Miranda Lambert has a pattern. Or should I say, she HAD a pattern. Her pattern was to only go after guys who were ?taken,? either married or in some kind of live-in situation, or in the case of Brendan McLoughlin, very much involved in a complicated and dramatic situation with an ex-fiance and a pregnant mistress. His mistress actually gave birth to their son within the same week that Miranda and Brendan met and started hooking up. Some days, Miranda?s marriage to Brendan feels like it?s broken her shady patterns. But maybe her pattern all along was DRAMA? She needs drama. She needs to bang married men for the drama of it. She needs to toss salads at steakhouses and elope with her young cop boyfriend for drama! And now she might want a kid. Well, that would give her a hell of a lot of drama.
Miranda Lambert and Brendan McLoughlin may be adding a new addition to their family in the near future, a source exclusively reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly. The country singer, 36, ?wants to start a family,? says the source, and is ready to be a mom with the retired New York City police officer. ?Miranda has been telling friends that she wants a baby and to be with Brendan forever.?
While there?s no timeline yet for buying little cowboy or cowgirl boots, one thing?s certain: Lambert and McLoughlin couldn?t be happier together. ?They get along so well together. They?re always focused on each other, and cuddling or kissing,? adds the source. ?They?re very hot for each other, and it shows in their body language.?

Miranda Lambert and Brendan McLoughlin met in the fall of 2018, when his ex-girlfriend (ish) was about to give birth to their child. Miranda met him the same week he became a father, honestly. Within two months, Miranda and Brendan were married and she was tossing salads in a steakhouse melee beef. It was quite an exciting couple of months for Miranda. So, how did Miranda meet her young husband? He was a cop working security for her appearance (with the Pistol Annies) on Good Morning America. Brendan was basically a part-time cop throughout 2019, because he was married to a country music millionaire and why work. And now he?s formally ?retired? from the NYPD.
Country singer Miranda Lambert?s hubby is no longer one of New York City?s finest. A spokeswoman for the NYPD confirmed Sunday Officer Brendan McLoughlin has left the department.
?His current duty status is retired,? the spokeswoman said. Fox News reports McLoughlin is working security for Lambert. The former cop took a leave of absence from the NYPD last July. McLoughlin had been moved off patrol and assigned to driving around higher-ups from his Midtown South Precinct when the public attention became too much for cops.
The country star and McLoughlin got married in secret early last year ? just months after the two met. The two had crossed paths when Lambert performed on ?Good Morning America? Nov. 2 and the cop was working security outside ABC?s Midtown studio.

I feel sorry for this guy that he basically gave up his career and his NYPD pension for Miranda. Then again, Brendan always seemed like such a mess romantically, sexually and he definitely made the choice to stick with Miranda. It?s not shocking that something had to give between their two careers, but I honestly thought that Brendan and Miranda?s marriage would be over before Brendan had to give up his uniform. Maybe he thought that too! I don?t know. Why is it that Miranda always needs men to sacrifice huge things for her? Usually, she gets them to sacrifice their marriages and wives for her. In Brendan?s case, he had to sacrifice his messy situation with a baby-mama AND his police career. Guess what, Brendan? It?s not worth it.

Here are some photos from last night?s CMA Awards, one of the many country-music award shows throughout the year. Even though I watched the entire Ken Burns? Country Music documentary, I still can?t tell country music awards-shows apart. They?re all the same? Probably not. I do think the CMAs are a big deal, but? who even knows. Anyway, Miranda Lambert was there with her young former cop husband Brendon. Miranda wore Tony Ward not her best look but far from her worst.
Nicole Kidman in Versace with Keith Urban. I actually like this dress a lot, weirdly enough. I mean, it?s sort of orange-y and the design is strange, but it looks great on her. I wish she had styled it differently, and I wish her hair was a lot different.

Did you know that Miranda Lambert is a Scorpio? She struck me more as a Gemini, but Scorpio works too. It actually explains a lot about her personality. Anyway, Miranda is currently promoting The Pistol Annies? latest album, which is why we?ve been getting so many interviews from her over the past few weeks. This is her first big promotional tour since she ran off and married Hot Cop Brendan McLoughlin after only knowing him for a couple of months. She successfully weathered that PR storm and truly, I?m shocked that they?re still together after nine months. Miranda is making it work though she bought an apartment in New York, and they split their time between New York, Nashville and Texas, I guess. Here are some quotes from Miranda?s recent interviews with People and radio station Country 94.7.
On the New York subway system: ?I don?t know how to navigate [the subway]. I?m scared of the stops. I know I won?t pay attention ? I?m ADD ? so I?ll be daydreaming and miss my place to get out.? She admitted McLoughlin was trying to fix her fear by getting her to ?chill out about it.?
Living in NYC as opposed to just working there: ?I?ve been to New York so many times, but I?ve only worked. I?ve never just gotten to like hang out and wander the city and really take in what that is, good and bad. There?s these crazy awesome rock bars and graffiti, I really enjoy it. I love the city. My heart is in Texas and Tennessee, but my husband has opened my eyes to a whole new world.?
She can only take New York for a short time though: ?It does drain your energy. Spending a lot of time here, I start to get anxiety and stress, and go, ?Okay, that?s three days. No more sirens. I?m good?? That?s why going back to the farm refuels me. When I was younger, I used to thrive on more noise and more going and more people. It?s opposite now. I need the quiet versus the noise.?
Her farm near Nashville: ?I?ve got bunnies and horses and dogs, cats, and I just can wear no makeup and be in the same clothes for three days. They don?t care. It?s just really a place where I can regroup.?
On working out: ?He helps me because he?s so energetic and he?ll push me.? On the other hand, she said she?s also teaching him a valuable lesson about self-awareness. ?I think I?m helping him realize that, that?s great and all, but that?s not what defines you? she explained. ?You?re very genetically blessed and I?m happy for you, but who you are isn?t what you look like.?

While I?m sure that I know why Miranda and Blake Shelton split up (she was cheating, A LOT), I also sort of wonder sometimes if she sabotaged that marriage because she was deeply unhappy with trying to ?fit in? to what Blake thought she should be, or what she thought ?Blake Shelton?s wife? should be. Like, remember the last years of that marriage? She lost a lot of weight, got a hair stylist who knew what to do with her hair, and she started wearing more sophisticated clothes. She was trying to be this ?first lady of country music,? I think, and it made her unhappy. She?s happier being a fking mess and screwing around constantly and wandering around the farm with her dogs and horses.
As for her fears of the city life? yeah, I mean, I grew in the suburbs without a lot of access to public transport. Whenever I have used a subway, it?s given me anxiety too.

Miranda Lambert is a mess, but honestly? I?m starting to feel like she simply lives her life with a man?s entitlement, and that?s why so many of us take issue with her. You know what I mean? We?re so used to women especially celebrity women fitting into these stereotypes of what to be and how to act, and then Miranda comes in, drinking and fighting and tossing salads and stealing men. Miranda is still married to That Guy, Brendan McLoughlin, the ?hot cop? she met a year ago, when he was just days away from welcoming his first child with a mistress-turned-girlfriend. Miranda ?stole? him away and I?m a little bit shocked that they?re still together. I thought it would be over in a matter of months. Anyway, Miranda has a new album coming out, Wildcard, with her girl-group the Pistol Annies. She sat down with the New York Times to chat about music, life and spending more time in New York. Some highlights:
Whether she worries about her sarcastic humor offending people: ?I don?t mean to upset people. I?m maybe a little too honest? I?ve evolved into being O.K. making fun of myself, with ?White Trash? or ?Way Too Pretty for Prison.? Back in the day, I would?ve went ahead and killed the guy. Now I?m like, ?That?s too much work.? [Laughs] I took myself really seriously in my 20s, because I was so driven. This is all I?ve ever chased, country music. And a few men.
Her teen years: ?I was a sheltered girl who went to church every Sunday. I had a pretty normal life, except that my parents were private investigators and took in women that were victims of domestic violence. I lived for my whole high school with random women and their kids coming in and out. Some were my friends. Some, I knew their dads. My parents, their conversations while we were eating spaghetti, were about who they caught having an affair. It was normal to me and my brothers.
Spending more time in New York: ?Quite a bit of time. I?m not great at navigating the city, but I?m great at calling an Uber. I got lost one day, walked to the West Side Highway, and my Apple Watch said I?d walked 13 miles. When people recognize you here, they don?t make a big deal. ?Oh. Hey. You?re Miranda Lambert. Like your music. Bye.?
Meeting her husband: ?I met my husband doing press for the Pistol Annies record, this time last year. Our record came out the day after Halloween, and we did ?Good Morning America.? My husband was doing security there for the show. My girlfriends, the Annies, saw him and knew I might be ready to hang out with someone. They invited him to our show behind my back. They plucked him for me. My security guy Tom, he was in on it too. He said to me, ?He?s here. And he?s pretty.? Now the Pistol Annies have three husbands, two ex-husbands, three children, a stepson and 23 animals. We?ve done a lot in nine years!

Last year, I did the timeline on Miranda?s messy love life. She spent about six months in total with Evan Felker, the married man who dumped his wife as soon as he met Miranda (truly, Felker filed for divorce within a matter of DAYS). That was in the spring of 2018. Evan and Miranda had a messy relationship where she banned him from contacted his now ex-wife. Then she dumped him in late August 2018 when he broke one of her rules. Miranda was single for two whole months before she met Brendan. And Brendan?s love life was just as messy as hers. So maybe that?s why they?re still together?

Miranda Lambert dropped a new single last week. The single is called ?It All Comes Out in the Wash,? and you can hear the sh-t below. It?s awful. It?s a bad song, Miranda?s voice sounds particularly nasal, and the lyrics are just terrible. ?You got frisky with your boss at the copy machine / You drunk dialed your ex-husband, don?t remember a thing?? Um-hm. I?m sure Miranda?s gotten frisky with a lot of bosses. Here?s the song:
Before the single dropped, Miranda used Brendan McLoughlin, her husband of about six months, to promote the song. She posted this video of shirtless Brendan doing laundry and you can see all the hashtags.

It?s been a good month since we?ve had any gossip about Miranda Lambert and her sudden marriage to a messy NYPD officer. In January, Miranda quietly married NYPD Officer Brendan McLoughlin in Nashville, then waited until February to announce it for some reason. Once she announced it, we realized how shady the whole thing was Miranda had only known Brendan for a few months, and his girlfriend/mistress had welcomed a baby the same week that Miranda met him last fall (November). If anything, I think Miranda has finally met and married her messy AF match and I think we all believe this will blow up spectacularly.
But for now, Miranda and Brendan are still together. They?ve made it more than two months! And they said it wouldn?t last. Miranda and Brendan walked their first-ever red carpet last night at the ACM Awards (Academy of Country Music Awards) in Las Vegas. Glad to see Brendan didn?t have to work last night! Miranda wore a mint green Alex Perry dress and she looked nice. Brendan is only seven years younger than Miranda but he looks a lot younger in these photos.
Anyway? there were some predictions that Miranda would get pregnant, but I?m not entirely sure she will. I?m not getting big pregnancy vibes from these photos either.
