Last night at the Emmys, Sofia Vergara wore a really tight green dress. So tight that her fantastic ass just ripped right through it like the Kool-Aid man through a wall. The only difference was I was the the one shouting, “Oooooh yeah!”

The blonde socialite sported a pretty Pink and white bikini with a pink-flowered sari and a headband of Pink roses as she stayed close to her man.
Earlier today, she tweeted a photo of her in the bikini with the comment, "Fun in the sun! Love Maui!"
According to the former reality star's Twitter account, it seems the mystery man is male model River Viiperi. On Friday, she tweeted, "Just landed on a magical island with @RiverViiperi. Can't wait to go surfing tomorrow!"
Later, she retweeted one of her new love interest's tweets, reading, "Sunset hawaii #beautiful #paradise having the most amazing time with @parishilton #memories."

Here’s a little break from the Emmy coverage to focus on a celebrity who obviously needs help. The last we heard about Amanda Bynes, she had gotten into a scuffle with a paparazzo who refused to delete a photo he had taken of her. She said to him “you have to delete the one of my face, I have to look beautiful.” A little later in the video posted on ETOnline, he accused Amanda of pinching and scratching him in an attempt to grab his camera. She denied doing either and just kind of left the scene. The photographer seemed to be harassing Amanda, and she actually sounded calm in comparison.
Amanda told People Magazine that she was going to move to New York to pursue a career in fashion, and she seems to have done just that. As you probably heard, her car was impounded last week after she was busted driving on a suspended license. On Friday, she was officially charged with two counts of driving on a suspended license. But – her license was supposedly suspended for failing to pay multiple traffic tickets, not in relation to her DUI and several hit and run incidents. I only hope that means that her violations are piling up, not that they’re more minor that we expected and that her hit and runs will be overlooked. This is LA, though, so it’s not like we can expect her to get a full six months in jail for each charge.
Anyway Amanda was spotted in NY, where she supposedly wandered around for “hours.” Maybe she was shopping and hanging out, and at least she’s not driving. Sources tell TMZ and Radar that she’s planning on making the move permanent. Here’s more:

Witnesses who spotted Amanda in NYC tell TMZ … the actress was aimlessly wandering around Midtown for hours on Saturday.
But get this — Amanda is telling friends the reason she jetted off to New York is because she was tired of being followed in L.A. — something she says doesn’t happen in NYC.
Bynes now tells friends she NEVER wants to come back to L.A, which is interesting timing considering her parents JUST moved to CA from TX to be closer to their daughter.
TMZ broke the story … Amanda was slapped with two counts of driving on a suspended license on Friday. She faces up to six months in jail for each offense.

Radar and TMZ differ in how they report Amanda’s family situation. TMZ claims her family moved to LA to be closer to her and somehow help, even though that doesn’t seem to be happening. They say that Amanda refuses to talk to her parents and has been estranged from her family, including a brother and sister, for some time. Her friends are supposedly “furious” that her family is not doing more to help her. Radar agrees that Amanda and her family don’t talk, but reports that Amanda’s parent have lived in California for some time. In Radar’s version they didn’t move there specifically to be there for her. Whatever is going on, Amanda has headed to NY anyway so it’s not like she has any kind of support system to fall back on – that we know of.
In a way I’m glad that she’s no longer going to be hounded by the paparazzi in LA, they seem to be making the situation worse for her. In another it seems like she truly needs some help and that she’s just trying to avoid it. If her family isn’t helping her in LA, I get the sense they’re not going to even bother now that she’s on the east coast. Plus, it’s not like she’s going to accept any kind of help that isn’t forcible.

Heidi Klum is such a gorgeous woman, and she’s a bloody supermodel who hosts a fashion show for crying out loud. As such, I just don’t understand why she cannot dress herself in a flattering manner. This Emmys dress is a prime example. Heidi wore an Alexandre Vauthier couture gown on the red carpet, and it did nothing for her figure. While I hate to sound like Guiliana Rancic, Heidi’s “girls” really needed a bit more support, and the seafoam green color was nauseating. Add the Farrah Fawcett hair on top of that, and Heidi looked like she was trying out for a role in an Olivia Newton John movie. Why does she do this to herself?
Julianne Hough also chose a similar sickly greenish tone with this strapless Georges Hobeika couture gown that featured lots of embellishment, and it reminded me of the mermaid girl from the Chicken of the Sea cans. Julianne’s makeup is very overdone here, and she should have worn her hair in loose waves. No matter though — she’s a cute girl, but she won’t be around for long!
Edie Falco opted for one of those awful Stella McCartney “optical illusion” dresses that are all the rage these past few seasons (even Kate Moss has made the mistake of wearing one). Edie remarked that it was “very comfortable,” so that’s something I guess.
Lucy Liu was my star of the evening in Versace. The dress was entirely made of metal, but Lucy remarked that “because of the way it?s distributed on the body it’s comfortable.” So unlike Edie, Lucy looked great while feeling comfy too. Lucy was also the subject of many Tweeters’ envy with some wondering whether or not she has a Dorian Grey-esque portrait stashed in her attic. She’s utter perfection.

It?s hard not to love Sofia Vergara. She just seems like she?s such a good time, in every way, shape or form. While this Zuhair Murad dress would have been a cut-out disaster on most women, Sofia ended up rocking it and forcing me to love it. What I dislike: the cutouts, the seemingly weird design choice to ?force? her boobs apart, and the way the gown was cut through the butt. What I loved: the color (gorgeous teal), how Sofia?s body looked in the dress, and how you could tell that she felt comfortable in it. I know some of you find her annoying, but I love her. I was kind of sad for her that she brought 19 family members to the Emmys only to watch Julie Bowen win, but I do think Julie and Sofia genuinely enjoy each other, and they?re tight in real life. Julie even went to Mexico for Sofia?s 40th birthday party, you know? They?re tight.
Here?s Padma Lakshmi in orange Monique Lhuillier. Yeah? the design is pretty enough, although I think it?s all pretty ?basic? (as in ?Lhuillier basically dyed one of her basic wedding gowns and gave it to Padma?). The orange is AWFUL. I have similar coloring to Padma and I would never wear this color, I would never even attempt it or think, ?Hey, maybe that will work.? She?s a beautiful woman and she looks like a traffic cone. MOVE THAT Padma Lakshmi, I’M Lindsay Lohan!!!

Zooey Deschanel kind of exhausts me. You know I love New Girl, and I?ve grown to love Zooey as an actress, and I?ve grown to love the ?Jess? character. But I need Zooey is small doses, confined to half-hour sitcoms and such. A little goes a long way. This is Zooey at the Emmys last night, wearing a custom-made Reem Acra gown which? sigh? let?s analyze.
This is a pretty dress, in and of itself. The construction is lovely, it?s very ?fairy princess? and girly, which isn?t my taste but I can appreciate when that kind of thing is done well, and this is done well. But? but? I don?t think it?s a great dress for Zooey. It?s TOO princessy and girly when she?s already got an excess of that in her personality. Plus, it?s too light for her skin, I think. As for the bangs? we?re never going to convince her to give them up. She has to reach that anti-bangs moment herself. I will only say this THIS is NOT red-carpet hair. At all.
And here?s Zooey?s New Girl costar Hannah Simone, wearing silk Emilio Pucci in a shade of yellow. Yellow was EVERYWHERE last night (I?m devoting a whole post to it in a moment), so I shall give Hannah credit for being ?on trend?. That being said, I wouldn?t even like this dress in a different color. I?m pretty sure Halle Berry wore something remarkably similar several years ago at the Oscars, only hers was silver-grey and designed by Versace.

Over the weekend, I noticed a photo set of Zoe Saldana looking like she just rolled out of bed, standing outside of her house, waving at someone not pictured. The caption read, ?Zoe Saldana seen eating some cereal and waving good-bye to Bradley Cooper after he stayed the night at her house in Los Angeles.? Very, very interesting, right? Then came these photos ? ?Superstar couple Bradley Cooper and Zoe Saldana were seen enjoying a night out at the Archlight Dome Theater where they watched ?The Master? on September 22, 2012 in West Hollywood, California.? Even more interesting.
First of all, Bradley Cooper does NOT like to be photographed with his girlfriends. I think it?s one of the reasons why those ?gay rumors? persist ? because he is rarely, if ever, photographed with women, and on the rare occasion that he is photographed with a girlfriend-type, they rarely look hot for each other. Second of all, these photos are interesting because A) the paparazzi knew that Bradley spent the night at Zoe?s house, and then they magically knew that Bradley and Zoe would be leaving a movie? arm-in-arm? And the third thing: most people really thought that Bradley and Zoe had broken up months ago. They ?got together? when they filmed their movie, The Words, last year and then Zoe just spent months hanging out with Bradley?s mom, then no one ever saw them together, and then everyone was like, ?Eh, I guess they broke up??
Did someone say The Words? Did you know that film is still in theaters right now? It?s in a theater near you. I don?t know why the photo agency didn?t just caption these photos like that. ?Bradley Cooper was seen leaving Zoe Saldana?s house after spending the night and The Words is still in theaters right now.?

Last week, several tabloids got a ?scoop? about Modern Family star Eric Stonestreet. Stonestreet plays Cam on Modern Family ? one half of a gay couple raising an adopted daughter. But Eric is straight in real life, and there?s been gossip swirling around him for about a year that he?s got something of a wandering eye. Officially, he had a girlfriend named Katherine Tokarz. Anyway, the gossip last week was that Eric and Katherine had split up several months ago, and that Eric has been acting very much like a single guy. But now The Mail claims that Eric might already have a NEW girlfriend. Charlize Theron?!?!?
She’s spoken of the joy of adopting a baby boy ? and now actress Charlize Theron has a new man in her life too. The Oscar-winning star, 37, is said to have fallen for Eric Stonestreet, who plays gay Cameron Tucker in the hit US comedy series Modern Family.
Eric, 41, who recently split up with his long-term girlfriend Katherine Tokarz, was introduced to Charlize by mutual friends in Los Angeles earlier this year.
?Charlize and Eric get along incredibly well,? says a source close to the actress. ?They started off as friends but things are blossoming between them.?
The insider added: ?Eric is down to earth and funny and Charlize thinks the world of him. It?s early days but they?re very fond of each other.?
Charlize, who adopted a boy called Jackson in May, broke off her engagement to Irish actor Stuart Townsend in 2010. The South African actress brought her African-American baby home at just nine days old, but the adoption process took her two entire years.

Hm. They met ?earlier this year? when Eric had a girlfriend, and then shortly after he announced his breakup, he?s already with Charlize? Sketchy. The whole thing is sketchy on many levels. Let?s track the bulls?t level first: is The Mail just playing ?create a story? with a photo they have of Eric and Charlize together at an event? Just when did Charlize and Eric supposedly get together? Because she?s been in Namibia and Australia filming Mad Max for the past few months. She and Eric probably haven?t even been on the same continent in a while.

Tom Cruise continues to live it up in the London nightlife, and I am seriously wondering what the hell is up with him. Not only is he thumbing his nose at suggestions that he’s not spending enough time with Suri (because phone calls are enough) and moobing it up with “mystery ladies,” but Tom was also spotted at the same nightclub as Tara Reid the other night, which is never a good sign. Not even for a moment would I have ever expected Tom to be boogying down in close proximity with Tara, but I guess he feels the need to feel young and funky these days. Whatever.
Tom was out again on Friday evening for yet another late night, and it’s a wonder that anything is getting done with the movie, All You Need Is Kill, that Tom is supposed to be working on right now. Never mind that he could have hopped on his private jet and visited Suri over the weekend, right? Here’s Tom’s latest “mystery woman” who was part of his dinner party and exited with Tom. While I don’t think they are actually dating (because Tom is a huge fan of PDA with the women that he does become involved with, contractual or otherwise), there’s a statement of some sort being made here. These are new photos of Taylor Swift over the weekend, closing out the iHeartRadio festival in Las Vegas. Swifty heard the word ?heart? and she said, ?I?M THERE!? She even wore a red lace dress for the occasion, like it was Valentine?s Day or something. I just don?t even know with this woman. I guess I should be thankful that Swifty was in Nevada over the weekend instead of in Massachusetts, signing out her high school lover to bang him in a quaint New England bed and breakfast. Speaking of, there was another Kennedy wedding over the weekend, and everyone is billing this as ?Wow, Swifty did NOT wedding-crash this one, how shocking!?
Taylor Swift can?t be blamed for ruining this Kennedy wedding. The singer and her 18-year-old beau, Conor Kennedy, were nowhere to be found as Michael Kennedy Jr., the grandson of Robert F. Kennedy, married Mary Campbell on Saturday in an understated but elegant ceremony before 155 guests on Nantucket.
The bride, bearing a bouquet of calla lilies, wore a backless white gown and no veil. She was flanked by bridesmaids in eggplant-colored dresses carrying hydrangeas, according to an attendee who wished to remain anonymous.
The nondenominational ceremony at a closely guarded $7 million compound began with a bagpipe performance of a traditional Scottish song. It lasted about 10 minutes, the witness said.
Joseph, Max and Rory Kennedy were there, along with Kathie Lee and Frank Gifford. A frail-looking Ethel Kennedy was also in attendance.
But the 4:30 p.m. celebration was as much about who wasn?t there as who was, the source said.
Swift and Conor Kennedy were missing, which came as little surprise. Last month, the duo reportedly ignored a request from the mother of the groom, Victoria Gifford Kennedy, that the country singer not attend her daughter?s Camelot wedding, fearing Swift would show up the bride.

Yes, she behaved like an a?hole (as did Conor Kennedy), but it seemed like the outpouring of Miss Manners-esque RAGE towards Swifty was something she had never really experienced before. My mom and I were on the phone during the Emmys red carpet show, and when Christina Hendricks came up to talk to Ryan Seacrest, all my mom could say was ?BELT.? All I could say was ?Jayne Mansfield.? That?s what it was like. Christina is obviously an embarrassment of riches when it comes to T&A, but this dress? ugh. Christina?s Christian Siriano gown was not the right color, first of all. She?s so pale, and I wish she would get out of the habit of wearing such light colors. They wash her out. As for the design? well, at least she was showing off her small waist, you know? I think her boobs are so big, people forget that she has stuff below the boobs. But the dress was very ?Ginger Jayne Mansfield.? Which is to say ?How can you pay any attention to anything else after seeing that tit buffet?? Sidenote: I was genuinely disappointed that Christina lost Supporting Actress in a Drama.
January Jones in Zac Posen. I hated the dress and I loathed the styling. I might feel differently about the dress if January?s styling had been different, but I can?t unsee this mess. I understand that January?s hair is that color for a film or whatever ? but there?s no excuse for that greasy-looking, unflattering hairstyle, nor for that immature-ish makeup job.
Jessica Pare in Jason Wu ? she was the best dressed of all of the Mad Men women, I thought. That being said, I blame Mad Men?s 17 LOSSES on her and her stupid Megan character.
Elisabeth Moss in Dolce & Gabbana. It was really awful, all of it. I?m sorry, but she can?t pull off this shade of blonde. If she just went up a few shades, it might be better. But this is awful. And I don?t like the dress at all. The material looks dated and the cut of the dress is terrible.

At last night’s Emmy awards we had Hayden Panettiere promoting her much-hyped new musical drama, ABC’s “Nashville.” Hayden wore this odd-looking gold embroidered Marchesa draped in blue tulle. It looked somewhat like a craft project, but the fact that I couldn’t immediately identify it as Marchesa is a step in the right direction for the label. Red Carpet Fashion Awards points out that it’s from a Bollywood-themed collection, which I never would have guessed. If you think of it as a full-coverage type sari it make sense. Otherwise I couldn’t really figure out what was going on with it. Kelly Osbourne said it made Hayden look matronly, but personally I just found the look underwhelming. I actually liked Hayden’s topknot and makeup, just not with that dress.
Hayden’s co-presenter and Nashville co-star, Connie Britton, was a mess from head to toe. This makes me sad because I loved Britton on “American Horror Story” and find her so pretty. She easily had the worst hair and makeup of the night with that odd half-up, half hot rolled style. Her makeup was so heavy-handed it made her look squinty. She wore heavy black eyeliner paired with Pink lips! Plus the dress doesn’t flatter her at all. It was so tight along the bodice and waist and seemed cheap. The deep v-neck made her boobs all squished and fake-looking, especially on camera. She reminded me of Melissa Leo, and that’s not a good thing.
Hayden and Connie presented right after the bit where Jimmy Kimmel asked the home audience to tweet that Tracy Morgan had passed out onstage. I checked twitter and it was getting a lot of play, but the joke seemed to fall flat after that. It was funny in theory.
Ginnifer Goodwin also was a miss in this orange embroidered Monique Lhuillier gown. Fashion blogs loved it, but I found it kind of tacky-looking and overdone. Ginnifer loves to push the fashion envelope. Her makeup was ridiculous too.
Since we’re on a roll with bad fashion, I’ll include Ashley Judd in this purple Carolina Herrera dress. I usually love Hererra, they dressed Renee Zellweger for years, but this dress is so prom-like with the huge bow behind the neck, the dippy belt, and the fishtail. Plus the brooch is overkill. It’s Ashley’s styling and pose-hard that ruin this look though. Check out her poofy Bride of Frankenstein hair and giant drop earrings. Ashley’s husband, racecar driver Dario Franchitti, is super hot, though.
Gretchen Mol of “Boardwalk Empire” was lovely with beautiful hair and makeup and a striking strapless scarlet gown. The dress could have been more fitted, but some flattering shoes would have completed this look. She’s a victim of the scroll down, as our friends at Go Fug Yourself often say. Those shoes are awful! They’re lines of fussy red bows for God’s sake. “Boardwalk Empire” won an Emmy for best directing, along with technical awards like cinematography, art direction and visual effects in a supporting role.
Finally, I’m going to end with the worst dressed of the night, in my opinion, Lena Headey of “Game of Thrones.” (There’s plenty more Emmys fashion coverage to come today of course.) She bugs me so much as Queen Cersei, and I have a similar opinion of her as a person. We received a whole press release e-mail from Lena’s hairdresser on how he created her style. Her hair isn’t bad, it’s just this dress! It’s like 80s lingerie with that skimpy see-through underlay paired with a dotted lace cape thing. You know she thinks she looks great too. Like “Boardwalk Empire,” “Game of Thrones” won some technical Emmys: for sound editing and mixing, visual effects, art direction (they tied with “Boardwalk Empire” in that category), makeup and costumes. This dress is like a bad costume for a fan convention.

Believe it or not, I really liked Nicole Kidman?s dress when I first saw it on the red carpet. But now that I?m looking at it in photos, I?m not so sure. I think some of the magic, some of the detailing of the gown might be lost in photos. The gown was by Antonio Berardi, which is surprising to me because Nicole usually chooses more ?classic designers? for the major red carpets, like Dior or Valentino, etc. It?s nice that she?s mixing it up. As for Nicole?s loss for Hemingway & Gellhorn? I was thrilled that she lost to Julianne Moore (Moore won for Game Change). I had a feeling that was going to happen, and I wonder if Nicole was pissed about it. Nicole and Julianne know each other, they worked together on The Hours, etc. I think Nicole is a professional, and she probably wasn?t too pissed off.
Should we talk about Nicole?s face? Seriously, you guys, it?s WORSE THAN EVER. You know why? Nicole said why during her interview with Ryan Seacrest ? she?ll be in France playing Grace Kelly. A 45-year-old playing the 33-year-old Princess Grace. Buy stock in Botox!
And here?s Lena Dunham in Prada. I don?t watch Girls, which I hope isn?t an anti-woman admission. I just don?t have HBO, and so I don?t really understand why Lena is a big deal. So I?m only judging her on fashion and styling, both of which are not great. I will say that her dress looks a lot prettier when you can see all of it ? when the camera cut her off at the hip, it was awful. I basically think she looks like a little girl who is wearing her first ?big girl? dress and everything just seems uncomfortable. There?s too much lace ? everything seems stiff and bridesmaid-y.
