Alba?s Honest Company just received the B Corporation Certification, acknowledging that their products are truly healthy and eco-friendly.

The Latino beauty dropped the clip on Monday (July 23), finding time to tweet about the short video offering in between a full day of shopping and dinner with her beau, Casper Smart.
As for J. Lo's teaser, the 43-year-old is trying to get her fans pumped ahead of the full video's mid-week release, writing, "My #GoinIn video premieres this Wednesday! Check out a sneak peek: http://bit.ly/NrLBc1 It's on my greatest hits album, out tomorrow!"

Katie Holmes covers the September issue of C Magazine, and the interview took place on June 27, which is one day before she filed for divorce from tiny tyrant Tom Cruise. She looks gorgeous on the cover, right? I’m sure the shoot took place either at the same time or in close proximity to the interview, so I’m assuming that bit of a glint in Katie’s eye is rather telling. Also quite telling is the interview itself. As Kaiser noted in regard to Katie’s recent Elle feature, there’s quite a bit of telegraphing to be had from what is revealed by what Katie says (or in this case, what she doesn’t say). She’s definitely evasive here, but I have to wonder why she’s suddenly appearing on various magazine covers with very little to promote other than her suddenly single status. Perhaps that’s the answer, or maybe Katie talks about her Holmes & Yang line here and that’s just been left out of the excerpts revealed thus far:
“Going back over the tapes, there were signs: Holmes was certainly very aware of herself, laying a couple cards on the table but never showing her whole hand,” senior editor Kelsey McKinnon, who interviewed Holmes, tells WWD. “Most noticeably, the one name decisively absent from her lexicon: Tom Cruise. She never actually refers to him by name over pages and pages of transcription.”
When McKinnon asked Holmes if having Suri, 6, brought her and Cruise, 50, closer together, the Ohio native became flustered. “I don’t know. I mean. . . I don’t know,” Holmes responded. “People have been having babies a long time.”
Regarding her future, Holmes told the magazine that she is “ready to take on some more challenging roles.”
“I feel like I worked so much at such a young age that I really wanted to have life experiences. I feel more balanced and like I have more to bring to the table,” she explained. “I always felt like I wanted to catch up [in my personal life] to what I was doing [in my career].”

Working on their latest film, Justin Timberlake was seen chatting with Ben Affleck on a basketball court's sideline while filming their new movie "Runner, Runner" in Puerto Rico today (July 23).
The "Good Will Hunting" actor and writer sported a red and yellow "Jaco" uniform with black tennis shoes while the "Social Network" star worked the sidelines in a striped button-down dress shirt and dark pants.
The movie stars Timberlake as a man who loses his college tuition cash by playing online poker. He travels to the poker site's home Costa Rica in order to win back his money from site owner, played by Affleck.
Every leading man needs a leading lady and 26-year-old British actress Gemma Arterton will fill the role in this film. "Runner, Runner" is scheduled for release sometime in 2013.

Happy birthday to Jennifer Lopez! She turns 43 years old today. Does she look 43? I don?t think she does. I think she could easily pass for mid-30s. Of course, I also think she might have gotten some slight plastic surgery a few years ago, nothing too drastic, but noticeable if you look through photos of J.Lo throughout the past decade. Anyway, these are photos of Jennifer and Casper Smart out to dinner last night in NYC. I?m guessing it was Jennifer?s pre-birthday dinner, and she made Casper put on his big-boy clothes and take her out (although she paid). Can I just say? I?m pretty much in love with Jennifer?s outfit. Those leather pants are amazing and that blouse is really cool.
Yesterday, we discussed whether Casper would propose to Jennifer on her birthday. I?m seeing a lot of beautiful rings on Jennifer?s fingers, but nothing is screaming ?engagement ring!? to me. Maybe he?ll propose tonight? I really do think she?s expecting it. An engagement would be right on schedule for her. It’s actually past due.

Last week, when I covered the latest Madonna ?controversy? in which she basically called a French politician a Nazi, I mentioned that Madonna?s MDNA stage show features a lot of ?prop guns?. She?s touring Europe right now, which doesn?t have the kind of rampant gun problems we have in America, so I kept expecting to hear more stuff from European politicians about that issue in particular, but not so much. Beyond the actual politics of ?prop guns used during a Madonna show,? seeing Madge pop her hip out while waving around a prop gun is pretty lame in general. We?re supposed to think she?s avant-garde, I think. When really she just looks out of touch.
Anyway, you know where I?m going with this. The new Madonna controversy is that, following the Colorado massacre, Madonna has not removed prop guns from her stage show. At all. Some people are offended. When she was in Scotland, the authorities even warned her about using the prop guns, and she did it anyway.
Maybe she really just doesn’t read the news, but Madonna’s managed to do it again: Despite being warned by police, the singer — who named her album after a thinly veiled drug reference — defied a ban and waved fake machine guns and pistols on stage at her show in Scotland on Saturday.
Her performance drew the ire of Mothers Against Guns, who said the 53-year-old singer “should know better.”
“Madonna and her dancers using replica guns was always in bad taste but given what happened in Colorado it is even worse,” a representative for the organization told the Saturday Morning Herald.
The singer’s camp remained defiant. “Madonna would rather cancel her show than censor her art,” a member of her tour staff told HuffPost’s Rob Shuter. “Her entire career, she has fought against people telling her what she can and cannot do. She?s not about to start listening to them now.”

It?s not about censorship ? it?s about showing respect to the victims of one of the worst mass-shootings in American history. Madonna probably didn?t want to take the guns out of her show because there would have been barely any show left. What were they going to do, take away the guns and leave all of the crosses and the ?music?? Still, I?m not crazy about the idea that only NOW, after the Colorado thing, people are like, ?Wow, Madonna is so dumb to have all of these guns in her show.? It was asinine and offensive BEFORE Colorado. Now it?s just… Madonna being Madonna. Looking for whatever controversy she can cling to, fighting the ?good fight? against ?censorship? of her artsy prop guns that bring nothing to the conversation. All for a tour in support of an album that bombed. My point? She should take the prop guns out of her show because the whole ?waving guns around on stage? thing is so lame and stupid, not because of the politics or ?censorship? or anything like that.

From what I?ve heard, Adam was at both the New York and London premieres of The Dark Knight Rises, but they didn?t walk the red carpet together and I don?t even think Adam posed on any of the red carpets solo. Anne?s all, ?Know your place, dude. Ten paces BEHIND ME.? Not surprisingly, in a new interview with Hello Magazine (done before the Colorado massacre), Anne lets everyone know that she?s not really in a rush to get married, and it doesn?t even sound like she and Adam have made any plans thus far:
Anne Hathaway has revealed she has been ‘so busy’ that she hasn’t yet had time to plan her wedding to fiance Adam Shulman. But despite her lack of planning the 29-year-old is already looking to the future – and starting a family with the actor.
‘We?re getting married, probably sometime next yearish,’ she said. ‘Not this year – it?s too big with two films coming out.’
The couple have yet to set a date after becoming engaged late last year after three years of dating.
‘I haven?t started planning yet,’ Anne told Britain’s Hello magazine. ‘I was filming Les Mis when we decided to do it, and there was no way I could think about anything wedding-

Natalie Portman covers the July issue of Madame Figaro, and the cover shot is absolutely robotic looking, isn’t it? She looks like a (really tired) porcelain Natalie doll, which probably just means she’s highly photoshopped, but it also seems like the woman is in dire need of a lengthy nap. Perhaps baby Aleph is still a wee bit fussy and keeping Natalie up at night. Anyway, I’ve been trying to figure out what Natalie is promoting with this magazine cover because she doesn’t have any movies scheduled for release although her IMDb page reveals that she’s got three projects currently filming (including the Thor sequel and an untitled Terrence Malick projct). So I suppose Natalie is just reminding us that she’s still around and hasn’t retired from acting just because she had a baby. That makes sense, I guess. Here are some interview excerpts:
On appreciating her success: “I have always considered myself extremely lucky. I know very well that there are very few elected officials in this business and that many of us, despite their talent and hard work, will not come out of the lot. These are the laws of chance.”
On her youthful appearance: “It’s very strange because my physical traits sometimes make it difficult for others to consider me a woman and at the same time I have been in the business for so long that many think I have already passed the 40 year mark.”
On being an object of beauty: “I obviously do not see myself that way. I prefer ‘about beauty’ or ‘subject of desire.’ One can say that about all women, whatever their life and career.”
On her reputation for being an intellectual: “It is a matter of context. In Hollywood, they consider me a smart woman, but in other circles, I’m probably seen as a silly actress (laughs). In America, they see me as European. In Europe, some see me as maybe a stupid American.”

I’ve always figured that Natalie struggles with having her comments misinterpreted and has attempted to guard against that dreaded evil with such guarded statements. She barely seems candid at all in her responses, but it’s hard to deny that she really is an intelligent person (and Ivy League scholar, blah blah) and perhaps doesn’t always sense her own vague air of pretention. Obviously though, she’s no Goop because, you know, Natalie actually graduated from college. Zing.
As far as this photoshoot goes, the interior shots are much better (and more relaxed looking) than the cover.
