Susan Sarandon is talking about plastic surgery! And she?s admitting to it! Epic. Here?s something that?s weird though: Susan admitted that she had ?some lipo under my chin and under my eyes? in a new, exclusive interview with People Magazine, but People Mag didn?t lead with that admission in their online story. Not only did that refuse to lead with it – they didn?t even include it in the online edition. Other outlets are simply crediting People Magazine, in what I?m assuming is a more extensive article in the print edition. WTF? Here?s the People piece, with the quotes culled from the print edition:
If you want the truth about aging in Hollywood, ask Susan Sarandon.
“It’s true there aren’t that many good parts,” the outspoken actress, 65, says in an interview in the new issue of PEOPLE. “I’ve had my disappointments. It’s hard to be in this business and not be an alcoholic or a drug addict or bitter as an older woman.”
But, she adds, “that’s one of the things you have to make your peace with ? or get out of the business because everyone has those moments. I’m not the only one.”
At an age when many actresses are relegated to granny roles, Sarandon mixes it up with such unexpected cameos as a seductive teacher on 30 Rock and Andy Samberg’s mom in Saturday Night Live’s “Motherlover” skit.
In her latest movie Jeff, Who Lives at Home, she plays an uptight mom dealing with two dysfunctional adult sons (Ed Helms and Jason Segel). Of course, she shows her sensual side, too: “It’s really more of an attitude than it is being naked,” she says.
Before she even hit 40, Sarandon was informed that her sexy days were over. “I was told by John Cassavetes when I did The Tempest never to be a mom because I would not be sensual anymore,” says the actress. Her reaction? “I think I laughed.”
Sarandon went on to have three kids: her actress daughter with Italian film director Franco Amurri, Eva Amurri, 27, and two sons with her former partner Tim Robbins, Jack, 22, and Miles, 19. And she definitely still has sizzle. “I’m happy to be considered desirable.” she says. “I love it!”
Besides, she says, “I think there’s a lot of guys who like strong women. Maybe because women have raised sons who have different expectations. I think we can take some credit for that!”
As for plastic surgery, Sarandon says, “I’ve had some lipo under my chin and under my eyes.”
And the actress says she would consider getting Botox injections as long as doctors don’t go overboard.
She adds, “I have these two huge frown lines here (on my forehead). But if you can’t move your face or you’re unrecognizable, I don’t see how that’s a productive enhancement. You don’t want to look like a female impersonation of yourself.”

Media relations aside, what do you think of Susan?s lipo admission? I?m slightly disappointed, just because I thought she was all-natural. But I like that she admits it – and says what she had done specifically. I looked through these recent photos of Susan, seeing if I could detect the work? and I can?t really. Which is a good sign. It?s not like Susan?s revelation brought a ?No sh-t, Sherlock? moment for me, at least. Even though she had lipo under her eyes (probably to remove the bags, right?), I can?t tell that she messed with her eyes at all. It?s not like a Kate Winslet situation where we?re just supposed to accept that her eyes are now pulled and tweaked, and we?re supposed to think that?s ?natural?. Susan doesn?t look pulled, or tweaked or jacked. Yay?

Admittedly, I just looked at the photos because after reading the first sentence, I realized I’d have no idea what the hell they were going to talk about. Victoria Beckham finally made it into American Vogue! Alas, it is not a cover. But I?m sure Posh feels this is a step in the right direction. Today it?s a lengthy feature about the success of her fashion lines, maybe in a year it will be a cover profile. I quite like the Craig McDean photo of Posh – she looks young! You can read the whole Vogue profile here – it?s a really nice piece. Posh seems like a very level-headed woman who is doing what she loves. Here are some highlights:
Posh uses Tracy Anderson: She is perching her daughter, five-month-old Harper Seven Beckham, on one hip, but truth to tell there isn?t much of a perch; Victoria retrieved her finely honed form after the birth of her fourth child (Harper joins her whimsically named brothers, Brooklyn Joseph, thirteen; Romeo James, nine; and Cruz David, seven) via a strenuous workout regimen with the fitness guru Tracy Anderson, to whom Gwyneth Paltrow introduced her. ?I worked out a lot,? says Victoria. ?I ran a lot. I did it six days a week. I become quite obsessive when I get into something,? she adds.
Her design evolution: ?At first, I wanted clothes that people would associate with me,? she says. ?I was probably a little bit more self-conscious then?I was afraid to wear things that weren?t super-supertight. In those days, I wore a lot of corsetry. That was a sign of my own insecurities. By season three or four, I started doing a lot more research about things that I didn?t like. And I started challenging myself. Now that I feel more confident, creatively I feel more satisfied. It doesn?t have to be tight. I love working with volume and draping away from the body.? Her newly launched Victoria line allows for further experimentation. It is ?easier, a little more relaxed,? she explains. ?It?s the other half of my wardrobe.?
She likes it streamlined: ?I?ve always had to make the best of what I?ve got,? she tells me. ?I?ve never been a six-foot-tall, skinny model [she is five feet four], so therefore I want to create an illusion. People always think I?m taller than I am?not just because of the shoes I wear but because of the way I dress. It?s all relatively streamlined.?
They barely live at Beckingham Palace: Although the Beckhams have a sprawling neo-Georgian manse two hours? drive north in the Hertfordshire countryside (the British press facetiously refers to it as Beckingham Palace), Victoria and Harper have decamped to the Savoy. ?It?s too much time to be spending in the car,? Victoria explains. ?Four hours a day when I could be being productive!?
Skyping in her pajamas at her LA home: ?That?s the good thing about living in L.A.,? she notes. ?I?ll work early in the morning and then I?ll work late at night, but once England and New York go to bed, I have a little bit of time here. David and I make sure our schedules revolve around the kids. Because we are really focused on what we do workwise, it allows us to be balanced.?
Winning a design award: In 2011, Victoria was nominated for the British Fashion Council?s Designer Brand award (fellow nominees included Tom Ford, Stella McCartney, and Burberry).?When they read my name, I literally felt like my heart was going to jump out of my body,? she tells me, adding that this accolade meant so much more to her than any of her music awards. ?I?m so appreciative of my past. I respect all the girls and really enjoyed what I did then, but this is what I love to do. I didn?t plan on getting up in front of the whole British fashion industry and not keeping my cool, but I was overwhelmed; I cried three times.?
Not moving to Paris: The New Year has dawned, and I?m in Los Angeles to experience a slice of Victoria?s Los Angeles life. Before Christmas, Victoria had no idea whether her family would be uprooted and moved to Paris, where David was being courted by the Paris Saint-Germain soccer team, or staying put in Los Angeles, which she loves. ?I?m definitely a glass-is-always-half-full, not half-empty, kind of person,? she says. ?Which is why I love living in America.? By the New Year, the decision had been made; the family will stay in Los Angeles. ?It would have been fun for David to play in Europe again?he?s not getting any younger,? says Victoria. ?And Paris would have been very exciting for me, career-wise, but we came to the conclusion that it?s all about the children?they?re the most important people here. Also, David came here to raise the profile of soccer in America; I?m really proud of him, but his job is not done yet.?
Victoria is a committed soccer mom. ?Other than Fashion Week, I?ve never missed anything,? she says. ?Someone once asked my son Cruz, ?When?s your birthday?? and he told them, ?It?s just after Fashion Week!??

That Cruz story is particularly adorable, isn?t it? The Vogue article is worth reading just for the description of Posh and Becks? amazing LA house. She describes how she decorated everything before David came to LA, and it?s all pretty amazing.
Last thing – Posh cooks! Allegedly. Posh tweeted the photo below and claimed that she cooked all of that for her son?s school?s ?International Food Day?. Rii-ight.

I have mixed feelings about this Gwyneth Paltrow story. I feel like The Sun (a British rag) is trying to make it seem like ?Goop speaks to her father?s spirit, isn?t she CRAZY?? when in reality, I think she just misses her dad. Bruce Paltrow died 10 years ago, and Gwyneth consistently references him in interview after interview, and she even made her cookbook all about the lessons that Bruce gave her. Incidentally, I wonder why Gwyneth seems to negate her mother?s influence in her life – Gwyneth rarely says anything about Blythe Danner. Anyway? Gwyneth seems to have given an exclusive interview to The Sun, which is sketchy because The Sun reported yesterday that Gwyneth is trying to start a bitch-fight with Kate Moss. Why the exclusive?
Gwyneth Paltrow says she chats to her late dad’s wedding ring ? as it contains his spirit. The star claims she has been in regular contact with Bruce Paltrow since his death from throat cancer.
Gwyneth, 39, added in an emotional interview: “I always hold on to his wedding ring. I ask it questions, I feel like it keeps me safe. I really sense the energy of his soul, I don’t think that evaporates. I feel my dad, I still feel his love, I still speak to him and I still love him.”
TV and film director Bruce died in Rome in 2002 while celebrating his daughter’s 30th birthday.
Gwyneth, who won the best actress Oscar for Shakespeare In Love in 1998, blames his death at 58 on smoking. But she says it had a positive effect by turning her into a fitness freak.
She added: “Half the reason my life is good and has real, true value is that he died. I’d obviously rather have him alive, but he gave me so much in his death.”
Gwyneth now has a strict exercise and yoga regime, avoids carbs and sticks to a diet of grains, fruit and veg that matches her blood type.
When Bruce became ill she tried to get him on healthy food like gluten-free noodles ? but he said it tasted like newspaper.
Her Coldplay star hubby Chris Martin dedicated a song to Bruce on his X&Y album in 2005.
In 2006 Gwyneth claimed the couple’s London home was haunted by 19th-century classical musician Adolphus White, who died there.

Stepping out to greet photographers after a photo shoot, Gwen Stefani was spotted leaving a local studio in Los Angeles on Wednesday (March 21).
The No Doubt singer/fashion designer looked rocker chic in a white biker jacket, grey trousers and yellow heels as she made her way out while offering up a friendly wave to paparazzi.
The photo shoot comes just after Miss Stefani spoke openly with British magazine Closer about trying to juggle her hectic lifestyle.
Though the 42-year-old hasn?t been as busy in the music business lately, she has been working on a new album with her bandmates, of which she told, "I've never been able to balance being a mom and my singing career - it's a nightmare!"
Gwen, who is a mother to two sons, Kingston, 5, and Zuma, 3, added that - even though she may have a full plate - family always come first, explaining, ?I love my boys, so if there's a decision to make, they come first."

Getting back to her southern roots, Kelly Clarkson has converted her pop hit "Mr. Know It All" into a brand new version suitable for country radio.
Revealing that she worked with musician Dann Huff for the remake, the Texas native tweeted, "I hope y'all like it!! I had a lot of fun recutting the song and getting the opportunity to work with Dann!"
This bold step could be Clarkson's way of transitioning into the new genre - which quite possibly stems from encouragement by her new beau, who happens to be a southern boy!
Earlier this week, Kelly revealed that she's dating country singer Reba McIntyre's step-son, Brandon Blackstock, who is a talent manager.

It was later confirmed by People Magazine, who only got a confirmation from a ?friend? not Reese?s rep. It still means that Reese is pregnant, but it also means that she?s playing some kind of PR game. And now that I?ve gotten a chance to read Us Weekly?s full cover story, I think I know what that game is. It?s along the lines of ?My movies are bombing so I?m going to take some ?time off? and pretend that the time off is my choice, not that I?m doing crappy movies (and no one wants me for good movies), and after the baby I?ll have a big career COMEBACK!? Something like that:
A friend tells Us Weekly, ?Reese and Jim were trying to get pregnant. This wasn?t a surprise? her kids are at an age where they are busy with friends and lives of their own? it will be nice for her to be able to do it all over again with her new husband.?
Jim Toth ?really wanted a baby,? the friend says. ?Before Jim met Reese, he wasn?t sure about having kids. Being around her kids has really shown him what it?s all about.?
A source calls Reese and Jim refreshingly normal: ?They?re not a ?movie star? couple? Reese makes Jim and the kids a priority. They?re together a lot? Reese doesn?t like to travel for too long and be away.?

That?s very interesting, isn?t it? That Us Weekly story was epic, by the way. I only culled the most interesting quotes. First, ?She not telling a lot of people, just close friends and family?AND US WEEKLY.? Because after reading that story, I know for sure that Reese and her team had a hand in it, which means that Reese and her team sold the story to Us Weekly under the auspices of ?Make Reese look like such a down-home mother!? Also, I?m fascinated that Reese wants her husband to manage her post-baby career. That could either be the best thing that happens to her, or it will destroy their marriage (and her career). It all depends on whether Jim treats Reese like his wife, his equal partner, or if he treats like a temperamental actress in need of coddling. How do you separate those two issues if you?re Jim Toth?

The last time we discussed JustJen (Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux), it was last week?s tabloid onslaught – all of the tabs seemed to claim that Justin and Jennifer were having some relationship problems, but everyone had a different idea about what the root of the problem was. Perhaps it was Justin?s cozy ?bidness? meeting with two women? Perhaps it was his ongoing friendship with his ex, Heidi Bivens? Perhaps it was Jennifer ignoring Justin?s clean, modern style sensibilities as she began to transform their new Bel Air mansion into a 1970s shag-pad? Us Weekly has some evidence to back up that last one. Apparently, Aniston is sparing no expense for the refurbishment of their gigantic Bel Air mansion. And it really does seem like she?s picking everything out:
Jennifer Aniston?s future sure looks bright! A source tells Hot Stuff that during a March 5 visit to NYC, ?Jen picked out $20,000 worth of lights? at B4 It Was Cool, a high-end vintage lighting store, for her new 8,5000-square-foot, $21 million mansion in Bel Air.
And just 10 days later in West Hollywood, she and beau Justin Theroux browsed specialty furniture at the exclusive Melrose Project. While the actress, 43, decides on dcor, construction is under way on the house.
?It needs several months of work, both interior and exterior,? says a source. Yet the move can?t come soon enough for the star and Theroux, who have already outgrown their tiny Hollywood Hills rental.
?They?re anxious to get out,? says the insider. ?Their puppy needs more space, and Jen has been worried that the dog?s been messing up the place!?

On one side, I feel like whoever is paying for the house and the furnishings (Aniston) gets to decide on the style. On the other side, I don?t really like Aniston?s interior design sensibilities, and I would like to see her make a concerted effort to blend her darker, more ?comfortable,? 1970s-influenced style with Justin?s cleaner, modern style. It doesn?t have to be all of nothing, you know. Also: ten bucks says that those lighting fixtures were from the 1970s.
In other JustJen news, In Touch Weekly (via Jezebel) claims this week that Aniston is ?so desperate? to be a mom that she?s ?mothering? Justin by ?controlling his social life, fixing his hair, directing his career, and dictating his style.? Basically, we?re supposed to just blame Aniston for The Shane Warne-ing of Justin Theroux.

Paying a visit to the late night circuit, Kim Kardashian stopped by the ?Tonight Show with Jay Leno? at NBC Studios in Burbank, CA on Wednesday (March 21).
The brunette bombshell looked stunning in a white knee length dress with a floral lace embellished neckline while accessorizing with a white jade bracelet from Elizabeth Taylor and a slicked back ponytail.
Doing her best to bring in viewers, Miss Kardashian took to her Twitter page earlier in the day to remind fans of the television appearance, as she tweeted, ?I'm on 'The Tonight Show' tonight 11.30pm on NBC http://bit.ly/GFk51G See you soon @JayLeno!?
Though we haven?t heard much talk of it yet, Leno got right to the questions everyone has been dying to hear about - including the ?Keeping Up With the Kardashians? starlet's 72 day marriage with NBA player Kris Humphries.
The 31-year-old reality royalty explained that, when she knew the marriage wasn?t working anymore, she had to end it, saying, ?I hear stories of people that were married for ten years, but they knew it wasn?t right, but they wanted to stick it out and then they involved kids. I want that forever and I believed in love, I still do, but I felt to be fair to everyone I knew I had to end it and I?m ok with that decision?
Kim also admitted that, when the whole thing happened, she wasn?t expecting it to bring such a firestorm, telling, ?I didn?t know that the media would be so brutal with it, but I learned so many lessons about it and its changed who I am as a person I think for the better and the things that I care about in life have completely changed because of this so I really think everything happens for a reason.?

Looking to put the finishing touches on her new mega mansion, Gisele Bundchen ventured out with a few friends to do a little home ffurnishing shopping in West Hollywood on Wednesday (March 21).
The fresh-faced supermodel took to East Meets West Antiques, along with a few other art galleries, where she picked up a new vase and a piece of art to hang on one of her and husband Tom Brady's many walls.
Seemingly having a tough time making up her mind, Miss Bundchen took pictures of a few items with her iPhone - with the lengthy shopping session leading to a parking ticket on her car's front windshield.
Meanwhile, Gisele also took to her Facebook page the previous day to post an entry reading, "Wanted to share this message with you :)"
As for the message, the Brazilian beauty's words of wisdom told, "There are things that God gives us to learn. And there are things that God only gives us when we already have learned." Think about it!

The Barbadian beauty showed off her perfect legs in a pair of short shorts as she hit up her favorite restaurant, Giorgio Baldi.
The outing comes just after RiRi was spotted making a stop at Ashton Kutcher's house in Los Angeles in the wee hours of the morning on Wednesday.
Pulling up in a black Escalade, the "Found Love" singer reportedly got to Kutcher's home around midnight and, according to TMZ, didn't leave until about 4am.
During her all-nighter, the 24-year-old tweeted a picture of herself with two friends, adding, "1 big room full o bad b*tches #thuglife..."
So far, Rihanna has yet to mention the late night visit she paid to Kutcher.

After starting off the day with a tweet reading "Feeling sicky :(," it seems that the workout helped turn around Miley's mood.

Taking a break from her business running and book writing efforts, Jessica Alba stepped out for a trip to the park with her darling daughters on Wednesday afternoon (March 21).
The 30-year-old actress toted baby Haven in her arms as eldest daughter Honor romped around the Coldwater Canyon Park playground equipment with fellow youngsters at the outdoor family mecca.
Seeing Miss Alba out with her girls comes as little surprise, as she recently spoke with Parenting magazine about how she makes sure to place importance on family, telling, "The biggest surprise of motherhood is just how secondary everything else is. Before, I was always so focused on my career. Now nothing is more important to me than my kids and their well-being."
Jess also dished on how she tries to make the always-present paparazzi seem normal to Honor, saying, "If Honor's like, 'What are they doing?' I don't want her to have anxiety. So I'm like, 'Oh, nothing. They're just taking pictures. They do that to everyone. Isn't that silly?' And then that's it. It's a non-issue. Cash and I just ignore them."

Over the moon about her first pregnancy, Vanessa Minnillo Lachey is itching to find out what the sex of her baby with husband Nick Lachey is - and she's hoping it'll be a boy!
After a Twitter fan asked the "Wipeout" host if she wants a baby boy or girl, she replied, "I'm excited either way! But I always wanted a boy 1st. Just a healthy baby".
Minnillo and Lachey exchanged vows back in July after dating for five years and, thankfully, the mom-to-be has been having an easy pregnancy while saying she's been feeling "really good," tweeting, "No morning sickness!".
The 31-year-old said she was eager to try a gender test this morning, and also revealed she wants to move to Ohio with Nick and the baby soon after it's born.
Once again answering a Twitter fan, Minnillo said she would like to give birth to the baby in Los Angeles, but once the cutie becomes a toddler, she wants to pack up and move to Lachey's hometown of Cincinnati.

The "You Belong With Me" songstress included herself and her newly adopted cat, Meredith, while giving the kitten an inside scoop on how this whole awards show thing works.
"So you're new here, so you don't really know this yet, but this is coming up on a really amazing thing that happens every year?the ACMs," Swift tells Meredith. "You don't know how this goes, but I thought I'd explain it to you."
After explaining to the cute feline how voting operates, the 22 year-old hints to her furry friend that fans should get out there and cast their ballots, saying, "So, like, we got nominated for Entertainer of the Year, which is huge and wonderful...Do you think that people should go and vote for us? Maybe?"
