Clearly not ready to settle down just yet, Simon Cowell has taken a break from his engagement with former fiance Mezghan Husseiny.
The ?X Factor? bully confirmed that he and his makeup artist gal ? who haven?t seen each other since before Christmas - are no longer an item.
Recently chatting with the Daily Mail, Cowell explained, "It is quite a complicated relationship. We have had a break from each other, and we are still incredible close."
"I'm vulnerable," he added. "It's not on, it's not off, it's somewhere in the middle. I don't know if I will ever get married, but I am happy."

The newly-divorced ?Disaster Movie? starlet shared that the short-lived union was the genuine article, and not some fake arrangement for financial gain.
Kim explained, ?If you really think about it, if this was a business decision and I really made all that money that everyone was claiming that we made off this wedding, and if the wedding was fake and just for TV ? I?m a smart business woman ? I would have stayed married longer.?
?This was a bad business decision. I really didn?t think that following my heart would create this much backlash. Me being such a hopeless romantic, I wanted to believe in something so badly. Khloe and Lamar got married after knowing each other for a month and they?re going on three years. My mom and Bruce after five months got married and they just celebrated their 20th anniversary.?
Ms. Kardashian added, ?I fell in love and thought it could work just like the examples that I saw. It?s been a hard couple of months. I moved in with my mom ? half the time with my mom and half with Kourtney? I really did some soul searching.?

Stepping out for some publicity duties, Kristen Bell was spotted at the Bing and Self Magazine celebration of her Self cover issue last night (January 22).
The ?Veronica Mars? actress hammed it up with Self editor-in-chief Lucy Danziger at the Bing Bar where her new show ?House of Lies? also had a screening as part of the Sundance Film Festival.
Kristen told press that ?House of Lies? is quite the departure for her, and the whole vibe took some getting used to.
?Being in a strip club in the middle of the afternoon with the lights on was a little unnerving. There?s a scene where I have to dance sexily around in my underwear that made me very nervous. The part scared me a little bit.?
"It's important to show that it is a shark tank and it is sink-or-swim and [my character] Jeannie would not be able to work there if she didn't play like a boy and get as dirty as they did."

I’m excited that we have new photos of lap-hopping Cameron Diaz, as I’ve been waiting to comment on her new look. (Kaiser is sick today or she would definitely be covering this.) We saw Cameron premiere her new shaggy crop-cut hair at the Golden Globes parties, where she was seen macking all over attached Diddy and generally looking a mess. I didn’t like her new look, which also seemed to include some new boobies. It’s like she got a new hairstyle to try to distract us from her recent implants, which are tasteful and not too big but still noticeable. (It’s also possible she had fat transfer done to her breasts. I’ve been hearing about that a lot lately and the result is the same kind of subtle difference that we’ve seen in Cameron.)
Cameron was spotted at Paris Fashion Week this morning in this stunning A-line black checked dress paired with a simple skinny belt and elegant jacket. I love her gladiator shoes too. Cameron looks amazing with her hair pulled back and pinned up like that. She looks a little “refreshed” too, as if she’s had a smidgen of something done but not too much. (Just like her new boobs.) It could just be her perfectly applied makeup though. She looks lovely I have to say. The shape of that dress is slightly unflattering, but the belt cinches it in. I really love this look on her. Cameron looks good and she knows it. (Update: Cam wore this to the Dior show, so it’s safe to assume she’s in Dior.)
Yesterday Cameron was at the Versace show with Diane Kruger. (Photos are below.) She wore her hair in a kind of poof style that isn’t as pretty as it is here. This style is more softening for her.
Can you imagine getting paid and having clothes lent to you to show up at events like this? You would have people like us picking apart your every move, but Cameron doesn’t seem to care. I admire that about her. The downside is that she ends up with guys like A-Rod and Diddy.
Update: Oh we do have those photos of Cameron outside the Versace show yesterday. Compare her slightly trashy but fashion-forward look in Versace to how classic and pretty she looks above. She’s also looking tweaked to me in these photos. Her legs are so killer.

Here’s some photos of Rihanna returning to LAX after her relaxing, blunt-filled Hawaiian vacation came to an inevitable end. She looks so happy and carefree in these pictures, right? Well, perhaps she was pleased for another, more nefarious reason. In a natural follow-up to last week’s Us Weekly story that Rihanna hasn’t merely been love tweeting but has also been secretly hooking up with for the past year, TMZ reports that the two ex-lovers were present and accounted for (at the same time) in the same night club last night. It’s hard to believe that Rihanna would truly go back to Chris after he beat the living hell out of her, but the evidence is quickly mounting:

Ugh. This story is probably true since TMZ got word from eyewitnesses on the scene, and it’s even more pathetic than Rihanna pretty much leapt off the airplace from Hawaii into such a misguided, almost certainly situation. So after these two left the club “separately,” do you think RiRi and Chris met up for a private afterparty at some undisclosed hotel? Right now, I’ve lost all hope that RiRi is smart enough not to do just that.
Beyond Rihanna’s obvious bad taste in men, one more thing about her return from Hawaii is freaking me out. Look at her hand on the escalator rail. All of those germs!

It’s been well established that scenes and plotlines are fabricated for “Kourtney and Kim Take New York.” They’re trying to make Kim out to be a sentient human being instead of the narcissistic impulse-driven cartoon cut out that her quest for fame, Botox and cash have turned her into. It’s not working at all and their efforts are transparent and fun to mock. On Sunday’s episode we got to see Kim crying to faux psychic medium John Edward about how hard her marriage has been. Edward comes up with a bunch of crap about the family that could be gleaned in five minute google searches and Kim gets all emotional when he brings up divorce. On Sunday?s part one of Kourtney & Kim Take New York’s season finale, Kim Kardashian admitted she didn’t “want to be married anymore” to Kris Humphries, essentially putting to an end their 72-day marriage.
The sexy socialite came to the realization when she and sister Kourtney had a session with celebrity medium John Edward, who said he could reach their late father, famed O.J. Simpson attorney Robert Kardashian.
After the subject turned to divorce, Kim told sister Kourtney, “What was so crazy about that was when he was talking about the divorce stuff. I honestly feel like I can?t do this anymore with Kris — I don’t want to be married anymore — I feel like I got into this way too fast … you know, I?m not happy.”?? (Edward not only sensed stormy relationship waters, but Kourtney’s bun in the oven as well, asking the famous sisters, “I know you just got married [Kim] and I have to say this: Is somebody pregnant now?”
Another point of tension Sunday was Kris’s failure to tell Kim his sister Kayla, was visiting; in turn, Kim avoided the plus-size model to save her from the drama.
Kim said in an off-camera interview she felt uncomfortable around Kayla because of the friction between she and Kris: “I?m having such a rough time with him that it?s hard to let another one of his family members into my heart. ??”It?s better for all of us if I keep my distance from Kayla so she doesn?t catch wind that there?s tension,” Kim said.

Kim also went on Regis & Kelly this morning, and she denied that she got married or divorced for money. She gave just about the same answer she always does – she wanted a fairy tale, she wanted to be a wife and mother so badly. She never owns up to her mistakes and always deflects criticism.
“I think me being such a hopeless romantic I wanted to believe in something so badly.
“If this was a business decision and I really made all that money that everyone claimed we made from the wedding and it was just for TV, I’m a smart businesswoman, I would have stayed married longer. This is a bad business decision, do you know what I mean?
“If you really think about it, it doesn’t make sense that everyone says that. I really didn’t think that following my heart would create this much backlash.”
Ripa later said that the first year of marriage can be difficult and questioned Kardashian on why she hadn’t opted to stick it out for a little longer.
“I definitely tried everything I felt like I could, but I would also hear stories of people who had kids and started this life and stayed married for years and it ended up not working out,” replied Kardashian. “I just felt like if I don’t feel in my heart this is right then why wait years to have the same result?”

What great logic this woman has. She couldn’t have been making a business decision to marry Kris and then divorce him, because her image took such a hit, even though she didn’t anticipate it happening at all. And according to Kim she probably would have gotten divorced anyway since people inevitably have problems in relationships and she’s incapable of thinking of anyone except herself, so why bother at all? It’s just not worth it to work to have kids and a family in Kim’s world. It’s all about the Kash. Maybe if she’d known just how much it would end up costing her, she would have stuck it out with Kris.

Sure, Mark Wahlberg implied victims of 9/11 were pussies for not disarming the terrorists and safely landing the plane like Mark Wahlberg would have done but that comment was taken out of context. Appearing on the Kid Kraddick Show last Friday, Mark Wahlberg explained:
“I don’t go out doing publicity for movies or a magazine cover talking about what’s important to me. I want to promote the movie and whatever questions they want to ask me I am more than comfortable talking about. But it wasn’t a Q&A (question and answer) where it was the exact question and my exact response. It was somebody’s interpretation of it and you know… that’s not OK because I don’t want people to be offended. I would never do that.”
In the interview, Mark Wahlberg also says he doesn’t masturbate anymore. Now he’s offended by that too.
“This guy is asking me about sexual questions and I’m married and I have four kids, how inappropriate is that?”
Celebrities are more often than not idiots. They live life one sentence at a time. The only way they can think ahead is if it’s written on a piece of paper for them. If it wasn’t for their publicists and agents, theyd’ swim off the edge of their infinity pools like lemmings.

Showing some love to his German fans, Nicolas Cage was spotted at a photocall for his new film ?Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance? today (January 23) in Berlin.
The ?National Treasure? star showed up at the Hotel de Rome where he posed for pictures and chatted with the press ahead of the film?s premiere.
In a recent interview, Nicolas explained that while the new ?Ghost Rider? flick is the second in the franchise, he considers it an independent work.
?I don?t see this as a sequel at all. I see this as Ghost Rider: Spirit Of Vengeance. The other movie was Ghost Rider. This movie is Ghost Rider: Spirit Of Vengeance.?
?Johnny Blaze is in a much different place in this movie. It?s a much edgier, almost cynical interpretation compared to the firstGhost Rider. Because in that movie, Johnny was trying to keep everything at bay, to keep things from erupting.?
Cage added, ?I couldn?t get my head around how I was supposed to perceive something like that to be a hero, so I was automatically attracted to that complexity. It?s easy to love Superman, it?s easy to love Captain America, but it?s a challenge to love the Ghost Rider. As I got older that carried on into my dramatic work ? I?m always looking for flawed characters who have a pathos and a kind of tragedy to them.?

Over the weekend, Vanessa Hudgens was papped in a bikini while frolicking at the beach with her latest boyfriend, Austin Butler. The whole thing is so obviously posed, and one gets the feeling that she’s got the paps on speed dial. Vanessa certainly has a history of releasing photos when it suits her career to do so. Everyone remembers those infamous 2007 nude cell phone shots that Vanessa took of herself during her High School Musical days that somehow (oops!) ended up in the hands of the public. Then last March, Vanessa feigned outrage at a conveniently released set of nude photos that surfaced right ahead of Bandslam although that little “mistake” didn’t exactly pay off at the box office. Still, racy photos are her go-to move, so she shall not be deterred for long.
Now Vanessa’s got a new movie — Journey 2: The Mysterious Island — which also stars one of Vanessa’s ex-lovers, Josh Hutcherson, coming out on February 10. While we haven’t seen any top-secret cell phone photos yet (but there’s still time for that), Vanessa has taken to the beach for some strategically staged photos in and out of the water with poor, unaware Austin:
Since being reunited in Hawaii earlier this week, Vanessa Hudgens and her boyfriend Austin Butler haven’t been able to keep their hands off each other.
And it was no different yesterday, as the couple put on yet another public display of affection in the waters of Hawaii.

It’s been a whirlwind week for the brunette beauty who was in Australia last Sunday with former boyfriend Josh Hutcherson promoting their new movie Journey 2: The Mysterious Island.
Journey 2: The Mysterious Island centres around a woman and her boyfriend on a mission to find his grandfather, who is thought to be missing on a mythical island.
It co-stars Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson who was brought in to replace Brendan Fraser who starred in the last instalment titled Journey to the Center of the Earth.
The action-adventure will hit theatres in the US on Friday, February 10.

Well, let’s not completely jump to conclusions here. Perhaps Vanessa just happened to plan a beach vacation for this weekend well in advance of knowing the date for Journey 2‘s premiere date. Or maybe she just got a lark and decided to go to the beach and show off her cute booty for no reason at all. I mean, she’s got a really cute booty that must be very difficult to hide.
Still, something about this screams “Look at me in a bikini! Look at my beautiful boyfriend! Go see my movie now, okay?” Eh, the movie’s going to do well anyway regardless of whether Vanessa’s showing off her great figure or not. As the sequel to Journey to the Center of the Earth, which was a hell of a lot of fun and grossed $241 million worldwide, Journey 2 already had a head start at success even before the casting process began. As a bonus, the filmmakers have swapped out Brendan Fraser with Dwayne Johnson. Slurp!

Miley Cyrus stepped out over the weekend with a new cropped hairdo. She was also wearing a white t-shirt without a bra, which is all too common for her. Miley should invest in some cami tops with built in bras if it’s such a problem for her to harness her girls. At least she had on a flannel shirt for coverage. Anyway Miley tweeted that she got a hair cut and had about five inches chopped off. It looks like she’s freshened up the color too, but that might just be the effect of the haircut, as I’ve heard hairdressers talk about how shorter hair can make your haircolor look different.
Miley Cyrus may have left her bra at home, but there was a good reason for it — she was preoccupied with her brand-new haircut!
On Friday, the underwear-less star, who sported a white T-shirt underneath an unbuttoned flannel and denim cut-off shorts, met up with some friends at the Los Angeles eatery Wokcano, while debuting her freshly cropped off hair.
“Just got a hurrrr cut,” the 19-year-old tweeted that day.

Cyrus was last spotted with her longer locks when she stepped out with her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth at the 2012 People’s Choice Awards, where she wowed in a David Koma dress, Neil Lane jewelry, Jimmu Choo heels and a Marchesa clutch.
Hemsworth, who turned 22 on January 13, is the proud owner of a new puppy, a gift from Cyrus herself.

I’m thinking that Miley also removed some hair extensions, similar to how Aniston copped to getting extensions taken out for her crop cut. I heard Miley admit in an interview a couple of years ago that she had hair extensions, but back then she was sporting much longer, curlier (and darker) hair. So does she look cute with her new hair? She definitely does if you ignore her fug 90s outfit completely, and she probably feels great after losing a little weight recently. (That she didn’t need to lose.) I have to say that I liked her hair longer, similar to how I liked Aniston’s hair best when it was long and blown out. It’s easier to style short hair, but I find longer hair prettier and more flattering. I hate getting mine cut, though, so I’m biased.
Also, I have to say something about the new puppy that Miley gifted her on-again boyfriend, Liam. Here he is, completely adorable and sweet. [via Miley's Twitter] I don’t know about dog breeds and just spent too much time trying to figure out what kind of pup this is. (Is he/she a Boxer or a mixed breed?) It seems like Miley gets puppies often though. In August of last year she just got two huskies and earlier in the year she was seen toting around another tiny dog. She clearly loves dogs and it shows.

After playing a little back and forth with the media, and maybe holding some crisis talks this weekend, Heidi Klum and Seal have officially announced their separation. It’s sad to hear of such a well liked celebrity couple with four kids splitting, especially one that seemed as solid and loving as these two. Here’s their statement, given to People, in which they confirm the news that they’re splitting:
In an exclusive statement to PEOPLE, the Project Runway host and the singer say:
“While we have enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage, after much soul-searching we have decided to separate.
“We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart. This is an amicable process and protecting the well-being of our children remains our top priority, especially during this time of transition.
“We thank our family, friends, and fans for their kind words of support. And for our children’s sake, we appreciate you respecting our privacy.”
The couple are parents to Leni, 7, Henry, 6, Johan, 5, and Lou, 2.

This leaves us wondering why, and assuming that something serious must have happened to break up what seemed from the outside to be a happy marriage. Seal has been on tour and Heidi has been working both in America and in Germany, which suggests too much time apart and also the possibility of infidelity. According to a new report in TMZ, which broke the story of Heidi and Seal’s impending divorce, there was no cheating going on and Heidi was just fed up with Seal’s temper:
Heidi Klum is divorcing Seal largely because she has had it with his volcanic temper … TMZ has learned.
Sources directly connected with the couple tell us … Heidi’s decision to divorce Seal has nothing to do with a third person. There is NO issue of infidelity.
But Seal’s inability to control his anger has become too much for Heidi to take, in no small part because it’s affecting their children.
TMZ broke the story that Heidi will divorce Seal, and we’ve learned this was not a snap decision. As one source said, “It was a long time in coming.”
We’re also told … their careers also played a part in Heidi’s decision. She has become a mega-entrepreneur and extremely rich, and that professional evolution has created a distance between them.
For his part, Seal has a new album coming out and he’s about to launch an international tour.
We’re told Heidi and Seal are still living under the same roof, but that will change very soon.

I believe that Seal has a nasty temper, because I remember reporting in 2008 about a video of him going off on the paparazzi and calling them “scum” for seemingly no reason. (You can still see the video here.) Seal was outside paparazzi hotspot Madeo with Heidi. Celebrities know they’ll be photographed there and it’s not like anyone was following those two or finding them at an out-of-the-way place. The photographers there were very respectful, telling Seal they liked his music and asking to shake his hand. Seal refused and said “why would I shake hands with scum?” He then got in an extended argument with the guys and claimed that paparazzi ruined lives. Heidi was kind of cowering there while Seal went off. To me it was a rare glimpse that all wasn’t as it seemed in their relationship.
British outlet The Sun points us to a recent interview with Seal in which he admits that he has issues with Heidi. He said “We certainly have differences of opinion. I mean, she’s German and I’m English, so if I said we didn’t have differences of opinion, no one would believe that.” He then went on to say they disagree about Christmas, as Heidi follows the German tradition of opening all the presents on Christmas Eve. “I just don’t see the logic in it, it’s Christmas, ie, Jesus Christ? And last time I checked, Christ was born on 25 December. But you know what, pick your battles. That’s one I don’t bother with.
“I’m going to make this T-Shirt up saying, ‘you can either be right or be happy’.”
We’ve also heard that Seal has been partying a lot and The Sun reported that he’s spent hardly any time with Heidi. They quote a source who claims “The marriage ended months ago in reality. They rarely saw each other and it wouldn’t be unusual for them to go months without spending any real quality time together. Ships that pass in the night would be an overstatement.”
Friday On Twitter, Seal posted a bizarre close-up photo of what looks like his arm with the caption “The End.” The Daily Mail mentions that Seal’s arm has a tattoo of angel wings on it, (It was such a strange picture that it was hard to see), which he probably got in honor of former Victoria’s Secret model Heidi. Tweeting that photo is the kind of douche move you would expect from someone like Ashton Kutcher, but it does suggest that Heidi pulled the plug, not Seal. So what happened exactly? Was Seal just too combative for Heidi as outlets are claiming? I’m thinking there’s probably more to it than that.

Wearing a stylish LBD with a matching black coat and ankle boots, the "Shrek" star headed off to check out the Versace Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2012 show.
Once arrived, Cameron nabbed herself a primo front row seat as she gazed upon the catwalk along with fellow Tinseltown attendee Diane Kruger before chatting with designer Donatella Versace at show's end.

A report by TMZ over the weekend claimed a divorce between Heidi Klum and Seal was imminent. But if Us Weekly and PEOPLE are to be believed, it’s not happening. Though the couple has hit a rough patch, they have no plans to split just yet, claims the two publications.
“Nothing is finalized or for sure. Seal flew back from the UK yesterday and he and Heidi are in the house together now,” friend close to the couple tells Us. “They’ve had a very rough road lately. They’re either madly in love or having crazy fights.”
The friend goes on to say that the couple’s recent trip to Aspen was full of tension, adding “they fought a lot. It was a very hard trip.” Us Weekly
PEOPLE seconded the two’s bipolar relationship reiterating that there’s no divorce yet.
Contrary to reports that surfaced Saturday, “They’ve been fighting a lot lately, but they have no plans to announce a split right now,” the source says. “They’re not divorcing.”
But they have been weathering a rough patch.
According to the insider, in recent months, distance has tested the famously lovey-dovey pair.
Back together at their Brentwood, Calif., home on Saturday, “they seem to be doing a lot better,” the source adds. “They’re both wearing their wedding bands.” PEOPLE
Aw, hell no. I already broke out the massage oils and bath bombs as part of my master plan for comforting Heidi Klum in her time of need. Plus, I’ve been doing shoulder shrugs for the past hour to give her something substantial to cry on. Next time Heidi decides to save her marriage, she should quit being so selfish and think about me first.

They've shared one of the most passionate unions in Tinseltown, so it comes as sad and surprising news that Heidi Klum is getting divorced from husband Seal.
The "Project Runway" star and her singer husband confirmed rumors of a parting on Sunday (January 22) by releasing a statement reading, "While we have enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage, after much soul-searching we have decided to separate."
The joint statement added, "We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart. This is an amicable process and protecting the well-being of our children remains our top priority, especially during this time of transition. The sunshine state sighting comes just days after Whitney announced on her Celebuzz website that she recently had the opportunity to make an appearance on the daytime game show "The Price Is Right".
Of the fun-filled experience, the 26-year-old wrote, "Hey love bugs, Like most of you probably were, I was a HUGE fan of The Price is Right when I was a kid. In fact, my grandma was such a big fan of the CBS soap operas that we would often watch The Price is Right and then spend hours after watching Young and the Restless, Bold and the Beautiful, and Guiding Light.
