Grabbing up a cup of joe earlier today (January 5), Jennifer Garner was spotted out in sunny Santa Monica, CA.
The “Ghosts of Girlfriends Past” star –who seemed to be in good spirits- sported her usual jeans and tennis shoes along with a blue and green plaid button up top.
Perhaps Ms Garner was all smiles because the man accused of harassing her family has been ordered to stand trial on stalking charges.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mark Windham ruled Monday that there was sufficient evidence against Steven Richard Burky to warrant a trial on two felony counts of stalking and two felony misdemeanor counts of disobeying a court order.

The wacky pair — who’ve been dating since September 2009 — became betrothed five days ago while on holiday in Jaipur, India. A pal says that Brand, 34, proposed with a ring, and that Perry, 25, happily accepted.
On Twitter Dec. 29, the pop singer shared a sweet snapshot of her and the British comedian in front of India’s famed Taj Mahal. “He built this for me,” she wrote beneath the photo.
The exotic trip, a Perry insider tells Us, “was his Christmas gift. She told him how much she loved Indian culture while they were eating curry in England, so he surprised her.”
On New Year’s Day, she shared another tourist photo: her hand being painted with a traditional Henna tattoo. (”Isn’t it lovely?” she wrote.) The day before, she perhaps hinted at spontaneous decisions to come later that week: “In India, the motto…you gotta go with the flow…”
At November’s MTV Europe Music Awards, Perry paid tribute to Brand via her on-stage underpants, emblazoned with his nickname, “Rusty.”
Of their romance, a friend tells Us that Perry has “never connected with anybody like this.” As for Brand, the Forgetting Sarah Marshall star “is super into her. She says he makes her laugh like nobody else in the world,” an insider says.

If it?s true, then congratulations to them. It sounds like the kind of thing Russell would do on a whim, which is why I tend to believe it. Now, is Russell ready to hang up his orgy pants to become a one-woman man? Is Katy woman enough for such a famous ?swordsman? (as the Brits say)? Meh. I think Katy genuinely has a hold on Russell and he?s trying to change for her. Will it last? Probably not. But I?ll bet they have a lot of fun until then.

Singer takes electronic approach with a slew of collaborations on new LP.By James Dinh

Between working with legendary hip-hop producer DJ Premier or making a song that's a throwback to the 1940s, Christina Aguilera has never been afraid to experiment with her music. And on her new album, Bionic, due in March, the singer is looking ahead: In next month's issue of Marie Claire, the songstress said that the album "is about the future," crediting her son Max as one of her musical inspirations who's "motivating me to want to play and have fun."
Although she's always been known for her soaring vocals, she's brought in a softer style of singing on this album. She admitted to the magazine that easing up is something "that maybe I've been afraid to do in the past, to allow myself to go to a place of 'less singing,' " she said. "I'm more vulnerable and more strong at the same time."
According to the magazine, the album's tentative first single is a Tricky Stewart-produced track called "Glam," described as "a poppy, hip-hop inflected throwback to Madonna's 'Vogue.' " Other tracks include "the addictive electronic title track" and an ode to her son titled "Lullaby," which is the result of Aguilera's studio sessions with Australian singer Sia.
Last fall, Tricky Stewart talked about the album, calling it "one of her best bodies of work." "I know that there's a lot of other cool features, like I know that she has Santigold and Flo Rida on there," he told Rap-Up.com. "She's mixing it up again. She's singing R&B again, she's doing pop. She's doing it all, but she's found a way to make it all meet in the middle because she's so many different things."
Over the summer, Aguilera mentioned a couple of other artists
she's been working with, although it was unclear at press time whether those collaborations will appear on the LP. "I got a chance to sort of write with Santigold, M.I.A., Ladytron — artists that I really love." she told fans during a broadcast for her A.P.E. radio station in August. Other collaborators include Dr. Luke, Bravery frontman Sam Endicott (who worked with Shakira on "She Wolf"), Switch and Goldfrapp.
And while she puts the finishing touches on Bionic, Aguilera is also busy shooting her on-screen debut in the movie musical, "Burlesque,"which hits theaters in November.

Taking care of some promotional duties, Katharine McPhee made an appearance on “The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien” last night (January 4).
The “American Idol” alum looked lovely as she sang a selection from her brand new album titled Unbroken, sporting a cleavage-baring black top with black stretch pants and black heels.
And though she is definitely blessed to have a loyal fan base, it seems the critics aren’t too fond of Ms. McPhee’s latest effort.
One review reads, “She can really sing; she just needs more distinctive material than she’s come up with here,” while another laments, “The American Idol fifth-season runner-up ... once again offers a bland, forgettable collection of sweet, soft numbers that lack distinct personality.”

An insider revealed, “Patrick stole Lindsay’s sketches for her new 6126 clothing line. He is now running off trying to do his own line. And telling people he’s going to fashion market week in NYC on February 18 to debut his line.”
“It’s horrible. He was her best friend. He has always used her, and she’s been warned to never trust him. Lindsay is a good friend and likes to see the good in people. She didn’t want to believe how bad Patrick’s energy was, and how false his friendship has always been with her.”

Sporting an all black ensemble and drawing quite the paparazzi crowd, the “Pieces of Me” songstress smiled graciously as she headed back into the apartment she, husband Pete Wentz and baby Bronx have been renting.
On Monday, a bundled up Ms Simpson took her 1-year-old son for a stroll before heading to the Ambassador for one her performance as Roxie Hart for the popular musical, “Chicago.”
In other news, Ashlee’s ex boyfriend and musician, Ryan Cabrera recently opened about seeing pictures of Ash and her new family.
The singer told press, “Back at home, for Christmas, I was hanging out with Jessica (Simpson) and saw pics of Ashlee’s babies and stuff. It’s kind of cool. It’s not weird in terms of me seeing her with someone else, but it’s weird because I’m like, ‘Whoa, is that what we’re supposed to be doing?’”

Sienna Miller is one of those celebrities that I tend to overanalyze because she pisses me off so much. I can?t really help it - I think she?s extremely fake, I often find her interviews insanely narcissistic, and at times it feels like she?s trying to create a public faade of some bohemian, low-key goddess while she?s in reality a high-maintenance drama-queen. But that?s just my take on her. Maybe I?m wrong. But I doubt it.
Anyway, Sienna sat down for an interview with OK! Magazine UK, and she?s talking mainly about body image and exercise. Now, I do think Sienna is a pretty girl with a nice figure, and I also think she knows she?s a pretty girl with a nice figure. But in this interview, Sienna reminds me of those friends with the great bodies who complain about the smidge of fat on their slender thighs while I feel like I?ve got 20 pounds of bloat.
Sienna Miller says she hates working out and doesn?t stop herself if she wants a piece of chocolate cake. Sienna Miller has revealed she doesn?t go to the gym and she says she has never been great at keeping to a strict diet.
She told OK!: ?I?m not a gym person. I used to be very sporty at school and I loved competitive sports, but it?s hard for me to go to a gym and just run. I get bored very easily, so I have to find things that are more interesting. I could do with being more toned. It?s small, but it?s not firm.?
And the 28-year-old actress says she definitely noticed a change in her body shape after turning 25.
She added: ?I think I?ve reached an age now where it?s time for me to start working out a bit. I can?t get away with it any more. I used to be able to get away with it. I was quite firm and quite tiny and as I hit 25, things started to change. Now I?m noticing more changes. You know, a top and bare legs at the back is not a pretty sight! I?m lazy and if I wear clothes, it?s hidden well.?
But her body worries don?t stop her indulging in the occasional slice of chocolate cake.
She admitted: ?I do [try and resist] and then I make a joke that I should just stick it on my bum because that?s where it?s going. But I will then eat the chocolate cake and then I have definite insecurities about my body. I?m small but I?m not firm any more.?

Could it be that Sienna is just acknowledging the truth about her body and I?m just overanalyzing? Perhaps. But I think Sienna looks like she?s strutting herself around for the cameras, as if she knows that even if she?s not exercising, she still looks great.

There?s not really anything wrong with Elle UK?s February cover, but it still annoys me. Sure, Natalie Portman looks gorgeous, per usual. I can?t think of any time where I haven?t stopped dead in my tracks and thought ?there?s no possible way to take a bad picture of her.? So, that?s fine. I guess it?s the outfit that annoys me. She?s pantless and wearing a puffy shirt or wrap or something. It?s not cute. The Jezebel girls called this cover ?Natalie Portman?s Elle UK Cover Ushers In a New Decade of Sexyface? and they point out that ?While nobody knows what this decade may bring, fashion-wise, I think it’s safe to say that the February 2010 cover of Elle UK proves that two trends of the 00s?sexyface and no-pants?haven’t died just yet.? Maybe I would like the cover better if her mouth was closed. It would be an improvement, right?
Anyhoodle, the interview from Elle UK hasn?t been released yet. I?m assuming Natalie is promoting Brothers in the interview, and I?m also assuming Natalie will continue to whine about Hollywood being a bully, and how eating meat is equivalent to rape, or talking about how she signed the Roman Polanski petition. Meh.
While I was looking for the interview online, I did find one very interesting rumor that swirling around. Apparently Natalie, Kristen Stewart and Ellen Page are all vying to play the lead (opposite George Clooney) in the American remake of the Swedish film (based on the Stieg Larsson Millennium book trilogy) The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. If you?d like to know more about the author or the trilogy, Newsweek had a really excellent piece that works as an introduction to the series. Apparently, the role Portman, Page and Stewart are vying for is Lisbeth Salander, a young, brilliant computer hacker. Clooney would be playing the cop investigating the Swedish criminal underbelly.
Now here’s a role that Kristen Stewart can really sink her teeth into. Or at least bite her lip over.
The New Moon beauty is rumored to be up for he part of hacker Lisbeth Salander in an upcoming adaptation of the Swedish film trilogy Millennium. What’s more, the top contender for the male lead in the movie is none other than George Clooney. How interesting would it to be to see those two act opposite each other?
In the original Millennium trilogy?which was adapted from Swedish author Stieg Larsson’s books?the role of Salander, a highly intelligent but antisocial and violence-prone computer hacker, was portrayed by Noomi Rapace. Sony Pictures is currently negotiating to adapt the film series.
K-Stew could have some heavy competition for the part, however; Natalie Portman and Ellen Page have both expressed interest in the role. Do you think Stewart would be a good fit for the role?

Entering into the year with a new love, Rihanna spent the day engaging in a little PDA with new boyfriend Matt Kemp in Mexico on Monday (January 4).
The twosome cutely held one another near the hotel pool, with the Barbadian beauty stripping down to her bikini as she frolicked with her baseball star beau in the cool waters.
The trip to Mexico follows a New Year’s spent overseas at the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi - for which Rihanna was accompanied by Mr Kemp.
Doing quite well for himself, the Los Angeles Dodgers slugger won a Golden Glove Award and a Silver Slugger Award at the end of the 2009 season.

Stepping out for a midday meal, Justin Timberlake was spotted out for lunch at BLD restaurant in Los Angeles, California on Monday (January 4).
Looking stylish in black longsleeve shirt with crisp blue jeans and a black fedora cap, the “SexyBack” stud did his best to ignore paparazzi while meandering back to his nearby car.
The sighting comes shortly after it was announced that Timberlake has been named the most charitable star of 2009.
According to reports, the Grammy winning singer raised $9,198,072 for the Shriners Hospitals for Children - a cause dear to his heart.
Also doing quite well when it comes to helping others, Madonna came in second after earning $5,501,835 for her Raising Malawi foundation.
Rounding out the top five were Pamela Anderson (PETA), Oprah Winfrey (Oprah’s Angel Network) and U2 frontman Bono (ONE foundation).

Continuing along with their fun-filled island romp, Lindsay Lohan and her sister Ali were spotted out in St Barts on Monday afternoon (January 4).
While the “Mean Girls” starlet kept covered up, her little sis was once again decked out in a cute little bikini top while readying for a suntanning session.
As previously reported by Gossip Center, Miss Lohan was quite active on her Twitter account as 2010 rolled in - posting numerous messages about her upcoming hopes and plans.
She first wrote, “My new years resolution is to stop letting the lucky few that have my heart, try2constantly tear me down.”
LiLo continued to tweet, “2010 is about moving forward, not backwards. Leaving the bad (people, habbits, and negative energy behind) time to make changes-right!?!?”

The stars of Twilight were spotted bundled up in hoodies shopping on the island off England’s south coast and even took pics with a fan, according to reports.
Rob spent the holidays in his native London where he celebrated Christmas with his family so it’s no surprise his costar ? who he’s had an on-and-off again romance with ? would join him to Usher in the new year!
Now, keep in mind that this is from Star, so there’s at least an 85% chance this story is entirely made up and the “reports” came from a talking badger and a bag of hashish. But still, there is a remote possibility that Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson may have spent a day shopping on the same island, and maybe they were both wearing sweatshirts. Oh mah gawd, y’all… can you feel the romance? The passion? The excitement? Yeah, me neither. I’m pretty sure I fell asleep at some point, and now my whole left side is numb.
