At first glimpse one may assume she?s on the set of her next movie project, but unfortunately Reese Witherspoon's black eye is the real deal.
Last week, the ?Water For Elephants? beauty was out jogging when she was struck by an 84-year-old female driver who failed to yield at a pedestrian crosswalk.
Despite having a bruised up face, Reese was in the best of spirits as she was spotted arriving at a friends in Los Angeles, CA on Monday (September 12).
Although the car accident shook her up quite a bit, Witherspoon opted against pressing charges and is ready to tackle her upcoming movies, including one called ?The Means War and Mud.?

These are photos from yesterday?s Carolina Herrera runway show in NYC - Renee Zellweger is one of Carolina?s favorites, and the feeling is mutual. I almost always love when Renee collaborates with Carolina - they go together beautifully. I?m assuming Renee?s pale little dress is Herrera. It?s very cute. And Renee looks healthy too - and I?m not saying that in a mocking way, at all. She?s been keeping her head down for months, basically since she and Bradley Cooper split up. I don?t know where Renee goes when she disappears, but at least I know that she?s been eating the occasional solid.
I know I?ve asked this before, but did Renee get her boobs done? I?m still wondering. She started looking a little extra booby last year, but some theorized that she?s just wearing padded bras. If she did get them done, she got small implants that fit her frame, so good for her. Also, speaking of Renee and plastic surgery: her face is looking better. Back in July, Armani announced that Megan Fox was no longer their official spokescrotch. Megan?s print and commercial ads for Armani - for Armani underwear, jeans and makeup - had been going from bad to worse, and her latest set of Asian-looking makeup ads seemed like the last straw. So, Armani replaced Megan with Rihanna. I?ve been trying to figure out if Megan is completely fired, or if she?s just representing Armani?s makeup line now. I don?t know - but I do know that Rihanna has Megan?s old underwear and jeans contracts.
So, these are the new ads. The full set of underwear and jeans ads were just released this week, and? they?re not good. Ugh. Let?s do the positive first: Rihanna is nowhere near as tweaked and jacked as Megan Fox. I tend to think Rihanna?s face is all-natural, but I?m sure someone will correct me. I also like that Rihanna?s boobs are real, and that Armani selected a ?model? with a healthy, slender figure (instead of Megan?s weird, unhealthy-looking body). Rihanna doesn?t have fake boobs, which I like as well.
Now for the negative: the blond wiglet. The makeup. The poses. Rihanna looks like hell in these ads. And she?s one of those girls who can look incredibly sexy in just candid photos where she?s walking around: why does she look so UNsexy when she?s posed and blonde and made up? Ugh.

My first thought was that Kim Kardashian is dressing specifically so that we?ll talk about how she?s probably pregnant. She still looks very heavy to me - that?s not a crack on her weight or her figure, I?m just merely pointing out that A) that money she spent on training with Tracy Anderson was wasted and B) Size 4 my ass. Anyway, these are new photos of Kim in NYC yesterday. She had two costume changes, the long-sleeved yellow-beige during the day for some business meetings, and then this horrible white, ruffled blouse and dark skirt for the evening, where she sat in the front row for Avril Lavigne?s Abbey Dawn runway show. Kim?s little sister Kylie Jenner walked the runway for Avril.
I guess we should applaud Kim for not outshining her little sister?s catwalk debut. But I?m still baffled by what looks Kim puts together, and how she can honestly think she looks cute. Also: she?s back to jacking her catface to the extreme. Immediately after her wedding, I don?t think Kim had time to go in for all of her injections and fillers and such, so she was looking? well, her face was moving slightly, and I?m sure that bothered her. So she went away for several days and got some fresh injections, and now her catface is back to ?normal?. Meaning, SHE LOOKS AWFUL. Look at her catface. She?s actually looking more and more like Kourtney, right?

The former Pussycat Dolls frontwoman looked fabulous in a frilly black dress complete with a black leather jacket with orange accent as she sang for the packed crowd.
Members of the community waited in line as early as 6am to witness the big event, marking a new era in commerce for the London borough.
One spectator told press, ?The centre will bring the community together. The range of shops is diverse but it?s all under one roof.?

Here?s the thing: I like Michelle Williams (not love, but like) but casting her as Marilyn Monroe is just? awful. Michelle was cast as Marilyn in My Week With Marilyn, a film based on a book from a production assistant who worked with Monroe in England, while Monroe filmed The Prince and the Showgirl with Lawrence Olivier. Monroe had just married Arthur Miller, and he traveled to England with her, and Monroe and Olivier famously hated each other. I get that the ?behind the scenes? story is interesting, and I?m not generally opposed to the film being made, but would it have killed them to get someone more vivacious and sexy to play Marilyn? Instead, we have Michelle Williams, who? let?s just say it, is a girlish, affected hipster with no sex appeal.
These photos tend to prove that in spades - Michelle, still in character as Marilyn, covers the new issue of Vogue. The cover is especially terrible, and the rest of the photos - well, Michelle just looks like a cheap Monroe impersonator. I?ve seen drag queens do a better, more realistic Marilyn. MW?s hipster cred: She gestures with small, slim, expressive hands as the conversation ranges from her affinity for dresses from the 1930s and long-discontinued Eberhard Faber Blackwing 602 pencils (?I love things that are old and beautiful and tell a story, even if it?s a sad one?) to the novels of Vladimir Nabokov, whose notoriously complex Ada is a favorite. ?I think Nabokov once said that genius is finding the invisible link between things,? she tells me. ?And that?s how I choose to see life. Everything?s connected, and everything has meaning if you look for it.?
Turning 30: ?I feel like something has changed for me, but it?s a new change, so it?s going to be hard for me to describe,? she says. ?Maybe it has something to do with turning 30. I don?t feel as shy or nervous or self-conscious. I have more confidence that I can handle what life brings me. I don?t feel scared to have an idea and express it.? She adds, ?I feel giddy about it because it?s a complete transformation. It?s like I?ve found my voice.?
Playing Marilyn: ?As soon as I finished the script, I knew that I wanted to do it, and then I spent six months trying to talk myself out of it,? she says. ?But I always knew that I never really had a choice.? And, she adds, ?I?ve started to believe that you get the piece of material that you were ready for.?
On Marilyn: ?Everybody has their own idea of who Marilyn was and what she means to them,? Williams says. ?But I think that if you go a little bit deeper, you?re going to be surprised by what you find there.?
Becoming Marilyn: Williams spent six months immersing herself in all things Monroe. She read biographies, diaries, letters, poems, and notes, pored over photographs, listened to recordings, watched movies, and tracked down obscure clips on YouTube. ?I?d go to bed every night with a stack of books next to me,? she recalls. ?And I?d fall asleep to movies of her. It was like when you were a kid and you?d put a book under your pillow hoping you?d get it by osmosis.? Her turn from indie waif to Hollywood sex goddess involved working with a choreographer to perfect Monroe?s walk and gaining weight to approximate her curves. ?Unfortunately, it went right to my face,? she says, puffing up her cheeks to illustrate. ?So at some point it became a question of, Do I want my face to look like Marilyn Monroe?s or my hips?? (She opted for the former and filled out the latter with foam padding.) In the end, she says, ?it felt like being reborn. It felt like breaking my body and remaking it in her image, learning how she walked and talked and held her head. None of that existed in my physical memory, and I knew I needed as much time as possible to make it part of me.?
Sex appeal: ?Any messages that I got as a child about what it is to have a woman?s body or to be sexual were all negative?that people wouldn?t take you seriously or that they would take advantage of you? The expectation to be beautiful always makes me feel ugly because I feel like I can?t live up to it,? she says. ?But I do remember one moment of being all suited up as Marilyn and walking from my dressing room onto the soundstage practicing my wiggle. There were three or four men gathered around a truck, and I remember seeing that they were watching me come and feeling that they were watching me go?and for the very first time I glimpsed some idea of the pleasure I could take in that kind of attention; not their pleasure but my pleasure. And I thought, Oh, maybe Marilyn felt that when she walked down the beach.?
On the paparazzi, and her daughter: ?That?s what seems the most rotten thing about it to me,? she says. ?And I?m going to do everything in my power to make her feel safe and protected, and to extend her childhood for as long as possible.?
On Heath?s death: ?Three years ago, it felt like we didn?t have anything, and now my life?our life?has kind of repaired itself? Look, it?s not a perfectly operating system?there are holes and dips and electrical storms?but the basics are intact.? Still, she says, in a fundamental way nothing will ever be the same: ?It?s changed how I see the world and how I interact on a daily basis. It?s changed the parent I am. It?s changed the friend I am. It?s changed the kind of work that I really want to do. It?s become the lens through which I see life?that it?s all impermanent.? Williams shuts her eyes, then opens them again and says, ?For a really long time, I couldn?t stop touching people?s faces. I was like, ?Look at you! You move! You?re here!? It all just seemed so fleeting, and I wanted to hold on to it.?
Her love life: Williams speculates that she may be drawn to stories about the vicissitudes of romantic love because ?relationships have always seemed very mysterious, and therefore worth exploring. I?m single, so it?s still kind of a mystery?a worthwhile mystery, one that I want to be on the scent of.? She confesses that she misses having a guy around when it?s time to haul wood at her house upstate. But, unlike Monroe, she doesn?t define herself through the men in her life: ?I?m not lonely, and I think that has a lot to do with what?s on my bedside table rather than what?s in my bed.?

Madonna is in Toronto, promoting W.E. once again. She?s probably hoping it gets a better reception in Canada than it did in Venice. The photos of Madge in a red blouse/sweater are from yesterday afternoon?s photo call and press conference. If you ignore the crazy and the jacked aspects of her face, this is a really great look for Madonna. It?s almost? classy. Dignified. Serious. Lovely. Great red, great black pencil skirt, good belt and good hair. It?s just the crazy face that messes everything up.
As for the presser - alas, my new boyfriend James D?Arcy was not there, it seems. Madge just brought her two girls out, Abbie Cornish and Andrea Riseborough. Madge also said that critics really need to separate Madonna the Icon from Madonna the director:
Madonna on Monday said she said she doesn’t mind any criticism of her filmmaking abilities, so long as it is directed at her movie and not at herself. The pop star told reporters at the Toronto International Film Festival, where she is promoting her second film “W.E.”, she had to earn her reputation as a musician and she expected to do the same as a film director.
“I had the same kind of pressure when I began my music career,” Madonna told reporters. “I was nervous, and I didn’t know what to expect, and people didn’t know what to expect.”
The film, which premiered at the Venice film festival and is screening at Toronto, has been characterized by critics as visually stunning, but lacking in focus and burdened by weak performances.
“I can tell when people are reviewing my film and when they’re reviewing me personally,” Madonna said when asked whether she cared about what critics thought. “So when they stick to the film, then I do care.”
“W.E.” stars Abbie Cornish as a young New Yorker in the 1990s who becomes infatuated with the 1930s marriage of King Edward VIII and American divorcee Wallis Simpson, played by Andrea Riseborough. It follows Madonna’s first feature, 2008’s “Filth and Wisdom,” which performed poorly at the box office.
Britain’s The Guardian newspaper was the harshest among the critics, giving the film just one star out five, while the Daily Telegraph gave a more positive three star review.
The budget of W.E. is estimated to be around $15 million, and it hits movie theaters in the United States in December, prompting one journalist to ask Madonna about her Oscar hopes for the film.

It?s kind of funny, but I just now realized that the criticism of W.E. is very similar to the criticism that many people have of Madonna: that there is no THERE there. No substance, no message, no depth, but it?s all very stylish and interesting to watch. Not challenging. Cold. Heavy on the iconography, light on the intelligence, wit and grace. See, you can say the same things about the movie and Madonna. Fascinating.
By the way, Madonna is still the Queen of the Bitches: The Globe & Mail reports that Madge required TIFF volunteers to “turn their faces to a wall so that they would not look at the pop-star-turned-movie-director as she made her way to her press conference about the film. One volunteer told the Globe they all dutifully stood with their backs to her as she passed.” For last night’s premiere, Madge wore Tom Ford. I like the dress, I just wish Madonna hadn’t worn it with black fishnet stockings and those shoes. But her face looks so much better in this light, doesn’t it?

We try to relive the glory days, when SJP could command a red carpet, but those days are past. So here?s the real star of last night?s premiere of I Don?t Know How She Does It: Christina Hendricks. Or, more specifically, the star(s) of the red carpet were Christina?s boobs. This rose Vivienne Westwood is spectacular, and I love it on Hendricks. I?m so glad she?s got a modeling contract with Westwood, because now she?ll be wearing more of Westwood?s famously corseted and boob-tastic gowns. LOOK AT HER. She looks so awesome. Okay, her makeup is a little bit off, but why are you even looking at her makeup? LOOK AT HER RACK.
I think Matthew Broderick?s face says it all. It says: ?BOOBS. I?m afraid!?
I didn?t hate SJP?s dress, though. Look at her itsy-bitsy waist. She?s so tiny. The dress is really nice too.
The worst dressed on the carpet? Olivia Munn. I think she was trying to do old-school SJP with this Oscar de la Renta-looking cocktail dress, but? it?s a fail. Not an epic fail, but the dress doesn?t suit her, and it sucks for her to wear Pink when there?s such a better example of Pink on the same carpet.

Christina Aguilera’s life is one full of enablement. She’s a staggering, fall-down drunk who has spent the better part of this year boozing it up and passing out in (of all places) Jeremy Renner’s bed before ratcheting up the drunken drama factor and botching the National Anthem, falling down onstage at The Grammys, and threatening to fire any and all staffers who suggest that she needs some professional help.
All the while, she’s been enabled by her jumpoff boyfriend, Matt Rutler, who doesn’t appear to be employed in any profession other than holding Christina steady as she stumbles out of restaurants and clubs. In addition, NBC has enabled her with a fancy new job on “The Voice.” Of course, we’ve already heard that Christina has been annoying the other judges on the show by refusing to associate with them off camera, and it turns out that the producers of the show aren’t terribly happy with her either. Could she be getting the boot?
X17 can report exclusively that producers at NBC’s “The Voice” plan to axe Christina Aguilera as a coach on the show.
While Aguilera is under contract for season two, a source close to the show tells us bosses are not happy to be stuck with her and they plan on replacing her for season three. Said our source: “She doesn’t spend time with her contestants like she’s supposed to. She doesn’t participate. She spends most of her time on the set with her boyfriend.”
AND we hear she is doing some drinking on the job. But, our source tells us this is part of the on-set culture — we’re told Adam Levine and Blake Shelton frequently take shots while filming to loosen up.
Earlier this year, “The Voice” host Carson Daly said the show would succeed without its original coaches. “This show is bigger than any of its coaches or the host,” he said. “This show will live on in perpetuity with many a star in those chairs.”
Reps for Aguilera and The Voice have yet to return requests for comment

Naturally, Christina’s rep was quick to deny this story as “completely false” to Gossip Cop, but that certainly doesn’t mean that NBC isn’t preparing to can Christina’s drunken ass after her contract ends. In all likelihood, they’re already putting out feelers for a female judge to replace her. So this particular denial means nothing because, essentially, Christina exists in a world of drunken denial and is content to believe that her own music career took a nose dive thanks only to Lady Gaga, who obviously copied her and stole her fanbase. Interestingly enough in the X17 article, Cee Lo Green is not included in the shot-taking club of judges. Good for him.

Megan Fox was just in Toronto to promote her supporting part in Friends With Kids, the film written and directed by Jennifer Westfeldt, Jon Hamm?s girlfriend/partner of a decade. The Hamm is in the movie too - so The Hamm and Megan Fox have officially made a movie together. The end is nigh! But I digress. Our agencies didn?t have any photos of The Hamm or Megan Fox in Toronto, unfortunately, so below I?ve just included older photos of Megan in yet another red dress, back when she was showing off her 2010 Face. Her June 2010 Face, to be more specific.
Anyway, the film was actually pretty well-received in Toronto - you can read one glowing review here, at Showbiz 411, where Westfeldt?s script is compared to something Woody Allen would have written, and words like ?fresh? and ?well-drawn characters? are thrown around. No specific praise for Megan, but I think Megan?s career reboot is probably pretty smart - she?s not going to carry a film for a while, so she?s trying to choose smaller parts in better scripts. Speaking of Megan 2.0: The Supporting Actress Years, Megan has given a new interview where she discusses babies and whether she?s saved enough money to take a few years off to have a little BAG-baby.
Former Transformers star Megan Fox has revealed she wants to have kids - when she’s got enough money saved in the bank. The 25-year-old star, whose career nosedived after she was sacked from the latest Transformers film, said she wants to be financially secure before becoming a mother.
She revealed her hopes for the future while promoting her latest film Friends with Kids, a comedy about couples whose lives are altered when they become parents.
She said: ‘I want to have children — I absolutely want biological children, I’ve always wanted kids, it?s just about the timing being right. I have a number in my mind of what amount of money I want in the bank so that I can protect that child’s future and really protect it so that kid never struggles. Once I feel safe with that, then I’ll have kids.’
Fox, who married actor Brian Green a year ago, is already step mum to his nine year old son Kassius from a previous relationship. The actress, once tipped as the hottest star in Hollywood, has suffered a series of career setbacks after Steven Spielberg personally ordered her to be sacked from Transformers: Dark of the Moon.
It followed an interview the actress gave about director Michael Bay when she described him as being like Hitler on the set. As executive producer Spielberg, who is Jewish and made the Holocaust epic ‘Schindler’s List’, told Bay to fire her from the $120m film and she was replaced by British model Rosie Huntington-Whitely. Fox’s other recent films Jennifer’s Body and Jonah Hex also bombed at the box office.
But speaking at the Toronto film festival in Canada Fox accepted that her career had not been all hits.
‘Careers sort of go up and down, not everybody makes a hit,’ she said.
Fox also confessed that if she had not made it as an actress she would have wanted to be an archaeologist.
She said she was fascinated by the subject and had taken several Egyptology classes and has even considered studying it full time after quitting acting.
‘I would want to be an archaeologist — and I want to still do that now… it holds the answers!’

I was actually thinking about Megan and money the other day, wondering if she had been smart with her investments and stocked away part of her Transformers paychecks. When you go and look through her filmography, you quickly realize that the only major paychecks Megan has had are probably from Transformers 1 and 2, and maybe Jennifer?s Body, although she probably took a pay cut for that film. Plus, her modeling contracts, I guess. Sure, in her heyday (2008-2010), she was probably making about $10 million a year, but Megan isn?t doing all of this on her own - she?s got a large team of people working for her, and they all have to get paid too. And then you?ve got to figure out how much all of that tweaking and surgery costs. Basically, she might not have much of a savings left. Poor Megan.
As for her desire to wait for a while to have a baby - well, she?s only 25! And she?s already a step-mom. I?ll give her a break.

These are some of the same photos that I covered over the weekend from Linnocent?s crackie jaunts in and around NY Fashion Week. Anyway, Linnocent is still talking about last week?s crack controversy, which was Ali Lohan?s poor face and emaciated body. Linnocent already ran and cried crack tears to Gossip Cop and E! News, claiming that Ali has ?never? been touched by a surgeon?s knife, which led some of us to believe that: A) Whoever did the work wasn?t a real surgeon, like it was some back-alley butchery in Tijuana or something or B) Ali has simply been Botoxed and filled and lip injected, none of which is technically ?surgery?. Mother and Daughter Crackhead do love their technicalities. Radar has a new story about Linnocent?s crack denials, and her claims about Dina:
Lindsay Lohan is telling people in her inner circle that her mother, Dina isn’t concerned with daughter, Ali’s sudden weight loss, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.
Pictures depicting Ali looking skinnier than ever emerged last week, igniting controversy and concern for Lilo’s little sister. Ali recently signed a modeling contract with Next Model Management.
?Dina is adamant though that Ali is just going through a very big growth spurt, and there is absolutely no cause for concern,? a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com. ?If Dina thought for one moment that Ali was suffering from an eating disorder, or feeling the pressure to be thin, she would terminate Ali’s modeling contract, and get her the necessary help. Ali is the one who has pestered her mom for years to get into the business. Dina held-off for years, but felt now the time was right for Ali to get into the business. As long as Dina isn’t concerned, Lindsay isn’t worried either.?
Lindsay defended her sister on Twitter: “I love how haters pick on my sister yet every runway model is just as thin! My sister is gorgeous and I’m so proud of her and her career!!!!”
“Lindsay feels that people are just jealous of the Lohans and only want to focus on negative aspects of their lives,? the source says. ?Lindsay is giving Ali career advice, and telling her to ignore all of the negativity.”
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Ali has denied she has had plastic surgery, and insists that she has no weight issues.
Her publicist, Steve Honig issued the following statement to RadarOnline.com: “Aliana has never had any type of plastic surgery in her life, nor has she ever considered it. Her success as a model lies with her natural looks and she has no interest in changing that. During the past two years, she has gone through a normal teenage growth spurt that has made her taller and slimmer.
?It has also slightly changed the composure of her face, all of which is typical of what happens to kids in their mid to late teens. It?s what most people refer to as the awkward stage. Ali is growing up, that?s all.”

A spy at the Standard Hotel?s Boom Boom Room told us, ?Jason and LiLo were sitting across from each other, then Jason started throwing peanuts or paper at her. Lindsay kept ducking to miss them until she decided to throw them right back at him. Then they began throwing nuts at each other trying to get it into each other?s mouths. Once finished they got up and hugged and started laughing together.?
Sources tell us the pair are friends from her appearances on ?SNL.?

Theory #1: Linnocent ran to Page Six to tell them this story (it has a whiff of crack to me) so that we would KNOW that she and Jason Sudeikis are totally friends and he?s totally A-list and so Linnocent is A-list too, OKAY? Theory #2: This actually went down and Jason ?hired? Linnocent for the evening. Over the past year, he?s started coming across as a real sleazeball, so I wouldn?t doubt it. Both theories have merit.

Here?s the thing: I like Michelle Williams (not love, but like) but casting her as Marilyn Monroe is just? awful. Michelle was cast as Marilyn in My Week With Marilyn, a film based on a book from a production assistant who worked with Monroe in England, while Monroe filmed The Prince and the Showgirl with Lawrence Olivier. Monroe had just married Arthur Miller, and he traveled to England with her, and Monroe and Olivier famously hated each other. I get that the ?behind the scenes? story is interesting, and I?m not generally opposed to the film being made, but would it have killed them to get someone more vivacious and sexy to play Marilyn? Instead, we have Michelle Williams, who? let?s just say it, is a girlish, affected hipster with no sex appeal.
These photos tend to prove that in spades - Michelle, still in character as Marilyn, covers the new issue of Vogue. The cover is especially terrible, and the rest of the photos - well, Michelle just looks like a cheap Monroe impersonator. I?ve seen drag queens do a better, more realistic Marilyn. This seems like the kind of stunt Linnocent would pull. Anyway, the full slideshow is here, and the full article is here. Here are some highlights:
MW?s hipster cred: She gestures with small, slim, expressive hands as the conversation ranges from her affinity for dresses from the 1930s and long-discontinued Eberhard Faber Blackwing 602 pencils (?I love things that are old and beautiful and tell a story, even if it?s a sad one?) to the novels of Vladimir Nabokov, whose notoriously complex Ada is a favorite. ?I think Nabokov once said that genius is finding the invisible link between things,? she tells me. ?And that?s how I choose to see life. Everything?s connected, and everything has meaning if you look for it.?
Turning 30: ?I feel like something has changed for me, but it?s a new change, so it?s going to be hard for me to describe,? she says. ?Maybe it has something to do with turning 30. I don?t feel as shy or nervous or self-conscious. I have more confidence that I can handle what life brings me. I don?t feel scared to have an idea and express it.? She adds, ?I feel giddy about it because it?s a complete transformation. It?s like I?ve found my voice.?
Playing Marilyn: ?As soon as I finished the script, I knew that I wanted to do it, and then I spent six months trying to talk myself out of it,? she says. ?But I always knew that I never really had a choice.? And, she adds, ?I?ve started to believe that you get the piece of material that you were ready for.?
On Marilyn: ?Everybody has their own idea of who Marilyn was and what she means to them,? Williams says. ?But I think that if you go a little bit deeper, you?re going to be surprised by what you find there.?
Becoming Marilyn: Williams spent six months immersing herself in all things Monroe. She read biographies, diaries, letters, poems, and notes, pored over photographs, listened to recordings, watched movies, and tracked down obscure clips on YouTube. ?I?d go to bed every night with a stack of books next to me,? she recalls. ?And I?d fall asleep to movies of her. It was like when you were a kid and you?d put a book under your pillow hoping you?d get it by osmosis.? Her turn from indie waif to Hollywood sex goddess involved working with a choreographer to perfect Monroe?s walk and gaining weight to approximate her curves. ?Unfortunately, it went right to my face,? she says, puffing up her cheeks to illustrate. ?So at some point it became a question of, Do I want my face to look like Marilyn Monroe?s or my hips?? (She opted for the former and filled out the latter with foam padding.) In the end, she says, ?it felt like being reborn. It felt like breaking my body and remaking it in her image, learning how she walked and talked and held her head. None of that existed in my physical memory, and I knew I needed as much time as possible to make it part of me.?
Sex appeal: ?Any messages that I got as a child about what it is to have a woman?s body or to be sexual were all negative?that people wouldn?t take you seriously or that they would take advantage of you? The expectation to be beautiful always makes me feel ugly because I feel like I can?t live up to it,? she says. ?But I do remember one moment of being all suited up as Marilyn and walking from my dressing room onto the soundstage practicing my wiggle. There were three or four men gathered around a truck, and I remember seeing that they were watching me come and feeling that they were watching me go?and for the very first time I glimpsed some idea of the pleasure I could take in that kind of attention; not their pleasure but my pleasure. And I thought, Oh, maybe Marilyn felt that when she walked down the beach.?
On the paparazzi, and her daughter: ?That?s what seems the most rotten thing about it to me,? she says. ?And I?m going to do everything in my power to make her feel safe and protected, and to extend her childhood for as long as possible.?
On Heath?s death: ?Three years ago, it felt like we didn?t have anything, and now my life?our life?has kind of repaired itself? Look, it?s not a perfectly operating system?there are holes and dips and electrical storms?but the basics are intact.? Still, she says, in a fundamental way nothing will ever be the same: ?It?s changed how I see the world and how I interact on a daily basis. It?s changed the parent I am. It?s changed the friend I am. It?s changed the kind of work that I really want to do. It?s become the lens through which I see life?that it?s all impermanent.? Williams shuts her eyes, then opens them again and says, ?For a really long time, I couldn?t stop touching people?s faces. I was like, ?Look at you! You move! You?re here!? It all just seemed so fleeting, and I wanted to hold on to it.?
Her love life: Williams speculates that she may be drawn to stories about the vicissitudes of romantic love because ?relationships have always seemed very mysterious, and therefore worth exploring. I?m single, so it?s still kind of a mystery?a worthwhile mystery, one that I want to be on the scent of.? She confesses that she misses having a guy around when it?s time to haul wood at her house upstate. But, unlike Monroe, she doesn?t define herself through the men in her life: ?I?m not lonely, and I think that has a lot to do with what?s on my bedside table rather than what?s in my bed.?

Yeah, I don?t even believe she?s single. I think she?s dating Cary Fukunaga, the director of the latest version of Jane Eyre. I just think she doesn?t want to talk about who she?s dating, which? Making for quite the star-studded spectacle, the stars of The Weinstein Company's "I Don't Know How She Does It" gathered together at AMC Lincoln Square Theater in New York City for their film's premiere on Monday night (September 12).
With Sarah Jessica Parker and Christina Hendricks leading the charge, the lovely ladies were joined by fellow castmates including Olivia Munn, Jessica Szohr, and Greg Kinnear for the Big Apple movie debut.
Garnering plenty of support from their celebrity friends, other famous faces hitting the red carpet included Kevin Jonas and wife Danielle, as well as SJP's husband, Matthew Broderick, singer Jordin Sparks and actress Sophia Bush.
As for the film, the Doug McGrath comedy is "centered on the life of Kate Reddy (Sarah Jessica Parker), a finance executive who is the breadwinner for her husband and two kids."
Also starring Pierce Brosnan, Kelsey Grammer, Seth Meyers, Busy Philipps and Sarah Shahi, "I Don't Know How She Does It" is set to hit theaters this Friday, September 16th.

Treating herself to a rockin' night on the town, Gwyneth Paltrow attended an afterparty following musician Lenny Kravitz's gig with Absolute Radio in London on Monday night (September 12).
The "Contagion" actress was all smiles as she posed arm-in-arm with the rocker at The Box Soho locale - with the event being part of Lenny's launch efforts for his new album 'Black and White America'.
The outing comes on the heels of another accolade for Miss Paltrow - as she ended up being named as the winner of a Creative Arts Emmy Award during the annual ceremony on Saturday night.
Gwyneth was named as Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series for her role as substitute teacher Holly Holiday on "Glee".
With the 38-year-old not on-hand to collect her trophy, presenter Alison Brie jokingly told the audience, "She couldn't be here because it's happy hour at the Starlight Room."

Tending to her duties as the face of the scent, Rosie Huntington Whiteley visited Macy's Herald Square to unveil the new Burberry fragrence 'Burberry's Body' on Monday (September 12).
The "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" model/actress looked dashing in a low-cut, cleavage baring ensemble as she posed for pictures during the Big Apple meet and greet session.
Having risen to the top ranks of the modeling world, Rosie recently gave advice to aspiring catwalk queens, as she said, "It takes hard work, determination and the ability to pick yourself up and try again when things go wrong. I advise you to get a reputable team around you, too. And always trust your gut feeling."
As for her inspiration, the 24-year-old beauty dished, "My mother inspires me. She`s been the driving force behind me the whole way and I strive to make her proud. I`m always drawn to women who are strong, independent, individual, who have an air of mystery about them and who aren`t afraid of their sexuality."

It?s one of the most anticipated movies of the season, and ?W.E.? made it?s big Toronto International Film Festival premiere earlier tonight (September 12).
Director Madonna showed up at Roy Thomson Hall along with star Abbie Cornish to give the press a quick pose-down before heading inside for the screening.
Set to hit theaters December 9th, ?W.E.? is a two-tiered love story about Wally Winthrop, a woman in 1999 who is infatuated with the 1930s marriage of King Edward VIII.
Also starring James D?Arcy and Andrea Riseborough, the film gracefully weaves the past and present into two parallel plots.

Back in the States after an overseas getaway, Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z were side-by-side at the Men's Final of the 2011 US Open in Flushing, New York on Monday (September 12).
The expecting power couple sat in prime seats at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center as they watched Rafael Nadal of Spain take on Novak Djokovic of Serbia.
Meanwhile, recent reports tell that, during their trip to Italy, Beyonce was observed satisfying her "strange" pregnancy cravings.
A source told press, "Usually guests sip Cristal champagne while nibbling on lobster. Instead Beyonce is having these very odd cravings."
The insider explained that she was seen "snacking on Oreos and pickles, ice creams with hot chili sauce, and she loves dipping bananas in ketchup. For breakfast, she's been having croissants with melted chocolate bars inside."
