying to find Mr. Right these days isn’t easy, says Denise Richards. Asked on Wednesday’s Ellen DeGeneres Show if she is dating, Charlie Sheen’s ex says, “dating-ish. It’s hard.” DeGeneres then asks if “dating-ish” is one guy or a bunch of guys. “Just -ish,” says Richards, 38, who will star on the upcoming season of ABC’s Dancing With the Stars. “We’ll leave it at that.”
As a single mom (Sam is 4; Lola is 3), “I don’t want to bring someone around my children who have been through enough? If you’re out in public with someone, then [people] automatically think you’re with them, so….” she continues. How does she ever get a chance to meet somebody? “I haven’t quite figured that out,” she says. “That’s the -ish part.” She then adds, “Let’s say I?m not engaged to anyone.”
Asked how she got through her rocky split with Sheen and the death of her mother, Richards says, “it was probably the worst few years of my life? A lot of public scrutiny and humiliation,” she says. “Before my Mom passed away, during the public humiliation of different things I was dealing with, my mom would always say, ‘You’re a lot stronger than you think. You?ll get through it.’”
“Then, you know, she passed away, so I had to deal with that, which was really difficult,” she continues. “But I think it’s, you know, my kids. I could’ve gone one way or the other, and I have two little girls, so I needed to be a parent…. There is a lot of stuff obviously they don’t know, but I had to move forward.”

I?ll grant that her mother dying must have been awful, but that?s the most I can do. All the stuff with Charlie Sheen ? the ?public humiliation? ? I?m sure she did feel embarrassed, but she brought a lot of it on herself. And Denise has never taken any ownership for that. In the beginning of their battles, it was hard to tell who the crazy one really was, because both Charlie and Denise were jealous and vindictive and not afraid to act out in public. But eventually Charlie settled down a bit whereas Denise has just kept up the crazy.
I still feel most sorry for her kids. Luckily, Charlie eventually got E! to stop showing the girls on Denise?s reality show. But they still have two of the angriest parents around, who don?t mind using the media to slam each other. Maybe Denise should focus a little more on actually being a good mother and a little less on talking about it.

George Clooney is the father of twins - for one night only. Then he goes back to being the famous, worry-free, child-free ladies? man we all know and love.
Clooney has already filmed his ER scenes for the one episode he?s starring in during the final season of the long-running series. The story is that Dr. Ross and Nurse Hathaway have twins together - twin girls. I wonder if that was Clooney?s idea? I doubt it. He probably suggested that the character of Dr. Ross be some sort of freewheeling womanizer with a villa in Italy. Acting! Contact Music has more:
SPOILER ALERT: George Clooney?s E.R. character Dr. Doug Ross will return to the show as the father of twin girls.
The movie star and his TV partner Julianna Margulies will feature in E.R.’s finale, which will air in America on 2 April (09). And the pair will be married with twins.
Margulies, who will return as Nurse Carol Hathaway, tells America’s TV Guide magazine she never thought she’d be back on the show which made her a star.
She explains, “I said from the beginning I would come back if George came back. But I was pretty sure George wasn?t going to come back.
“It felt as though a lifetime had happened since then… (but) nothing had happened since then… Half the crew is still there, God bless them. We were all family. It was like coming home.”
But she and Clooney insisted their return to the medical drama be kept under wraps - because neither wanted to be part of a big publicity campaign.
Margulies adds, “We wanted it quiet because neither George nor I wanted to sit on talk shows getting people to watch the final episode of E.R… It?s the last thing George needs. Of course the day we get there, I could see a long lens outside the Warner Bros. gate, taking pictures of us walking to the set. Nothing?s sacred anymore.”
But she’s glad she made the decision to return: “I worked with George for two days and we had an amazing time.”

Cute, right? Julianna sounds excited - I wonder if she ever regrets leaving the show. I stopped watching ER after Clooney left. My affection for Noah Wyle just couldn?t sustain me. So I really have no idea what is happening on that show, but it seems like, just judging from the commercials I see, that everything has happened to that poor hospital. They?ve had bio-medical hazards, contagions, fires, murderers, it?s probably even been bombed at some point. Let?s keep our fingers crossed they don?t give Dr. Ross the plague or something. Perhaps they?ll give him some rare ?Italian? disorder, contracted from a mysterious villa. Cue dramatic music.
Speaking of villas, CB sent me something from Hello! magazine about how Clooney and David Beckham are friends because Clooney is lending his Lake Como villa to David, Posh and the boys. It sounds really nice of him, but there?s always a possibility that Clooney is renting his home out for a price. Clooney has said he only really goes to Lake Como during the summer months, and maybe during Christmas. That?s a long time for a great house to be sitting unoccupied, and it would make sense for Clooney to rent it out to paying customers/friends. Doesn?t mean that Clooney and Beckham are best friends, although I would love to know what Clooney thinks of Posh. She might be just his type!

Star Magazine tries to best every celebrity mag this week by claiming Rihanna was pregnant when Chris Brown beat her. Their only proof is that Rihanna went to an ob-gyn at Cedars-Sinai after claiming to tell friends she thought she might be pregnant with Brown’s baby.
Wearing sunglasses and dressed in all black, she appeared nervous and upset. “She was extremely fidgety. She seemed totally uncomfortable,” an eyewitness at the doctor’s office tells Star.
With their relationship already on rocky ground, Rihanna feared a pregnancy could be the last straw and Chris might dump her.
“She was scared he would react badly,” says an insider.
But Rihanna did not get the chance to tell her boyfriend of a year about her trip to the doctor. Before she got a chance to say anything, Chris beat her black and blue after she tried to grab his cellphone to read a text message he had just received.
Last time I went to an ob-gyn, I got kicked out. Apparently, those stirrups aren’t the same ones that go on a horse. Suffice to say, my Lone Ranger impression didn’t go over so well.

It was a shock to everyone when Kate Walsh and Alex Young announced that they were splitting up after 15 months of marriage. But the “Private Practice” hottie says it hasn’t put a damper on her spirit to dust herself off and move on.

Upon being booked, Ghalib was charged with a felony as a result on an incident in which he ran over a court officer who was trying to serve a restraining order via Miss Spears.

Lindsay Lohan was talking the other day about how she?s lost all that weight because she?s been under a lot of stress. And then when she was asked about what?s so stressful in her life, she said she?s been going to a lot of meetings for possible movie parts. We all laughed and rolled our eyes, but it turns out Lindsay may not have been bluffing ? at least about the possible jobs.
Warren Beatty is considering putting her in one of his films ? but there?s a major caveat. She has to agree to live in his home or guest house during filming so he can keep an eye on her.
What does Warren Beatty have in mind for Lindsay Lohan? He has something, because Beatty is apparently dangling a new movie role in front of the irrepressible Lindsay. But it has some strings attached to it. What I?m told is that Warren, the smartest guy in Hollywood, bar none, wants Ms. Lohan to come live under his roof ? at least one of his guest roofs ? while he shoots this movie.
And wait, you?re wondering, what movie is this? Beatty is said to have a script he wants to direct and star in, with La Lohan possibly playing his daughter. (If it?s his love interest, well, I?m not going there and I?m sure Warren isn?t either.)
Lindsay is said to know this is a chance of a lifetime and a way to re-start her languishing career. Recent efforts, like that horrid John Lennon murder movie Chapter 27, haven?t left her in the greatest shape. On the plus side, she?s clean, sober, happy and looking great.
But Lohan is a gifted actress with a lot of baggage and reputation for not making it to the set always on time and in one piece. So Beatty?s proviso sounds like a smart idea. And how bad it can be [sic] to live up on Mulholland Drive under the aegis of Annette Bening? I can hear a lot of young actresses heading to the phone now to try and get that gig.

Obviously, the article was wrong on the whole, ?she?s clean, sober, happy and looking great? bit. I guess we can?t know for sure about the clean/sober/happy part, but in terms of looking great, most people don?t think unhealthy weight loss and looking scary skinny is ?great.?
Considering Lindsay doesn?t own a home and hops from rental to rental, living with Warren Beatty might even be a good financial move. I could see how it would be a little embarrassing to acquiesce to this demand when you’re a legal adult, but getting a decent role is essential for Lohan right now. As Fox pointed out, it?s been a long time since she?s been in anything good, and it?s long been rumored that she has money problems. She certainly has a shopping problem. And frankly, it would be good for Lohan to have some sort of parental figure looking out for her, even if it is a little late in life. Being in a Warren Beatty film can only be good for her, and it sounds like a fair enough deal to me.

Anna Paquin has been turning in solid work ever since her Oscar-winning performance as a child in The Piano. She?s worked steadily, most notably as Rogue in the X-Men movies and a small but interesting part in the often overlooked Spike Lee film The 25th Hour. It was no surprise to me that Paquin would end up doing a television show. There?s no shame in it, after all. Lots of Oscar-winners are finding juicy work in television, like Marcia Gay Harden and William Hurt on FX?s “Damages”, or Paquin?s Piano co-star Holly Hunter on TNT?s “Saving Grace”.
Paquin?s turn to television is HBO?s “True Blood”. It?s a strange but effective time for a television show about vampires, considering the craze for all things blood-sucker in books and movies. I haven?t seen the show, but I?ve seen a couple of interviews with the show?s British star (and head vampire) Stephen Moyer. What is it with Brits playing vampires these days?
Anyway, Moyer is really cute. He looks like the kind of guy I would have gone for in college (slender, good jawline, intense eyes), but he?s 37 years old! I would have pegged him at mid-twenties. Good bones, I guess. It looks like he?s Anna Paquin?s type too - the two are now dating, as Moyer confirmed to TV Guide magazine.
For any True Blood fan, the relationship between the show’s lead characters, Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) and Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) is about as hot as it gets–even by HBO standards!
Now, it looks like the actors have taken that chemistry from the scripted page to real life!
“We are together,” Moyer confirmed to TV Guide Magazine. “It?s just exciting and that was there from day one. “We always take the piss out of each other and are silly with each other and it is great. We?re very, very happy. She?s the best.”
On the show, the tall dark and British Moyer, 37, plays a century-year-old vampire who has come back to live in a small Lousiana town and falls in love with the mortal and virginal Sookie (Paquin), a small town waitress with an ability to read people’s minds.
In real-life, Moyer and Paquin, 26, are living together here in the states, however Moyer splits his time between L.A. and London, where he has two young children from a previous relationship.
The couple’s real-life romance first sparked at the True Blood audition, but the pair decided to wait to go public. “The reason it was dodged last year was very intentional on both our parts,” Moyer says. “It was very important to me that the cast and crew we were working with didn’t feel it was fickle, and didn’t feel it could possibly potentially encroach on our lives, you know, just like, ‘Oh the two stars are having a thing.’ We didn’t want to take anything away from the show. The show is the star, not the two people having a relationship.”

He?s sounds like a nice guy, but maybe a little… famewhoring? This is one of those rare times where the guy is gushing to the press about his relationship, and it makes me a little uncomfortable. But it seems like they make each other happy, so God bless. I wonder if he bites her in bed.

Anthony Hopkins would like to play American Idol?s Simon Cowell. Seriously? That?s what Sir Anthony told MTV on the Oscar red carpet. Apparently, Cowell is Sir Anthony?s favorite judge on American Idol. He watches American Idol? I guess so. Maybe I should start watching, huh? If it?s good enough for a knight, it might be good enough for me.
Even though this information seems shockingly random, on second look, it would be amazing casting. Hopkins would bring a gravitas that Simon lacks, but you know Sir Anthony would chew up the scenery too. He would be a hoot! Radar Online has more:
Anthony Hopkins could very well play American Idol judge in a movie. MTV reports that Hopkins is such a huge fan of the singing competition, and Simon Cowell in particular, that he’d like to star in a movie about him.
“Simon is my favorite because he’s so brutally honest,” Hopkins told MTV on this year’s Oscars’ red carpet. “There’s no political correctness with him. He says it how it is. How very contrary.”
Now Cowell’s rep, Max Clifford, has told the Western Mail: “Knowing what an incredible actor Tony Hopkins is, I’m sure he’d do a great job, particularly in bringing out the much softer side to Simon that many of us don’t get to see.”
There has been no comment from RadarOnline.com’s request for comment and reaction from either Cowell’s rep or American Idol producers.

Of course, someone would have to want to make a movie about American Idol or Simon Cowell for Sir Anthony to play him. And will that happen? Probably not.
Just a sidenote: I totally didn?t want to say it during the Oscar coverage, but I?m worried about Anthony Hopkins. He?s lost a lot of weight, and he looked very drawn and tired during the Best Actor Oscar presentation. I?m not trying to start a rumor, because I adore the man and truly hope he?s doing well, but I?m worried. Our prayers are with you, Sir Anthony!

John Mayer felt the need to call Ryan Seacrest up this morning to chat about his time at the Oscars with girlfriend Jennifer Aniston. Mayer said he was just there to support Jen, though he said it in the most roundabout, confusing, Mayer-esq way possible.
John Mayer admits he was “very, very nervous” to attend the Academy Awards with girlfriend Jennifer Aniston on Sunday. “It’s not my world, the Oscar thing,” he said on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM radio show Wednesday while promoting his cruise line, the Mayercraft Carrier 2. “You can go from a Grammy winner to a water boy when you walk in the Kodak Theatre on Oscar night,” he added. “That’s just like a whole different level.”
He said he went as “moral support” for Aniston, who presented an award in front of ex Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Although he went there to support Aniston, Mayer said his role soon turned into: “‘Will you please introduce me to so-and-so?’” Added the singer, “It was really, really fun.”
“So the idea of walking down a red carpet is such … you know that forever, I basically stepped into the picture frame of Hollywood,” Mayer continued. “For one night, I put on the most amazing suit and entered into the picture frame.”
“You have to really be with someone that you know who has your back in that situation, and she did, and it was really great,” said Mayer. Asked why he and Aniston decided to make the Oscars their first major public event together, he said, “At some point, you feel comfortable and say this is the choice I want to make.”
“I think a year is a pretty good period of time with which to say, ‘Let’s go have a really good time at the Oscars!’”

Yes I think the year point is when most couples traditionally go to the Oscars together. I know I have in all of my relationships. John and Jennifer were plagued by breakup rumors in January, but obviously they weren?t true. As John pointed out, they?ve been together for the better part of a year, and that?s a long time for him. He’s not my favorite person in the world and I didn’t think it would last, but if they’re both happy then I’m glad for them.
They both told Gayle King that they?re very happy, and they certainly seem to be. John talked about walking the read carpet together, and it sounded like he was going to say something about it being serious, but Gayle cut him off and finished his thought for him, noting “it’s a big deal.” But it seemed like that’s where he was going with it. Both Jen and John looked great together on the red carpet, and it?s nice to see that they?re starting to feel more comfortable taking their relationship public.

Since headwear is all the rage for spring, I’m just going to go ahead and say that I would totally wear Eva Longoria’s ass like a hat. And not one of those fancy Sunday school hats that sit way back on the top of your head, either. An Uncle Buck style one where the cheeks come down and make little flaps over your ears. And then I’d tie her legs underneath my chin like a Little House on the Prairie-style bonnet and wear her with a pair of peep-toe patent leather pumps and a pencil skirt. My sketches are still in the preliminary stages, but I’m sure I’ll be hearing back from her camp any day now.

In the new issue of Seventeen magazine, Lauren Conrad talks about boys, what she’s learned about relationships, and breaks the news that her “reality” show The Hills will be ending with its next season. She and the rest of The Hills gang have recently been seen filming scenes for season 5 in Hawaii as Heidi and Spencer plan their (actual) wedding. My big question is, how is she still relevant?
?I think there was a time when I let a guy, if not several guys, walk all over me ? which I would never let happen now,? she tells Seventeen magazine for its April issue. ?I?ve grown to realize you can?t allow yourself to be a victim.?
Unlike her past romances with Brody Jenner and Jason Wahler, Conrad has kept her current relationship with actor Kyle Howard away from the cameras. MTV star is a label she won?t have for much longer: Conrad tells Seventeen the show?s upcoming fifth season (season 4 bonus episodes will premiere in March) will be her last.

Considering that most of the show, as well as its precursor Laguna Beach, consisted of blank stares, makeup artists off-screen, and a lot of self-pitying, I’m surprised that Lauren thinks she learned anything at all. Still, the fact that her new real-life boyfriend isn’t in the show might be a step in the right direction.
Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag must be pissed that Lauren pulled the plug. Those two are happy wherever there are cameras. There were talks for some time of giving them their own TV show, but as their star is slowly fading, it probably doesn’t seem profitable to the suits at MTV. You can bet, though, that there will be some sort of special on their wedding - look forward to lots of nuptuial drama.

Talk about a dramatic entry. Before boarding a flight to New York last Tuesday, Solange Knowles passed out on the floor of the Los Angeles International Airport after taking too much flu medication. RadarOnline.com brings you the gripping photo from the scene.
“Never taking Nyquil again. I feel so weird.” Knowles wrote on her Twitter page shortly before the incident. It’s as if she knew what was around the corner!
Hours later, she added: “Woaah…How’d I end up in the hospital” and “Woke up to 8 random people over me, laid out on the floor in baggage claim!”
Suffering from dehydration, Knowles was hooked up to an IV. Shortly after her mother arrived at the hospital, she was released to go home to fully recover.

Alright, dehydration is no joke. But blaming the whole thing on both Nyquil and dehydration is funny. It sound like a cover, right? Yeah, I take ?Nyquil? when I fly too. Only it comes in pills that have the effect of horse tranquilizers. Seriously, I?ve overdosed on Nyquil before (the real stuff), and all that happened to me was I spent like two hours staring at a chair that was moving all by itself. Nyquil?s so much fun.
Can you imagine if workaholic Beyonce was on ?Nyquil?? Her body would try to pass out, but if she fell, she would bounce right back up, and go back to being Sasha Fierce.

When the gorgeous star leaves the show in a very special April episode, her character - devious real estate agent Edie Britt - will survive a harrowing car crash only to get zapped from a death-dealing surge from a live wire moments later, divulge sources.
"It will be one of the most bizarre character deaths in TV history," revealed a show insider.
Ironically, the demanding 45-year-old actress had been targeted for "capital punishment" by the show's producer for some time, disclosed the insider. "She's always clashed with series creator-executive producer Marc Cherry. "For some time, Marc and the writers have been planning a dramatic demise befitting Nicollette," the insider confided.
Dang that really sounds like Marc Cherry hates her, he really hates her.
