Heading back for a role on the small screen, it was just announced that Ashley Tisdale has sold a new comedy project to ABC.
Surely to the excitement of her many avid fans, the ?High School Musical? hottie will star in a semi-autobiographical sitcom called ?Under Construction.?
In the show, Ashley?s character goes through what a typical young professional usually takes on, including moving back home while her father fixes up her new house.
Tisdale tweeted a link earlier today with the caption, ?So excited to share just some of the things were developing over at blondie girl productions ;).?

According to Life & Style, married life isn’t what Kim thought it would be. Turns out rushing into marriage for publicity isn’t such a good idea after all. Who would have guessed?
?Kim?s miserable,? a show source tells Life & Style magazine. ?They?re always fighting.?
Kim?s said so herself. ?I didn?t know marriage was going to be so hard,? she grieved to a friend at Clover Nails on Oct. 9 in NYC. ?With all this travel and work, it?s been a big adjustment for both of us.?
?She doesn?t feel like she?s ready for the commitment,? a friend shares. ?Kim feels this all happened too soon, that she didn?t take time to get to know Kris. She?s embarrassed ? she rushed into things, and now she?s stuck.?
Not really stuck. Maybe for a year. Then she can get a divorce and get on the cover of PEOPLE again. Don’t worry, her mom will fill her in on the details.
Kim fears that Kris is using her for fame. ?Kim is definitely worried that Kris isn?t mature enough and could be using her for her money ? especially since he?s not working right now with the NBA lockout,? says the show source. ?He tries to have creative input in Kourtney & Kim Take New York. It?s her show, and he tries to dominate it.?
Kris has also caused Kim to put her baby making plans on hold because he?s not sure where, or if, he?ll be playing basketball next year.
Sheesh. And life seemed so perfect. He was a pro-athlete and his name started with a K. To think, that wasn’t the stars aligning for Kim.
Kim?s not happy that they haven?t settled into a real home and are stuck at the Gansevoort Park Avenue hotel in NYC. She?s unable to cook meals for Kris ? and in turn, he has left Kim at the hotel on occasion and gone to grab burgers with his buddies.
Now, Kim?s heading for a separation as she travels to Dubai and Australia. ?Kris is not invited ? she?s leaving him behind,? notes the source. Hollywood Life

I just watched Jewel on the Today show thinking at first that I probably wouldn’t cover that story. She has a new children’s album out called The Merry Goes ‘Round. She explained that it’s a multi-genre effort that she put together by collaborating remotely while she was pregnant and later while caring for her now three month-old son, Kase. (I still think of “cheese” whenever I hear that kid’s name, I can’t help it!) Jewel impressed me so much with her story. This may be old news to some of you, so please humor me while I repeat it. I vaguely remember hearing that Jewel went through some hard times at the beginning of her career, but I never knew how desperate it was for her. She told Kathy Lee and Hoda that she was living out of her car after her boss fired her for not accepting his sexual advances. Then she was very sick with kidney problems and couldn’t get admitted to the hospital because she didn’t have insurance.

I pretended it was fine, I pretended it was cool but [whispers] it really wasn’t.
On being homeless and not being able to afford medical care
I ended up homeless because my boss propositioned me and when I wouldn’t sleep with him he didn’t give me my paycheck. I got kicked out of where I was living my rent was due that next day. I thought “Well, I’ll live in my car for a minute… get back on my feet,” but I had bad kidneys and I never could hold down another job because I got sick so often. I didn’t have insurance and ended up almost dying in the parking lot of an emergency room because they wouldn’t admit me because I didn’t have insurance. I ended up homeless for about a month and I went back to singing.
I’ve always loved the song “Who Will Save Your Soul,” and now that I know Jewel’s backstory it makes so much sense to me. She sings about sexual harassment at work, not being able to afford the bills, and feeling less worthy than other people. If it takes a famous singer to remind us of the fact that there are people who are not getting treatment that they need, so be it. Half of all bankruptcies in America are caused by medical bills.

If this isn?t one of the most awful wigs I?ve ever seen. Surely this isn?t Kate Hudson?s real hair, right? Because this junk is busted. I think Kate has done shades of brunette before, although I honestly can?t recall any big Kate-as-a-brunette style moment. She?s spent almost all of her career as a blonde. And now we see why, and it?s not just the stiff-looking, budget wiglet. Kate looks so much better as a blonde. Maybe it?s just this shade of brown? It?s too dark.

Kate just gave birth to little Bingham Bellamy in July, and it looks like her figure bounced back pretty quickly too. She had a much easier time with this pregnancy than with her first one. Anyway, this film is directed by Mira Nair and it?s about? a Pakistani man who lives in America and begins to feel hatred and disgust for America. You can read a summary of the book here. Some say Kate is playing the narrator?s girlfriend/fiance. Serious stuff for Kate? and the busted wig isn?t inspiring confidence that she?s bringing weight to the subject matter.

Just shoot me in the face now, because not only did I watch part of Kim Kardashian?s wedding special, I?m also prepared to talk about it. Granted, it made me sick so I ended up changing the channel after about 10 minutes, so I never saw anything past the ?she?s picking out a dress from all of the sketches she got? part. But dear God, Kris Humphries is a much bigger douche than I originally thought. He?s such a horrible d-bag, I?m kind of rooting for Kim to get out of this marriage, and I?ll take her side and everything. Sure, I think Kim talked him into the marriage and wedding because he?s a dumbass who can be easily manipulated. But there?s also a reason why he was ripe for Kim?s devious machinations: he?s a moron, he?s rude, he?s unpleasant, and no other (sane) chick would touch that with a ten-foot pole.
Now, is he so awful, he only deserves a Kardashian? I?ll say this: I felt a twinge of sympathy for Kim, I honestly did. I?m not saying she didn?t ask for this, or that this wasn?t the story line she was hoping for (?Catfaced famewhore marries douche, chaos ensues?), but I?m saying that I feel bad that she has to spend time with someone who is clearly a douche. And so goes another fairy tale romance down the drain. Like anybody really thought Kim and Kris would last, I know. So, what are the theories on how this is all going to play out? Here?s my guess: Kim and Kris will stay married, but in the months to come, Kim is going to be ?traveling? more on ?business? - just to stay away from Kris. And then Kris will cheat on her and it will become public and Kim will file for divorce and play the ?wronged woman? storyline. And babies will never happen. I see that all going down within a year.

Enjoying some time in the Big Apple, Kelly Clarkson was spotted arriving at her hotel in New York City last night (October 11).
The ?I Do Not Hook Up? songstress smiled for the cameras as she strolled inside, sporting a makeup-free complexion and ponytail hairdo.
In a recent interview, Kelly discussed the inspiration behind her new album Stronger- a desire to control her career herself.
?I think that?s why we kind of went with the whole Stronger theme because it?s the first time everybody working around me and at the record company really agreed and worked together really well.?
?More people are comfortable and know me better and I know them better. It feels good. I feel the thing I?m most proud of is that I?ve always done what I wanted and that?s been really hard in the past. I?ve had to earn their trust and now I?m saying, ?I?ve written you a lot of number ones, OK, I?m not just a one-hit wonder here.?
?The whole album is very empowering. I guess personally I kind of feel more like that because now it?s my fifth record, I?m 10 years in, I know myself a little better, I feel a little stronger.?

As CB talked about yesterday, Kristen Stewart?s full GQ UK interview has come out. Last week, I had the earliest excerpts here and here (as well as the photo shoot), but what got the most attention was Kristen?s admission that ALL of her teachers failed her. On Breaking Dawn: ?Yes, we?re finished. Filmed every scene? It?s so rare in a career to feel that a chapter is closing but there?s something final about this. No more epic, iconic scnenes?I was nervous for the wedding scene. When I looked at the set, with the pews and the lights, and I could see everyone was there in all their outfits, I cried. God, that f***ing dress! I was stuck in that thing for a week; I could hardly move. But it felt incredibly ceremonial. It felt like a real wedding.?
Her bodyguard: ?The big jump for me, I guess, was having security. And I mean, going everywhere with you. Just a big guy standing next to me the whole time. JB is his name ? that?s my guy. And he would kill me for saying this, but even he has a goddamn fan site. All these girls have identified him and he?s now known as ?HBG? ? Hottie Bodyguard.?
On the craziness surrounding Twilight: ?Sure. I mean, people are crazy. Everyone does what they have to do to protect themselves, but it would be fake for me to sit here and say people are not crazy. I?m sure lots of people shy away from this question as they want to make sure they look 100 per cent appreciative all the time and that everything is the most amazing thing always? But at the end of the line, people are f***ing crazy! I would have been very happy just working from job to job, paying my rent one movie at a time. I never wanted to be this famous. I never imagined this life for myself.?
?Her first proper role?: It was in the independent film The Safety Of Objects, originally an AM Homes book about dysfunction and turmoil in small-town America. Kristen played the tomboy daughter of a troubled single mother (Patricia Clarkson). ?I got Safety? towards the end of that period where I thought I should keep acting. As a little kid, you audition for so many f***ing goddamn embarrassing parts ? and my words would have been pretty much the same at that age too??
On her expletive-ridden language: ?I would be like, ?No. Way.? Which is why I never got offered very many of those roles. I would just go though the motions. Even while starting out I took things very seriously; I wasn?t the sort of kid that would do a doll commercial or do a series for Nickelodeon. They asked me to do silly things, and I wasn?t a silly kid.?
She?s always been this hardcore: ?It?s funny. I picked an old backpack out of the closet the other day, one I used to wear all the time as a teenager. It?s covered with anarchy signs, all these quotes and these metal studs. I was like, ?Wow, you must have really liked how that looked!? Despite what people think, I was such a rule follower at school. I loved the whole slacker look, like, ?Hey, I don?t care, whatever,? but if I didn?t turn my homework in, I would panic.?
On acting: ?I don?t want to discredit people?s individuality, bit I think people are pretty much the same. People are very similar. If you have a good enough imagination then you can feel things that you personally have never done before. That?s acting.?
On pretensions: ?I think when I was younger, I was trying very hard to sound unpretentious. At that age, I was so bitterly self-conscious, and so desperate not to sound like a total douche. I don?t feel like that at all now. I think it was something I heard my parents say.? Kristen?s parents work in the film industry, as crew members, solid blue-collar liberals, behind the camera. ?My folks have always given me hell for how easy I have it,? Kristen admits. ?My dad would say stuff like, ?Oh, just go and sit in your trailer, practise your lines, and go lie for a living.? It was something I said as a kid. Don?t worry, I have a much more pretentious view of acting nowadays.?
On working out: ?I?ve never worked out before. Now I?m only allowed to eat stuff out of a box. It works. Also, I feel more energised and stronger. It took me a long time to realise that I was a girl as a teenager. At that point I never really believed it. I looked like a boy for a long time. Now, finally, I feel like a woman.?

I?ll say what I always say about Kristen: it?s takes a lot of thought and a lot of effort to be that self-aware, neurotic and ?uncomfortable?. I think it?s just an act, her public persona, but feel free to disagree. In addition to those additional GQ excerpts, there?s also this expletive-ridden piece too:
You know this character so well, what’s it like to take her through this huge change when she becomes a vampire herself?
Kristen: It felt good. It was really weird. It was such a long process of the two movies being shot at the same time as if they’re one. You shoot, obviously, out of order and you keep going back and forth between pregnant, human and dead vampire Bella. There’s so many different versions of Bella in this, it’s insane. It was a strange experience walking on set the first time I played a scene as a vampire because I’d watched everyone around me doing it all the time. I sound so lame, but vampire Bella really is my favorite character?she’s very representative of a matriarch. She’s very intuitive on almost a psychic level and no one ever acknowledges it, which is interesting. Maybe that says something about Stephenie that she doesn’t get respect for all of her f–king amazing qualities. And that’s also one of the things that makes her appealing to me, so that’s not a strike at it?that’s something that I like about it. And I think it’s nice to see her finally get what she wants. That’s probably the best thing, even if it sounds simple and indulgent, which is why the f–king thing is criticized all the time. It’s nice to see people be happy. And she really?if I’ve played it right?is born to be where she is.
You’re shooting Snow White and the Huntsman right now which imagines Snow White as this warrior princess. What’s her fighting style like?
Kristen: Not to trivialize it at all, but it’s hard to play an action hero who is also the most compassionate person on earth. You can’t hate. You epitomize bleeding hearts, so how the f–k do you do an action movie like that? She is sort of the last shred of hope for her land. She has this ethereal, spiritual connection to her people?she really feels things-and so it’s like we don’t really feel empathy. I’ve had some f–king eye-opening experiences on this movie. I think that to truly care for something isn’t just putting yourself in that situation aesthetically and then going, “Oh my god, I feel so bad for them.” It’s truly not thinking of yourself at all. The way that you fight is that you must take out anything that hurt your people. Basically, I’m fighting evil?I’m fighting the most evil motherf–kers-and it’s fine that they’re being killed. It’s anguish. It’s literally f–king anguish. She takes absolutely no pleasure in ever hurting anything. I’m exhausted right now and I was thinking, “The fight stuff is coming up, maybe that won’t be so bad.” And then I realized that they’re probably going to be my most emotional scenes because I’m killing people and I’m Snow White. It’s a really f–king cool way to approach a movie where so many people die. Not that I’m criticizing violent movies?I love them, generally?but it is nice to do it this way.

I was feeling nothing but disgust at the idea of Kristen as a ?warrior princess? version of Snow White, but then I saw those images from the other Snow White, the one with Unibrow McBusted and Julia Roberts. Now I?m kind of looking forward to Kristen?s version. And just a word about Kristen?s language? look, I cuss like a sailor too, but once again, Kristen?s ?blue language? seems like a put-on. Like she?s doing it for a more ?hardcore? effect, like a little girl who just learned those words and now thinks she?s all hip.

I think it was last week that there were some new Dita Von Teese photos that we didn?t have access to. I was really disappointed, because in those photos, she was wearing one of the most magnificent red dresses I?ve ever seen in my life. Go here to see those photos - I think the dress is Dior. The dress is Herve L. Leroux. It?s fantastic! It might be slightly boring on another woman, but look at how Dita works it. Some of you say that Dita isn?t actually that pretty - I disagree. I think she has a pretty face, but the way she carries herself and styles herself, she becomes beautiful. You know my favorite part? I love her hairstyle in these photos. My hair would never be able to take and/or sustain those curls. I want to be reincarnated as Dita.

Salma already covered the new issue of Redbook, where she was discussing how she loves making her own money while being married to a billionaire. In this new Latina Magazine cover story, Salma is once again talking about her marriage, but this time it?s not all rah-rah-feminism-money stuff. I personally don?t care, because I don?t think Salma means that housewives and mothers are somehow ?less than? women who work outside of the home. I think this was an episode of The West Wing, right? Stockard Channing/Abby Bartlett said ?just a wife and mother? and it was a political scandal during Pres. Bartlett’s re-election campaign?
As for her comments on Botox? do you believe her? Salma doesn?t have a frozen cat face, nor does she look puffy, waxy, filled-in or jacked. I kind of buy her ?no Botox? claims, honestly. I think she takes really great care of her skin and she eats right, and doing THAT is so much better than getting tweaked and worked on. Now, if you told me she had a nose job, I wouldn?t balk.

Back in April, as the ?Arab Spring? was in full effect after the successful protests in Egypt, Libyans decided that they wanted a piece of democracy too. Libya has been under the control of Moammar Gadhafi for decades, and in the protests/revolution/uprising/civil war that came next, thousands were left homeless, and thousands simply crossed over the Libyan border, hoping to find a better life. Angelina Jolie met with some of those refugees in April, on the Tunisian-Libyan border camps that had sprung up during the Arab Spring - go here for our coverage of that trip. Anyway, Jolie is back in Libya, but this time she?s not acting in her official capacity with the UNHCR. A UNHCR spokesperson says that she?s made the trip ?in a personal capacity? - although she?s meeting with aid agencies and UN teams. Angelina gave an exclusive statement to Reuters while she was on the ground:
Actress and U.N. goodwill ambassador Angelina Jolie was in Libya on Tuesday for a visit to help agencies bringing aid to Libyans in Tripoli and Misrata, she said in a statement provided to Reuters.
“I have come to Libya for a variety of reasons, to see a country in transition at every level and to witness efforts to fully realise the promise of the Arab Spring,” Jolie said. “The country faces a host of challenges, including internally displaced people, refugees, rule of law, security, sanitation, education, health and other humanitarian needs. All of these pieces must be delivered and coordinated properly in an environment of reconciliation and justice.”
The two-day trip was Jolie’s first to Libya, but she previously visited Libyan refugees in Malta and on the Italian island of Lampedusa in June, and went to Tunisia in April to appeal for international support for people fleeing the revolution there.
Jolie is an ambassador for the United Nations refugee agency UNHCR and is expected to announce an expanded role soon.
On her Libya trip, she met representatives from UNHCR, Medecins Sans Frontieres and local non-governmental organisations delivering assistance to Libyans in Misrata and Tripoli.
“I will be meeting with officials from all sides but above all, listening to the local people in the street. I am here to express solidarity with them. It is the work of rebuilding and recovery that will determine Libya’s future.”

I wonder why the UNHCR doesn?t want their fingerprints on this trip? Maybe the situation is a political hot potato and they?re just letting Angelina get out in front of it? I don?t get the politics of it. You know what interests me? How did Angelina get into the country? Did she just fly commercial from Budapest or London, into Tripoli? Or did she hitch a ride on a UN plane? I know it?s not particularly deep, but I?m always amazed by Angelina?s low-key, no-drama traveling.
Oh, there are even more quotes here, in another Reuters article. Jolie praised the revolutionaries, saying:
“What’s extraordinary … is that a lot of the people who are part of the solution and are working in positions of even military, and you find that just before the revolution they had retired, or were running restaurants or were selling baby clothes and they’ve all quit their jobs and they are all working here now on behalf of their country. They have all lost family members … they’ve suffered casualties themselves, they’ve lost limbs themselves and yet they’re all really fighting for something they believe in, and for the future of the country for their children, so it’s quite moving.”
“I’m also here on behalf of the Libyan people to show them solidarity. I think this revolution on behalf of human rights, which is what I feel these people really have been doing and what they have pushed for, and to help them to implement these new laws and help them with the future of their country.”

Here?s what I don?t understand: why is everyone bending over backwards to insult and patronize Beyonce?s critics? Ever since the video of Beyonce?s Sunday Night interview came out - complete with her baby bump ?magically? folding in on itself as she sat down, Bey?s stans have been pulling out their hair that anyone would dare question The Beyonce Bump. She?s a celebrity, not Jesus. She?s not untouchable, and in my mind, I think it?s perfectly valid to ask ?WTF?? when viewing the collapsing ?bump?. You want to see it again?
Now legitimate, mainstream media outlets are getting into to it too - from People and Us Weekly to ABC News and the Washington Post. They?ve all run stories about the ?bump conspiracies?. It?s getting so bad Beyonce?s publicist Yvette Noel-Schure even had to come out and do some damage control, telling ABC News, ?Stupid, ridiculous and false.? BITCH PLEASE.
But since everybody is debating the bump and whether or not it?s real and why it looks like it?s collapsing on itself, let me just lay out my theory. I?m sorry I haven?t done this clearly before now, but I thought I already said some of this when the bump conspiracies came out. My conspiracy theory:
* Beyonce is actually pregnant. This is not a surrogate situation where Beyonce is wearing a fake bump to simply pretend she?s pregnant, and she?s going to pass off a someone else?s baby as her own.
*It?s debatable whether she?s due in February, but that?s what she claims, so I?m guessing it?s probably true-ish. Maybe the baby will be ?late? and she?ll end up giving birth in March. We?ll see. My take is that she?s not as far along as everyone thinks she is. If she?s due in late February/early March, that means she?s about 4-and-a-half months right now.
*Beyonce is wearing a fake bump for the simplest of reasons: famewhorin?. She started wearing a prosthetic bump at the VMAs, when she did her big bump ?debut? - when she was only about 12 weeks along and she magically had a nice-sized ?bump? which she cradled lovingly for the cameras. She didn?t have a big enough bump on her own (remember how flat and fit she was just days earlier?), and she wanted to be the center of attention at the VMAs. She strapped on a prosthetic, and she created her own media-storm.
*For why? Because her latest album sucked, and it was the worst-reviewed album of Bey?s career. Beyonce did what any good con artist does: draws your eye to something else. Plus, she now gets to play the ?I?m going to be a mother!? card to the hilt and introduce herself to the Mother Mafia fanbase.
*So now that Bey is presumably showing, why is she still wearing a prosthetic bump? I don?t know. But I do know that over the past month and half, every time Beyonce is photographed, her bump is a different size, and it goes up and down constantly. I honestly think Bey just wants the visual to be very powerful, and she thinks wearing a fake bump will be a bigger impact. Sometimes. Other times, she still wants to wander around NYC in a what amounts to a blouse and nothing else.
*Epilogue conspiracy theory: It might have something to do with deflecting attention from her recently tweaked face too. Several months ago, Bey debuted a new ?look? that I?ve had difficulty describing. I think it?s a nose job, but there?s something else in the eyebrows/eyes too. Now she gets to say that her face just changed because of pregnancy, I guess.

There are twenty-million new photos of Gwyneth Paltrow and Mark Ruffalo (mostly Gwyneth) on the NYC film set of Thanks For Sharing. They were filming in Central Park yesterday, in a scene that seems to have involved Dame Goop deigning to ?jog? and ?ride a velocipede? (her words). So what?s the big deal? A few things - one, Gwyneth looks cute in these photos. I?ve begun to think she?s almost always prettier when she?s not all Goop?d up for a red carpet. When her hair is out of the ponytail, she looks especially good. Whoever is doing the makeup for the film is doing a bang-up job.
As for the film, did you know that Gwyneth plays a sex addict? How gauche! Thanks for Sharing stars Goop, Ruffalo, Tim Robbins, Joely Richardson and Pink, amongst others. The plot:
Dramatic comedy follows a group of unlikely friends brought together through their shared determination to recover from sex addiction as they try to forge meaningful relationships for the first time in their lives?. Paltrow will play Phoebe, a successful businesswoman who falls for Ruffalo’s character, while Richardson will play Katie, the wife of Robbins’ character.

The director is Stuart Blumberg, who also wrote the screenplay - he was nominated for an Oscar for his The Kids Are All Right screenplay. Did we ever talk about Kids? I thought it was a really overrated film - yes, Annette and Julianne Moore were great, but the script had big issues.

I bet Mark likes Gwyneth in general, because she always seems to charm other actors, but I?ve got to wonder about their potential for long-term friendship. Mark is an urban hippie who lives a quiet life with his wife and kids. Dame Gwyneth is a self-styled princess who bathes herself in luxury. Now THAT has potential for a romantic comedy.

Making her first trip to the Persian Gulf locale, Kim Kardashian arrived safe and sound in Dubai, United Arab Emirates after flying in from New York City on Tuesday (October 11).
In town to do a little promotional work, the E! reality star was escorted from the airport to the Atlantis Palms hotel, tweeting upon reaching her destination, Just touched down in Dubai! I'm so happy to be here!"
Kim wrote a short while later, " Wow I'm in such awe over Dubai! My hotel is so insane,can't wait to do some blogs & show u guys! Too much to tweet! I'm obsessed with Dubai!"
The 30-year-old also posted a message about her just-aired E! wedding special, which ended up pulling in quite the impressive number of viewers.

The 48-year-old actress is featured in a brand new batch of holiday ads for the specialty apparel retail chain stores unveiled on Wednesday (October 12).
According to WWD, Miss Moore's campaign images were shot by Norman Jean Roy in a Los Angeles studio, with the final adverts set to be featured in December issues of Vogue, Elle and InStyle along with outdoor billboards in major cities such as New York, Chicago, Boston and Washington, D.C.
Talking about the Ann Taylor efforts, Demi said, ?It has been a true pleasure to continue my collaboration with Ann Taylor. I loved working with Norman Jean Roy. He was an amazing collaborator. His creative vision, direction and ability to create the magical winter wonderland scene was remarkable.?

Delving into what's sure to be an enjoyable and exciting project, Olivia Munn was looking as hot as ever on the Tampa set of "Magic Mike" on Tuesday (October 11).
The bikini-clad 31-year-old joined up with co-stars Channing Tatum and Matthew McConaughey as the trio boarded a boat for the day's shoot before heading back to shore and their respective trailers.

Grabbing up a tasty midday meal, Ashley Greene was spotted out for lunch in Brentwood, CA on Tuesday afternoon (October 11).
The lovely actress looked casual cute in a grey and black striped top, jeans and kneehigh boots as she strolled inside Tavern restaurant for a bite to eat.
Miss Greene is currently enjoying a little downtime before setting off on her "Twilight" promotional tour ahead of the November 18th release of "Breaking Dawn".
The 24-year-old recently spoke about playing her Alice Cullen character during a Women's Health South Africa interview, saying, "She just gets more interesting. She's very complex and I want to find out more about her, about every glance, every look."
As for whether she thought the vampire-based franchise would ever have gotten so popular, Ashley dished, "No way! When we started, we were making a small-budget, independent film and the schedules were pretty tight. But then it all went ballistic; it's phenomenal. Who would have predicted that?"

A lot of people think celebrities are self-entitled brats who have no concept of the real world anymore because they’re surrounded by sycophants. Luckily Kristen Stewart is here to dispel that myth.
In Britain’s GQ magazine, Kristen says her former teachers “failed” to support her while she was out acting and refused to help her catch up on school work while she was shooting on location. She explains that they pretty much forced her into home schooling.
“School became genuinely uncomfortable,” she says.
“I was feeling a little self-conscious about the acting thing with my peers, but also my teachers became a problem. They didn’t want to do the extra work or put packages together so I could keep up while away.
“They failed me. My teachers failed me. Not one, but all of them. I’m always slightly ashamed in a way, about what I do. I’m slightly embarrassed as I had such serious ambitions when I was younger, I just never imagined that I would ever have a reason not go to school. But then this happened.” The Age
Yea, f**k those teachers for not giving actresses special treatment. You’re telling me these teachers could manage a classroom full of kids for 8 hours at a time but couldn’t take three hours out of their day to create a package tailored to one of their students who’s never in class because they’re traveling around the world shooting movies? This is what’s wrong with the American education system these days. Not enough preferential treatment.
