Last week, one of the weirdest and messiest gossip stories involved Miranda Lambert. The incident was described as Miranda, her mom, and a then-unidentified ?male friend? getting into some kind of physical confrontation with an older couple. All of this went down at a Nashville steakhouse. And at some point, Miranda reportedly went over to the older couple?s table and dumped her salad on the wife. Trashy. I sort of believe that Miranda released the news of her surprise wedding to deflect from this trashy steakhouse story, just as I believe that the ?male friend? who was dining with Miranda was probably her new husband, an NYPD police officer. Well, I?m not going to let this steakhouse beef die! Steakhouse employees called 911 about the altercation, and it?s amazing:
New details have emerged about Miranda Lambert?s alleged restaurant dispute in Tennessee Sunday. In 911 calls obtained by TMZ and The Tennessean, a female employee at Nashville?s Stoney River Steakhouse restaurant can be heard telling a Metro dispatcher: ?I have two guests about to get into a fistfight? Miranda Lambert?.She just ran out the door, and got into it with another couple right here? I?m sorry my manager just said call 911,? the employee explained.
In a separate 911 call, a dispatcher can be heard asking what sparked the altercation.
?Something happened in the restaurant between these two gentlemen, and another gentleman walked up to her table and started cussing him out,? the employee told the dispatcher. ?This is the third time they?ve gotten into it, and now Miranda is trying to hit people, and she?s flipping plates on them.?
In another call, a frantic employee pleaded with the 911 dispatcher for help.
?There?s an altercation between two guests, and it?s about to get physical,? the employee explained. ?Our managers are trying to hold them back but we can?t.? The woman described the two people as a male in his 30s and a male in his 60s. According to a TMZ report released on Wednesday, Lambert was eating with her mother and a family friend when the fight broke out.

I think it?s probably likely that the whole thing was instigated between the men, which was what was initially claimed too like, the men had words with each other in the men?s room, and everything spilled out into the main restaurant. That being said, it does not sound like Miranda was doing much to keep calm, or keep anyone else calm. As soon as her drama-alert pinged, Miranda threw herself into the situation and began tossing salads right and left. Toss salads first, ask questions later. I also think that if Miranda?s ?male friend? was her new police officer husband that this story gets even shadier if it was the new husband, he was clearly not ?on duty? in Nashville. But I wonder if he tried to pull some sh-t with his badge or something.

We?re not even done with February and we?ve already had two major Brad Pitt attempts to create some relationship drama. The current attempt is Brad and Jennifer Aniston doing their old-school thing. But in January, Brad was trying to convince us that he and Charlize Theron fell in love over their Breitling watch sponsorship. It was a convenient piece of sponcon for Breitling AND the headlines helped Brad distract from the ongoing shenanigans with Make It Right NOLA and beyond. What was funny was that it felt like Charlize Theron and her people shut it down VERY quickly. Like, Charlize wants no part of it. And as it turns out, she?s still single:

When host Ellen DeGeneres reasoned that she used to practice kissing on her hand, Theron countered that her sweet spot was the bend of her arm, which her Long Shot costar Seth Rogen called ?the arm butt.?
?You practice because it?s like lips and so you can like ?? the Oscar winner trailed off as she laughed and held her arm up to her mouth. Theron then added, ?It?s why I?m single,? to which DeGeneres, 61, replied: ?Try on your hand and you won?t be.?

Of course shes single Brad is back with Jennifer Aniston, LMAO. I think Charlize has been mostly single since she ghosted the fk out of Sean Penn several years ago. I?m sure she dated here and there, but her biggest priority seems to be her mom and her kids. I also think Stuart Townsend was the one who got away for Charlize they were together for so long!
Charlize was on Ellen to debut the trailer for her new movie, Long Shot. I think this looks sort of cute? You know why it works? Because Seth Rogen?s is schluby, but he treats her like gold, as opposed to ?schluby and he treats her like sh-t.? Also, I bet Charlize and Seth had a ball working on this together.

After all this time, I?ve never really gotten a sense of who Irina Shayk really is. I mean, I know what she does and why she?s famous Russian model, great body, former girlfriend of Cristiano Ronaldo and now the baby-mama of Bradley Cooper but I?ve never known what she?s really like. I was pleasantly surprised when I read her interview with W Magazine to promote her continuing brand endorsement for Intimissimi lingerie she comes across as sort of funny, maybe, and she actually comes across as just kind of normal and not really fancy or pretentious? She?s not Gooping it up, so I give her some credit, if we?re setting the bar that low. You can read the full W Magazine piece here. Some highlights:
The idea of sexiness: ?We live in the 21st century and with everything that?s going on in the world, people always ask me what it means to be sexy, and sexy is not about wearing a push-up bra and red lipstick and high heels. Every women is sexy in her own way. It?s something that comes from inside of you. You don?t have to go out there and show it?though if you want to go out there and show it, it?s totally fine. When you see a woman dressed in a suit and sneakers, I think she?s sexy. It?s about your character, how you move, how you talk?that?s sexy to me. She?s a bra hoarder: ?I have so many bras. But I?m really good at giving them away when I get new ones. My friends always call me. I?ve been so lucky, that I feel like it?s good to give some away. But what?s really funny is I still have one of my first bras that Intimissimi ever gave to me. I think it?s probably eight or nine years old. I still wear itI have drawers. I keep moving bras from drawers to boxes, and now I have so many boxes. I?ve been giving them away. Some bras are really close to my heart though, so I?ll keep them. I?m like, ?Maybe it?s for my daughter.?
Her obsession: ?Well, I?m Russian, so I do a Russian sauna at least once or twice a week. It?s different because you get hit by a hot broom, and it opens your pores and cleans your skin. Then you jump in a cold plunge and the difference in temperature makes your skin tighter. It?s a Russian ritual that I?ve been doing since I was a kid. And I don?t believe in facials. I really don?t. I don?t believe in going somewhere and pay someone $300 to rub cream on your face. I believe in facials with machines, like microcurrents, so it?s actually a microcurrent for your face. My latest obsession is in London called FaceGym. They have one in New York, I think. It?s literally the best thing ever. The woman comes and does a workout for your face. When you leave, you really feel like your face is lifted.
She keeps talking about eating cakes, and she?s asked if she bakes those cakes: ?No, I?m a really bad cook. I just eat cakes.?

This is maybe the most Russian sentence ever: ?It?s different because you get hit by a hot broom.? Was something lost in translation or are people really sitting in saunas and getting hit with hot brooms? Cue twenty people telling me that Russian saunas are the hottest thing ever and why don?t I know about the Hot Broom Technique. You bitches are so gullible!! *insert Russian villain voice* ?We will make women come into hot house and we will hit with hot broom hahahaha.? Also: I like her better for not believing in facials. I really do. I also think its gross/funny that she would save BRAS for her daughter.

Drew Barrymore is a judge on that CBS competition show, Worlds Best, with RuPaul, Faith Hill and James Corden. There are so many reality competition shows and theyre being usurped by those celebrity performance shows like Masked Singer and Lip Sync Battle. The last time we checked in on Drew she was claiming that she never gets stage fright because she was a child actress. It was typical Drew and she also went on about talking to the checkout people at stores something. Shes mentioned this topic before, about being open and friendly and having small moments of connection. Drew hasnt had a special someone since her divorce. She posted something to Instagram recently to celebrate Valentines Day, it was a series of sticky notes on the mirror of her trailer at work. (I think the woman who left it was working with her on a Crocs photoshoot.)

I am not totally sure what Valentine?s Day is supposed to feel like. But when I walked in my trailer today at work and saw that my friend @joyseaboch had put this on my mirror, I knew. I know this I love my friends. I love my children first of course, but this day is just about love period. And if you don?t have it with a romantic partner (I?m single and have not been able to successfully date for almost four years so what do I know you ask?) I believe with all my heart in the human heart. There are just good days and bad days. Really difficult- test your will to live days. And days where you feel so alive your skin tingles and your smile might just rip your face apart until it floats right up into heaven and you want skywrite about how goddamn happy you are!!!!! But the constant love usually has been my kids and my friends. A type of love that does not require a romantic partnership and navigation. And if you want to read the best thing I have seen in a long ass time about a relationship on love, than read @elainewelteroth Instagram page today. It blew me away. And when I am ready for love I am gonna remember what she said! I have fought my way to a deeper happiness on my own, and i love being independent! It just rules. I am also lucky enough to have two young amazing kids and a full time job, and rad friends. So I?m not sitting around bummed out. I feel stupid grateful. But I?m still a romantic at heart. As for today, don?t waste the day being sad about what you don?t have! Be happy about what you do have. It?s there. I promise.

Angelina Jolie stepped out this weekend with her son Pax. They went shopping on Melrose Avenue, which is sort of an old-school pap stroll. What I always think is interesting is that Angelina Jolie has a certain image, which is largely self-created. That image is badass action heroine/globe-trotting humanitarian/studio-director. She?s all of those things. But she?s also a woman who has spent most of her life in LA. She grew up there. She presumably spent part of her adolescence shopping on Melrose with her mom. She?s raising her kids partially in LA, and she?s continuing that multigenerational LA life.
Anyway, people were making a big deal last week about how Angelina was probably very upset about Brad Pitt attending Jennifer Aniston?s birthday party, and all of the subsequent PR shenanigans about Brad & Jen 2.0. I honestly doubt Angelina gives a sh-t, just like I never believed she gave a sh-t about Neri Oxman or Charlize Theron or whoever else Brad was trying to date. Again, she dumped him. She?s living her life.
Also: remember when Angelina invented white blouses and trench coats?? LOL. I love her whole outfit here, even if I think that white blouse makes her look a tad preggo. Wouldn?t that be something? She?s not pregnant, of course. She?s just gained a little weight and it looks so good on her.
