The ?Butterfly Effect? babe looked adorable and was all smiles as she and her HGTV fiance made their way out of the Bowery Hotel before hopping into a cab.
And last night, Smart attended the Body Shop Three-Minute Shower Challenge at the Columbia University Eco-Activism event.
At the shindig, the blonde actress told Us magazine that the engagement was "very new and exciting," with an insider adding, "He's an eco-carpenter; Amy drives a hybrid and is the greenest girl I know. They are perfect for each other. Here are two wholesome, kind, sweet Midwestern types. Neither has sold out and gone Hollywood."

The 46-year-old is reportedly deeply concerned over the contents of the memoir and what it might reveal about their marriage and Jesse's extra-marital affairs.
A source close to the situation told press, ?He didn?t warn her about the book at all ? she had no idea he was even considering it until after he?d signed the contract."
The insider added, ?She?s devastated. Sandra?s told Jesse they can no longer be friends ? even for the kids? sake. She decided she has to herself first. She couldn?t deal with him anymore.?

Her brand new reality show made its VH1 debut last week, and Audrina Patridge recently let MTV News in on what?s to come in this Sunday?s episode.
The former ?Hills? gal sat down and explained, "Yes, the second episode! And mind you, every episode is so exciting there's never a dull moment."
?That's what's so amazing. But the second episode ... my parents' 26th wedding anniversary was coming up, so it's gonna be about that and us coming together to throw them a party. And there's a surprise at the end of the episode," she continued.
"It's a person surprise, so somebody surprises me. At the end of the second episode, there is a surprise; somebody shows up randomly," Audrina added with a smile.

The disaster in Japan rocked the world, and the Black Eyed Peas have a special connection with the island nation- they filmed their video for ?Just Can?t Get Enough? just days before the earthquake and subsequent tsunami hit.
Taboo told press, "We're emotionally attached to it because we recorded the video in Japan five days before this whole thing went down, and it's like the type of song that gets to you in your heart."
He continued, "The message is knowing that when you're gone from somebody, especially when you're on tour, you can't get enough of them or you're just thinking about them and you just want to let them know that you're always there for them."
Stacy ?Fergie? Ferguson added, "It was the easiest video I ever shot, because it was us living our lives. I love that it's showing a true perspective of how it can sometimes be lonely on the road away from our loved ones. It also demonstrates the love and connection we have with Japan. Miley Cyrus has expressed a desire to be a flower girl at the forthcoming royal wedding.
She said that a feature about the wedding in a fashion magazine peaked her interest in the upcoming nuptials of Kate Middleton and Prince William, reports The AP.
The 18-year-old admitted that she is looking forward to watching the April 29 wedding on television and is curious to find out what Middleton will wear.
Cyrus said that the British crown jewels were the “most fabulous thing” she’d ever seen when she viewed them on display in London earlier this month.
God–Miley at a royal wedding. I can just imagine it–everything very regal, solemn and refined, and then there’d be Miley, photocrashing every picture with her moon-face, throwing up her ever-present “peace” sign. Since there’s no way in hell that they’d let her be part of the wedding, I can only hope that she tries to crash it and she gets bayoneted by the Royal Guard. Now that’s what I would call an excellent wedding present! A “symbol of goodwill to the people at this joyous occasion”, they could call it.

We?ve been talking about what Fergie allegedly had done to her face for weeks now. Her husband?s explanation was that Fergie had simply changed lipsticks. The tabloids claimed that she had gone under the knife for a $30,000 plastic surgery makeover. As more and more photos appear, I?m more inclined to think that the difference is plastic, and that it likely cost Fergie much more than $30K. Her face looks really, really different (to me).
Anyway, these are new photos of Fergie promoting? shoes?? at Macy?s. Sure. Cool. Look how she?s posing for the photos - it kind of breaks my heart. Did I ever really think Fergie was some great beauty? No, I didn?t, but her 2009 Face was fine. It moved. She could close her mouth and she didn?t look permanently ?surprised?. her 2009 Face didn?t look painful, like this. I feel like Fergie is wincing! I find this set of photos so depressing? Fergie has this great voice, she?s one of the most popular solo acts, and she?s in one of the most popular groups in the world, and she still feels the need to mangle her face and then pose like this on a red carpet to shill shoes. There?s something so sad and desperate about it. I know that sounds really bitchy, and I?m honestly not trying to say ?Haha, it?s so funny that her face is jacked and she?s desperate.? Angelina Jolie has just signed on for a worldwide ad campaign for designer Louis Vuitton. A source says Jolie will be paid close to $10 million for being the face of LV. Shooting Jolie will be famed photographer Annie Leibowitz. Previously, Jolie had endorsement deals with St. John and Shiseido.
This is both a good get for Angelina and LV. LV gets to market itself as a wealthy brand using one of the most famous celebrities out there who has little or no controversy surrounding them and is widely loved and Angelina gets $10 million. Seems like a fair deal. Much better than the one Louis Vuitton made with me which was “leave the building now and we won’t call the cops.” Those guys are tough negotiators.
Side note: Aw, crap. Angelina Jolie has the Madonna arm thing going on. She’s about 1% fat right now.

Lindsay Lohan showed up for her preliminary hearing today wearing a scarf. She’s in court right now to determine the value of the evidence against her. According to TMZ (who’s doing live updates), Lindsay’s felony charges could be brought down to a misdemeanor if the judge thinks the offense is really minor. DUI convictions and stealing a $2,500 necklace is apparently not enough to make her a serious criminal.
Shawn Holley has to do is say the magic words after today’s preliminary hearing testimony — “Your honor, I move that you reduce the felony charge to a misdemeanor under Penal Code 17(B).”
And if the charge is reduced, prison time is off the table and it’s likely the whole thing would be settled as a probation violation.
I’ll just assume this is going to happen because Lindsay always manages to wiggle out of real trouble. She’s like a cat but instead of 9 lives she has an infinite amount. If life were a video game, people would accuse her of using a cheat code.

?Well, I haven?t signed anything but I?m thinking about it. I kind of have to get my head around the concept of it and how I would want to do it. Do it in a right way.?
?It?s hard to think of switching because all the signing I?ve been doing has been coming out of Country Strong or Glee. So I think, how would I do that? Just a record by myself feels a little scary to me. I would like to in theory but we?ll see.?
Additionally, Ellen asked Gwyn about her two kids, Moses and Apple. However, the producers mistakenly put up images of children that weren?t Paltrow?s twice before finally getting the correct picture.

Mike Walker in the National Enquirer gets a lot of insider entertainment scoops. He was the first to report that a Wall St. sequel was in the works, for example. So this story could be true or it could be wishful thinking. Either way, it could work out well for Saturday Night Live. The lovely and talented Tina Fey is supposedly being courted to take over for SNL head Lorne Michaels whenever it is that Michaels retires. They would be incredibly lucky to have her:
NBC bigs are wooing “Rock” star/creator/Bossypants Tina Fey, former “Saturday Night Live” head writer, to take over the whole “SNL” shebang whenever exec producer Lorne Michaels, 66, retires from the show he created in 1975. (Let’s stand up and shout, America, “Yay!”) Said an NBC source: “The execs feel no one’s better qualified to take over the reins than Tina. Having her onboard guarantees the show’s success after Lorne leaves.” Insiders say Tina, who’s pregnant with her second child, loves the idea of helming “SNL” - and because the show takes many breaks throughout the season, it fits her mommy schedule perfectly.

SNL sucks lately. The few times I’ve watched it recently I’ve wondered why the jokes didn’t have proper punchlines and why the skits went on about twice as long as they should have. (There have been some funny bits where they rip on celebrities, but they’re few and far between.) Of course Tina would do a great job at making the show both entertaining and topical again. She won a lot of Emmys for her work on the show and she brought it to new heights in the early 2000s. She may have too many other things going on to consider it, though.
We recently heard Alec Baldwin say that next year would be the last one for 30 Rock, because the contracts were ending. Kaiser thinks Alec was just trying to negotiate for a better contract. She also told me that last night was the 100th episode of 30 Rock and that it was really good. You know, I’d rather see Tina branch off into her other endeavors than come back and save SNL. I feel like that show has run itself into the ground and doesn’t deserve saving. It needs to fade out when Michaels leaves.

These are some new shots of Gwyneth Paltrow at a book signing in Los Angeles yesterday. Because Dame Goop will not deign to autograph copies of her book to any peasant living in what she deems ?the fly-over, peasant states.? Seriously, she only did book signings in Manhattan, New Jersey (eek!) and now LA. This is likely her last stop on the tour. Sources say she stayed for two hours and signed a lot of books. There was a line to meet her and everything. Ah, the peasants coming to worship at the altar of Goop.
The Mail thinks Gwyneth is sending some kind of message with this dress. Something about her marriage and Coldplay?s ?Yellow? - which is actually still one of my favorite Coldplay songs, and I?m not even a big fan of the band. Goop also appears on Ellen today, I think, and there were some just-released quotes from her chat with Ellen. Instead of shutting up about her whole messy cheating/divorce debacle, LeAnn Rimes continues to seek attention by explaining why she’s a husband-stealing tramp. Us Magazine says,
It’s been over two years since Us Weekly first broke news of LeAnn Rimes’ extramarital affair with Eddie Cibrian — eighty-sixing both of their marriages — and the country singer, 28, isn’t afraid to own up to her mistakes.
“I know I didn’t do it the right way,” Rimes says of falling for her Northern Lights costar in “Backstory: LeAnn Rimes,” a new special airing Sunday on the Great American Country channel.
“I didn’t have the tools to know how to do it the right way, how to let go the right way. I’d never been taught that,” she says of cheating on then-husband Dean Sheremet with Cibrian, who was then wed to Brandi Glanville, mother to his two sons. (She and Cibrian, 37, are now engaged; Sheremet is also engaged to girlfriend Sarah Silver.)
“I have the strength [now] but I didn’t at the time? So, it got really messy, but I have learned a lot from that. And I’m not glad it happened, but I know why it did.”
She adds: “[Country music] has such a double standard. You know, Willie Nelson and Johnny Cash and all these guys. God knows what they did back in the day? And if a woman did it, you never were accepted or forgiven. But if it was a guy, it was just their life? It’s quite interesting to have to navigate those waters as a woman in this business.”
God I hate that touchy-feely crap about not having the “tools” to know how to end your marriage. It’s called “taking a backhoe to your husband’s Harley that he loves waaaay more than you”. If your husband isn’t demanding a divorce after you do that, then I don’t know what would.

I was looking through photos of JT from the past few months, and while he?s been shaving his head frequently, you can tell that he?s not really losing his hair at all. His hairline is wonky, yes. It?s not even and when his frizz grows out a little, you can tell that JT really doesn?t know what to do with his natural curls? but he has hair.
A month after his split from Jessica Biel, Justin Timberlake has a new hair-raising dilemma. According to a pal, Justin, 30, is horrified by his thinning mane - which could easily ruin his dating game.
?He?s keeping his hair super-short so no one notices,? the friend tells In Touch. But Justin, who was spotted cozying up to Olivia Wilde recently, isn?t letting go without a fight.

Getting in some sibling bonding time, Lindsay Lohan was spotted at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Los Angeles yesterday (April 21).
Joined by her brother Michael Jr. and sister Ali, the ?Mean Girls? actress looked to be having a great time at the amusement park.
Today, LiLo will head back to court to face charges stemming from her alleged theft of a necklace from a jewelry store.
However, TMZ reports that the judge could very well reduce the felony charge to a misdemeanor under California Penal Code, Section 17 (b) given that Lindsay isn?t a hardened criminal or a danger to others.

Yay! Jane Krakowski had her baby! Jane and her fianc Robert Godley welcomed a son ?last Wednesday? (I?m assuming that means last week). They named him Bennett, which I really, really like. I like the full name, and I like the abbreviation - Ben. So cute! So he?ll be little Ben Godley. But - the funniest part about this birth announcement is that Jane and Robert make hilarious note of little Ben?s hair color. It cracked me up, because it?s just so? Jenna Maroney.
Jane Krakowski is officially a mama! The 30 Rock actress and her fianc Robert Godley welcomed a son named Bennett last Wednesday in NYC, her rep confirms exclusively to Us Weekly. The happy parents tell Us in a statement:
“Jane Krakowski and Robert Godley are thrilled to announce the arrival of their baby boy, Bennett Robert Godley, born Wednesday, April 13, in New York. Bennett, the first child for both Jane and Robert, weighed 7 lbs 12 ounces and is sporting blonde hair just like his mom!”
“Bennett is an amazing, healthy sweet boy and we are both just crazy in love with him,” Krakowski, 42, tells Us.
The Tony winner and clothing designer Godley became engaged in January 2010. Krakowski revealed her pregnancy to Us back in January.
“We waited a little while, I went behind the middle school, got pregnant, and now we’re announcing it to the world,” Krakowski joked at this year’s Golden Globes. 30 Rock’s 100th episode airs Thursday night on NBC.

The rocker family spent the day at the Travel Town Museum, where Bronx got the chance to see real trains and take a ride through the small park.
Despite Ashlee and Pete's differences, the former couple continue to do things as a family for the better good of their son Bronx.
Meanwhile, Miss Simpson is having a bit of trouble selling her abode - as her home has been relisted with an asking price of $3.69 million, down from the original price of $4 million.
Realty reports tell that the Beverly Crest spread was built in 1992, with Ashlee having bought the home in 2007 for $4.5 million.

They're two of the sexiest ladies on the planet, and Bar Refaeli joined Karolina Kurkova at the musical "Priscilla: Queen of the Desert" at the Palace Theatre in New York City on Thursday night (April 21).
The beautiful supermodels headed backstage after a recent performance of the longtime classic while joining stars Will Swenson, Nick Adams, and Tony Sheldon for a round of memento photos.
As for the show, "Priscilla: Queen of the Desert" is a stage musical with a book written by Australian film director/writer Stephan Elliott and Allan Scott - with the musical stage adaptation being taken from Elliott's 1994 motion picture "The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert".
Garnering much success, the West End production of Priscilla received three nominations at the 2010 Laurence Olivier Awards for Best New Musical, Best Actor in a Musical (Tony Sheldon) and Best Costume Design (Tim Chappel and Lizzy Gardiner).

Making for a new addition to the family, Jane Krakowski is the proud parent of a newborn baby!
The ?30 Rock? star and her fiance, Robert Godley, have reportedly welcomed a healthy boy named Bennett Robert Godley.
According to Gossip Cop, the bundle of joy entered the world on Wednesday (April 20) at a NYC hospital.
Making for the couple's first child, baby Bennettt clocked in at 7 lbs., 12 ozs. Jane and Robert are currently engaged though not yet officially married.

Prettying up to promote her ice cream endeavor, Rachel Bilson attended the debut of the original film series inspired by Magnum Ice Cream during the 2011 Tribeca Film Festival in NYC on Thursday night (April 21).
Clad in Chanel Haute Couture, the former "OC" starlet took to the IAC Building as she joined alongside Chanel legend Karl Lagerfeld to debut their finalized short film for the overseas frozen treat making company.
Having shot the piece in Paris not long ago, Rachel told People of the project, ?Everything just feels so special. It feels like a dream."
She added, ?I don?t even know how to describe what it?s like working with such a fashion icon like Karl. He?s just incredible, and I?m just in awe of him.?

Continuing forth with promo duties for her new show, Audrina Patridge was spotted out in New York City this morning (April 21).
Of her new VH1 show ?Audrina,? which made its debut last Sunday, the brunette beauty told MTV News that she?s not surprised at all that her mom was the show?s breakout star.
"She's the life of the party everywhere we go and ever since we were little, everyone that meets my mom, they absolutely fall in love with her. She just has that personality and she's very blunt and says what she means, but it all comes out from a good place and she's so much fun and has the biggest heart. I was excited for her," Audrina explained.
Continuing on about the dynamic of her show, Patridge added, "It's different and similar [to 'The Hills'], and in many ways I feel like it's different because it's really about my life outside of 'The Hills' world. And so this is really up close and personal. My family's in it, my relationship's in it and my business is in it, my endorsements and everything, like, my dreams and goals and trying to achieve that."

After another one of her heart-pumping workout sessions, Nicole Richie was spotted leaving her L.A. gym earlier this week.
The 29-year-old is giving fans a sneak peek into her journey as a rocker wife (of Joel Madden) and mom on the road in an all new video she posted to her website.
Nicole explained, "This Spring the entire Richie-Madden clan hit the road on the Good Charlotte Cardiology Tour. "How was it you may ask? See for yourself, here's a video I put together. Hope you enjoy it."
The clip, titled "Life on the Road," was produced by Richie herself and features behind-the-scenes footage along with some too-adorable moments with children Harlow and Sparrow.

Real women know that there’s nothing sexy about getting pelted by little bitty rocks kicked up by the weedwhacker, or have little gnats sticking to your lipstick while you’re mowing the lawn. Believe me, I know. My husband was drooling over these pictures, so I tried it out myself to get him to pay attention to me, and all I ended up with was a bunch of welts and little gnat corpses in my mouth. SO unrealistic.
