I know I?m a little late in getting to this, but I?ve just watched one of the most bizarre commercials I?ve ever seen in my life. Kate Bosworth is the newest face of Vanessa Bruno?s clothing line - The Bos replaces Lou Doillon, who is, let?s face it, infinitely cooler and chicer than The Bos could ever hope to be. Anyway, the commercials - the 30-second one came out a month ago, but a ?full-length? commercial (at 2 minutes) just came out in Europe, and dear God?they are rough. They?re like an acid trip of strangeness with only The Bos?s skull-like face cavities to ground you in reality. Her eyes are crazy. Her lips are crazy. The expressions she makes are crazy. The part where she?s raising her arms at the heavens while propped up in a tree - that?s my favorite. My least favorite is all of the weirdness with the horses and all of the backwards running stuff. Was I supposed to be looking at the clothing?

The designer, Vanessa Bruno, told the press that The Bos was a natural fit for this Nordic-themed line, saying: ?She has the style of a Parisienne without being from Paris. She’s a true free spirit, does her own thing, makes her own decisions - exactly the aesthetic of the label. When we first met, we clicked so much, it was as though we already knew each other.? The Bos has the style of a Parisienne? If I was a Parisienne, I think I would be very insulted.

The two went to a showing of the musical Ghost on the West End and were caught by paparazzi after their dinner together. I think it’s so nice that Katy is holding hands with her MIL. He has been found on Halle Berry's property multiple times this year and now Richard A. Franco will stand trial for stalking and burglary charges.
According to a report, Judge Melissa Widdifield handed down her ruling that Franco will be arraigned on October 31st after hearing evidence against him.
An LAPD detective testified that Richard ended up snatching a key to the ?Monster?s Ball? babe?s guest house during one of his trespassing incidents.
Franco is still in jail on $150,000 bail after being arrested in July for showing up at Halle?s house three days in a row.

When I first glanced through these photos of Kim Kardashian, I swear my immediate thought was ?cat-faced panda?. It?s something weird/particular about Kim?s white and black dress when she pairs it with the black stole/wrap - she really does look like a giant cat-faced panda. Anyway, these are photos of Kim at last night?s Angel Ball, where she paid tribute to her late father, Robert Kardashian. Kim did the event and the carpet with her BFF Lala Vasquez. Why didn?t Kris Humphries come? Because their marriage is already in shambles?
So, thoughts on the overall look? Kim makes expensive gowns looks budget normally, and it?s the same situation here. Plus, she?s got her hair pulled too tight - I hate it when she wears her hair in tight buns, always. The makeup is overdone too. So? overall, it?s just busted.

We’re covering the fashion of last night’s Elle’s Women in Hollywood event in three different posts as there were so many celebrities there. Kaiser has already mentioned Jennifer Aniston’s hot dress along with some of the other big names, Like Reese Witherspoon and Evan Rachel Wood. I’ll be covering some of the other celebrities here along with my favorite TV personalities.
First off we have Katherine Heigl in a beaded little black dress. It’s a bit “mature” looking, but it’s not bad at all for her. She looks very good, if kind of crazed here. I like what she’s done with her short hair too. Her husband Josh Kelly came with her and looked almost as thrilled to be there. After seeing these photos, I’m convinced that things are fine with them.
Jayma Mays in a one-shoulder ruched blue dress with ruffle detail. Compared to some of the horribly frumpy things she’s worn on the red carpet, this was a vast improvement. Her hair is gorgeous and that sideswept looked is popular now. Her eye makeup is a little overdone, but overall this was a win for Jayma.
Busy Phillips looked a little goofy with that very tight, very high little bun on her head. I want to give her a pass for just looking so happy and cute though. She’s adorable in this very simple black dress paired with silver jewelry. What was she thinking with those purple shoes?
Matthew McConaughey’s squeeze Camila Alves had her pose on in a navy blue polka dot retro-style dress. She used to be a model, so I guess that could explain her sourpuss face. I love the dress, hair and makeup. The shoes and purse aren’t my favorite.
Erika Christensen of “Parenthood” looked really drab. I love her on that show, she’s one of my favorite actresses. What happened to her here? I wear more makeup and do more to my hair to go to the store on a daily basis. She’s a Scientologist I’m sorry to say, but she was raised in it. Also, here’s her date:
In contrast, Gillian Jacobs from another one of my shows, “Community,” was way overdone. The bottom half of that dress would be cute with a nice solid color panel at the top, but the contrasting patterns and colors are just ridiculous. Paired with that makeup and poofy hair and she looks unhinged.
Amber Heard, Johnny Depp’s costar in the upcoming Rum Diaries, was a study in color. I’m perplexed at how an otherwise gorgeous girl can pair a form-fitting pepto Pink dress with matte scarlet lips, brown eyeshadow, too-yellow hair and black t-strap heels and end up looking like this. It’s like all the lovely parts are there, but they don’t work together.
Elizabeth Olsen wore a silver tent-like Calvin Klein gown. It doesn’t do much for her, but I love how genuinely happy she looks here, and her makeup is so striking.
Abigail Breslin is still only 15! I can’t believe it, as I had to look it up and assumed she was 17-something by now. She had on a very tasteful loose orange dot dress paired with a canary colored clutch and nude heels. She’s wearing too much makeup for her age, but she looks cute here.
Naomi Watts in a nude-colored v-neck gown. The color washes her out, but she looks so hot. I love her hair and makeup, except her mascara is really clumpy. That’s happened to me when I let a makeup counter person do my mascara. I expect Naomi had something similar happen with her makeup artist.

Scarlett Johansson has embarked upon a bit of a German PR extravaganza, although I cannot figure out what film project she could possibly be promoting other than We Bought A Zoo, but that movie doesn’t come out in Germany until February (and in the U.S. in late December). Perhaps Scarlett is merely promoting her boobs, which are hanging out all over the cover of GQ Germany without any interview tidbits released thus far, so who knows?
In addition, Scarlett has done an interview with Germany’s Gala publication, so some excerpts are available thanks to the power of Google Translate. Until now, we’ve only heard a few sparse details about the dissolution of Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds’ two-year marriage, and those statements came from the dude perspective in the relationship. Now, Scarlett has opened up a bit about the depression she suffered after the split and who she turned to for support. Well, other than Sean Penn, who was only around for a few months before they broke up either because she’s too clingy or he told her to go back to school. Anyway, back to the business of Scarlett and Ryan:
On Coping With Divorce: At first I was quite depressed. After about a week or so I pulled myself together and started to go to the gym all the time. Luckily, I’ve got a few very close girlfriends who have been by my side for 15 years now, who I can talk to about everything and confide in. I’ve got a close relationship with my twin brother Hunter as well. And then there’s my grandmother Dorothy. She recently turned 89 - she’s an incredibly sweet, lovely and wise woman.
On Her Relationship Flaws: I will only tell you this: I can be overcritical - with myself and with other people. And I don’t compromise… I pass judgment on people quite quickly. If I don’t agree with someone or if I’m annoyed I will tell people to their face - no matter how hurtful that might be. That can get me into trouble from time to time. When that happens, my friends have to hold me back and say, “Scarlett, you can’t say that!” I’m also incredibly impatient - regarding my job, my family and men. I want things to progress. I hate stagnation!

Now that part of hating stagnation is interesting. Was she referring to wanting to move forward with Ryan into making gerbil babies? I highly doubt that. Could she possibly have been referring to wanting a more serious relationship with Sean Penn beyond sex, toupees, and chain smoking? Quite possibly, but that ship has sailed since Penn has been dating Shannon Costello for the past several months.
At this point though, I think Scarlett is over both Ryan and Sean or, at the very least, she’s distracted enough with filming The Avengers to take some much needed personal time for herself before jumping into another bad relationship. Scarlett’s been photographed by herself a few times this month, including this snap taken outside the NYC Plaza hotel. Her awkward foot placement reminds me of the ankle-snapping pose at the White House Correspondents Dinner:

In Vancouver to film The Friends You Keep, Shia Labeouf was caught on camera at the tail-end of an ass kicking by a doughy, shirtless white guy outside the Cinema Public House.
No details as of yet but both were in a heated argument inside the Cinema Public House before security kicked them out. The man somehow removed his shirt and found himself on top of Shia winging punches to his head. It wasn’t rape rape, I’m told.
Someone quickly pulls off fat, white guy who jiggles away and Shia tries to go after him but friends hold him back telling him “You gotta lay low right now!” ‘Cause the fuzz is on to him, ya see?
Later, Shia’s friend pins him to the the side of the building and comforts him eliciting shouts of “Make out, ya queers!” Okay, the last part didn’t happen, but it should have.

As I just said in my previous post, Jennifer Aniston was the big celebrity ?get? for last night?s Elle Magazine event. But! There were several other A-listers and B-listers there too, and it seems like a really great event which got an amazing turn-out. So this is one of several posts in which we?re going to discuss some of the other ladies at the event. First up: Reese Witherspoon in a black (or navy?) suit, which designer ID I can?t find. The suit looks ill-fitting, and the lace camisole (with exposed bra?) looks? odd.
Here?s Nicole Richie in a lovely brown dress with some kind of blue pattern or appliqu. The dress is gorgeous, and I wonderful choice for Nicole. I?m still not crazy about the hair, though.
Chloe Moretz in Calvin Klein. She?s like 5 years old (real age: 14). She?s still growing, but for now, she?s much too small and petite for this dress.
Here?s Freida Pinto, also in Calvin Klein. HATE the dress. It looks oversized and unflattering on such a beautiful girl (who has a great figure, but you wouldn?t know it).
Viola David in a gray sheath. The dress is pretty enough, but I?m still hoping that Viola changes up her hair. I don?t know if it?s a wig or her actual hair, but that mushroom-cap style is busted.
Laura Dern in black - the outfit is great, the jewelry is perfect, BUT THE HAIR. The hair is a mess.
Robin Wright in black. The dress is fine, the blunt-cut hairstyle is bothering me. Robin is so beautiful, why does she do the short, cropped hairstyles?
Rachel Zoe in OH DEAR GOD. She looks like hell.
Michelle Pfeiffer in black, with an excessive belt. That face is still so amazing.
And lastly, Evan Rachel Wood in black? it looks like D&G. Sexy, and she can pull it off because she?s so young.

For the most part, when everyone is going on and on about how great Jennifer Aniston looks, I truly feel a sense of mystery. Sure, she has a great figure, and her commitment to blowouts and blonde highlights are legendary. But her style can be hit-or-miss, and the combination of everything she puts together usually gives me a big ?meh?. Now, all that being said, I LOVE the way she looked at last night?s Elle Magazine event. As you remember, Aniston was selected as the cover girl for their ?Women In Hollywood? issue, and so she was one of the biggest names at the event.
Aniston selected this metallic gray Kaufmanfranco mini-dress which looks absolutely stunning on her. I?ve always said that she should try bolder colors, but now I?m saying that she should definitely wear more metallics and grays. I?m not even put off by the ?look at my boobs? vibe of the dress - in fact, I rather like it. If you?re going to do a deep-V-neck, this is one of the best ways to do it - covered arms, a skirt the perfect length, and then hit ?em with the cleavage. Basically, I would love to own this dress. It?s beautiful and sexy and perfect for her. And don?t even start with the pregnancy rumors, either. Those are her normal boobs. They are not pregnant-boobs. Basically, this is the best she?s looked in MONTHS.
Guess who else was at the Elle event? Chelsea Handler, Jennifer?s BFF. Chelsea is a ?woman in Hollywood? now, because she?s an ?actress? now! Chelsea looks okay (for her). The skirt doesn?t fit her, but the colors are pretty. And her face looks less busted too. Well done, Chelsea.

Last night was the premiere of the long-gestating film, Margin Call. We?ll have the buffet of hot dudes in a moment - this post is just about Demi Moore, who appears in a supporting part in the film (which is about the financial crisis). Demi wore this red Zac Posen which? under normal circumstances, on a woman with a great figure, would be nice, although perhaps slightly boring and wallpaper-like. On Demi, it?s pretty bad.

I really do feel bad for her. I would have more sympathy if she just got out of her marriage and told Ashton to GTFO, but as the situation seems now? I feel bad for her. It?s rather brave of her to walk the red carpet solo, looking like a mess, when everyone knows your husband has been having hot tub sex with some Vegas skank.

I?m eating my words, happily. Go ahead and tell me I?m full of it, that I?m a lying liar made of lies, soaking is a bath full of lies and eating lie tiramisu and drinking lie-filled Chardonnay. As it turns out, I was wrong about Emma Watson. And I?m thrilled that I was wrong about her. In the Spring of this year, Emma announced that she was going to be ?taking a break? from university - she was finishing up her second year at Brown, and I believe that she didn?t complete her Spring semester, because she got work from Lancome and she went to shoot a movie. I was very suspicious of Emma?s decision to ?take a break? because A) Her story kept changing and B) She seemed more concerned with partying and having fun, all while maintaining her ?good, studious girl? persona.
Then, a few months ago, Emma?s story changed once again, and suddenly she was no longer taking a break, but she was ?transferring? or doing a semester or a year abroad at Oxford. I was suspicious of that too, and I figured that we would eventually get an announcement that Emma had decided to ?study abroad? too late, and that there was a paperwork mix-up and she never did enroll in Oxford. But I was wrong! Mea culpa. She?s actually at Oxford right now! She sent a message to her fans on her blog:

Just to say have a great term and good luck with all your work.
You might not hear from me for a while because I will be really busy studying but I wanted to just say hi and bye : )

Katie Holmes covers the November issue of Marie Claire to promote her role in Jack and Jill (in which she plays the wife of Adam Sandler, who does double duty in drag) while wearing a red leather jacket and generally looking like she’s talking out of the side of her mouth. In other words, it’s business as usual minus the fug booties from hell and the Scientology minders; although it is not out of the realm of possiblity that both were lurking in the background.
At any rate, Holmes is being interviewed by Pankaj Mishra, the author of The Romantics (the novel that was adapted into the 2010 movie starring Holmes), in the same dubious tradition of Stephenie Meyer’s lukewarm interview of an ass kissing KStew in Glamour. Here, the roles are reversed, with Pankaj writing ridiculously flattering statements — “she looks like the quintessential movie star,” “[h]er dancer’s figure and Empire State Building legs literally stop traffic,” and “massive doe eyes, rosebud cheeks, and darling smile” — to describe Holmes’ physicality. The interview is … unfocused and strange at best, and here are a few excerpts:
On The Future: “I feel ready for the next chapter of my life. I’m excited to begin a new phase: roles I might have been afraid to play before, places I want to travel to with my daughter. I’d like to build the design business. But not too fast.”
On Working With Adam Sandler: “Adam has comedy down to a science. He knows how to find the funny — not just in himself but in everyone around him. He makes you feel comfortable and supported so that you can be your best. And he runs the takes again and again until comfort gives way to laughter.”
On Balancing Work & Family: “I’m thinking about getting rid of this,” Katie says mischievously, pointing at her cell phone. “Wouldn’t it be great to have an old-fashioned phone sheet? Go to your office, make your calls, and then continue with your day?”
“My daughter was with me the other day at a work event, and it was a long day. I took out some paper and markers that I had in my bag, and someone said to me, ‘Oh, that is so cute,’ and I looked at her and thought, No, this is not cute. This is what all mothers have to do.”
“Being around this business, my daughter is exposed to people with incredible talent, people who are the best at what they do. People I only dreamed of getting to work with as a little girl.”

Okay, I’ll give her that bit about paper and markers. Every mother that I personally know (including myself) will readily admit that crayolas and markers are the most portable form of kiddie entertainment in the world and also a great way to stimulate young minds. Even though she does questionable things like taking lipstick-wearing Suri out of school for New York Fashion Week, Katie really does seem to be a pretty devoted mother, and she mentions Suri several times during the interview. Oddly, Katie does not mention Tom Cruise at all. Poor unhinged, lift-wearing midget.
Now for the accompanying photoshoot, which is pretty bland and features Holmes wearing lots of heavy eye makeup and wearing “dreamy” dresses. Well, I like the parts of the green dress that are visible, but the rest is pretty meh.

I could have sworn that Gwen Stefani was just recently the cover girl for InStyle, but I must have hallucinated that. She?s the magazine?s November cover girl, and surprisingly enough, I kind of love the photo shoot. Usually I find InStyle?s shoots too airbrushed and not really that stylish, but Gwen looks great here. As I was looking through the photos, I realized how crazy it is that she?s 42. She?s looked the same for more than a decade, and I think she could easily pass for a woman in her late 20s. Maybe it?s all of the makeup. Maybe it?s her youthful spirit. Maybe it?s just great genes. Here are some highlights from the interview:
Gwen on being a mom: “Being a mother is probably the most challenging thing I do.”
Gwen on finding balance: ?At work I?ve learned how to delegate. You don?t have to be on a ladder in a warehouse, micromanaging. You can be at home. And teamwork is also such a big part of marriage and parenting.?
On making time for her sons: ?The thing I?d like to do is enjoy these boys while they?re young - so I don?t regret I was working too much when they?re big and don?t want to cuddle with me anymore.?
Her trademark blonde: ?My hair color is L?Oral, but I won?t reveal the number. And I do my roots as often as Marilyn Monroe did hers. I?m serious. I found out.?
The one time she went red: ?Right after we came home from the first No Doubt tour I felt like I might get recognized, so I colored my hair red. And I hated it.?
Her makeup: ?The makeup goes on every day, even if I?m not going anywhere.?

I always find it interesting that Gwen is so old-fashioned about ?putting on her face? as we in the South say. My mother is just like that too - she will not leave the house without a full face of makeup (even when she?s sick, even when she?s going to the hospital) and it honestly doesn?t make a bit of difference. She looks pretty much the same, with or without makeup. As for Gwen, I?m sure she does look different without ?her face? on, but I suspect she looks even younger, honestly. Previously, Gwen has claimed: ?I like to wear make-up for Gavin and I don’t feel energized till I’ve put it on, then I’m ready to go.? I think that?s BS - she?s not wearing makeup for Gavin, she?s wearing it for herself.

Here are some new photos of January Jones, out and about in Pasadena. January is like the new poster girl for prenatal yoga. This hussy was ALWAYS at prenatal yoga when she was knocked up, and wouldn?t you know? Her body bounced back instantly after giving birth. Put her on the posters, I swear.
Anyway, I cannot believe the emails and comments I?ve been getting about January and her baby. Jan and her little X-Man (Xander!) were photographed recently, although we didn?t have access to those pics - you can see them here, at INF Daily. Xander looks? like a baby. He barely has any hair, but what?s there looks kind of light brown to me. But too many of you bitches have been yelling at me, claiming that this baby is a ginger, and because Xander is a ginger, that means this baby is half-Fassbender. BITCHES PLEASE.
Now, when January was still gestating, I devoted a lot of time and energy to what I considered the best living blind item of the year. January kept her mouth shut, for better and for worse, and the speculation, blind items and ?reports? kept going and going. Sure, I had Michael Fassbender in the running, but it?s widely known that he was boning Zoe Kravitz as soon as he met her on the X-Men: First Class set. Other possibilities named (for better or for worse): James McAvoy, Olivier Platt (ha!), John Slattery, Ashton Kutcher, Kevin Bacon, Bobby Flay and I even threw Jack Nicholson into the running (Jack and January are friendly). But when it came down to it, January?s X-Men director Matthew Vaughn (husband of Claudia Schiffer) was the best candidate, a theory and rumor which he has denied and which his lawyers are prepared to sue over. So, Vaughn (?Crumpets McMoneyDong?) is definitely NOT (cough, cough) the father.
So now that we?ve seen little X, why is everybody trippin? out and claiming that Fassie MUST be the daddy? Fassie likes dark, passionate, crazy girls, and I truly can?t see him messing around with January?s cold, vanilla bitchery. And the baby isn?t even a ginger - at least, I?m not convinced Xander is a ginger. Yet. But even if he is? um, hello, BOBBY FLAY?

Back in February, Shia got into a bar fight at his local LA pub, where sources said that he and his friends are docuhey regulars. To be fair to Shia, most said that he didn?t pick the fight, that he was only reacting to some dude with a chip on his shoulder. Shia later tried to explain what happened (here and here) and said that at the end of the day, only his sexy mom?s opinion matters to him. Well, I wonder what his sexy mom has to say about this? Shia got into another bar fight, this time in Vancouver.
TMZ got video of the incident, which? seems very weird. Apparently, Shia was ?punched in the head? repeatedly by a shirtless dude.
