Several years ago, there was a flurry of terrible stories about Scientology and particular Scientologists. Leah Remini has done great work exposing CoS and giving a platform to people who have left the cult. But it does feel like in the past two years or so, there?s been less conversation about how CoS is actually a dangerous cult, right? People forget, people move on, and suddenly we?re talking about how Tom Cruise is a cool guy for going to Wimbledon and enjoying Indian food. Laura Prepon recently spoke about how she is ?not practicing? Scientology anymore and she hasn?t practiced in ?close to five years.? Many of us noted her careful word choice and wondered if there would be pushback on Laura from CoS. So far, nothing has happened? And so now we?re getting stories about how Laura is ?relieved.?
Carving her own path. Laura Prepon is at peace after leaving the Church of Scientology, a source reveals exclusively in the new issue of Us Weekly.
?She feels relieved to be living life on her own terms,? the insider says of the That ?70s Show alum, 41. ?She wants to focus on her own individual spirituality.?
Prepon is focused on her family. The New Jersey native wed actor Ben Foster in 2018. The pair share daughter Ella, 4, and a son, 16 months. ?She?s a mom now and she?s moved on, and she is building her life around that,? the source continues. ?Laura found her own spiritual path and no longer wants to be associated with the church.?
In her recent admission, Prepon noted that Foster, 40, never practiced Scientology but said that the two meditate together instead.

I really do wonder if this is really what?s happening behind the scenes? Like, would a cult like CoS suddenly become more chill about people leaving? Would it suddenly be no big deal? Part of me wonders if CoS becoming more undercover is actually a bad thing. It might mean that they?re just focusing on their core members and realigning their power base.

I still remember how shocked I was when Diane Kruger began openly cheating on her then-boyfriend Joshua Jackson. In December 2015, Joshua was halfway around the world, working, while Diane stayed in their place in New York. She was seen making out with Norman Reedus at a dive bar, and the stories just kept coming about how after Diane and Norman worked together that year, they seemed like ?more than friends.? Diane and Joshua limped along for another six months before breaking up in 2016. Diane and Norman continued to see each other and they were officially together by December 2016. If we?re counting their affair as the start of their relationship, they?ve been together six years, and they welcomed a daughter in 2018. And now they?re engaged:
Diane Kruger and Norman Reedus are engaged, a source confirms to PEOPLE. Kruger, 45, and Reedus, 52, met while filming the 2015 movie Sky. They promoted the film together at the Toronto International Film Festival before going public with their romance in March 2017.
In May 2018, multiple sources confirmed to PEOPLE Kruger was pregnant with the couples first child after the actress sparked rumors of her pregnancy at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival earlier that month by wearing a variety of loose-fitting outfits during the event.
In November of that year, PEOPLE confirmed Kruger and Reedus had welcomed a daughter, which was Krugers first child and Reedus second. (The Walking Dead star is also dad to 21-year-old son, Mingus, from a previous relationship with Helena Christensen.)
The couple has always kept their relationship private and that has extended to their daughter by keeping details of her birth, including her name and exact birthday, private.

Sportscaster Erin Andrews wrote a personal essay recently about her journey with in vitro fertilization. She and husband Jarret Stoll have been trying to conceive for a while and have, as of yet, been unsuccessful. She has also been quiet about her family planning up until now. But as she entered her 7th round of IVF treatment, she decided she wanted to tell her story. Erin?s motivation is that she doesn?t want women to have to suffer through fertility struggles in silence, especially when so many are going through the same experiences. So she wants to be honest about her story to help others not feel shame and encourage more people to become vocal themselves.
Erin Andrews is opening up about fertility struggles and why its important for her to be candid about her journey.
The veteran sports broadcaster, 43, writes in a new personal essay on Bulletin about undergoing a seventh round of in vitro fertilization (IVF), which she describes as a time-consuming and emotionally draining process and shes been going through these treatments since I was 35 years old.
I have been trying to do IVF treatment for a while now, but sometimes it doesnt go the way you want it. Your body just doesnt allow it, writes Andrews, who is married to former NHL player Jarret Stoll.
Every cycle is different in a womans body, so some months are better than others, she continues. When I heard this was the best time to go through another treatment, I had to figure it out all over again. How am I going to juggle this treatment on top of my work schedule? I got so stressed out. When this happens, it really makes you question: Is it the future of my family or is it my job?
Andrews explains that in her line of work women feel the need to keep things like this quiet, though she says there are so many other women who maybe put their careers on the back burner because they dont want to miss out on any opportunities.
Its so common that people are starting families late and put so many other aspects of their lives on hold, she says, later adding, I am not ashamed, and I want to be vocal and honest about this.
You never know who else is going through this; it could be another coworker or the person making your coffee every day. There are more people than you think, she says. Now that its my seventh time, something just hit me. Why am I keeping this such a secret when this is just a part of our lives? Instead of feeling ashamed, we need to give ourselves more love. It freaking sucks, because it can seem like its such a lonely thing. There are so many of us going through this though, and its just not talked about.

Erin?s been trying IVF for eight years. That?s a long time to wait for a baby, let alone deal with all that goes into IVF treatments. And as she said in her essay, she?s still juggling a career and the backlash all the time IVF is taking her away from her job. I?ve never done IVF. I know a couple of people who have. One could only afford one round (it didn?t work). Another had the means for multiple, about as many as Erin, and they were successful eventually. Another gave up after a few failed tries because it was too much for them emotionally. There is nothing to be ashamed about. And Erin?s right, hearing about others with similar experiences provides a lot of comfort. She also said it?s especially important with IVF because of the unique circumstances like the cost, time and physical and mental toll it takes. From an outsider perspective, I never knew if I should ask about my friends? IVF journey or not. It?s not that I didn?t want to talk about it, because I found it fascinating. But I knew how much they had invested, both personally and financially, and I did want to say ?so how?s it going?? if it was going poorly. But now I?m worried that I contributed to making those women feel like they needed to keep quiet. Hopefully people like Erin will bring the subject into the mainstream conversation. Once we?re used to the subject, we can find a better way to discuss it with those we know who are going through it.
