Continuing their time overseas promoting the film ?Last Night,? Keira Knightley and Eva Mendes attended the opening of the 5th International Rome Film Festival in Rome, Italy on Thursday night (October 28).
The ?Pirates of the Caribbean? babe and her ?Hitch? gal pal looked gorgeous upon arrival, quickly being escorted into the theater after checking out a protest over the Italian government?s drastic cuts in funds for cultural events.
The lovely ladies finally made it in inside the Auditorium Parco Della Musica venue with the help of a few bodyguards before 800 plus people stormed the red carpet.
As for their flick, Knightley recently described it as a thought-provoking film that leaves it to the audience to decide just exactly what constitutes cheating.

On Thursday (October 28), the ?Knight and Day? actor attended the Doha Film Festival and revealed that his newest offering will be dubbed ?Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol.?
"One of the things I always wanted for the franchise was for it not to have a number afterwards," Cruise said. "I?ve never done sequels to films and I never thought of these films as sequels.?
Continuing on, Tom said, ?Paramount has done a great job in coming up with a title, so it?s not going to be MI 2, 3, 4: It?s going to be ?Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol.?

On Wednesday night (October 27) while standing outside hotspot Beso in Hollywood, a drunk, cigarette smoking Lynn Patridge was caught on tape talking about her daughter.
"One door closes, another one opens. I was proud of her," she says. "Last night, she f??g kicked a? . . . It's all show business, baby, the show must go on."
Continuing on, even after a friend attempted to intervene, Lynn told, "Audrina is going to f??ing rise. And She's got class ... She's a Polish, Catholic, f??ing full-on Italian. Not only that, she was raised right."
Not stopping there, mama Patridge referred to ?The Hills? girls as tramps, and targeted Lauren Conrad specifically, calling her a ?b---.?

I have a confession: Ethan Hawke is my shame-crush. Like, I don?t even want to admit most days, but I find him sexy. It?s not that he?s ?attractive? in any conventional sense, either morally or physically. He?s actually kind of gross, what with the permanent dirt-lip and smug-face and the whole screwing around on Uma Thurman thing. I get it - he?s a dirt bag, and a proto-hipster jagoff. So why do I find him so hot?
First of all, I?ve seen him in television interviews, and he?s really, really good in them. He?s funny, he?s self-deprecating, he?s kind of silly and he acknowledges his own pretensions and naked ambition. Also, when he?s talking, he doesn?t seem so? ratty. So gross. Because he actually has a nice voice, and he isn?t one of those strong silent types - he?s a talker, a gossiper, and I imagine he would be a lot of fun in a bar.
My Ethan Hawke shame-crush started after his initial, youthful hotness faded. Remember Dead Poet?s Society? Remember Reality Bites? Remember Gattaca and Great Expectations? Yeah, I didn?t have a crush on him for any of that. It was only when he got really ratty and dirt-lippy that this shameful, disgusting, awkward crush began. I?m even finding it difficult to describe right now because I?m so turned on by Ethan in these new photos, some from his participation in some event for the Empire State Building, and some for an event sponsored by the Human Rights Campaign for gay marriage. So? at least he?s a political liberal? Can I build a life with a dirty rat-face, just as long as he shares my politics? Sigh? I have issues.

Allegedly, Olivia and JT spent three days in NYC, blissfully shagging, until JT was all ?You know how I said me and Biel were over? I totally lied about that.? And Olivia was all ?I can?t believe I?m dumb enough to go for your stupid line. Oh, wait. I can believe it.? Anyway, People Magazine has the official denials from Camp Timberlake and Camp Munn, although I don?t know who they think they?re fooling. Camp Munn?s source says:“Justin and Jessica are doing fine.” and ?There is no truth to the reports. Olivia Munn is not that type of girl.” Camp Timberlake/Biel sources say things like ?They are really affectionate and really seemed to be happy.? It?s rote at this point. JT needs to keep his junk more down-low to avoid these kinds of complications. But I?m not going to let it ruin my fun. I?m reading the full print copy of Us Weekly, and there are some interesting pieces of gossip that we haven?t covered yet.
How JT pursued Munn: JT immediately started chasing her, and ?talking about how she was really smart and he wanted to be with her.? When Munn said no, ?JT pulled out all the stops. He was texting her A LOT? Olivia believed their relationship might develop into something serious. I think she thought he was single.?
On the sex: ?They had amazing sex. He was enamored of her.?
When Jessica Biel is away ?they see each other when their schedules permit? JT has told people that he and Jess barely communicate when she is away, and texting had been their main form of communication.?
Back to Munn: ?It became increasingly obvious that Justin might be using her.? When Olivia confronted him, the lies continued: ?JT said he wants to be sure to let Jessica down gently.? He also implied that some Biel family drama made it an inopportune time to split.
JT?s player game: ?He plays girls and tells them things are over with Jessica to get them hooked. But as soon as they put the pressure on, he has to admit that he?s still with her.?
The Mila Kunis incident: JT and Mila worked together over the summer, and sources say he tried to seduce her, ?but she wasn?t interested in someone who was already attached?she knew he had a girlfriend, and she made it clear that it was not going to happen.?

The Cameron Diaz incident: ?Jessica wasn?t very happy about the Cameron Diaz costar thing.? Biels visits were scheduled to avoid a run-in with Diaz, says the industry source.
Why doesn?t JT just dump Biel? ?He loves her. He doesn?t want to hurt her.? But another source says ?I wouldn?t be surprised if they broke up. I got the impression it?s headed in that direction. I think he?s just bored.?
Why doesn?t Biel just dump JT? ?She is totally in the dark [about his flirtations].? But sources say she isn?t desperate. ?The second she has undeniable proof, she?ll breka up with him. But Jess doesn?t believe Justin has cheated on her.? Also, Biel is currectly filming in Canada, and a source says ?As far as we know Justin is not going to be visiting.? But a Biel source says ?She?s a tough girl. She doesn?t need him.?
Back to Olivia Munn: ?He lied to Olivia and was not single. Olivia feels used. She?s a good girl and wasn?t expecting someone to openly lie like that, especially when it was so easy for her to find out the truth.?
About that Oscar nomination for The Social Network: JT ?really wants that nomination? he?s using his press tour as a platform to make a push for it. He?s desperate to be taken seriously as an actor.? His costars are pissed about it too: ?JT is annoying them. Everyone else is so grateful for the opportunities coming to the, but Justin is cocky.?

So? I?m going to go out on a limb and say that Olivia Munn was dumb to believe JT?s dumb line, and then the dumb girl decided to get revenge, and she leaked this story herself. Too many of these quotes are WAY too pro-Munn, and some of them don?t even make any sense! ?She?s a good girl and wasn?t expecting someone to openly lie like that, especially when it was so easy for her to find out the truth.? Um, really? Because she didn?t bother finding out ?the truth? before she spent three days boning the guy. Also - I love that Mila Kunis didn?t fall for his line. LOVE. And I don?t think Biel will ever dump JT. Ever.

I hate almost everything about this look from Keira Knightley. She and Eva Mendes are in Rome for the Rome Film Festival, and they are promoting their new film Last Night, which I?ve never heard of. Keira wore Chanel, of course. Chanel dress in navy, with red and cream patterns/detailing, and Chanel booties. I hate both. The dress looks like a jazzed up 1950s housedress, and the booties look Keira lifted some costume pieces from Atonement. What is worse, though, is her hair - now, I was a big fan of this bob. I thought it was adorable a few weeks ago. But the hair might have grown out into something awkward. Either that, or she just didn?t style it correctly. Because it looks like a mess. Not a hot mess either.
Meanwhile, shock of shocks, I love what Eva Mendes is wearing. She looks great! Maybe one of her best red carpet outings in a while. The dress is Oscar de la Renta resort, and the shoes are Miu Miu. Plus, Eva looks like she?s stopped f-cking with her face, thank God. By the way, did anyone else hear the rumor that Eva split from her long-time boyfriend? They were together for something like eight years, and I?ve yet to see a denial or confirmation of the initial report. So? Eva could be single now. The boys will be happy.

“Yes, we are pregnant. This is true,” Carey, 41, said on the Today show Thursday morning as part of a sneak peek at a three-part Access Hollywood interview. “It’s been a long journey. It’s been tough because I’ve been trying to hold on to a shred of privacy.”

Carey, who also told of a miscarriage two years ago, would not reveal her due date. She would only say “it’s still early” and “expecting is great.” Ever-supportive Cannon said of the loss, “It strengthened our relationship so much ? she handled it so well.”
Two years ago, shortly after the couple’s secret wedding, Carey and Cannon were in Monte Carlo for the World Music Awards when Carey took a pregnancy test, and it turned out to be positive. “Only one person knew about this and we were like, um, ‘let’s not tell anybody else,’” Carey said.
A little more than a month later, she miscarried. “It was really sad so we had to just, we had really to absorb this and take it in,” Carey said. Cannon added, “And that’s what I said, like her strength would literally be during the day so festive and smiling obviously for cameras and spending time with everyone and you know, literally that night crying herself to sleep.”
The news, of course, won’t surprise those who have followed the couple’s coy references to pregnancy and babies over the past few months. Rumors flew as the expanding singer seemed to bloom a little more every week, and both Cannon and Carey have spoken about their desire for children.
In August, Carey fanned the flames by stepping out in Brazil wearing a maternity dress. She quickly addressed the ensuing frenzy, explaining she is “superstitious” about pregnancy and promising, “When the time is right, everyone will know.”
Days later, Cannon gushed about his wife’s motherly instincts, telling PEOPLE that “she’s very nurturing.” But not until now have they admitted they’re soon to welcome their own bundle of joy.
Now that the news is out, people will clamor to know the sex of the child. The couple wouldn’t say yet, but eventually Carey will cave, because she loves to decorate.

When I first saw these photos of Sharon Stone at last night?s AIDS charity gala, I was slightly overcome. Is Sharon Stone a crazy bitch? Sure. Is she not that talented as an actress? Sure. But this woman can wear the hell out of a black leather turtleneck dress, can?t she? The body looks great, and the face is rather amazing too. What a great red carpet appearance for her. Personally, I think Sharon is ?dressing her age? while still looking younger and sexier than most women her age. She doesn?t look desperate, I think. She?s covered up yet she?s still showing off her figure. She could give Demi Moore some pointers.

After months of speculation, 40-year old Mariah Carey finally confirmed that she?s pregnant with her first child with husband Nick Cannon. Radar Online says:
In a story airing on NBC’s The Today Show, Carey told Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush: “Yes, we are pregnant.”
The Hero singer said she’s expecting in the spring, but wouldn’t give any further details.
Carey also revealed that she had been pregnant before – a few years ago – but had suffered a miscarriage.
?It kind of shook us both and took us into a place that was really dark and difficult,? Carey told Bush about the miscarriage. ?When that happened… I wasn’t able to even talk to anybody about it. That was not easy.”
Oh, great. She had a miscarriage? How am I supposed to make a fat joke now? It’d be like pantsing a blind kid. And it took me a good two days before I could even laugh about that. Way to ruin the joke for everybody, Mariah.

I?m starting to wonder if the whole ?we?re working on our marriage and giving the public a united front? thing was just a cover for Demi to get some kind of special Israeli plastic surgery. She looks mega-tweaked in these photos from last night?s GQ Gentleman?s Ball. Demi and Ashton walked the red carpet together, for the first time since the whole cheating scandal. Demi is not going to leave his ass. And Ashton is powering through - although he doesn?t look thrilled about it, in my opinion.
Demi?s dress is Balmain Winter 2010, by the way. She also wore Balmain for her red carpet appearance a few days ago, when she flashed her bra in a low-cut, see-through Balmain blouse. I actually prefer that blouse to this dress, which is rather fug in my opinion. Also: the hemline has been shortened? Or is that ragged edge ?high fashion?? Did Demi cut her Balmain because she wanted to ?young it up? for her first appearance with Ashton? Ugh.

Stepping out for a press appearance, Hilary Duff was spotted at the ?Jimmy Kimmel Live? studios in Hollywood last night (October 27).
The ?So Yesterday? songstress looked lovely as she arrived at the set, sporting a black see-through top with a black bra and grey trousers.
During her interview with Kimmel, Hilary talked about a fan who ended up getting her autograph tattooed on his arm.
"The first time I was here on your show I signed my first body part. Some kid said, 'Can you sign my arm?' I'm like, 'Whatever, I've signed weirder than that.' He went and got it tattooed while I was doing your show, in Hollywood.?

Rihanna is the cover girl for the December issue of Marie Claire UK. I?m totally meh on the photos just because of Rihanna?s fruity Raggedy Ann hair. It cheapens any high-fashion look? and Marie Claire is attempting to be ?high fashion? with Rihanna. Instead, the shoot just looks budget and trashy, and I mostly blame the hair. Anyway, in the interview excerpts (courtesy of Bossip), Rihanna talks a lot about Chris Brown and the hard time that she went through after Chris beat the hell out of her. She also talks a little bit about her hot boyfriend Matt Kemp:
A year and a half after her terrible assault by ex-boyfriend Chris Brown, Rihanna oozes confidence in a beautiful photoshoot. Striking a fierce pose with her hand on her hip and her smouldering gaze on the camera, she is a completely different person from the heartbroken young woman whose battered face appeared in police photos in February last year. But the memories of that night still linger in the 22-year-old?s mind, and she has finally opened up about how she felt during that dark period.
?God has a crazy way of working, and sometimes when stuff happens you feel like, ?What did I do to deserve this? Why was it backfiring on me??? she says in an emotional interview in the latest issue of UK Marie Claire. ?I was very lost. I have to say I felt really confused. I hate talking about it but it was really crazy because I felt so out of touch with myself and when that happens.?
?It?s scary because nothing you say or do feels like it?s you,? I remember I was in New York at the Trump Hotel and I woke up and I just knew I was over it. I needed that wake-up call in my life. I needed a turning point, and that?s what God was giving to me.?
Rihanna attracted plenty of criticism for her brief reconciliation with the No Air singer ? currently completing his court-ordered community service ? after the headline-making assault.
?All this terrible stuff they say to you, it breaks you down,? she says of that time. ?[But] once you?re back on your feet ? if you ever make it back on your feet ? that?s the ultimate achievement.?
Now dating US baseball star Matt Kemp, Rihanna says she has now moved on and is happy again. ?I feel like I smile for real this time. The smiles come from inside, and it exudes in everything I do. People feel my energy is different. When I smile they can tell that it?s pure bliss and not just a cover up.?

I like how Rihanna says she ?hates? talking about the Chris Brown situation even though she?s given several dozen interviews about it over the last year. I mean, I get it. She?s made her peace with the situation and she?s trying to educate about domestic violence, and she probably still gets a lot of questions about it. But I?d like her to start taking a pass on some of the questions at this point, you know? It?s begun to feel like she?s saying ?Buy my album because I got beaten.?
Moving on, that is good for Rihanna about the Matt Kemp situation. He truly seems like a sweet guy, and I like how seemingly low-key they are together. They don?t do a lot of events as a couple, and they?re not pushing it in our faces. Now, do I see Rihanna and Matt together forever? No, not really. I think Rihanna still has some growing up to do.
