The shopping season is upon us, and Jessica Simpson was spotted doing her part for the local economy in New York City on Monday (November 28).
The ?Price of Beauty? babe looked bundled up and comfy in leggings, Uggs, a black top and fur coat as she exited Barney?s Department Store and happily smiled for the on-hand photogs before climbing into her chauffeured vehicle.
Ms Simpson, who is pregnant with her first child with fiance Eric Johnson, recently told Closer magazine they do not know the sex of the unborn baby yet.
"I will find out at some point. I want to buy the clothes and do the nursery, so when I know, everybody will know because I have a very big mouth,? the star jokingly admitted.

In the clip, McPhee?s character is shown taking off for New York City and pursuing her dream of being a singer.
The series, which premieres in February, also stars ?Will & Grace? star Debra Messing and ?Ever After? actress Anjelica Huston.

And Victoria will be more than just a mere spectator tonight- she?s up for a pair of awards including Designer Brand and Red Carpet Award.

Christian Bale is done with the Batman franchise. He and Nolan wrapped filming a few days ago which marked the end of Batman.
“I wrapped a few days ago so that will be the last time I’m taking that [Batman hood] off,” The Dark Knight Rises star tells the Philippine Daily Inquirer. “I believe that the whole production wrapped yesterday, so it’s all done. Everything’s finished. It’s me and [director Christopher Nolan] — that will be the end of that Batman era.” Us Magazine
This is bad news for everyone who loves continuity because you know they’re going to want to extend this series for another three movies when they see how much it makes on opening weekend. Batman 4 will probably be titled Batman vs the Pale, Brooding Vampires and Maybe Werewolves If They’re Still Popular.

When Kelly Osbourne presented her her Bob Marley cake, Miley said, “You know you’re a stoner when friends make you a Bob Malrey cake — you know you smoke way too much f**kin’ weed.”Osbourne joked, “I thought salvia was your problem, man?”
That’s for all you Miley Cyrus apologists out there. She’s a big pothead and everyone knows it. The only thing surprising about this video is they didn’t roll joints to use as candles on the cake.
Oh but here comes her reps to protect her pristine image. They say the Bob Marley cake was an inside joke and that Kelly Osbourne has been calling Miley “Bob Marley” ever since the salvia incident. The rep insists Miley was joking when she called herself a stoner.

Adding more frequent flyer points to her credit, Gwyneth Paltrow was spotted catching a flight to the USA at London?s Heathrow International Airport today (November 28).
The ?Sliding Doors? starlet was accompanied by a bodyguard as she checked in for her flight, cleared the security checkpoint and walked on to her gate.
In a recent interview, Gwyn, who is the face of the current Coach handbag campaign, chatted about her own personal sense of style.
Paltrow explained, "I grew up in New York City and I went to an all-girls school where I had to wear a uniform. And that idea of a uniform ? something that you wear everyday, that looks good, that's classic ? I kind of have my uniform and I have a twist on it every day. I look to women of older generations like Katharine Hepburn, Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn, who really had their own style. Even someone like Angelica Huston today really wears what works for her and looks great."
As for her view on aging, Gwyneth shared, "I'm not afraid, it's inevitable, I am not that excited about it. I am gonna fight it every step of the way. But I also think it's nice to be a real woman who's lived life and had kids and experiences and heartbreak and joy and all of that shows on your face."

These Mexico jaunts are becoming a regular thing for Clooney – he spent last Christmas in Cabo with Elisabetta Canalis and some friends. Well, some of Clooney?s friends joined him on this trip too – notably, Cindy Crawford, Rande Gerber and Alex Rodriguez. You can even see A-Rod in some of these photos – he?s facing George and Stacy. I feel like Alex was probably eyeing Stacy as a potential addition to his Gladiator Bikini Parties, where the buffest, burliest girl wins the chance to ride Alex?s jock for a night. Ew? I grossed myself out on that one.
Should we talk about Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber? They always travel to spend time with George and his girlfriend of the moment. Do you think Cindy ever gets tired of trying to make conversation with them? Do you think the girlfriends ever get jealous of Cindy? Because, just my opinion, George has always been in love with Cindy and he chooses girls that resemble her to varying degrees. It feels like it would be awkward, and yet Cindy and Rande turn up at all of George?s holidays.
I have another question: why is Clooney not spending his vacation time in Italy? He owns that beautiful villa, you?d think he?d want to spend more time there. I have a theory – something about Clooney wanting to be kind to Elisabetta Canalis, and he?s not going to bring any new girlfriends to Italy for a while. Plus, I think Clooney is just trying to dodge an Italian subpoena to appear in one of Silvio Berlosconi?s trials. At this point, can?t we just admit that Elisabetta was one of Berlosconi?s girls? She is exactly his type, and I suspect Elisabetta was a favorite for those bunga-bunga parties.
PS? I still can?t get enough of Clooney pointing at Stacy?s biscuits and making faces.

Looks like Jennifer Love Hewitt’s club for failed relationships just got a lot lonelier because Anne Hathway found a guy who isn’t a shady con-artist who pretends to be a priest as part of a real estate scam. That is to say, after three years of dating, Anne Hathaway and actor Adam Shulman are engaged.
The Oscar-nominated actress, 29, has been spotted out and about recently wearing an engagement ring — designed, her rep tells Us, by Kwiat Heritage.
“We hit it off immediately, but it took us a pretty long time to get together,” Hathaway has said. After they realized they were both single, the actress reveals that “things sped up a bit — and I think I’ll leave it at that.”
“So far, it’s worked out great,” the Dark Knight Rises actress told Harper’s Bazaar of her guy, adding that Shulman was far more “mellow” than her previous romances.

Damn, I just had a conspiratorial side-eye in the Christian Bale post about Anne Hathaway, and now here she is, all princessy and engaged. Yes, People Magazine is confirming that Anne is engaged to her boyfriend of three years, Adam Shulman. Three things: one, Adam is Anne?s first relationship after her years-long relationship with imprisoned con artist Raffaello Follieri. Two, after the Follieri mess, Anne got the reputation as a very high-maintenance girlfriend, so good luck to Adam Shulman (who I think looks sort of like Ryan Gosling, right?). And three, I still kind of think Anne might have cheated on Adam with a costar. Mostly because of this Lainey blind item. But anyway? congrats to Anne and Adam!
Is the ultimate on-screen princess finally getting her fairy-tale ending?
Anne Hathaway is engaged to wed longtime boyfriend Adam Shulman, 30, whom she began dating in 2008, her rep confirms to PEOPLE.
On Sunday, the actress was photographed sporting a ring in a Brooklyn park along with Shulman.
“I am very much in love with him, [only] Adam totally ruined my plan,” Hathaway, 28, previously said of their three-year relationship. “I was really actually looking forward to a little alone time, and then I fell in love like a fool!”
Her relationship with the actor-jewelry designer followed a less happy ending with ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri in the summer of 2008, after he pled guilty to 14 counts of money laundering, conspiracy and wire fraud.
“I hate talking about the breakup because I don’t want it to define me, but as is to be expected, there were a lot of lingering trust issues,” she said last year of their highly publicized fall-out.
Over the summer, she gushed about Shulman at the premiere of her movie One Day.
“I’m a romantic at heart,” she told PEOPLE. “He’s the best!”

I used to find Anne rather cloying and annoying, but I?ve grown to like her a great deal over the past few years. She came out of the Follieri mess relatively unscathed, she started working really hard and turning in some good to great performances in film after film, plus I kind of like that she seems like an anal-retentive girly-girl. It feels like Maggie was just pregnant with Ramona a few years ago. Scarlett Johansson covers the December issue of Interview magazine to promote her new film, We Bought a Zoo, which was directed by Cameron Crowe and has already drawn the ire of PETA. The film also stars Matt Damon, who, oddly enough, has just rubbed shoulders with PETA over his attendance at a bullfighting match. For her part, the magazine notes that Scarlett is coming off a tumultuous year after divorcing Ryan Reynolds (and feeling quite depressed as a result) before rebounding with the likes of Sean Penn and his chain-smoking toupee.
Then there were the infamous tata & booty shots downloaded around the world. Scar really did look good in those photos, didn’t she? Consequently, I’m trying to wrap my head around this photoshoot, which features Scar’s rather trimmed-down Avengers physique and a boyish hairstyle. On one hand, the stylist seems to be aiming for an androgynous vibe, which is somewhat counteracted by Scar’s poses:

On Being Politically Active: “I’m already planning what I’m going to wear to the next White House Correspondents? dinner. Next time I go I’m going to find Anderson Cooper?s table and camp out there. My brother was totally geeked-out by Katie Couric. I think he followed her around the entire night. I was chasing after him, and I turned around, and I had a bunch of Republican senators chasing after me. [laughs] But honestly I think it’s the best party in town. I’d rather go to the White House Correspondents’ dinner than any awards show.”
On Balancing Fame & Privacy: “I don’t really profess to know how to balance any of it. I don’t profess to know how to balance the positive and the negative media attention. It’s a gamble every time you put yourself out there, and, certainly, I’m always readjusting to it. But I hope it never becomes normal to feel scrutinized. I value my privacy and my personal life-and I certainly don’t exploit my personal life. But that’s not always in your control. There are, unfortunately, people who are interested in prying. You know, my favorite actors are actors who are enigmatic and mysterious and never make the obvious choice in terms of the projects they do or who they work with or their craft. But I think that the less I know about an actor, the more chance I have of allowing their own persona to kind of slip away so I can get completely lost in the character they’re playing, and the more that people think they know about your personal life, the more difficult it becomes to preserve that. So when I’m not working or promoting something, I try to be as under-the-radar as I can. This has just been a bit of a crazy year.”
On Avoiding Twitter “Personally, I don’t feel the need to brand myself in that way. But as a means to share information and raise awareness of things, I think these social-networking platforms are unprecedented. They’re amazing tools to communicate information-especially about different causes or crises or movements. That said, I don’t have a Facebook or a Twitter account, and I don’t know how I feel about this idea of, ‘Now, I’m eating dinner, and I want everyone to know that I’m having dinner at this time’ or ‘I just mailed a letter and dropped off my kids.’ That, to me, is a very strange phenomenon. I can’t think of anything I’d rather do less than have to continuously share details of my everyday life. I’m always surprised that certain actors have Twitter accounts.”
On Her Work In Somalia & Kenya: Well, I’ve been fortunate enough to travel with Oxfam several times, and they’re always so well organized, so it was a good way to show the kind of work they’re doing. You read statistics all the time like, “13 million people are at risk because of the severe drought in East Africa,” but I think those kinds of numbers fall on deaf ears-there’s so much devastation in the world, that it’s a bit overwhelming for people. But by seeing a first-hand account of something like the effects of the drought in the Horn of Africa, you can have a different relationship with the story. It?s one of the blessings that come with new media. I’m hoping to go to Ethiopia in February and do a similar kind of project there because it’s an ongoing crisis, so I think it’s important to keep some focus there right now.
“It’s seemingly a whole other world. But in actuality, you’re standing next to somebody, looking them in the eye, and what you realize is that there is a human connectivity that exists between people no matter the cultural difference. You don’t even have to go that far. There are people in America who are absolutely desperate right now, who have no means to support their families, who have no opportunities to better themselves or their education-and they’re not that different from the farmers and working-class people that I visited when I went to Kenya with Oxfam. Whether they’re in America or in Africa, people want to work. They want to have purpose. They want to provide for themselves and their families. They don’t want handouts. They don’t want to be completely dependent on their governments-even though there’s usually no opportunity for that anyway. But they want to be self-sufficient and have a sustainable lifestyle. You know, I just finished this movie, The Avengers, in September, and we shot in places like Albuquerque, New Mexico, and in Cleveland, and around Ohio. We shot in a town called Wilmington in Ohio. It’s a lovely town, and the people there were really generous and welcomed us with open arms, but I’m sure part of that was probably that this film was an opportunity for commerce that they haven’t had for a long time. So these problems sometimes seem so impossibly large that it?s hard not to be pessimistic.”

Hopefully, Scarlett was just joking about having her outfit all picked out for next year’s White House Correspondents Dinner. Whatever the case, I’m just hoping that the wonk foot makes another appearance at the event. It would be a great annual tradition, you know? But I hate to make fun of Scarlett for what she’s said in this interview because, honestly, she seems to have a better grasp on worldly issues than most starlets these days. I know that it’s really easy to laugh at Scar for fancying herself an intellectual, but she does well here. Mostly.
Now onto the rest of this puzzling photoshoot. How exactly does this topless picture of Scarlett seem so entirely unappealing? It’s mystifying.

Janet Jackson partnered with Blackglama to sell a luxury mink pelt collection of 15 items including coats and gloves which will be sold at high-end stores. Suffice to say, fat chance of finding the collection at Walmart.
“The art of fashion is one of my great passions. I’ve worked for years to bring a collection into the world. Partnering with Blackglama is very exciting,” she said.
“When we began preparation for the second Blackglama campaign, Janet became very involved in the design process. The result was an amazing collection of Blackglama garments and accessories that reflect Janet’s tremendous sense of style and fashion,” said Mike McCrea, VP of Marketing for Blackglama.

However, this announcement has one dork in a tizzy. A long time fan was so disgusted by the news that he’s now decided to get a life. Sean Oltersdorf of Michigan was so upset that he’s eBay-ing his entire 25-year-plus collection of Janet items which include posters, magazines, photos and vinyl.
“I am a long-time Janet Jackson fan — or, I should say, I used to be. I am disgusted and have decided I want to auction off my entire 25 years-plus of Janet items and donate the proceeds to PETA,” said Oltersdorf.

As I?ve said before, I don?t understand why Jennifer Lopez is slumming it with her 24-year-old backup dancer, Casper Smart. It would be one thing if he was really pretty – that, I might understand. Every girl likes to look at pretty things. But Casper is not pretty. He has a good body and he can dance and? that?s about it. Which means THAT is how low Jennifer has set the bar. Good body and a good dancer – what is this, ninth grade?! Anyway, Jennifer took her kids and her boy-toy to Hawaii for some rest and relaxation. Fashionista Jennifer Lopez didn’t go shopping on Black Friday. Instead, she feasted her eyes on Casper Smart, her 24-year-old dancer beau of just a few weeks, who doffed his top during a sexy Thanksgiving vacation in Kauai, Hawaii.
New photos from Friday reveal Lopez, 42, sipping a tropical cocktail and lounging in her bikini in a cabana alongside her topless, muscular new man. As previously reported by Us Weekly, Lopez, Smart and her 3-year-old twins Max and Emme spent the Thanksgiving holiday in Hawaii.
“Casper was great with the kids,” a source told Us. During a Thursday outing on the beach, Smart (who’s performed with Lopez onstage numerous times) “was twirling them around and doing flips with Emme and she seemed very comfortable with him.”
Two Sundays ago — following a hot performance at the American Music Awards — the new couple packed on the PDA at a post-AMAs bash in L.A.
No word yet on whether Lopez and Smart are exclusive. In early November, Lopez hooked up with ex Marc Anthony (they split in July after seven years of marriage) in Puerto Rico.
Cautions a friend of the former super-couple: “They may sleep together, but they’re over!”

It?s already been pointed out that Jennifer claimed she wasn?t going to introduce her kids to any boyfriends unless it got serious. Does this mean that it?s ?serious? with Casper and Jennifer? Have they even had time to get ?serious?? They?ve been dating for what? A month or two? So, basically, Max and Emme are going to have lots of ?uncles? for a while OR Jennifer is going to end up marrying another g–damn backup dancer. COME ON J.LO. Whenever I hear someone describe Charlize Theron as a bitch, I think to myself, ?Yeah, I could totally see that.? She doesn?t seem like an aggressively horrible mean girl or anything, she just doesn?t seem like a woman who aims to be pleasant or easy-going or likeable. There?s nothing wrong with being unpleasant or bitchy, obviously. But it always helps to have a little self-awareness. Charlize gave an interview to People Magazine in which she claims that she wasn?t popular when she was in school, and she was bullied from the age of 7 to 12. Ah, so the victim grew up to become the iciest bitch on the block? Nothing can touch your tender heart now, Charlize.
Playing a nasty schoolgirl in the new dark comedy Young Adult, Charlize Theron recalls her own high school days as the girl who never fit in, especially with the boys.
“I wore really nerdy glasses because I was blind as could be and the boys didn’t like [me],” the actress, 36, told PEOPLE recently in New York. “I didn’t have any boyfriends, but lots of crushes.”
Ignored by a boy she had a crush on, she says she had longed to be part of the in-crowd, causing her to do “crazy things.”
“I wasn’t in the popular crowd. There was a really popular girl at school and I was obsessed with her. I mean you would go to jail for that stuff today,” Theron says with a laugh. “I was in tears one day because I couldn’t sit next to her.”
She also says she was bullied by her classmates for her glasses and not having the perfect haircut and clothes.
“I actually got a lot of the mean girl stuff from the ages of 7 to 12. I was pretty much a mess in primary school,” she admits. “But I got that out of my system by the time I got to high school and was more immune to all of that stuff.”
Young Adult opens Dec. 9.

If you play the odds, a good chunk of these celebrities are lying about their awkward, uncool school years. Now, I?ll believe that Charlize wasn?t the most popular girl, and I?ll believe that she felt awkward, but for goodness sake, let it GO.

Victoria Beckham is the recipient of ?The Flynn Kerr-Bloom Effect? from me – meaning that I like a celebrity baby so much, my opinion of the celebrity baby?s parents greatly improves. I adore little Harper Seven Beckham. She is one adorable, well-dressed, well-behaved, gloriously chubby babies I?ve seen, and I like Victoria and David Beckham so much more now that they have little Harper.
Anyway, these are photos of Posh and Harp at LAX yesterday – they?re flying into London to attend tonight?s British Fashion Awards. I love how Posh isn?t carrying any luggage, or even a purse. I?m sure she has ?people? for that, but not even carrying your own purse in an airport? You should always have your passport and your boarding pass close at hand, for the love of God. But Victoria knows how to put together a candid photo, and how to treat every candid photo shoot like she?s owning the catwalk.
The Mail pointed out that for the flight, Harper?s ensemble included a pair of ribbed Chlo tights, at the cost of 30 a pair (approximately $50 or so). Would you put your baby in $50 tights? Meh. So far, Harper has been clad in Stella McCartney, Bonpoint and Marie-Chantal. I want Harper to grow up to be a dirty-jeans-wearing tomboy so badly.
Anyway, I?m sure Posh will be front and center at tonight?s British Fashion Awards. Her fashion lines are doing very well, and she?s really remade herself into a modern designer, hasn?t she? In a recent interview, Posh discussed her business:
The Spice Girl told WWD: ‘There are quite a few video conferences at 5 a.m. with me in my dressing gown, holding baby. For me it’s no different than it is for a lot of women out there. It’s like juggling glass balls. I love it.’
The mother-of-four has also been busy creating an e-commerce site, which will go live next year. Victoria’s fashion label is going from strength to strength. She said: ‘Though I’m trying to take baby steps, the business is growing very quickly. Our turnover year-over-year has increased over 120 per cent. I think to anyone’s standards that’s very impressive.’

I barely recognized Penelope Cruz in these photos. That?s a powerful haircut, correct? When the person?s face seems to completely change just be adding some layers and fluffing some junk up. I actually thought, at first glance, that this was one of those Megan Fox/Tamara Ecclestone hybrid women, because some of these brunettes are seriously starting to look alike.
Anyway, these are photos of Penelope (and Emile Hirsch) at the Turin Film Festival, where they premiered their new film, Venuto al Mondo. I actually like Penelope?s dress – it?s L?Wren Scott, and it?s got a nice balance of conservative and clingy/sexy. But what do you think of Penelope?s new hair? This isn?t her first bangs-look. She started doing itsy-bitsy bangs (trauma) earlier this year. It got really bad when she was promoting that last Pirates of Caribbean movie, but I still suspect those tiny bangs were some kind of clip-ons. And then Penelope did the longer bangsy-layers for a film, and now we?ve got this on our hands – a shorter haircut overall, with longer bangs.
Thoughts? My hair puffs up like this when it?s humid, so I?m not entirely convinced that this is the hairstyle Penelope intended to have. Overall, I think it ages her – she?s still a beautiful woman, but this feels like a ?I?m a mom now, I need something low-maintenance? rather than an actual trendy hairstyle. So? I kind of think it sucks.

Taking advantage of the holiday break, Jessica Alba joined husband Cash Warren in treating their two girls Honor Marie and Haven Garner to a trip to Disneyland in Anaheim, CA on Saturday (November 26).
For the Thanksgiving weekend adventure, the fabulous foursome was joined by Jessica's parents as the group rode the rides, watched a big parade and chowed down at the theme park's snack stands.
Giving his actress wife and their baby a breather, Cash took Honor on her favorite ride a few times while Jessica stayed back to rest with Haven and her parents.
After getting the fill of the Magic Kingdom, Jessica and family closed out the fun-filled visit by loading Honor onto the merry-go-round for a final spin, with an appreciative Miss Alba tweeting shortly after her Thanksgiving holiday getaway, "Thank you Kevin for making our trip to Disneyland so incredibly amazing 4 my family!"

Bringing an end to a relaxing holiday weekend, Jennifer Aniston was alongside boyfriend Justin Theroux as the couple took their pet pooch for a stroll in Beverly Hills, CA on Sunday (November 27).
Keeping herself warm with a scarf and a long sleeve t-shirt, the former "Friends" actress and her "Wanderlust" co-star looked to be enjoying their afternoon stroll as they chatted amongst one another while followed closely by a bodyguard during the midday walk.
The sighting comes amidst reports telling that Miss Aniston had a near run-in with ex-husband Brad Pitt at the Arclight Cinemas in Hollywood on Friday.
With Pitt said to have been exiting a 2PM showing of "Hugo" with his family just minutes before Jennifer and Justin turned up for a later movie, a source told X17, "Justin and Jennifer skipped the popcorn and went straight in. Like five minutes later, Brad and the kids came out of the theater. They just missed each other!"
