The ?Sucker Punch? starlet looked to be in good spirits as she hopped out of her stylish black Audi S5 convertible and chatted with a handsome male pal.
Earlier this week, Vanessa blogged about her finger nails, stating, ?I just couldn?t stay away from the acrylics lol,? along with a picture of her hands.
Miss Hudgens attended the Coldplay gig in Los Angeles over the weekend, gushing, ?Thank you Coldplay for the most amazing show I have EVER seen.?

Showing off her bright auburn locks, Christina Hendricks was spotted stepping out of her Manhattan hotel in New York City, New York on Tuesday (May 8).
Offering up a curbside attraction, the "Mad Men" star patiently waited for a cab in front of her hotel and looked adroable in a mint green sweater that she paired with a white tee, skinny jeans, coral colored pumps and a light Pink purse.
Christina recently talked about how lucky she feels to play her character during an interview with the network, revealing, "I think I've been really lucky in that Joan is really a one-of-a-kind character."
She added, "She's not a stereotype and you don't just see roles like that in every script you get. People have asked me if I've worried about being typecast, but there is no "type" for Joan."

Miley Cyrus’ new movie “LOL” wasn’t screened for press review and Lionsgate did absolutely no promotion for it whatsoever, so it should come as no surprise that it tanked at the box office this past weekend. Also, it stars Miley Cyrus. The Daily Mail says:
The teen romantic comedy flopped at the U.S. box office after being released in a limited number of screens.
The film, which co-stars Demi Moore and Ashley Greene, earned approximately $46,500.
However Miley tweeted how proud she was of the film, [writing], ‘Thank u so much for everyone who went to see LOL… It is a film I loved making and I am proud of. That’s all that matters to me.’
And you thought “Christmas in Canaan” was as low as the Cyrus family could sink. Never underestimate what being hand-reared by a man with a mullet can do to your sense of shame.

Jennifer Love Hewitt was on The Wendy Williams show promoting her jerk-off show “The Client List” (I think it’s accurate to call it that) this week. She talked a little bit about the “controversy” of her boobs being digitally reduced in the ads for the show, which she’s discussed multiple times before. Then Wendy asked her about her “bucket list,” which she apparently has at just 33. As her main dream, no kidding, J.Love said she wanted to be a Victoria’s Secret angel “just for a day,” but that it also would involve being on the cover of their magazine. Then Wendy gave J.Love some real-ish Victoria’s Secret wings and had her walk down the runwalk on the show. Hewitt was still in her dress though, it’s not like she did a bra and panties catwalk like they do in the VS fashion shows.
This woman told Ellen last month that she wanted to date newly single Adam Levine. Levine’s last girlfriend was a Victoria’s Secret model. (And he’s made it clear that he’s not going to take J.Love up on her offer.) Was this some kind of attempt to be appealing to the guy of her dreams, or is she actually sincere about wanting to be a Victoria’s Secret model? Just about everything she does seems geared to appeal to men, so maybe it wasn’t specifically aimed at Levine.
Also, I’m not going to point out that she’s not exactly VS model material, even though she’s really hot. (Although I did point it out by mentioning it. See what I did there?) She probably knows this, and is just saying that she always dreamed of being a VS model, not that she’s qualified necessarily. At least that’s what I got out of it.

No, you’re not reading this wrong: Cameron Diaz is joining Ridley Scott’s “The Counselor,” taking the role previously eyed by Angelina Jolie. And yes, we’re just as surprised as you are.
Twitch have broken the news, marking a rather surprising twist in the casting of the highly anticipated film based on a spec script by literary master Cormac McCarthy. In a project that has seen a ton of names come up to bat looking to for a role, Diaz is a name that hasn’t been mentioned, and really, isn’t quite in the same calibre as the other talent involved. But it looks like she has impressed all the right people and is taking on a role that is very much outside her wheelhouse.
Reports have bene conflicting about which roles actresses have sought, but according to Twitch, Jolie was looking at the role of Malkina (some said she was toying with the smaller part of Laura), the Almodvarean femme fatale of the film. Penelope Cruz was last reported to be kicking the tires on the part but it looks like the Brad Pitt/Angelina Jolie power couple casting for the movie won’t be panning out. Sorry tabloids. But hell, this marks the bravest role Diaz has taken on, well, ever.
The story follows an attorney (Michael Fassbender) who is in search of a big payday after he proposes to his girlfriend, Laura. So he hooks up with Reiner (Bardem), an acquaintance with deep criminal ties, for a new business proposition: they’ll take $20 million worth of cocaine from south of the border and offload it themselves, aided by the no-good Westray (Pitt). As you might imagine, things do not go well for anyone involved. In the script, Malkina is a hyper-sexualized Argentinean woman who’s hooked up with Reiner, and it’s pretty meaty part all around. But obviously, it has be tweaked to fit Diaz and like we said, she’s never really done anything like this ever, so it’s a ballsy move.

Yes, I heard rumors that Angelina was thinking about doing a glorified cameo as the fiance, not the hot-to-trot lady. So maybe Camy will end up with the meaty role and Angelina still might play Fassy?s fiance? Or we could just wait until the Cleopatra casting sorts itself out. CoughFassyIsMarcAntonycough. Anyway, it?s assumed that Jolie backed away from this potential commitment because filming Maleficent will probably take up her whole summer.
Speaking of Maleficent, The Hollywood Reporter has some interesting additions to the cast. Elle Fanning will be playing Aurora (the princess), Sharlto Copley will play ?the half-human, half-fairy bastard son of the human king? (WTF?). And Imelda Staunton (I love her) and Miranda Richardson have just joined the cast – they?ll be playing Knotgrass and Flittle ?two of the three pixies who end up taking care of Aurora.? Oh, and that young actor Sam Riley will be in it too. He?s in On the Road – he?s got that weird, haunting beauty – apparently he?s playing ?Diaval, a raven who changes into human form and is Maleficent?s right hand.?

Katherine Heigl stepped out in a gorgeous (by her standards) little white dress for a meeting yesterday in Los Angeles. While this outfit would probably not be notable on any number of other Hollywood actresses, I feel like we should applaud Katherine for making an effort to look stylish instead of falling back into her default fug mode both in candid shots and on the red carpet. This dress is really cute on her and flattering to the figure, right? Of course, that hair is still a total disaster (I think she should grow it out to shoulder length), but I’m just amazed that she didn’t screw up the dress with some fug booties. Because she loves her fug booties.
Maybe Katherine got a new stylist. She’s obviously been trying to work on her image lately, and looking good is one way to easily score some points. She’s still filming romcoms for now (her latest, The Wedding, is in post-production), but Katherine needs to watch it because she’s been stuck in some underperformers — One For the Money and New Year’s Eve — lately, and her days might be numbered. As shallow as it may seem, this dress is a good start to generating interest outside her ice-queen image.
Of course, Katherine went out to lunch with her mother after her meeting. Mom looks good too. They really seem inseperable, right? Maybe they’ll both end up signing on for Mother’s Day — which is looking to cast 11 more mother/daughter sets of actresses after signing on its first duo, Susan Sarandon and Eva Amurri Martino. Or maybe not.

Christina talks at 3:11 into this video. Adam and Christina start arguing around 4:15. At 4:45 Christina says “I motivated you,” which bolsters this story that “99 Problems” was aimed at her.
None of us are watching “The Voice,” so we all feel a little unqualified to talk too much about whatever is going on with that show. Apparently one of Adam Levine’s contestants, Tony Lucca, sang a rock version of Jay-Z’s “99 Problems” on Monday night’s show. After his performance, judge Christina Aguilera chastised him for singing a song that could be considered derogatory toward women, since it contained the word “bitch,” although NBC made sure the word was edited out before it aired. (Sidenote: bitch should not be a dirty word.) XTina said “Your beautiful wife and your daughter and family are here tonight, and I just thought, you know, the lyrical connotation was a little derogatory towards women, but all-in-all, it was good fun.” Then when Adam tried to explain that the song was about dealing with adversity, Christina spoke up that it was about problems with women and they got into an argument about it, with a lot of cross talking. (That happens at 4:15 in the video above.)
Christina has taken issue with Lucca, a fellow Mouseketeer alum, in the past. Apparently she sort-of knows him from when they both were child stars on The Mickey Mouse show, and Lucca has kept in touch with Justin Timberlake. So any beef she has with him may be somewhat personal for her.
According to Radar Online, Levine had Lucca sing that song as a message to Aguilera for giving Lucca a hard time. Aguilera supposedly was “highly offended” and blew up about it during rehearsals. Adam and Christina got in a big fight, with Adam calling Christina the c-word and Christina demanding Adam be fired. Radar’s source said:
“Adam went right up to Christina and said ?you?re the biggest f***ing c***. Obviously Christina was appalled and hissed that Adam should be fired. She?s sick of being treated this way.
“Christina is so sick of Adam being looked at as the golden boy of the show. If America knew how disgusting he was, they would be appalled, she always says.”
Anyway this feud is heating up between Christina and Adam Levine, which has been brewing for some time. Christina thinks Adam is trying to annoy her, and given her reaction it’s working. Here’s that story, thanks to Radar Online:

You can tell just from the clip of the show above that these two don’t get along. If Adam is deliberately provoking Aguilera, it’s obviously working like a charm. She’s getting her hackles up and responding to him, which is only egging him on. He’s doing it because it gets to her. Two divas trying to work together on a TV show are unable to get along. It’s not surprising.
US Weekly reports that Aguilera has apologized to Lucca for calling him out on Monday’s show. Lucca waxed poetic to US about what he learned from Christina’s criticism on the show. He said “Her criticism for the most part has inspired me and led me to a higher plane than I might not have found otherwise.”

Sofia has her own thing going in Hollywood, and she seems to be solely career-focused these days. Beyond the tabloids, I?ve always noticed that Sofia never seemed that engaged in a potential future with Nick either – she already has an adult son, and she never seemed to like the idea of starting another family, and I got the feeling that Loeb wanted to settle down and have a baby with Sofia. Nick and Sofia were last seen together several weeks ago, at the White House Correspondents Dinner. Sofia was at the Met Gala two nights ago solo.

The Colombian stunner and New York-based Loeb broke up over the weekend following a series of arguments, sources tell us. And, on Monday, she attended the Met Ball alone.
A source told us, ?Sofia was confiding in friends at the ball that she and Nick have split. They have been fighting a lot recently and have been on the brink of splitting many times. It is not yet clear if they are over for good, but they are done as a couple for now.?
The actress, who wore Marchesa to Monday night?s Metropolitan Museum of Art?s Costume Institute Gala, got ready at a New York City hotel rather than at Loeb?s apartment, and later attended an after-party at the Top of the Standard with friends.
Another source told us that Vergara and Loeb?s relationship stumbled under the pressure of her growing fame and popularity. Her success on ?Modern Family,? and as host of ?Saturday Night Live? ? as well as her obvious sex appeal ? has turned her into one of TV?s biggest female stars.
The couple met at a Golden Globes party in 2010. Vergara said in January that Loeb enjoys red-carpet events. ?He loves my career,? said Vergara. ?He likes coming to these events. For him, it?s like a hobby to be part of this Hollywood scene.?
But Loeb, who considered running for the Florida state senate last year, is the son of John Loeb Jr., who served President Reagan as ambassador to Denmark. He is the grandson of one of the Lehman brothers and was a partner in his family?s stock brokerage firm.
Other sources say Vergara and Loeb had been on the rocks for some time. Last month, the saucy sex symbol was seen with Loeb at an Upper East Side restaurant, where, ?She looked miserable,? sources said. ?Sofia looked beautiful, but she did not seem happy with him at all.?

The LA premiere of Dark Shadows went down two nights ago, but we missed covering the photos from the event yesterday (because of the Met Gala). So? even though these pics are kind of late, I hope you enjoy them. Because I?m seeing a lot of gossip-potential and gossip story lines here. First up, Johnny Depp. When I first glanced through the pics, I thought for sure that I was looking at Johnny?s wax figure. Right? His face looks really different/weird to me. Oddly smooth. I?m not screaming ?BOTOX!? but it wouldn?t surprise me to learn that Depp has had a little something done. Maybe a chemical peel? Some kind of laser treatment? He?s also gotten a tan – he?s been working out in sun, I think, on The Lone Ranger. Other than that? this is the face of a mid-life crisis.
Next up: Eva Green! I still believe the rumors that Johnny and Eva might have had an affair while filming Dark Shadows, and that they might still be engaged in a little something. Eva and Johnny took pains not to pose together. Eva looks kind of crazy, but I think that?s her ?look.? She actually IS crazy/beautiful.
Here?s Bella Heathcote. That name may sound familiar to you. Not only is she in Dark Shadows, but she was also had a part in a Brad Pitt film, which shot last year. The tabloids tried to make it sound like Bella and Brad had an affair – go here to read the old story. She does look a little bit like Angelina. I?d like to see what she looks like without those damn bangs.
Chloe Moretz? she?s a pretty girl. I like that she?s covered up on top.
I?m pretty sure Michelle Pfeiffer is a vampire. For real.
I apologize to all of you who don?t understand my Jonny Lee Miller obsession, but good GOD I love this man. He?s so sexy (to me).

Last night was the premiere of What to Expect when You’re Expecting, that ensemble clip show romcom that looks really cringe worthy. I doubt it will be a big success at the box office, but I could be wrong. It could be a mommy daddy date night movie, which it was probably pitched as. Battleship and The Dictator are also out next weekend, and Avengers will probably still be holding on strong, so we’ll see.
So here we have some of the main stars of the film, minus Jennifer Lopez. Why was J.Lo not there last night? Was there some last minute drama with Casper forgetting to take his ADHD medication? I’m really surprised that she wasn’t around, trying to work an inappropriately small dress with a cutout around the waist and styled to the hilt like she’s in one of her music videos. She’s done a lot of press for the film so it’s bizarre to me that she didn’t go to the premiere.
Instead we have Cameron Diaz, dressed way down in a open comfortable-looking white top and loose black pants. She looks like she’s wearing a waitress uniform at a decent restaurant. This is one of those nice-looking casual outfits you throw together for a night out and then realize that you’re dressed exactly like the wait staff, so you try to hold it in and not get up to go to the bathroom. It’s a perfectly nice outfit for a night out with friends, but I don’t think it’s fitting for a premiere. She could have chosen one of those tight short dresses that show off her killer legs.
Cam recently talked to Access Hollywood about growing older and how she thinks it’s cool. Unlike some other actresses I won’t name, it doesn’t sound like she’s blowing smoke. Kristen?s Met Gala look was one of the most talked-about fashion moments of the night? which I think is kind of undeserved. She?s lightened it a bit, and she?s letting her natural curl come out. It looks awesome.

Well? I mean, Anna allowing Kim to come to the Met Gala doesn?t automatically mean Kim would get a Vogue cover. I would be pissed off if Kim was on Vogue too, but I don?t think I would have been angry if Kim was at the Met Gala. It?s a fun event full of try-hard famewhores – Kim would have been in her element, especially if she came on Kanye?s arm. Incidentally, there was a rumor that Lindsay Lohan was trying to score an invite to the Met Gala – and I for one am glad that Wintour managed to shut that down. Reps for neither Pitt nor the perfume house have commented on the new partnership, but a source tells E! News that the actor will be shooting his first perfume ad in London sometime this week (the superstar family has set up their most recent homestead in the UK).
And for his endorsement troubles, Pitt will be bringing home some serious bacon for the Jolie-Pitt clan, with his paycheck for the spot somewhere in the seven-figures. The Chanel No. 5 ad will be released overseas sometime later this year. Makes scents to us.

In career news, the 36-year-old actress is now taking on a new acting role in David Talbert's film, "Baggage Claim."
According to Deadline, the film has been in the works for quite some time and apparently got the green light by FOX Searchlight. The new flick is based off of Talbert's 2005 book about a single flight attendant (Patton) who jets around the country in search of a husband.
