Making the most of the beautiful weather, Reese Witherspoon treated her daughter Ava and son Tennessee to a picnic in San Francisco, California on Saturday (November 9).
The ?Sweet Home Alabama? star took her kiddos to a local park and frolicked in the grassy field while husband Jim Toth looked on.
Perhaps Reese & Co. were celebrating the recent sale of their ranch in Ojai, California following two years on the market.
Initially listed at $10 million, Witherspoon cut the asking price to just $6 million and a buyer made an accepted offer of $5.9 million.
A rep from Trulia told press, ?This Ojai escape is an ideal second home for Hollywood-types. It's a quick drive from Beverly Hills and the surrounding areas, but it's like being in a different world. At Reese's home, it's all about peace and quiet and escaping the busy life of an A-lister. It's cosy but spacious.?

In a self-aggrandizing speech at the 2008 at the AVN Awards, Jenna Jameson vowed to never spread her legs in the industry again effectively retiring from porn.
Fast forward to 2013 where Jenna’s Hollywood Hills mansion was recently foreclosed on andsold at auction. Even TMZ has no clue where Jenna is living now.
Since Jenna needs money for her kids, she found a job. In porn. She’s now basically a cam girl sticking things in her vag for virtual currency. Bless her heart.

Earlier this month, Lifetime Network announced that J. Love?s show ?The Client List? would not be returning for a third season.
However, it sounds like Jennifer will have her hands full with a new baby and a wedding to plan with fianc Brian Hallisay. She previously told press, "I'm just tackling this [pregnancy] first. This is the most important thing to us, so we'll just get to [the wedding] after."

Celebrating all the men and women who keep this country safe, LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian attended the Skydive Elsinore Disabled Veterans Event on Monday afternoon (November 11).
Clad in blue jumpsuits, the ?Can?t Fight the Moonlight? songstress and her handsome husband enjoyed a tandem skydive jump with Mario Lopez to kick off the day.
And during the event, Ms. Rimes also contributed a touching performance of the Star Spangled Banner to honor the vets in attendance.
Despite reports to the contrary, Eddie insisted that his relationship with LeAnn is just fine. Regarding the breakup rumors, he shared, ?They?re just absurd. To give any validity to any of these things, it?s crazy.?

I actually thought GQ had already done their big ?GQ Men of the Year? thing with the dueling covers of Justin Theroux (HA!), Jeff Bridges and Idris Elba. But I guess this is a separate event ? most magazines do something special for their last issue of the year, where they name their ?best? whatever of the year. And guess what Justin Timberlake got for 2013? He?s GQ?s ?Hashtag of the Year?. It sounds insulting, right? He’s not the best musical act or best actor (hahaha) or anything like that. He’s the Best Hashtag. You can see Justin?s GQ slideshow here ? those are actually pretty nice photos. As for the interview? well, I?m only reading the excerpts, but Justin comes across like a whiner. As usual.
In the magazine, Jessica Biel’s husband slams his critics for hating on his new film, Runner Runner, and album, The 20/20 Experience: 2 of 2, calling it a “double whammy.” GQ reports that Variety ran an op-ed titled “Why Justin Timberlake Should Stop Acting,” after Runner Runner, which also stars Ben Affleck, made only $8 million at the box office opening weekend.
Timberlake also tells the magazine that Billboard wrote (in his own words), ‘Tell him to leave his second half at home.’ Where did all this vitriol come from? It’s mean. And I’m not cut out for it.”
“The movie didn’t do well at the box office, so I should quit? Hold on a second,” he says. “If I was somebody else, you wouldn’t have said that. I have the number one album this week, and I shouldn’t have released it? Come on, man. You sound like a dickhead . . . It just shocked me because, like, you’re trade magazines. None of your opinions count. And by the way, none of you can do it.”
The former ‘N Sync member also tells the magazine that growing up in Memphis, Tenn. defines who he is today — and how he handles criticism. “It’s a struggling city with a defeatist attitude. I’m from this town, and I grew up with a little bit of a chip on my shoulder, so sometimes I find it funny that I’ve been able to acquire the patience it takes to be kind to people in our business,” he says. “Because sometimes I just want to f–king kill everybody.”

Well, he?s right about one thing: he?s not cut out for it. And I covered that Variety editorial/column about how Justin should quit acting. It was on-target. And no, it wasn?t just because Runner, Runner bombed ?it?s because Justin can?t carry a film, nor is he an effective supporting actor or character actor. He?s extremely talented as a pop artist ? no one is saying otherwise. But he?s an awful actor. But I guess my opinion doesn?t count. Neither does yours. Which is why it doesn?t matter that all of us never see Justin?s movies and that?s why they keep bombing. Because we?re all dickheads and we should let Justin be a special little butterfly. Who can?t act his way out of a paper bag.

Here are some photos of LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian yesterday, at a charity event benefiting disabled veterans. According to Fame/Flynet, LeAnn sang ?The Star Spangled Banner? at The Skydive Elsinore Disabled Veterans Event, and then she and Eddie actually did some skydiving. Before I read the specifics of the event, I kind of thought this was some stunt with Richard Branson, like LeAnn got to dress up as Astronaut Barbie or something. Apparently, the event was organized by Mario Lopez. Have we ever talked about how Mario Lopez and Eddie Cibrian are kind of the same person? Think about it ? both are cheating dogs, both are famous for being pretty but dumb, both are pretty squinty.
According to LeAnn?s Twitter, ?My husband has half way talked me into doing something dangerous today. We’ll see if I chicken out or not. #slightly terrified?. Haha, so it was Eddie?s idea to throw his wife out of a plane? #MakesSense. Never has a man prayed so hard for a parachute malfunction, right?
And of course, LeAnn and Eddie got to use a charity event for disabled veterans as just another photo-op to prove their love. Oh, well. At least it was for charity.
PS… I don’t know a lot about skydiving, but I don’t think you’re supposed to wear heeled booties, right?

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen both compete for our attention with separate Allure covers for the December issue. I’ve always had a soft spot for these girls. Ashley has always seemed like the more grounded twin, and MK was the wild one but has settled down from her partying days. Maybe there’s something good about the “grotesque” romance between 27-year-old MK and 42-year-old Olivier Sarkozy. Mary-Kate went through a few years where she dropped out of college and dated the same Greek shipping heirs as Paris Hilton. In comparison, a Sarkozy seems like a good idea.
These Allure covers aren’t the most flattering photos of the girls at all. Mary Kate seems like she’s about to drop off for a long winter’s nap. Ashley fares better. The twins are talking about their fashion lines of course. They are sometimes accused of ripping off other lines, and they sell ridiculous $55k purses. I do like the look of The Row even if I’d never pay that much money for clothes. Sorry Olsens. Here are some excerpts:
Ashley on their twin bond: “[Our connection is] beyond words. We both carry the weight of each other.”
MK on not having it all: “I think people looked at us with the perception of, ‘Oh, you just have everything. You can do whatever.’ Strangers assumed we had enough money to just do nothing, or why would we go to college? And it’s such an uneducated perspective! You still have to grow within business. You have to take a chance.”
Ashley chimes in: “It’s not like you wake up one day and have a huge company with four or five different companies within the companies, not to mention our past and future.”
Ashley on acting: “I was reading scripts, and ultimately I just said to the people who were representing me, ‘I need to do things 100 percent. I don’t feel like I can give you 100 percent of my time …’ There’s a lot of compromise in the entertainment industry. I can’t sit in this room and audition for this part.”

Do you buy what the twins are selling here? I’m not sure why they care what people say about how they succeeded in fashion. I think even if one discounts their massive startup capital, it’s impossible to deny how name recognition got their designs noticed in the first place. I do respect that they work like crazy when they don’t have to. The twins were obscenely rich when they turned 18, and I remember reading an article that illustrated the fact by stating they could each afford to buy a Range Rover every day of their lives. At least they work hard, and they make all their stuff in the United States. No sweatshops for the Olsens. Good on them.

Showing some love to her loyal followers, Miley Cyrus showed up at BBC Radio 1 Studios in London, England on Tuesday morning (November 12).
The ?Party in the USA? singer was bright-eyed and bushy-tailed as she arrived for her interview, sporting a furry white vest with a black crop top and black leather trousers while posing with her fans for photos.
And while Miley?s controversial performance at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards had the Parents Television Council up in arms, it seems the PTC was pleased that MTV censored Cyrus? joint-smoking antics at the 2013 MTV European Music Awards.
After the East Coast broadcast left out Miley?s misconduct, the conservative organization issued a statement- ?We applaud MTV for taking responsible actions to eliminate the drug use from its U.S. broadcast, and we urge them to make that a uniform policy for all of its programming.?

Joaquin Phoenix covers the December issue of Esquire UK to promote Her, which is his new movie with Rooney Mara. I love Joaquin, but the first thing I thought when catching a glimpse of this cover was, “He looks … unwell.” That’s the only the cover too. The editorial is somehow even worse, which is weird because Joaquin has developed a habit of appearing unkempt, but that’s not the case in this shoot. He looks clean cut but stressed out and beaten down. Could it be because so many outlets recently reminded us all of the 20th anniversary of River Phoenix’s passing? I don’t know. I hope Joaquin’s okay.
This interview is a bit of a mess too. Joaquin quite nearly goes full Chris Evans with the neuroses firing full blast. Joaquin is no spring chicken either. He’s been acting for three decades, yet he reveals that he completely freaks out while filming every movie. He does not paint a pretty picture at all. Is it real, or is it an act?
He’s terrified of acting: “I don?t know my craft! Every f—ing movie, I feel like it?s my first. I’m uncontrollably shaking, physically nervous [on every set]. No way am I like, ?Yeah, I got this?. Every time feels f—ing terrifying. They have to put f—ing pads in my armpits because I sweat so much that it drips down my wardrobe.”
Ohhh the angst: “These guys I?ve been working with, Spike and Paul [Directors Spike Jonze and Paul Thomas] I was thinking the other day: what happened? I don?t deserve to be here!”
He aims to please: “I like being an employee. My job is to please the director, that?s it. Because seriously, if you see cuts and dailies, it?s hard for any actor to take credit. Any performance in a movie is the complete work, and it?s the director that sews it all together. It matters so much to me to impress the director. I get crippled by my own thought process. I just want to make this person happy.”
He thinks he’s an idiot: “My taste is like a sophisticated four-year-old. I wish I could say I watch European movies and sh-t, but I don?t. I watch [2008?s] Step Brothers more than any other f—ing movie.”
No pretention, please: “Here?s what I worry about. When people are constantly adjusting your collar and your lapel and you just give in to it? It?s over. You?re no longer a human being. When you see an adult actor on set, they look infantilised. People are there to dress you. They bring you espressos and lattes and sh-t. It?s like arrested development. We?re all just little f—ing runt kids.”
The offers aren’t flowing after his Andy Kaufman routine: “I?m choosing one out of two movies, dude. It?s a pretty limited choice.”
Making I’m Still Here with Casey Affleck: “That experience was so exciting and rewarding, it was really hard after that to imagine ever making a conventional movie again.”

I think he’s being real here, don’t you? Joaquin was who I thought of yesterday when Julia Roberts was rambling about how every actor wants an Oscar. Well Joaquin doesn’t want one. Remember how he spouted, “I think it’s total, utter bullsh-t” last year? Then he got called out and admitted, “I guess I sound like a d-ck.” At the time, Joaquin also said an Oscar is “the antithesis of what you want to be as an actor. You’re always trying to free yourself of the artifice, which is really difficult. Especially when you suck, like me.” He really thinks he’s an awful actor. Amazing.

Kaley Cuoco has been with Ryan Sweeting for about four and a half months I think. I was going to be generous and say five months, but I really think four and a half is accurate. He proposed to her at the end of September, which means they?d only been together for three months when he popped the question. And the rest has been famewhore history. At first, I didn?t really blame her. Despite theories and tabloid reports to the contrary, I think Henry Cavill dumped her and she reacted by flaunting her sudden, new relationship with Ryan, which was completely fine. My problem is that she?s trying to wrap a bow around it and call it true love.
Anyway, last week Kaley and Ryan were on the Ellen DeGeneres show, just for the hell of it, I guess. Ellen talked them into a quickie wedding, which I guess isn?t legal? I hope for everyone?s sake that the wedding wasn?t legal.
So, have we given Kaley enough attention? No. Because ?someone? claimed that Kaley is 12 weeks pregnant and that she was planning to announce by the end of the year. That bit of gossip came from a weird blind item? they didn?t even come out and say it was for sure Kaley and Ryan. So Kaley thought she would get on Twitter to specifically deny the story, writing: ?I would like to make something very clear to anyone who cares. I AM NOT EFFING PREGNANT. Do with that what you will.” So now we know. This reminds me of the time when she was calling the paparazzi on Ryan two seconds after they started dating, then she got on Twitter to deny that she was calling the paps. Yes, Kaley. I?ll give her some credit ? she?s worked every angle and now she has way more name-recognition than she ever did last year.

Before Eddie, LeAnn and Brandi, there was the Uncool Bermuda Triangle of Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston. And before that Uncool Triangle, there was the epic scandal involving Helena Bonham Carter, Kenneth Branagh and Emma Thompson. All of them were friends. Kenneth and Emma were married, and frequent collaborators. Kenneth was being called the next Laurence Olivier. Emma Thompson won two Oscars within three years. Helena was considered The Corset Queen, the go-to girl for all English period films. And then disaster struck. Kenneth and Helena had an affair. Emma and Kenneth divorced, and she ended up with Greg Wise. Kenneth and Helena tried to make their relationship work for a few years, but she ended up leaving him for Tim Burton. And now Kenneth is remarried to someone else entirely.
This was all before internet gossip was a thing, but it was a HUGE deal back when it happened. Emma definitely came out the winner, but to my knowledge, she never played the ?wronged woman? card or tried to turn public sympathy into a career. She just got on with her life, married a great guy (seriously, I love Greg Wise), had a daughter and she?s still turning in amazing work. As Emma does her promotional rounds for Saving Mr. Banks (which might earn Emma yet another Oscar nomination), Emma spoke about the thing with Kenneth and Helena:
Emma Thompson has spoken for the first time about her then husband Kenneth Branagh?s affair with Helena Bonham Carter. The liaison ended Miss Thompson?s six-year marriage to Branagh, who she wed in 1989 just two years after they met while filming.
Miss Thompson said the break-up was ?all blood under the bridge?, adding: ?You can?t hold on to anything like that. It?s pointless. I haven?t got the energy for it. Helena and I made our peace years and years ago.?
The 54-year-old double Oscar winner has spoken candidly about the depression that she suffered following the end of her marriage in 1995.
Miss Bonham Carter is believed to have started an affair with Branagh in 1994 while she played his love interest in Branagh?s version of Mary Shelley?s Frankenstein. They had a five-year relationship. Miss Thompson said she channelled her feelings of betrayal into her portrayal of a wronged wife in Richard Curtis?s romantic comedy Love Actually.
?I?ve had so much bloody practice at crying in a bedroom, then having to go out and be cheerful, gathering up the pieces of my heart and putting them in a drawer,? she said.
Miss Thompson says there are similarities between her and Miss Bonham Carter, 47, which may have appealed to Branagh, 52: ?Being slightly mad and a bit fashion-challenged. Perhaps that?s why Ken loved us both. She?s a wonderful woman, Helena?.
Miss Thompson is married to Greg Wise, an actor and producer whom she met on the set of the 1995 version of Jane Austen?s Sense and Sensibility. The couple have one daughter, Gaia, 13, and a son, Tindyebwa Agaba, 26, a former child soldier from Rwanda whom they informally adopted when he was 16.
Miss Bonham Carter has two children, Billy, ten, and Nell, five, with her partner, film director Tim Burton. Miss Thompson has starred in two films with Miss Bonham Carter: Howard?s End in 1992 and the Harry Potter series from 2007.
In 2002, Miss Bonham Carter said her relationships had been misunderstood in the press, alluding to allegations of her affair with Branagh, and later, Burton.
?Yes. I?m a habitual, serial home breaker, apparently,? she said. ?It gets frustrating because I know the story and the truth of it. It is very hurtful and, frankly, some of the things I have been called are quite libelous. But it?s part of the price of being in the public eye.?
