Here are some photos from last night?s gala event for the New York City Ballets 75th Anniversary. Sarah Jessica Parker, a longtime supporter and patron of the NYC Ballet, was there with her husband Matthew Broderick. Interestingly enough, Diane Kruger also decided to come out for this event. Diane has attended NYC Ballet events in the past, but she?s not known as some kind of long-time supporter of the company. I find it fascinating that Diane made a point of stepping out with her partner/fiance (and father of her child) Norman Reedus this week, the week that Jodie Turner Smith filed for divorce from Joshua Jackson. I think she did it on purpose, that she was looking for a chance to send a signal that she and Norman are still together. Considering she?s given interviews for years now, taking swipes at Joshua, you can?t blame me for feeling like this was pointed. Diane wore a ?bridal white? bespoke Givenchy to the gala. The sleeves are so bad, it looks like her arm is in a sling.
Here?s SJP and Matthew Broderick. Sarah Jessica always does tulle-intensive ballerina looks for NYC Ballet events. We don?t talk about that enough, that SJP is a theme-dresser. This dress is Carolina Herrera and she added a giant hair bow. I get what she was doing but this feels like mutton dressed as lamb. I know exactly how judgmental that sounds but I still say this look is way too ?young.?

I still remember how shocked I was when Diane Kruger began openly cheating on her then-boyfriend Joshua Jackson. In December 2015, Joshua was halfway around the world, working, while Diane stayed in their place in New York. She was seen making out with Norman Reedus at a dive bar, and the stories just kept coming about how after Diane and Norman worked together that year, they seemed like ?more than friends.? Diane and Joshua limped along for another six months before breaking up in 2016. Diane and Norman continued to see each other and they were officially together by December 2016. If we?re counting their affair as the start of their relationship, they?ve been together six years, and they welcomed a daughter in 2018. And now they?re engaged:
Diane Kruger and Norman Reedus are engaged, a source confirms to PEOPLE. Kruger, 45, and Reedus, 52, met while filming the 2015 movie Sky. They promoted the film together at the Toronto International Film Festival before going public with their romance in March 2017.
In May 2018, multiple sources confirmed to PEOPLE Kruger was pregnant with the couples first child after the actress sparked rumors of her pregnancy at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival earlier that month by wearing a variety of loose-fitting outfits during the event.
In November of that year, PEOPLE confirmed Kruger and Reedus had welcomed a daughter, which was Krugers first child and Reedus second. (The Walking Dead star is also dad to 21-year-old son, Mingus, from a previous relationship with Helena Christensen.)
The couple has always kept their relationship private and that has extended to their daughter by keeping details of her birth, including her name and exact birthday, private.

I?ve always gotten a vibe from Diane and Norman, and maybe I?m totally wrong, but it?s always felt like she?s way more into him than he is to her. He just seems like he?s too artsy and cool to care about ?being in a committed relationship? or even ?getting married.? But whatever, they?ve been doing this for six years. Here are some photos from Day/Night #2 of Cannes. Not as glittery as the opening night, but there was some fun fashion to discuss. Diane Kruger was there to attend the premiere of Tout Sest Bien Passe. She wore this Armani gown, which surprised me for a few different reasons. Diane is big on Chanel, for one. While she was never exclusively contracted to wear Chanel on every red carpet, she wore Chanel often. When Karl Lagerfeld was alive. I wonder if she?s being phased out of Chanel or she?s phasing them out? Or maybe she just liked this Armani gown, although I do not see why. This gown is giving her Sad Boob Syndrome.
Isabelle Huppert wore Balenciaga and all you other bitches can go home.
Andie MacDowell wore an absolutely awful Versace gown to the same premiere! This is a new piece, but it looks like something that she found in the back of her closet. I do love that she?s rocking grey hair though from the neck up, she looks good (she needs a different lipstick, so there is that as well).
Candice Swanepoel in custom Etro. This really does look customized for her and it?s really good on her. I would look like a lumpy tube in this, but she looks great. A tad bridal, maybe? But that?s my only minor criticism.

Here are some photos of Diane Kruger at last night?s Chanel Tribeca Film Festival Artists Dinner. Yes, the Tribeca Film Festival is happening right now, I just haven?t done any coverage of it, sorry. Diane was in attendance because she loves Chanel, she lives in New York and she?s currently promoting her role in JT LeRoy. She?s also in a place where she finally feels comfortable enough to chat about her baby. Last year, about six months ago, Diane and Norman Reedus welcomed a baby girl. We still don?t know the kid?s name and that?s on purpose, as Diane explained to People. Diane sounds like she?s enjoying motherhood:
The baby isn?t girlie: ?She?s not really girlie, she?s kind of a dude.? Regardless, the actress said she?s saving special Chanel items for her daughter. ?It?s fun to have a girl, I will say,? before adding, ?I like that, too.?
What Reedus is like as second-time-around dad: She said Reedus is ?very great with her. He just looks at her with unconditional love,? she shared, before joking, ?I wish he would look at me like that.?
Reedus?s older son Mingus: ?He?s great! You know 19 years is a big gap so he?s really like stepping up to be this protective big brother.?
She doesn?t want any more kids: ?No. I?m done. Norman has a 19-year-old son so I think our family is pretty much complete.?
Why she?s not revealing the baby?s name: ?Well first and above all, it?s safety. We have The Walking Dead empire which has a lot of very intense fandomship that comes with it. We had a couple [of] incidences before her arrival that were not so fun to deal with and so my main concern?s her safety. And secondly, she is an innocent, young, vulnerable baby and I think I just don?t understand why America doesn?t have better laws for children.?
Losing the pregnancy weight: ?I mean it?s discipline for sure but I was a ballet dancer so all my life I?ve been sort of active. It just sort of happened by itself pretty much. I mean, I worked out.?

A few months ago, a commenter I forget who, I?m sorry theorized something about Diane and Norman?s relationship and I haven?t been able to get that theory out of my head. The theory was basically that Diane fell head over heels for Norman when they first met and that?s why she cheated on Joshua Jackson with Norman, and why she seemed to move so quickly with him once she and Joshua were done. But that Norman always thought that their affair was just going to be brief and simple and he wasn?t expecting all of this. I don?t know it?s hard to understand their whole relationship deal from the outside. I feel like this joke might have been a bit too honest though: ?He just looks at her with unconditional love. I wish he would look at me like that.? Also: do six-month old babies have dude-like personalities? Perhaps.

Backgrid Photos claims these are ?the first photos? of Diane Kruger and Norman Reedus together since they welcomed their daughter. Diane and Norman were taking a walk on Thursday in New York, and the baby was in the stroller. They?ve become such a hardcore New York couple/family, right? Diane and Norman live together, and they just welcomed a baby a month ago, and yet people still theorize that they?re not really together, or that the baby isn?t really Norman?s. No. I?m 100% sure that they?re together and doing the happy-family thing. The only thing I question is how long it will last Diane is ride-or-die for him, but how does he feel about her and their conventional domestic arrangement?
Before Thanksgiving, Diane posted a holiday message calling this her ?favorite time of the year? and directing a message to Norman?s Instagram handle, writing: ?I have A LOT to be thankful for this year and I count my lucky stars to have met you @bigbaldhead and for sharing life?s many blessings with you.? As I said, she?s ride-or-die. But is he?
Incidentally, we still don?t know the name of the baby? Unlike some of the other celebrities who manage to keep their baby?s names hidden for a while, I suspect we?ll find out Baby Kruger-Reedus?s name sometime soon. My guess is something with obvious German vibes. Her mom?s name is Maria-Theresa, and I could see some kind of variation of that.

For a time, Diane tried to keep her thing with Reedus relatively quiet, but in the past year, they became pretty official, even walking the red carpet together in January. Then, at the Cannes Film Festival this year, rumors were buzzing around that Diane was knocked up with a Reedus baby. We got confirmation of her pregnancy in late May. And now she?s a mom! Reedus Girl 2018.
Congratulations to Diane Kruger and Norman Reedus! The couple welcomed their first child together, a baby girl, sources confirm to Page Six.
It?s the first child for Kruger, 42, and the second for Reedus, 49, who has a 19-year-old son with his ex, model Helena Christensen.
The pair began dating in 2016 after meeting on the set of their 2015 movie ?Sky.? They made their relationship official in 2017 when they were photographed together on a date.

Eventually, Diane and Joshua broke up and ever since, Diane and Norman have been together somewhat officially. They?ve even done red carpets together, although she still has not convinced him to wash his hair. She reportedly thinks Norman is her soulmate and she wants to marry him. Well, Diane has been riding solo at the Cannes Film Festival for days. She?s attending premieres and events, and I?m including some of those Cannes photos in this post. Note her sudden penchant for billowy dresses and nothing body-con. Yeah there are pregnancy rumors.
There?s buzz at the Cannes Film Festival that Diane Kruger is expecting her first child, with ?The Walking Dead? star Norman Reedus, sources tell Page Six. Kruger ? who won best actress at the French fest in 2017 and has been on the jury in the past ? has been seen at events this year abstaining from alcohol and wearing billowing, less-than-revealing outfits to obscure the good news, we?re told.
The 41-year-old German actress has been with Reedus, 49, since late 2016, after she broke up with ?The Affair? actor Joshua Jackson, whom she dated for a decade, though they never married or had children. At Cannes, Kruger has been seen hiding under a large Pink coat, as well as in more glamorous gowns on the red carpets ? but a Riviera insider said on Monday, ?She?s been wearing super billowy dresses at three events here in Cannes so far, and also at the Met Gala.?
The source added that Kruger sipped water at events where the customary Cannes ros was flowing freely.
Reports said last month that she?s just listed a two-bedroom Tribeca apartment she only had for about a year for $4.7 million, and she and Reedus have reportedly been house hunting together.

She did some red carpets, a round-table discussion, and a handful of longer interviews. There was seemingly some method to it too – she used her low-key campaign to do a low-key rollout of her official-relationship status with Norman Reedus. She talked about him openly with Vulture – in addition to discussing how ?liberated? she felt after she was done with Joshua Jackson – then shock of shocks, they walked the carpet together at the Critics Choice awards.
Well, all of that was for naught. In the Fade wasn?t nominated for Best Foreign Film at the Oscars. I bet she still shows up to the Vanity Fair party though. But will Norman Reedus be on her arm for it? Probably. According to Star Magazine (I know, but hear me out), Diane wants to marry Norman Reedus. He?s her soulmate in a way Joshua Jackson never was. What the what?
Diane Kruger dated Joshua Jackson for a decade, and despite endless engagement rumors, she always insisted they would never wed. ?Without sounding pessimistic, I don?t believe in marriage,? the actress admitted after divorcing Guillaume Canet in 2006. That all changed when she met Norman Reedus.
