Making the most of her time in the boot-shaped land of Italy, Emma Stone showed up at the premiere of her new flick ?Birdman? on Wednesday (August 27).
The ?Amazing Spider-Man 2? stunner was gorgeous in a textured black top with monochrome trousers and white heels as she joined costars Michael Keaton, Amy Ryan, Edward Norton and Andrea Riseborough as part of the 71st Venice Film Festival.
Per the synopsis, ?Birdman? is the story of ?a washed-up actor who once played an iconic superhero and must overcome his ego and family trouble as he mounts a Broadway play in a bid to reclaim his past glory.

Always smiling, the ?Can?t Fight the Moonlight? singer donned a high-low tank top with white shorts and a fringed Chanel handbag as she exited the establishment.
LeAnn and her husband Eddie Cibrian recently paid a visit to ?In Bed with Joan,? and host Joan Rivers asked Rimes when she lost her virginity.
?I was in Monte Carlo? I was 16? It was my boyfriend? I think I raped him. I think that?s how it happened,? she replied.
And while LeAnn and Eddie still haven?t gotten pregnant, it might not be long before the stork pays them a visit.
Cibrian previously shared, ?I know I do want to have a child with LeAnn. And if this is a decision we have to make right now because of her fertility, then I say we should just do it.?
?I knew my mom had difficulty having me, but I never really knew how difficult it was. Eddie and I have talked about waiting a little bit longer before we try to have kids,? added Rimes.

Over the past few years, it feels like celebrities have really had to go the extra mile to hustle for their side projects and beauty/perfume/modeling contracts. At some point, the celebrity-interview-as-infomercial went majorly mainstream. Some celebrities even get major fashion magazine covers just to promote their side projects nowadays. It?s so weird. But I?m not complaining, because more often than not, the hustler interviews are better than the film-promotion interviews. Anyway, Charlize Theron has a new interview with WWD, promoting her Dior contract (she is the face of J?adore). You can read the full piece here and here are some highlights:
Charlize on maturing womanhood: ?I think that women find their strength and power in their sexuality, in their sensuality within, [through] getting older and being secure within that. It?s ironic that we?ve built the beauty world around 20-year-olds, when they have no f–kin? concept about wisdom, what life is about, having a few relationships below [their] belt and feeling hardships, to grow into [their] skin and feel confident within [themselves] and to feel the value of who [they] are, not because of a man or because of something like that. And I think that?s such a beautiful thing. And that?s why I think people say women come into their prime in their 40s. And then for some reason our society just wants to go?it?s like a dead flower? It?s like we wilt for some reason. And men are like fine wines ? the older they get, the better they get. It?s such a misconception, and it?s such a lost opportunity because that?s when I think women are really in the true moment of their sensuality.?
On her closet, how she sees fashion: ?[Mine] is a really nice closet. But by considered standards of other closets that I have seen, I think [mine is pretty minute]. I have seen images of people?s closets that are like homes, and I literally wonder if you wear every day something different, [whether] you still [would] be able to wear all of that stuff in one lifetime. And that concept bothers me. I?m incredibly lucky, people are very generous and sending me stuff. I never take that for granted, but I?m always very aware that I?m one person and I can?t wear everything. The idea of stuff just hanging in my closet and not being used ? there?s a little bit of the African in me that gets bothered by that [somewhat]. My whole concept in life is if you?re not using it, you should give it to somebody else so they can use it.?
Keeping current politically: ?I really love having an awareness. I don?t want to live in a world with blinders on. I don?t want to live in a world where I just kind of play on my navet ? well if I don?t know it, then it doesn?t exist. I was raised in a country [South Africa] with a lot of political turmoil. I was part of a culture and a generation that suppressed people and lived under apartheid regimes. I don?t know how you can come out of that and not have an awareness for the world. I think that if my life had turned out any other way and I was working in a bank, I would still feel this way about it, because there?s a connection to humanity that to me is really important? I make a real effort to try and live in the real world and not just the dream world.
How her son changed her life: ?The time management of it definitely comes into play. I?m very lucky right now that he is at an age where he can travel with me. He?s not in a structured school, but that?s going to change. Eventually, he?s going be in proper school, he?s going need structure and I will have to manage my time better. I look forward to that. I?m excited for that?. I want him to grow up with a mom that he could see and look at her life with all the mistakes and with all the failures and all the flaws and say, ?My mom lived an authentic life. That was the life she wanted to live.?

She talks a lot about her son and motherhood and how she?s not going to take on touchy-feely movies just because she?s a mom and she?s still dark and hardcore. Which is probably true. She can be a mom and still be the baddest bitch out there. That didn?t bug me. What bugs me is that Charlize sees herself as an authentic person connected to the issues of the world and yet this is the same woman who compared gossip about her personal life to RAPE.

When Miley Cyrus won Best Video at the VMAs, her mysterious date accepted her award “on behalf of the 1.6 million runaways and homeless youth” on the streets of LA. This young man, only known as “Jesse,” revealed his homeless plight to the world. He directed people to Miley’s Facebook page where she talks about her new mission for My Friend’s Place.
For once, Miley was using her platform for good instead of #twerk. Jesse also happened to be highly photogenic, so he attracted a lot of attention even before his speech. People were curious about Jesse and his history. The media started to dig, and it didn’t take long before dirt surfaced. Jesse has a criminal record and a warrant out for his arrest:
Days after he appeared on national television, news surfaced that Helt is currently wanted in the state of Oregon.
According to the Polk County Circuit Court, Helt was arrested back in October 2010 for attempted burglary and criminal mischief in the third degree. He was convicted of criminal trespassing in the first degree and sentenced to one year of supervised probation, 88 hours of community service and ordered to complete and adjust class. Additionally, Helt was charged $572 in fines and $186 in restitution.
Helt was also charged with criminal mischief in the third degree and sentenced to 30 days in jail.
The following year, Helt was ordered back to court three times for failing to report to his probation officer, failing to submit urine sample, using controlled substances and neglecting to follow through on the terms of his probation. Helt had returned to court twice in April and August 2011, and was able to continue his probation. When a third motion to revoke his probation was filed in November 2011, Helt did not return to court. Today, a warrant is still active for his arrest.
Public records indicate that Helt — who received his GED from Salem, Oregon?s Chemeketa Community College — moved to Los Angeles in early 2013. Helt?s mother, Linda Helt, told The Oregonian that her son was looking to “make it on his own” in California. He was homeless at that time, she confirmed.
Linda Helt also revealed that Cyrus had given her 22-year-old son money to travel home to visit family after the VMAs. “He’s going to be traveling to Oregon today,” she said on Monday. Of meeting Cyrus, Linda Helt said “He was at the right place at the right time… He needs to be blessed.”

After cracking her way through the Hamptons and Manhattan for several weeks, Lindsay Lohan is back in London. These are photos of LL outside the Chiltern Firehouse on August 23rd. We just didn?t get around to publishing them until now, because the VMAs and Emmys are way more important than Lindsay being a loser. When the Cracken is in New York, all of the New York papers and gossips are primed to feed us gossip about her crack shenanigans, but that?s rarely the case in London. I wonder if she?s still the same cracked-out mess at the Chiltern Firehouse as she is in, say, 1Oak. Probably. It?s just the London crowd is slightly more discreet.
I guess she returned to London to live with her shady ?investment banker? boyfriend, the one with children. And she?s probably ?rehearsing? Speed-the-Plow too. It?s going to get worse before it gets better, you know? The play doesn?t go on for another four weeks or so.
Meanwhile, remember how Lindsay filed one of her cracked-out lawsuits against the makers of Grand Theft Auto? She sued them because of the character ?Lacey Jonas,? which LL thinks is based on her alone. Well, the GFA makers want the lawsuit thrown out of court (I would have said ?laughed out of court? but in reality it?s probably ?cracked out of court?) and they want the Cracken to be FINED. Oh, this will get good!
The makers of the popular video game Grand Theft Auto V not only want a Manhattan judge to toss Lindsay Lohan?s lawsuit against them, they want her fined for even bringing it. The ?Mean Girls?? actress sued manufacturer Take-Two Interactive last month, saying it used her image for character Lacey Jonas without her permission.
But Take-Two says the only physical similarity between Lindsay and Lacey is that they?re both young blondes. While Lohan also said the five-minute scene involving Jonas mirrors her life, Take-Two snips, ?The portrayal of a Hollywood figure being chased by paparazzi, of course, is hardly unique to Ms. Lohan. She also alleges that Grand Theft Auto V features a hotel similar to the Hotel Chateau Marmont of West Hollywood, where she once resided,? the game-maker says. ?This allegation underscores the thinness of Ms. Lohan?s claims: GTAV is a parody of Los Angeles, so it is unsurprising that it features similar buildings.?
Lohan should have known better than to file the suit because a similar one she filed against rapper Pitbull, claiming he improperly used her arrest in song lyrics, was tossed, Take-Two argues in its demand for sanctions.
?The complaint is a bad-faith filing and abuse of the court system and should be dismissed,? Take-Two huffs.
Lohan?s lawyer did not return a message seeking comment.

Yep. I hope it does get thrown out of court and I hope Lindsay is fined. She can?t continue this way, suing companies every time they make a reference to a cracked-out ?blonde.? And she?s just doing it in the hopes that the companies will throw her some money to get her to go away. I love that Rock Star Entertainment is like, ?We?ll fight this in court!!?

The ?Always Be My Baby? songstress showed some cleavage as she greeted the paparazzi and tried to avoid answering questions about her divorce.
Separated since May, Mariah and Nick have been pretty quiet about the whole ordeal, and one source told TMZ that it?s all in an effort to shield their twins Moroccan and Monroe from unnecessary drama.
"The couple is trying hard to make the divorce as easy as possible on the kids. But let's just say one side tells us they will NEVER get back together."

Yay, Jennifer Aniston is promoting something. She?s actually going to be promoting several films over the next few months. She?s got Life of Crime coming out, plus Cake, Horrible Bosses 2 (that?s out in November) and She?s Funny That Way (I don?t know when that comes out). So, Jennifer sat down for her first TV interview of the autumn movie season. Carson Daly interviewed her for Today. Jennifer talked about feminism, the interest in her personal life (major eyeroll on her reaction to that one), her Friends past and more. Some highlights:
Feminism: “I don’t have this sort of checklist of things that have to be done, and ? if they’re not checked, then I’ve failed some part of my feminism or my being a woman or my worth and my value as a woman.”
On taking darker film roles, like her new on in “Life of Crime”: “I’m having a lot of fun, because I’ve been branching out and having fun playing different characters and hiding and going into ? you know, some darker stuff. So I’m excited about it.
On her post-”Friends” career: “I kind of feel very grateful to my evolution and my history ? I would never exchange it for anything.”

I?m including the video below. I don?t really have a problem with the substance of her answers on feminism and her worth as a woman, but taken in context of who she is and her history of playing certain aspects of her personal life out in media, I do think she?s full of it. If you don?t want society to define your worth by whom you marry and whether you?re having babies, fine. More power to you. But don?t build your whole image and public persona on whom you married (and divorced) and whether you?re going to have babies.

Satan?s human form, Chelsea Handler, has officially retired from her E! show, Chelsea Lately. Unfortunately for all, she?s going over to Netflix where she will reportedly be doing a similar kind of celebrities & gossip show, only for less money (apparently and fewer viewers). So, a demotion? That?s what I think, but other people act like Chelsea is finally moving into the big leagues, so what do I know? I?m just happy that she?s not going to be on a cable outlet anymore and that she didn?t get any of the open late-night gigs on network TV.
So, to send Chelsea off, all of her friends (?friends?) came out to celebrate her on her last show. Here?s one part where Mary Mccormack, Jennifer Aniston and Sandra Bullock do an ?intervention? for Chelsea. Who is the most Botoxed one in this segment?
Eh. I stopped watching halfway through Aniston?s thing.
And here?s Chelsea?s star-studded send-off. Avril?! Avril singing about Chelsea pretending to care about Kim and Kanye is pretty meta. RLY AVRIL?! And LeAnn is there too.
Oh, well. Good riddance, Chelsea.
PS? I don?t think any of us even talked about Chelsea?s awkwardness at the VMAs, right? I wanted to ignore it, but here you go. She thanked Taylor Swift for ?being so white?. Ugh.

Here are some photos of Kim Kardashian and North West at the Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills two days ago. This was Kim?s morning-after appearance after the VMAs (where she looked like a drowsy hooker). There?s a lot to unpack in these photos, so settle in. First, let?s talk about Kim?s look. I usually like her in white, surprisingly enough. I prefer her when she does monochromatic looks too. And the idea of a professional-type cream pencil skirt and matching sweater was a good idea. But the execution is awful. The sweater is cropped and Kim?s ?size 4? is spilling out all over the place. I?m pretty sure we?re seeing her body pouring out of her Spanx.
As for North? that little girl is adorable. She really is beautiful. I just wish Kim wasn?t already messing with North?s hair! Just let the little girl have regular hair with no product, for the love of God. And the photo of North giving some dude a high five? Awesome. North already has more personality than both of her parents combined. Also: North?s little fringed moccasins are amazing.
In other Kardashian news, Kim is going to appear on an episode of 2 Broke Girls. She?ll be playing herself and apparently the episode will feature Kim wanting to film Keeping Up with the Kardashians at the cupcake shop. Last season, Lindsay Lohan did a guest spot too. Personally, I would rather see Kim crop up in a TV show rather than the Cracken. At least Kim will be on time and have a modicum of professionalism.
And Radar is still trying to make a war between Kim and Beyonce happen. Maybe Kim and Kanye are really and truly pissed at Bey and Jay, but I?m not sure I believe Radar?s take on this situation. A source tells Radar that at the VMAs, there ?was absolutely no love lost between Kim and Beyonce?Kim blames Beyonce for Jay Z skipping their wedding.? Kim also thinks Beyonce ?has always been very arrogant and aloof around her. Kim always made a real effort to get to know her and Jay, but she was always left with a very cold feeling.? When Bey and Jay skipped their wedding, Kim unloaded all of her Bey-hatred on Kanye and he agreed or something. So now the two couples are at war. Or whatever.

These are photos of Paula Patton attending a post-Emmys gathering on Monday night. These photos are noteworthy because this is the first time our agencies have papped Paula since Oscar weekend in late February. So it’s been six months. Six months since Paula finally had enough of Robin embarrassing her by groping random blondes. In February, Paula formally separated from her douchey husband after nine years of marriage.
Nine years is a long time. Even longer? Paula and Robin dated for twelve years before tying the knot. That’s two full decades of douche. No wonder it took Paula so long to walk away from her womanizing ex. She was strong though. Paula went into hiding and let Robin make a total fool out of himself. I didn’t realize Paula had such restraint. After all, she faked those happy red-carpet smiles for several months after Robin’s alleged infidelities surfaced.
Paula is smiling in these photos. I hope she’s genuinely happy and not simply faking it for the paps. Robin finally gave up on stalking her a month ago. What I’d really like to talk about is this dress. This dress looks like errant venetian blinds. It barely covers Paula’s bits and pieces. I can’t tell if this is the dress of a newly single, victorious woman. It can’t be a “Look at what you’re missing, douchebag” dress. Right?

Even though Sunday’s VMAs were eclipsed by Monday’s Emmys, some little bits of news are still coming out. Nothing major happened at this year’s VMAs (because everything in the future will be measured against Miley’s 2013 twerk) unless one consider’s Nicki Minaj’s “Anaconda” and wardrobe malfunction. None of Nicki’s bits and pieces fell out, but she looked like she was struggling valiantly to conceal her “modesty.” Well as much as one can be modest after posting her own booty on Instagram.
Nicki is almost always full of drama, so it wouldn’t surprise me at all if she cooked up her sartorial malfunctions on purpose. TMZ claims to have insider information about how Nicki “rehearsed” her wardrobe problems in advance of the show. Hmm:
Nicki Minaj CLAIMS her dress was unzipped during her performance at the VMAs because she didn’t have enough time to get ready … but that’s BS — she pulled the same stunt during rehearsals.
Eyewitnesses who watched Nicki’s rehearsal Sunday morning tell TMZ … she walked on stage wearing the same dress — unzipped. One eyewitness says it caught her eye because she initially thought Nicki had come out in a robe.
We’re told Nicki was wrapping her arms around the dress in a “weird” sort of way … trying to manipulate it to see how much would be exposed.
And we’re told … the VMAs created a make-shift dressing room right off stage — draped with black sheets — so she would have enough time to change.
Whatever, it worked … everyone’s talking about it.

Is this shocking at all? Not really. Drama, baby. Nicki loves the drama, but “no shade” intended. What was more surprising is that Nicki’s performance was a complete mess. Lainey says the problems all started when Casper Smart was hired as choreographer. LOL. Never mind the stories of the backup dancer being bitten by a snake during rehearsals. Never mind Nicki trying to hold her zipper together. Here comes Casper Smart, overshadowing everything once again.
