Taking care of a media appearance, Scarlett Johansson stopped by the
"Queen Latifah Show" on Tuesday (April 2).
Discussing her make-up free picture in Vanity Fair's Hollywood Issue, the "Don Jon" actress told the host, "The cameras were really close. You have to be in the moment."
The mom-to-be also joked about her photo's placement in the magazine next to George Clooney saying she feels like when the pages close, their lips are touching.
"I feel like I finally had my moment," the "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" star teased.

?There?s a deep love between us,? he also noted.
In regards about his life as a father, Bloom remarked, ?I lived a very nomadic life, which I enjoy. But now that I have my son it gets a lot more series ? I want to be in his life and have as much input and influence on his life as I can.?

Treating themselves to an evening of sport, Beyonc Knowles and Jay Z attended the Brooklyn Nets vs Houston Rockets basketball game on Tuesday night (April 1).
The ?Single Ladies? songstress sported a blue-and-tan striped dress with a blazer as she and her hubby sat courtside at the Barclays Center to cheer on the home team.
After the exciting game, the officials of the Nets shared an adorable photo of the couple at the game and dished about the Nets making it to the 2014 NBA Playoffs.

Brad Pitt spent many months in England last year filming Fury, a World War II movie with Shia Labeouf, Scott Eastwood and a gaggle of young dudes. The premise of the film sounded sort of interesting, but it also felt like Brad had sort of been there/done that with WWII films. He?s done several in that period of history, like the very memorable Inglorious Basterds. And now he might be returning to the era. Seriously! Why can?t Brad make a Vietnam-era movie?!
Brad Pitt is circling an untitled WWII romantic thriller which Steven Knight has scripted for Graham King?s GK Films. While it?s not a done deal yet and not yet set with a distributor, I?m hearing it?s serious and that a big director will be set with an eye toward starting production early next year.
Pitt produced and co-starred in Best Picture Oscar winner 12 Years A Slave, and he just finished another WWII battlefield film, the David Ayer-directed Fury, which Sony Pictures releases November 14. Pitt also worked the WWII terrain in the Quentin Tarantino-directed Inglourious Basterds. He also starred in and is prepping a sequel to World War Z. He?s repped by CAA and Brillstein.
Knight scripted Eastern Promises, and more recently the British series Peaky Blinders, the Helen Mirren-starrer The Hundred Foot Journey for DreamWorks, and he wrote and directed Locke with Tom Hardy. He?s repped by CAA and United Agents.

Well, the screenwriter has done some interesting projects and I could totally see Brad wanting to work with Knight. Plus, Brad and Angelina have close ties to Graham King and GK Films, so I could also see how he would sign on to do a film with King. I would like to know more about the story, because whenever I hear ?WWII romantic thriller,? my mind goes to Casablanca and The English Patient. While I love both of those films, I?m not sure I want to see Brad Pitt in that kind of ?duty-before-love? or ?making-love-while-the-world-falls-apart? movie. We?ll see! Perhaps Brad just doesn?t want his first post-Oscar film to be a zombie sequel, you know?
PS? You know who does WWII-period films really well and would be a great romantic lead along with Brad? Julianne Moore. Seriously! I bet they would love working with each other.

Keri Russell split from her husband (and father of her two children) last December. There seemed to be something shady happening, but no one would put their finger on it right away. Then, just a few weeks after the divorce announcement, Page Six claimed that Keri?s costar in The Americans, Welsh actor Matthew Rhys, was ?the reason? why Keri?s marriage didn?t work out. It was all gossip, rumor and speculation, but Keri and Matthew played it sort of safe, not outright denying it but playing little word games to tamp down the rumors. Except that People Magazine is now saying they?re definitely together. Matthew Rhys is totally a homewrecker.
They’ve dodged relationship rumors for months. But now ? unlike their spy characters on The Americans ? the secret (love) life of Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys has been revealed.
PEOPLE has learned that Russell, 38, and Rhys, 39, are a couple.
The two stepped out for date night on Thursday, stopping into New York’s The Public Theater, where they watched the Steven Soderbergh-directed play The Library. They sat together and theatergoers spotted Russell stroking Rhys’s hair and the two whispering before they left together.
When asked about his rumored relationship with Russell, Rhys told PEOPLE last month, “That’s the best [rumor] I love.” He stopped short of confirming the relationship, but said his mother even asks about the rumors. “I tell her, ‘You have to take off your Google alerts,’ ” he said.
The couple’s recent theater date wasn’t the first time they were seen getting close. Earlier this year the two took a stroll through Brooklyn Heights. “They were walking super close together and laughing, even stopped to look at some furniture on the street,” an onlooker said of the pair at the time. “They looked very much like a couple.”
The new romance comes after Russell’s announcement last December that she and Shane Deary, her husband of nearly 7 years, were separating. The former couple have a son River, 6, and a daughter Willa, 2. The actress’s rep told PEOPLE at the time, “The separation is amicable and their focus is on their children.”

Well, it might be love. Or is it just boning? My take is that it?s probably love ? Keri is now a single mother who basically left her husband after a torrid affair with a costar. Will Matthew step up to the plate? Perhaps. Rhys is sort of ?famously single? and I suspect, much like Michael Sheen, he wants to stay famously unmarried. But hey, maybe Keri doesn?t want to marry him either. Maybe they?ll just figure it out and everything will be okay. But I just thought you?d like to know ? sometimes married actresses have torrid affairs, just like the dudes.

Kim Kardashian and her family are still in Thailand. That ^^ is a photo Kim posted on her Instagram yesterday. Now? I?m not a p0rn aficionado, but I?ve seen some p0rn in my day, and I know how they usually work. The mid-grade p0rn usually starts out with a few minutes of filler, also known as ?plot? or ?set-up.? Unfortunately, p0rn rarely has a ?meet-cute? unless your idea of a meet-cute is a beefy, well-hung plumber who is okay with getting paid in beejs (he never did fix the toilet though). Well, I was thinking about how p0rns work because Kim posted two really random videos to her IG and they remind me of, like, the first few seconds of another Kim Kardashian p0rn.
Right? If we watched another three minutes of this, the chick in the bikini coming out of the pool was definitely going to get banged on camera. And yes, I know that chick is Kim Kardashian. But if you didn?t know it was Kim, you?d think that someone just posted a few seconds of a higher-quality p0rn. Even the music sounds like a p0rn music!!!!
So, what in the world is going on with Kim in Thailand? Did she film another ?movie? over there? Is this part of a new sexual tourism package?

She?s been working hard at getting back into pre-pregnancy shape, and on Tuesday (April 1) Megan Fox showed up on the set of ?Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? in Los Angeles.
The ?Jennifer?s Body? babe looked fabulous as she filmed a series of re-shoots for the flick along with costar Will Arnett.
On February 12th, Megan gave birth to baby Bodhi, her second son with husband Brian Austin Green, and she?s been keeping out of the public eye for the most part.
Meanwhile, ?Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? is slated to hit theaters on August 8th. Per the synopsis, ?From their home in the storm sewers of Manhattan, four Ninjitsu-trained turtles, Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo and Donatello and their sensei, Master Splinter, battle evil.?

Jennifer Love Hewitt is back! Did you miss her? I can’t say I realized that she was gone. I know that sounds harsh, but she’s one of those celebrities on the periphery. She’s done a decent job of avoiding oversaturation the past couple of years. Hewitt will pop up when she has something to promote, and she’ll get papped occasionally, but she’s not all over the place. So when she stepped away for a bit it didn’t really register for me.
Hewitt had a baby with her husband, Brian Hallisay, in November. I was about to write that she had a baby with her “fiance,” but Hallisay and Hewitt were secretly married ahead of their daughter’s birth. I forgot all about that. It doesn’t seem like her not to release a wedding photo, but she’s definitely been more low key lately. Hewitt told Ellen earlier this week that she got married last year just five days before the baby was born, and that she and Brian were the only ones there. She also gushed about baby Autumn and about her new husband. It was cute.

Hewitt has a new maternity fashion line with A Pea in The Pod. She promoted the line at a red carpet event in LA last night. She got a decent turnout of other pregnant celebrities, including Jenna Fischer, Megan Hilty, and Kendra Wilkinson.
Hewitt also has a new hair color, an ombre blonde. I think the darker pieces in there are extensions, which she’s admitted to using. As far as her new hair, I liked her better as a brunette. I think it suits her more, but I get why she wanted to switch it up for Spring. She looks great as always and you can tell that she’s super happy. She’s talked about wanting a family for so long, so it’s nice to see it finally happen for her.

Perhaps I spoke too soon. Johnny Depp’s been looking really good during his visit to Bejing. This visit coincided with an old-school Johnny photoshoot and interview. I fell for all of it. When Johnny showed up to yesterday’s Transcendence premiere, the spell was broken. He suddenly looks exactly as he has appeared for the past year — a 50-year-old actor striving to look hip and funky in the midst of a mid-life crisis.
I’ll give Johnny this much. He’s always gracious to his fans. The Wall Street Journal covered the Bejing press conference. Some fans endured a 16-hour train ride to see Johnny, and he obliged. He also kissed a little booty by complimenting “the level of art, the eons of culture” in Chinda. He added, “I could live here easily. It’s a warm experience.” Too bad it’s no longer Johnny’s decision where he lives, right?
Johnny also told the audience that he refuses to watch his own movies: “I stopped that a long time ago.” That detail isn’t new, but his refusal to read his own press is rather defiant: “I prefer to remain ignorant.” Do you hear that? Johnny doesn’t hear you making fun of his mangagement ring. Johnny does not care.
I do wonder where Amber Heard is during this tour. She’s probably shooting a movie, but Johnny gave up everything to attend her premiere last month. I guess we know who wears the pants in this relationship. And we also know (thanks to many of you) who wears the mom jeans.

We discussed the film Two Faces of January briefly in February, when Viggo Mortensen turned up to the Berlin Film Festival. Viggo stars with Kristen Dunst and Oscar Isaac in an international thriller set in what looks like the early 1960s. Kiki is promoting that film now, with a cover profile for Harper?s Bazaar UK. The photoshoot is rather lovely, I have to admit. Even though Kiki is on permanent Bump Watch (mostly because of her slouchy posture), not all of the photos are making me think she?s pregnant. As for the interview? well, Kiki has some ideas about gender roles.
Kiki on Viggo Mortensen: ?He?s surprisingly hilarious. The first time I met him, he was very reserved. It was in an elevator. I was like, ‘Hi.’ He was like, ‘Oh, hi.’ I learned later he was very shy. So I was nervous, even a little scared, to work with him. I thought, ?This is going to be intense.? Then I got the whole other side, which I don?t think many people know. He should do comedy, I?ve told him that? I?m sure he wouldn?t be happy with people knowing how fun he is.?
Kiki on fashion: ?I cared more about outfits when I was younger? the older I get, the lazier I get. Have you ever heard of Free City sweats? They?re sweatpants, but very, very comfortable. I can get very comfortable.” This admission prompts another: Dunst also owns a onesie. It has monkeys on it and she has worn it once, on Christmas Eve, when she was given it by her mother?s friend. “I just took silly pictures in it because it looks ridiculous.”
She wants to direct: “I would love it. I love getting immersed in things and being busy all the time. It?s just that I?m not going to write my own script. I don?t think I can, I honestly don?t. It would be easier to find a book to adapt. But, I?m not interested in directing right now. Maybe in three years. Who knows? Maybe I?ll have children then. I probably will ? one day ? want to try it,” concludes Dunst, who is dating the actor Garrett Hedlund.
Being a child actress: “None of [my friends] were actors, really. I actually underplayed myself [at school] because I didn?t want to be a target. The fact that I was an actress made me nervous. I never wanted to be called names or anything. I was afraid of that.”
Gender roles: “I feel like the feminine has been a little undervalued. We all have to get our own jobs and make our own money, but staying at home, nurturing, being the mother, cooking ? it?s a valuable thing my mum created. And sometimes, you need your knight in shining armour. I?m sorry. You need a man to be a man and a woman to be a woman. That?s why relationships work?”
Her BFF Molly: “We?re going to live together in a house, and who gives a **** what we eat, and who cares how many cats we have? Because you know, you have your girlfriends for life.”

If Kirsten had discussed gender roles with one big caveat ? ?this is how I feel, this is what works for me? ? I think people wouldn?t feel like her statement was one big WTF. For the record, for some couples, for some families, those ?traditional? 1950s gender roles work. Sometimes they don?t. Not every woman needs a knight in shining armor to bring home the bacon. Not every woman wants to be barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen. And it?s asinine for Kiki to generalize about ?that?s why relationships work,? as if there aren?t millions of people who don?t have that kind of relationship and they still manage to have functioning families and relationships.

I really don?t understand this Flare cover or pictorial. The cover is straight out of the 1980s and the housewife-themed photoshoot is right out of the 1950s. Also, this is a problem: ?Hey, let?s get the Latina actress to participate in a photoshoot where she ironing and hanging out in the kitchen.? YIKES. Anyway, I usually dislike Eva in interviews (she?s not a warm person, nor is she funny), but I liked some of the quotes from this piece. Maybe she?s changing. You can read some of Flare?s highlights here (plus more photos) and here are some assorted quotes:
She hates skinny jeans: “I’m always in dresses, in skirt?I think they’re so easy. People are always saying, ‘I love jeans, they’re so casual and easy,’ but I think jeans aren’t easy. They’re my worst nightmare.”
Fashion regrets: ?It?s not that I?m against body-conscious clothes: I have worn them on the red carpet or out, but when I?m photographed in them, I always regret it. Shopping = hunting: “When I go shopping, I know what I’m looking for. I have this thing that takes over. Honestly, I don’t find it as fun with friends because I don’t like to talk when I’m on the hunt.”
Loving head-wraps & turbans: ?They?re an easy way for me to feel pulled together, even when I?m not. Some kind of scarf or a mini-turban situation. That finishes a not-so-great outfit and polishes up the look a bit.?

If I was famous, my mom would probably critique my red carpet looks too. Does anyone else remember when People Magazine used to have a semi-regular feature where they would ask a celebrity?s grandmother what she thought about her grandchild?s style & stuff? I used to love that feature. I remember that most grandmothers just want young ladies to wear knee-length skirts and dresses and to show off their dcolletage in a tasteful way. If I was Eva?s mom, I think I would have to tell Eva to cool it with the turbans. Even though the turbans tell the world ?IDGAF,? they still make Eva look positively ancient.

Rihanna has been pretty quiet lately. She’s stayed out of the headlines lately other than her low-key relationship with Drake. Whenever she goes back “on” with Drake, Rihanna immediately halts her attention grabbing antics. She dresses down and claims to become “a square.”
None of that is important right now. Let’s recall the actress vibe that Rihanna was pushing a few years ago when she shot Battleship. Critics trashed the movie, and it did not score enough cash to recoup its production and publicity budgets. A new report from Radar Online says Rihanna still fancies herself an actress. Radar says Rihanna has rejected Tyler Perry’s professional advances because she doesn’t consider him capable of boosting her acting profile. The late Whitney Houston somehow figures into RiRi’s decision. Hmm:
Rihanna is plotting her next movie role but is avoiding director Tyler Perry, who wants the singer to star in one of his romantic comedies, RadarOnline.com has learned.
And a big reason why is that the late Whitney Houston once warned her that Perry?s films were for African-American has-beens! a source told Radar.
“Although Tyler has been courting Rihanna for a year and a half, hoping to build a movie around her, she has rejected the idea,” a source close to the star’s business affairs told RadarOnline.com.
“Rihanna has pointedly avoided meeting with him!”
According to the source, before Houston?s tragic death in 2012, Rihanna, 26, met her at a party and got her take on Perry?s movies, which include the Madea series, Why Did I Get Married? and the recent Single Moms Club.
?Whitney put her off Tyler by warning her bluntly that ‘Tyler?s films are for fading black stars, not rising ones,?? the source said.
“Rihanna so respected Whitney because in addition to being one of the biggest pop stars ever, she starred in hit movies such as The Bodyguard.”
And Rihanna, also a multi-talented star, feels it will be better for her career to do something similar to the 2012 science fiction war film Battleship, for which she received glowing reviews, the source said.
“She’s ruling out doing a Tyler Perry-style romantic comedy because she thinks she works better in action roles, playing the tough girl.”
The source revealed Rihanna is “under a mandate” to get into another studio film before the end of the year.
But sadly for Atlanta-based mogul Perry, 44, it won?t be for him!

I lean towards believing this story simply because Tyler Perry cast Kim Kardashian in one of his recent movies, and everyone (except Anna Wintour) realizes that Kim K. is a joke. Rihanna may not perform any better than any Kardashian in the acting department, but I believe that Rihanna judges Kim like crazy. Rihanna has also shown her own racism on prior occasions.
I am concerned about the “mandate” that Rihanna must satisfy. Is her management telling her to book another studio film this year? Rihanna has already recorded seven albums in the past nine years. She’s scored 53 singles during that time. She is still currently managed by Jay-Z, right? If this story is true, then Jay needs to give this girl a break.

She?s also slapping away this idea that she enjoys the whole red carpet/magazine photoshoot thing ? Emma tells The Guardian that the fashion industry projects a ?dangerously unhealthy? image for young girls and women:
Emma Watson has criticised the “dangerously unhealthy” image projected by the fashion industry and said the pressure to look perfect has taken its toll on her. The actor has also described her doomed attempts to merge into the background as a student at an American university, where she found herself being trailed everywhere by British photographers.
After the recent New York premiere of Noah, she tweeted a photograph of the array of cosmetics ? and a guardian angel pin ? that she said were essential aids to her flawless appearance, and another of herself in a backless dress captioned: “I did NOT wake up like this.”
The actress said she is better at taking criticism these days than she once was. “As a younger woman, that pressure got me down, but I’ve made my peace with it. With airbrushing and digital manipulation, fashion can project an unobtainable image that’s dangerously unhealthy. I’m excited about the ageing process. I’m more interested in women who aren’t perfect. They’re more compelling.”
Watson became famous playing Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter movies and has been constantly in work since. She is about to start filming a thriller, Regression, by Alejandro Amenbar and is also trying to complete her degree at Brown University, Rhode Island. She enrolled in 2009 for what would have been a four year course, but has taken several breaks for film work, and spent a year studying at Oxford.
“After Harry Potter, all that mattered was university,” she said, in an interview with the Sunday Times. “It wasn’t always easy to break down barriers, as having men from the British press following me with cameras didn’t help my mission to integrate.”
The American press, by contrast, “afforded me so much privacy”, but her fellow students recognised her at once. “On the first day, I walked into the canteen and everyone went completely silent and turned around to look at me. I had to say to myself ‘it’s OK, you can do this’. You just have to take a deep breath and gather your courage.”

I have a love-hate relationship with these kinds of quotes from anyone who has actively participated in and profited from the industry which they are now bad-mouthing. On one side, I like that someone so young is thinking about the long-term effects of this sort of Photoshop Culture. On the other hand… Emma has appeared in every magazine under the sun, even guest-editing some publications. She?s also had beauty contracts (for Lancome) and fashion contracts (Burberry). I don?t know ? it just strikes me as wanting her cake and eating it too. She?ll take the $$$ but she?ll complain about how those companies perpetuate unhealthy stereotypes. Then again? I do prefer Emma to some of the other 23-year-olds who act like they know everything about everything.

I was trying to find the first mention of this in our archives, but all I could find was the story about how Gwyneth Paltrow?s London neighbors hate her and think she?s a gauche, tacky American. But I do remember reading ? months ago? ? that Goop?s LA neighbors hate her too. I guess I just never wrote about it. The main complaint from Goop?s LA neighbors is that she and Chris Martin erected a huge black gate on their property which violated many of the community standards and/or zoning laws. The neighbors asked Gwyneth and Chris to take the gate down, but they did not. And now the neighbors are complaining to Radar:
Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin are staying civil post-split, but it?s a different matter entirely when it comes to their neighbors! RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that the angry residents who live close to the couple?s $10 million mansion in Brentwood, Los Angeles, have accused the pair of being the neighbors from hell ? and now, Paltrow and Martin are even facing prosecution!
Paltrow and Martin bought the home in 2012. According to neighbors, Paltrow immediately planted four layers of huge fir trees surrounding the property and installed a huge nine-foot black gate that violated zoning laws in the posh neighborhood. A complaint was filed with the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety. But a year later, they still haven?t torn it down and their livid neighbors are demanding action.
The couple should have replaced it with a smaller gate within 45 days or incurred a $900 fine. A Los Angeles City Council spokesman said that for that particular property the height limitation is 3.5ft ? more than five feet shorter than the one the couple currently has. But this is only the start of the list of complaints by neighbors, who have spent more than a year living next to what one described as a ?building site.?
?There was always work being done at the house,? one neighbor reveals. ?I only got annoyed when the workmen would illegally park in my driveway and they hadn?t even spoken to me about it.?
When faced with such issues, neighbors were forced to go through a middleman instead of approaching the famous duo directly.
?I spoke to a guy called Oliver who seems to deal with all their issues to do with their neighbors, the house and community,? the source says. ?He sorted it. We never got to see Gwyneth; we?d only go through Oliver,? the source explains.
Other neighbors confirmed that Paltrow is barely seen in the neighborhood, despite saying in an interview last year that she was desperate to drag the family to Los Angeles so that their kids Apple and Moses could go swimming and ?pick avocados.? Instead, neighbors say it?s been Martin who?s been overseeing home base for the family.
?We used to see Chris walking the dogs,? neighbor Hilda McGonigle reveals. ?He was a really nice guy. He was the one with the talent; she was the one just writing cook books. To some people, their issues might get on people?s nerves, but I personally didn?t care. I didn?t have much time for her, but I liked him.?
Now that the couple has split, another neighbor says, ?It?s weird timing ? he was building a studio in the back of the house, so it makes no sense he wanted to leave here. He seemed happy. But she wasn?t as popular with the street.?
In fact, some neighbors were even scared to speak about her on the record. One said fearfully, ?I don?t want anything bad to happen to me, so I can?t say anything. Last time I did, then it was difficult, so now I don?t want any problems.?
McGonigle explains, ?It?s a really active community, but we don?t see much of them. When they moved in they had Do Not Trespass signs put up at their school and all over their property. Then they had the big gates put in and four layers of trees. I actually felt bad for them, as there was so much media intrusion when they moved in, I had paparazzi blocking my way into my own drive. It got so bad the police got involved. There was no sense of privacy, but I know it annoyed the neighbor next door.?
Still, she insists that the couple should take down the gate, even as they focus on their divorce. She insists, ?It?s against the zoning laws to do it, as it ruins the sense of community if everyone had those gates.?

Is this just typical sexist BS? It seems like Chris was the one around more and actually talking to the neighbors and Gwyneth was the one with her nose in the air, ignoring the peasantry and so she got blamed for all of the neighbors? complaints when it was really about Chris and Gwyneth BOTH? Now, all that being said? yes, it wouldn?t kill Gwyneth to deign to speak to her peasant neighbors or to work out some of the issues people have with the big, ugly gate.
