Alessandra has been all over the western hemisphere as of late, having spent time at Sao Paulo, Brazil?s Fashion Week earlier this week.
Ms. Ambrosio also paid a visit to New York City following the onslaught of Hurricane Sandy to check on her Big Apple peeps.

The 45-year-old actress rocked a peach ensemble as she and her posse headed to Melbourne to attend Derby Day.
According to reports, the ?Eyes Wide Shut? beauty is expected to walk the red carpet at Flemington during the event as part of her duties as global ambassador for an Australian multi-vitamin company.
After attending the event, Miss Kidman is scheduled to head back to France and continue filming scenes for ?Grace of Monaco.?

But according to Us Weekly, they?ve known each other for seven years, and they?ve probably been fooling around all that time. Us Weekly claims that following Ashley?s split from Reeve Carney, she?s been hitting up her ex/friend-with-benefits for a while now:
Ashley Greene is on the rebound: she just split with her beau of 10 months, Reeve Carney, in August and she?s been cozying up to CW star Chace Crawford. The two were spotted smooching at the Gossip Girl wrap party in NYC, at the club Tenjune on October 20.
?They hook up whenever she?s in New York,? says a source. Their history dates back to Crawford?s days at Pepperdine University in Malibu, when he met Greene, then an aspiring actress in LA.
?They?ve known each other for seven years,? says an insider of the duo. Notes a pal of Crawford, ?I don?t think they?ll get together for real. They keep it casual.?

Here are some new photos of Kristen Stewart yesterday in LA. She made an appearance at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association to announce this year?s Cecil B. DeMille Award, which (obviously) they announce ahead of time before the Golden Globes in January. This year?s winner is Jodie Foster, a woman many would say is Kristen?s Hollywood role model. Jodie recently defended Kristen against the rage of the Twihards in an essay that went over like a lead balloon. Anyway, Kristen wore a cute little grey Bec & Bridge shift dress and Burberry wedges for the event. WEDGES! I can?t believe she didn?t wear her ?dress Chucks? for the occasion. The dress is nice, though. I could do without the itty-bitty thigh slit, but otherwise it?s fine.
More Twihard news? as I mentioned in yesterday?s links, Robert Pattinson and Kristen went out and partied together for Halloween. They both wore masks and held hands and partied at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery at a party hosted by Maroon 5, which is probably the douchiest sentence I?ve ever written. According to People Magazine?s source, ?They snuck in the back of the party and were wearing normal clothes, but grabbed masks from a photo booth and put them on [seemingly] so people wouldn’t recognize them. They were holding hands, and at one point, he put his arm around her. She [didn't seem] as affectionate towards him.? Another insider noted: ?They shared drinks with friends at the party and were in a good mood. Rob was all over Kristen, while she seemed a bit more reserved.” YIKES. Maybe Rob does need to turn in his Man Card, right? I would think that he was the more reserved one, but no. Rob was all over his cheater girlfriend and she was all ?Yeah, I AM kind of over this, I wonder what Rupert is doing tonight??
Meanwhile, Us Weekly/Hollywood Life claims that at that LACMA Art + Film Gala last weekend, Cameron Diaz was making a cougar-y play for Rob. A source said Cameron ?was pretty obvious. Cam was seated next to Rob at dinner. She was touching him arm, doing her big Cameron laugh at everything he said and trying really hard. He was polite, but not having it.? That?s not really ?proof? that Rob will always be with Kristen, it?s just evidence that Cameron Diaz needs to stop trying to be hot, flirty, young party girl.
Last story ? Hollywood Life claims Kristen gave up cigarettes for Rob. A source says, ?She has been trying to be as supportive as she can of Rob?s decision to quit. Kristen and Rob used to smoke cigarettes together all the time but they know how crappy it made them feel. Kristen doesn?t like smoking that electronic cigarette, so she just all together quit.? They spent Halloween together, going on a double date with Scott Disick and Kourtney and then doing couples-costumes for Halloween night ? she was Catwoman, he was Batman. The pics of Kim is jeans and a camisole are from yesterday in Miami ? I think she looks prettier when she looks like this, more low-key.
Anyway, Kim and Kanye probably aren?t going to be breaking up anytime soon, which actually makes me happy. All of the Kardashian women made this week?s cover of Us Weekly, and it?s all about ?the lies? told about them. Kourtney basically says Scott is a good guy and a great dad, etc. Khloe says she and Lamar are fine and there?s no drama. And the story about Kim is all about how she?s still ?technically married? but she thinks she and Kanye will end up getting married and having babies. The relevant part:
?Kim thinks they?ll get engaged and try for a baby once the divorce is final,? says a confidant. ?Kanye is actually being very patient.?
Kanye wasn?t sure he wanted kids ?until he got together with Kim? he?s so good with Mason and Penelope Disick, and he?s such a kid himself and he loves to play with them.?
But? ?After the backlash from ending her 72-day marriage with Kris, Kim would never get engaged until everything was properly handled. There are no wedding plans, period. She and Kanye are taking their time. That?s the truth.?

I could see that. In Kim?s mind, she thinks she and Kanye will be together and she?s already making mental plans for the future, but she and Kanye haven?t gotten engaged or anything. But, as many of you have pointed out, it?s not like Kim is Miss Manners or something ? I don?t really understand why Kim feels like she has to ?wait? until she?s formally divorced from Kris Humphries to start making plans with Kanye.

These are photos from a few months ago of the premiere of The Company You Keep at the Venice film festival. They’re not really noteworthy except to say that Shia looks gross (as he always does these days) and that he’s obviously thrilled to be hanging on the arm of Robert “Bob” Redford, who apparently feels the same way and will let Shia get away with bar fighting and then welcome him on set with open arms the next day. If I were Shia, I’d make sure I didn’t screw up this professional relationship with “Bob” because it turns out that Steven Spielberg has finally had enough of Shia’s crap.
It turns out that Spielberg has been quietly resenting how Shia publicly rambled on about Spielberg “dropping the ball” in regards to Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Of course, Shia had already decided by that time that he was going to go on to rule the world of indie film, so (during the promotion for Lawless) he progressed into ranting about how studios “stick a finger up your ass,” and he claimed to be totally done with blockbusters. Then Shia took a shot at Transformers by saying, “I would just like to make movies about people now,” and “If I could give the money back and get all the credibility in the world that I?m seeking, I would do it tomorrow.” Well of course Shia didn’t mean a damn word of what he was spewing because he’s apparently on board for the fourth Transformers movie, and he’s demanded an $18 million salary as if the franchise should be grateful to have him. In an interesting twist and according to Star, Spielberg has apparently told Shia to stuff it. No raise for him, and if he doesn’t like it, get lost:
Just kidding! Shia Labeouf is backtracking on his vow to stop making blockbusters. Despite his repeatedly bac-mouthing the Transformers franchise, he is on board for the next flick, Star has learned. Not only that, he wants a $3 million raise from the $15 million paycheck he received for Transformers: Dark of the Moon. But his lips may have cost him!
“It wasn’t lost on producer Steven Spielberg how well The Amazing Spider-Man didwithout Tobey Maguire,” reveals the source. “Besides, special effects are th real star of Transformers. And Steven isn’t about to divert CGI funds to please Shia — he’ll find another actor.
But the 26–year-old is dissing his studio bosses and demanding more money. “Shia complains about the lack of a script but talks like being in the movie is a foregone conclusion.” With all this flip-flopping, maybe he should run for public office!

Shia is so deluded if he thinks he’s indispensible to Hollywood. While it’s true that he should have been thrown out on his ear a few years ago, he ended up outlasting the likes of Megan Fox (who also said some really stupid things, but nothing worse than Shia) because he’s “one of the guys.” Eventually, he’ll get his due, but first, he’ll make us watch him have actual sex first. Gross.

I was hoping that LeAnn Rimes would be at last night’s CMA Awards, but… she wasn’t? I can’t find any photos of her, and no one is mentioning LeAnn in their coverage of the CMAs, so I guess she wasn’t there. Too bad! So enjoy these photos of LeAnn from a week ago in NYC that I never got around to publishing.
The only thing shocking about this Star Magazine story about LeAnn is that someone should have written it a month ago, and there should have been some kind of significant follow-up from some legit entertainment outlets. In September, LeAnn announced that she was entering a ?mental health treatment facility? to deal with her ?stress and anxiety issues?. Fair enough ? I don?t think anyone is really going to argue with the idea that LeAnn does NOT have some mental health issues, although we can quibble about the exact nature. The problem was that LeAnn claimed that she was seeking a 30-day treatment? but that she would be taking the weekends ?off? from treatment to fulfill some tour dates. And then she kept giving all of these woe-is-me interviews to People and other outlets while she was supposedly seeking treatment, and then BAM, she was out of the ?mental health facility? a few weeks earlier than scheduled. So what was it all about?
Alcohol? Drugs? An eating disorder? LeAnn Rimes didn?t cite any of the usual Hollywood reasons for why she entered a 30-day treatment facility. That has lit up the rumor mill on the Internet, with some suggesting that the singer invented the entire thing as a twisted publicity stunt to garner public sympathy. While her reps strongly deny that?s the case, there is little evidence she ever went anywhere.
LeAnn has endured years of bad press, thanks to her affair with then married Eddie Cibrian, followed by a very public feud with his ex-wife, Brandi Glanville, and frequent tirades against Twitter users. And her career hasn?t? fared much better.
?She barely gets invited to anything anymore ? not even the CMAs!? says an industry insider. ?The country world disowned her, then her label dropped her.?
Instead of writing new songs, some are whispering LeAnn chose rehab as the easiest way to revive her career, believing that people would take her side out of pity.
?She says she?s a victim, but a victim of what?? snipes the source. Still, LeAnn maintains that her issues are real.

When Katie Couric interviewed LeAnn, it became clear that Couric had no real desire to try to pin LeAnn down on the details of this alleged mental health treatment, but I would have loved to see someone ? ANYONE ? ask LeAnn the direct questions: ?Which mental health facility did you enter? Why did you say you were going for 30 days, yet you were done in less than 3 weeks, with weekends off? What kind of treatment did you receive?? And before you say that it?s none of my business? yeah, LeAnn has made it pretty clear that it is our business. She?s been on a ?post-treatment? publicity binge and openly discussing her epic mental health problems because she wants us all to see her a victim. But she’s not providing any details because they don’t seem to back up her story.

These are photos of Taylor Swift at last night?s CMA Awards in Nashville. She?s wearing a Jenny Packham gown? I don?t hate it. It looks very ?Taylor Swift? ? glittery and feminine and sweet. It?s okay. I dislike her hair, but I?ve gotten used to it. As for Swifty?s appearance at yet another country show? yeah. I don?t think Swifty is very ?country? at this point either, but she still has the acceptance of the country community, and she still gets nominated for lots and lots of country awards. Oddly enough, Swifty did not win anything last night. Weird, right? Swifty always wins! Well, she didn?t take anything home but she still wins at life ? her new album, Red, is breaking crazy records already. In the first week of sales, Red has already sold 1.2 million copies, the largest first-week sales of any album since 2002.
Meanwhile, this week?s Enquirer had a lengthy story about Taylor?s breakup with Conor Kennedy. According to the Enquirer?s sources, Swifty definitely dumped him and Conor is ?just devastated.? Taylor decided to put her career ahead of love, a choice which is something she never sings about. A source says:
?She?s making it appear like Conor did the dumping because she didn?t want to come out looking like the villain. But the bottom line is the poor kid is heartsick over the breakup. He believed they were headed to the altar. He?s still reeling from the suicide of his mom Mary in May and the Kennedys are very concerned his broken heart will take a long time to heal.?
?Although Ethel and Rory Kennedy had embraced Taylor, she didn?t like the conflict with Maria Shriver, Carolin Kennedy and some other members of the family. It was ruining her goody-goody image and became another reason she wanted out of the relationship.?
?Taylor took advantage of Conor at a time when he was most vulnerable. Not that they?ve broken up, Conor is a wreck. He?s trying to forget about Taylor. Meanwhile, she?s already put him out of her mind and is concentrating on selling her latest record.?

I do think this scenario might be more likely, although Star Magazine?s version claims the exact opposite. Star says Conor dumped Taylor because he finally found out that she was fooling around with Patrick Schwarzenegger, Conor?s cousin. Eh. I think the Enquirer?s story is probably the more reasonable explanation.

Here are some of the fashion photos from last night?s CMA Awards in Nashville. I only watched a few minutes of the live broadcast last night, during commercial breaks of the Rachel Maddow Show (What? Maddow is my Forever Biscuit!). You can see the list of winners and losers here ? from what I gather, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert had a big night, and it increasingly feels like they?re the ?First Couple of Country Music? ? a title which used to belong to Faith Hill and Tim McGraw. Little Big Town, Toby Keith, Kenny Chesney and several other acts walked away with big prizes too.
Miranda Lambert wore Maria Lucia Hohan? I don?t like it. At all. She?s a short girl with curves, but she dresses like she?s a tall girl with no curves. I don?t get it. This dress makes her look stumpy, and I don?t think it?s the right color for her either.
Colbie Caillat looks fantastic. Great black dress, totally wearable. Miranda Lambert might want to try this style.
Here?s Carrie Underwood, who was the co-host of the show (with Brad Paisley). She wore Reem Acra, and it looked like the same kind of pageant dress she always wears. Maybe it?s Carrie who makes all of these dresses look like pageant-wear.
Hayden Panettiere in Georges Chakra Couture. Hayden was there because of cross-promotion for her show Nashville. Connie Britton was there too, we just don?t have those pics. Anyway? I think Hayden looks cute. Kind of a Jazz Age throwback vibe.
Here?s Kellie Pickler in a Pamella Roland. The dress is flattering and Kellie has a great figure. Her hair looks like that because she shaved her head a few months ago in solidarity with a friend who has breast cancer, which is a really sweet and lovely thing to do. Her hair?s in kind of an awkward stage right now, but it?s sort of cute too.

Kaiser and I were emailing about this, and she posed the question of whether some of Amanda’s recent issues (staying for hours in a hair salon, locking herself in various bathrooms and dressing rooms) were somewhat of a put on. Crazy Days and Nights floated this theory a few weeks back. We both agree that she has serious mental issues regardless, and I thought that this was further evidence of that, until I read the details. It sounds more like a “look at me” stunt, but with Amanda it’s hard to tell. She apparently walked buck naked out of a spray tan session in search of some goggles, going up to the receptionist’s desk without a stitch on. I’ve lived places where this would be perfectly acceptable, but Amanda knows it’s something that will get people talking here in the states. Here’s the story, thanks to In Touch:
After purchasing a Mystic spray-tan session, the 26-year-old was set up in a private room ? but it wasn?t long before Amanda strode back out into the main salon area in search of goggles.
Only problem: She wasn?t wearing any clothes! ?She walked out of the room completely naked,? the eyewitness tells In Touch. ?She didn?t seem to care that everyone saw her naked.?
?She seemed totally out of it,? the eyewitness says. ?She took her time walking back to the Mystic room, dragging her fingers along the wall and smiling at customers who passed her.”
The eyewitness adds: ?There was definitely something wrong with her.?

If Amanda was sitting in the lobby nekkid for a couple of hours, just applying her makeup, I would say it was a definite mental health issue, but this is something else. This suggests she knew what she was doing, but again who knows? Amanda has done a lot of things that suggest she’s troubled. At least she’s still doing “ok” somewhat, for her. I mean she’s not driving anymore and she seems to be keeping busy, what with the spray tans and the shopping. I wonder if her fashion career is going to take off at all, and if she actually is moving forward with those plans.
In response to this story, Amanda told US Weekly that it was untrue and that they should leave her along because she’s rich or something. She said “I’m not ‘troubled.’ I don’t get naked in public. I’m 26, a multi-millionaire, retired. Please respect my privacy.” So we shouldn’t talk about her because she’s retired and has piles of cash in the bank? That makes no sense. At least she’s ok after Hurricane Sandy. It must be rough in New York, even if you’re uptown.

It really seemed like Wilmer, for once, was acting like a gentleman and merely escorting Eva to her car, and she seems to appreciate the moral support. However, there is reason to believe that Wilmer — who may very well have been quite upset at Lupe’s departure from this world — may also have been harboring his usual ulterior motive of trying to get into the pants of the female of nearest proximity.
According to Wilmer’s pattern of behavior, he can usually tell when a woman is vulnerable for whatever reason, and this perverted sixth sense of sorts has allowed him to prey on newly single females with astounding success. His past conquests include not only Demi Lovato (and I still don’t think she’s completely done with him), Minka Kelly, Mandy Moore, and Lindsay Lohan but also (allegedly) Pink and Avril Lavigne. Most of these women hook up with Wilmer following a traumatic event, which is not limited to the ending of a long-term romantic relationship of the most devastating sort. Well, Eva just broke up with Mark Sanchez, and now she’s supposedly getting with Wilmer according to this week’s issue of Star:
Just days after her split from N.Y. Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez, Eva Longoria had already drafted another sweetheart: Wilmer Valderrama! Eva, 37, was spotted canoodling with 32-year-old Wilmer at a play in downtown L.A.
“Wilmer and Eva went in and sat down next to each other — and as soon as the lights went out, she tucked her arm under his and they held hands the entire play,” an eyewitness reports. “She kept whispering in his ear and laying her head on his shoulder. They were really the cutest couple.”

Christina has even used her platform on The Voice to slam Gaga, and sources have long claimed that Christina feels like Gaga hijacked the career that was destined to be Christina?s. What I?m saying is that I have no problems believing this new story, in which Christina refers to Gaga as a ?beast? and threatens to kick Gaga?s ass.
As a coach on The Voice, Christina Aguilera claims to be all about woman power and sisterhood. But in real life, Star learns that she?s fuming with jealousy over Lady Gaga?s new perfume, Fame.
?Christina is threatened by any successful woman, but Gaga really gets under her skin,? snipes an insider. ?Christina?s fragrance line is her baby, and she?s extremely territorial ? especially since her album sales have tanked.?
The always-outspoken Xtina isn?t seething in silence, calling Gaga a ?beast.?

?CAN be really low-class?? How about ?Christina IS really low-class?? Because she is. There is ample evidence to suggest that she?s a very petty, nasty creature, which means that I believe this story completely. That being said, I don?t think Christina has all that much to worry about ? while Gaga?s little monsters are buying up the Fame perfume, I don?t think anyone else is, you know? That being said, I totally forgot that Christina had a perfume line. Let me check? oh? right. Her perfume line is best known for being a massive Photoshop fail. HAhaha.

Here are some new photos of Kristen Stewart yesterday in LA. She made an appearance at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association to announce this year?s Cecil B. DeMille Award, which (obviously) they announce ahead of time before the Golden Globes in January. This year?s winner is Jodie Foster, a woman many would say is Kristen?s Hollywood role model. Jodie recently defended Kristen against the rage of the Twihards in an essay that went over like a lead balloon. Anyway, Kristen wore a cute little grey Bec & Ridge shift dress and Burberry wedges for the event. WEDGES! I can?t believe she didn?t wear her ?dress Chucks? for the occasion. The dress is nice, though. I could do without the itty-bitty thigh slit, but otherwise it?s fine.
More Twihard news? as I mentioned in yesterday?s links, Robert Pattinson and Kristen went out and partied together for Halloween. They both wore masks and held hands and partied at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery at a party hosted by Maroon 5, which is probably the douchiest sentence I?ve ever written. According to People Magazine?s source, ?They snuck in the back of the party and were wearing normal clothes, but grabbed masks from a photo booth and put them on [seemingly] so people wouldn’t recognize them. They were holding hands, and at one point, he put his arm around her. She [didn't seem] as affectionate towards him.? Another insider noted: ?They shared drinks with friends at the party and were in a good mood. Rob was all over Kristen, while she seemed a bit more reserved.” YIKES. Maybe Rob does need to turn in his Man Card, right? I would think that he was the more reserved one, but no. Rob was all over his cheater girlfriend and she was all ?Yeah, I AM kind of over this, I wonder what Rupert is doing tonight??
Meanwhile, Us Weekly/Hollywood Life claims that at that LACMA Art + Film Gala last weekend, Cameron Diaz was making a cougar-y play for Rob. A source said Cameron ?was pretty obvious. Cam was seated next to Rob at dinner. She was touching him arm, doing her big Cameron laugh at everything he said and trying really hard. He was polite, but not having it.? That?s not really ?proof? that Rob will always be with Kristen, it?s just evidence that Cameron Diaz needs to stop trying to be hot, flirty, young party girl.
Last story ? Hollywood Life claims Kristen gave up cigarettes for Rob. A source says, ?She has been trying to be as supportive as she can of Rob?s decision to quit. Kristen and Rob used to smoke cigarettes together all the time but they know how crappy it made them feel. Kristen doesn?t like smoking that electronic cigarette, so she just all together quit.? Discuss.

A Los Angeles judge dismissed the wannabe manager?s entire libel/unpaid wages lawsuit, citing that Lutfi?s attorney never met the burden of proof required for such charges.
Superior Court Judge Suzanne Bruguera stated, "I really thought long and hard about this? It's the right thing to do."
And though he couldn?t seem to seal the deal after six days of testimony, Sam defiantly declared, "I'm going to appeal,? as he left the courtroom.
Lutfi had been trying to prove that Britney?s mother Lynne Spears defamed him in her book, while Spears? father Jamie forced him out of his managerial role for the ?Toxic? songstress. He claimed that the whole ordeal ended up costing him millions and gave him a bad reputation.

Later tonight, Tim will debut a brand new song from his forthcoming album, and he and Faith will join Lady Antebellum and Blake Shelton for a special tribute to Willie Nelson.

Recently, the mother to 4-year-old Nahla spoke about her daughter's daily prayers. In an interview on "The Wendy Williams Show," she explained, "We pray to God, so sweet. She says, ?God, please bring me a bunk bed and a baby sister.? And I say, ?I can do one of those things, I know for sure. The other one, we?ve got to keep praying on.? What do you say to her when she wants that and can?t understand why God?s taken so long??"
Though she didn't disclose whether or not she plans on adding to her family, Halle expressed relief at becoming a mother later in life. She admitted, "I?m a much better mother at 46 ? or 41, when I had her ? than if I were like 21 or 25. I mean I was just a little baby just trying to figure it out ? trying to figure out who I was, let alone having the responsibility of trying to help another little soul develop and grow. I?m so glad I waited.?
