Dan Harmon indirectly apologized for releasing the Chevy Chase voicemail where Chase called Dan a cocksucker but that doesn’t mean Chase’s feud with Harmon is over just yet.
In a new recording obtained by Celebuzz from 2011, Chase can be heard telling show creator Dan Harmon, “It’s just a f*cking mediocre sitcom! I wantpeopleto laugh and this isn’t funny.” Chase added,”It ain?t funny to me because I?m 67-years-old and I?ve been doing this a long time. I?ve been making a lot of people laugh ? a lot better than this.”
Chase also makes the point that the show should all be about him. Not because he’s anarcissisticactor wanting recapture his glory days but because he knows how to be funny. Emily Blunt told Elle (via The Sun) that to get her to laugh while filming a scene, her co-star Rosemarie DeWitt reminded her about the time Chris (O’Dowd, Pratt?) suggested she shave her bush.
?I remember one scene when the director Lynn Shelton came up to Rosemarie and whispered in her ear: ?Say something that would really embarrass Emily?.
“So Rose told this story that involves my nether regions… Basically, her friend was going out with this boy and he?d said to her, ?I think you need to shave your pubic hair because it?s really pouffey in your underwear,? and so we?re doing this scene and Rosemarie just goes: ?Do you remember when Chris told you to shave your bush??

Madonna’s new CD MDNA set a new crash-and-burn record, dropping nearly 88% in the second week of sales. Radar Online says:
The CD sold 359,000 copies when it debuted at the top of the Billboard charts and has now plummeted to 46,000 copies.
?People are really digging it,? [Madonna' manager Guy Oseary] claimed about MDNA, [but] perhaps he should have read some of the reviews. Said the LA Times: “MDNA more than anything sounds like an album made by someone who?s lost touch with the desires of today?s popular music… the Madonna of today has lost the art of surprise.”

One of the biggest criticisms launched at Jennifer Aniston is that she almost always plays the same character, or the same kind of ?Rachel Green/good girl? in strikingly similar romantic comedies. In most of her films, she always has a California tan, her hair is (almost always) perfectly highlighted, her costumes are always cute and there are always scarves and sleeveless pieces to show off her toned arms. Many of her roles blend together. But perhaps that?s the point? Aniston has her brand – a brand which involves looking cute and playing cute. Would it be nice to see her play a different kind of character? Sure. But I also wonder if she?s capable of it as an actress. So what do you make of this news – Aniston is in talks to play ?the wife? in a comedy with Jason Sudeikis. But not just ?the wife? – Aniston would be playing a hooker-slash-fake-wife. Epic?
Jennifer Aniston and Jason Sudeikis are in talks with New Line to reunite for the studio’s long-gestating comedy We’re the Millers. Rawson Marshall Thurber is attached to direct.
The dysfunctional family road-trip movie originated with Wedding Crashers writers Steve Faber and Bob Fisher but has since seen a rotating mix of writers, directors and actors attached since it was first picked up in 2002. Millers centers on a drug dealer who creates a fake family to help him pull off one last job that entails bringing 1,400 pounds of marijuana from Mexico into the U.S.
Aniston has had an offer in hand for a few weeks, but negotiations have yet to produce a commitment. The greenlight likely is dependent on her deal closing.
Aniston most recently starred in the Universal comedy Wanderlust and the New Line comedy Horrible Bosses, which also featured Sudeikis. The actors, both repped by CAA and Brillstein Entertainment, also appeared together in The Bounty Hunter for Sony.
Sudeikis also co-starred in the New Line comedies Hall Pass and Going the Distance. He stars opposite Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis in The Campaign, which Warner Bros. will release in August.

So from what I gather, Aniston?s character is a hooker who gets hired by Jason?s drug dealer character to pretend to be his wife? Aniston was just a ?pretend wife? in Just Go With It last year! So? it sounds like more of the same with that angle. That being said, I?d like to see Aniston pull off some trashy hooker stuff. Like, I?m already envisioning her costume demands. Do hookers wear scarves and wedges? That?s what Aniston will be asking.

Dressed in a sixties-inspired red dress and sipping a Pepsi NEXT, Paula Patton invited fans to try the new product at its launch held at The Grove in Los Angeles on Monday (April 9).
The brunette-beauty was all smiles as she posed with Pepsi?s new offering that prides itself on using 60-percent less sugar while keeping its ?real cola taste?. The cola-company simply says that you need to ?drink it to believe it.?
Meanwhile, it was just announced that the ?Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol? star was offered a role in the new flick, ?2 Guns? opposite Denzel Washington. He and Mark Wahlberg will lead the film, which will be directed by ?Contraband? director, Baltasar Kormakur.
The film is inspired by Steven Grant?s graphic novel of the same name, which centers around a DEA agent and a Naval Intelligence officer who plan on robbing a bank that is believed to be the front for a mob.
There?s a twist. Neither knows the other is a cop and, once they pull off the crime, it?s discovered that they robbed the CIA not the mob. The plot continues to unwind revealing endless twists and turns.
Miss Patton will play the ?Safe House? star?s girlfriend in the film.

Ever since Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds got together, friendly little Blake-centric pieces have been dropped into tabloids and such, and they began to give me an idea of what Blake and Ryan are like as a couple. And I do believe they are a couple, by the way. I think they?re probably in love. I don?t think this just a PR thing – I?m not even sure that Ryan ever does publicity fauxmances. I think he definitely likes girls – specifically, he likes big-boobed blonde girls. He likes girls who stay at home and cook for him. He thought he had that with Scarlett Johansson, but as it turns out, the whole ?being quiet and staying home? thing was just a phase for ScarJo, and once she was done with that phase, Scarlett was ready for the ?boning Sean Penn? phase of her life. But I think Ryan has found what he?s looking for with Blake. In any case, Blake seems more suited for him, because the impression I keep getting is that they?re both super-WASPy. Things between Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are getting so serious, they spent the holiday weekend together along with Lively?s family. On Saturday night, the couple went to see ?Mary Poppins? on Broadway with several family members and afterward went for late-night treats at Serendipity 3 on the Upper East Side.
We?re told Lively and Reynolds, both wearing hats, held hands while they ordered a round of desserts, and remained largely unnoticed by other diners. Blake went to Canada to visit with Ryan?s family, and Blake?s folks are always in NYC visiting her too. They all get together and do WASP things. Which are a mystery to me, so I can?t describe them. What do WASPs do at this point? Are they still hanging out in country clubs all the time? And then they go yacht-shopping?

Beyonce and Jay-Z have taken little Blue Ivy on her very first vacation! This child?s whole life is going to be a vacation, though. Still, I guess it?s notable because this is the first of many. Bey and Jay brought Blue down to St. Bart?s for the Easter holiday, and the family is still enjoying the sun, sand and the good life. These are some of the few photos we have access of – Bey and Jay were getting pap?d consistently throughout the trip, but we don?t have most of the photos – you can see some of them here. Beyonce in a one-piece swimsuit! She looks? bigger than she did pre-pregnancy, I guess. But I?m still unsure about what to say regarding Beyonce?s tatas. Those really don?t look like nursing boobs to me. Beyonce is really trying to make sure that we believe she had a pillow-less pregnancy though – and her Tumblr did change some minds. Maybe she?s just not breastfeeding??

PS? I love that they get champagne delivered to their blanket on the beach. And I love that Jay-Z?s street cred is not damaged in any way by drinking a cocktail out of a coconut with straw.

I?ve always loved Gabrielle Union. It?s something about her dimples and her ability to be both super-cute and extremely sexy. I would hit that, basically. She?s gorgeous. So whenever anyone mentioned that Gaby might have skeletons, I never really paid any attention. I was hypnotized by her dimple parade, I guess. But Gaby did have a kind of sketchy situation – she met her current boyfriend, Miami Heat baller Dwyane Wade, in 2009 when he was still married, and there MAY have been some overlap. I was looking through Bossip?s archives to see if I could find anything really juicy, but from what I can see, it all happened really fast all at the same time – Wade split from his wife Siohvaughn Funches and started up with Gaby in a matter of a few months. Maybe Wade did leave his wife for Gaby, or maybe not – I don?t know. What I do know is that Funches claims that there was more of an overlap between her marriage and Gaby?s relationship with Wade. And I also know that Gaby has sort of gotten Angelina?d in the press. She now has to spend time during her interviews justifying her relationship with Wade and setting the record straight. So it is with Gaby?s new interview with Jet Magazine:
Gaby says she didn?t want to react to the ?homewrecker? label: “I think people mistook me taking the high road as an admission of guilt. Dwyane and I made a decision very early to not react to the negativity. And I kept feeling like the truth would come out. The problem is, when it did, nobody cared. What I discovered on social media is that people don’t read the entire story.”
She was concerned about Wade?s kids, Zaire, 10, and Zion, 4: “They’re old enough to understand the mean things that strangers can say.?
Funches filed suit against Gaby, claiming Gaby wrecked her home and was ?detrimental? to Zaire and Zion?s wellbeing: ?I fought it. My life is just too easy to track? We were submitting plenty of proof for the times she said I was in Miami. So, it was like, obviously you’re not telling the truth. And then the courts dismissed the case.?
In the end, she got her man: “I did a lot of talking with girlfriends and sorting through my feelings about the madness. This kind of love is a gift. It’s so consistent. There’s no way that I would trade it for people who refuse to simply acknowledge the truth.”
On her relationship with Funches: ?I?ve never had one. I wasn?t involved then-because I wasn?t involved with their marriage?and I don?t have one now.?

Oooh, girl. My radar is up. Now I totally believe there was some overlap. Could it be that Gaby isn?t being ?Angelina?d? as much as she?s being ?LeAnn?d?? And why isn?t this sketchy situation getting more attention in the mainstream press? Is it like the Alicia Keys stuff all over again? The white-centric tabloid media outlets don?t care about the really juicy, scandalous stuff that happens to African-American celebrities?

If you’d told me a year ago that I’d actually enjoy reading what I’ll fondly refer to as “Deep Thoughts by Katherine Heigl,” I’d have repeatedly laughed in your face. It’s true though — Katherine’s opinions on working outside the home as well as her hatred of “Dance Moms” and her admission that marriage is difficult have endeared me towards the presumed ice queen of sorts. Now Katherine has spoken about the difficulty of attempting to bond with her child, Naleigh. Of course, Katherine and husband Josh adopted Naleigh when she was quite nearly a year old, so it wasn’t an instant process:
When Katherine Heigl and husband Josh Kelley adopted 10-month-old Naleigh from Korea in 2009, the new mom expected the mother-daughter bond to be strong and immediate.
Not so, the actress admits in an interview with German weekly newspaper, Bild am Sonntag. “People are always talking about the strong bond between mother and daughter, this magical connection — but we didn’t have that,” Heigl says.
She described the early days with Naleigh as “the hardest time in my life. … I fought incredibly hard for my daughter to accept me as mother. Her rejection almost broke my heart.”
Heigl found the rejection so oppressive that she threw herself into her work which, she admits, “made the already difficult process of getting closer take even longer. … When I realized that, I immediately cut back on work.”
That’s when she left “Grey’s Anatomy.”
The child did bond with Kelley, which made Heigl wonder if she might be the problem. “At first I blamed myself and thought I was a bad mother. It took a while before I could admit to myself that the lack of trust had nothing to do with me,” she says.
Now Heigl and her daughter have a tight bond. So tight that Heigl is unafraid to travel to South Korea with her now 4-year-old daughter. “I’d like to fly to South Korea with the family,” she says, “to show her the country that she comes from.”

Until now, most people assume that Katherine left “Grey’s Anatomy” merely because she thought she was just too good for television. Instead, Katherine had a damn good reason for doing so. Now she can focus on movies, where her schedule is a little bit kinder than a weekly drama and permits for more Naleigh time. Or at least, she could do so until recently before One for the Money crashed at the box office. Time for another career reinvention, methinks.

The last time I wrote about Janet Jackson, it was a little bit less than a year ago. Janet was doing several fashion events in Paris in May and June of last year. I noted at the time that Janet looked like she had gained a little weight – nothing drastic or anything, maybe about 20 pounds, tops. I even said it looked good on her – it made her look younger. Then, last December, Janet signed on to become the newest Nutrisystem spokeswoman. Now, Nutrisystem is – in my opinion – worse than Jenny Craig or Weight Watchers. Nutrisystem is the trashier, more budget weight loss system. I think Janet was slumming with this endorsement. But Janet didn?t think so:
Janet Jackson’s fans have loved her through thick and thin! The 45-year-old singer and Nutrisystem spokeswoman is famous for yo-yo dieting throughout her career.
“[My weight] is something I’ve dealt with all my life, and it’s been an issue for me,” she told Us Weekly. “People can relate to me because I have lived it. I truly understand what it’s like to have a problem with weight loss, losing too much weight or gaining more than you desire to and becoming unhealthy.”
Although Jackson “[doesn't] want to put a number on [how many] pounds I want to lose or have lost” she feels “Good. This is where I want to be.”
“I still have a ways to go, and there’s not a lot that I want to lose,” she explained. “But I’ll know it when I reach it.”
Part of the reason Jackson’s weight has fluctuated? She’s an emotional eater. “When I’m down or really stressed, I eat because that’s my comfort place,” she said. “I’ve had a problem with my body image. So that’s why it’s really really important to get to where you really feel comfortable. You need to look at yourself and say, ‘I like this, I feel good about this. I feel healthy, I feel strong, and this is where I want to be.’”
Jackson admitted the 2009 passing of her brother Michael had been stressful, but can “breathe a little better” now that the trial of his physician Conrad Murray is over. “It’s been a difficult couple of years,” she told Us. “And then I’ve been very, very busy on top of that.”
“I have a little ways to go to get healthy and to feel the best that I KNOW I can feel,” she added. “I know I’m on my way to success.”

When Janet endorses a budget weight loss program, loses a extreme amount of weight, and JACKS the crap out of her face. Are we supposed to think that what happened to her face is the product of weight loss? Because I don?t. Here?s Janet?s new commercial:

Rihanna has been traveling around the world for the past few weeks, all to promote her new film, Battleship. That?s the disaster-alien-ocean movie that looks super-dumb, but it stars Taylor Kitsch, Alexander Skarsgard, RiRi, Brooklyn Decker and the motherload of CGI, so it will probably be a big, dumb hit. Unfortunately, we don?t have any new photos of Rihanna at the various premieres over the past two weeks, but really, we?re not missing much. She and Brooklyn Decker have been getting close, which I enjoy – I like it when Rihanna finds someone she can be girlfriends with, because she just seems like the kind of woman who needs more women in her life. I?ve also enjoyed Rihanna?s international tour because it?s kept her away from Chris Brown. Hopefully, she?ll find some new dong laying around to obsess over and forget all about Breezy. How about Rihanna with her Battleship costar Alexander Skarsgard? Hot, right? I would want to see that. As it turns out, Rihanna would kind of like to see it too:
Rihanna, who has recently been romantically linked with actor Ashton Kutcher and her former boyfriend Chris Brown, was ‘intimidated’ by some of her co-stars on new movie ‘Battleship’ but was particularly fascinated by the hunky actor.
She said: ‘I was completely intimidated by the other actors. But I had a lot of scenes with Taylor Kitsch and he helped me out a lot along the way.?
‘Alexander Skarsgard is so hot. I had to keep my game face. I could stare at him all day long. I was just watching him on set. He’s very focused and he was really sweet.’
Rihanna also admitted she can occasionally come across as ‘aggressive’ but insists she doesn’t deliberately think about her image or the impression she gives people.
She told more! magazine: ‘I don’t set out to look tough; I just think it comes out a lot in the way I dress my body language and the videos I make. I always try and stay true to myself. Sometimes I let too much out of the bag, but I always act how I feel.’Sometimes it can come across as vulnerable and at other times aggressive, but I’m just doing what I feel like.’

I think Alex must be one of those dudes who is even hotter in person. He?s hotter when you hear his voice, see him move, and can really size him up as he?s towering over you like the giant Viking that he is. Yeah? Rihanna wants to get with that. She?s up for Viking dong. And I hope she gets it too. Not to be crass, but Rihanna not only has horrible taste in men (in general), but I picks some real losers when she goes for white men. I’ve written before about how Ashley Judd rubs me the wrong way. We’ve just heard too many stories about how she’s a diva and how she treats people badly. Jason Patric, who worked with her on stage in 2003, even called her “a lazy and arrogant actress.” Well Ashley is back with a role on television in ABC’s “Missing.” She was looking a little puffy during her press duties last month and outlets pointed it out and wondered if she’d had too many fillers. Ashley’s rep responded with a statement that she was getting treatment for a sinus infection. That was in mid March and the press has long since moved on, so case closed. Not so fast. Ashley wants us to have a larger discussion about what this means for our society. At least, I think that’s what she means. You can read her essay here. It’s really long and I’m only excerpting part of it:
As an actor and woman who, at times, avails herself of the media, I am painfully aware of the conversation about women?s bodies, and it frequently migrates to my own body. I know this, even though my personal practice is to ignore what is written about me. I do not, for example, read interviews I do with news outlets. I hold that it is none of my business what people think of me. I arrived at this belief after first, when I began working as an actor 18 years ago, reading everything. I evolved into selecting only the ?good? pieces to read. Over time, I matured into the understanding that good and bad are equally fanciful interpretations. I do not want to give my power, my self-esteem, or my autonomy, to any person, place, or thing outside myself. I thus abstain from all media about myself. The only thing that matters is how I feel about myself, my personal integrity, and my relationship with my Creator. Of course, it?s wonderful to be held in esteem and fond regard by family, friends, and community, but a central part of my spiritual practice is letting go of otheration. And casting one?s lot with the public is dangerous and self-destructive, and I value myself too much to do that.
That women are joining in the ongoing disassembling of my appearance is salient. Patriarchy is not men. Patriarchy is a system in which both women and men participate. It privileges, inter alia, the interests of boys and men over the bodily integrity, autonomy, and dignity of girls and women. It is subtle, insidious, and never more dangerous than when women passionately deny that they themselves are engaging in it. This abnormal obsession with women?s faces and bodies has become so normal that we (I include myself at times?I absolutely fall for it still) have internalized patriarchy almost seamlessly. We are unable at times to identify ourselves as our own denigrating abusers, or as abusing other girls and women.
A case in point is that this conversation was initially promulgated largely by women; a sad and disturbing fact. (That they are professional friends of mine, and know my character and values, is an additional betrayal.)
News outlets with whom I do serious work, such as publishing op-eds about preventing HIV, empowering poor youth worldwide, and conflict mineral mining in Democratic Republic of Congo, all ran this ?story? without checking with my office first for verification, or offering me the dignity of the opportunity to comment. It?s an indictment of them that they would even consider the content printable, and that they, too, without using time-honored journalistic standards, would perpetuate with un-edifying delight such blatantly gendered, ageist, and mean-spirited content.

So she didn’t really deny getting anything done. Reading that made me confused, but I don’t see a denial in there anywhere. It’s all about how other people are at fault for pointing it out, and how the media is focusing on the wrong thing. When someone gets plastic surgery and it’s noticeable people are going to point it out. Plus there’s this thing called The Internet where a lot of people talk smack. Yes it can be annoying, but it exists and it’s human nature. It’s not some horrible conspiracy to keep people down.
I do believe her that she was taking steroids and that she gained a little weight, it’s basically what I wrote at the time. She already addressed this in a statement from her rep back when we were talking about it a month ago. What changed? Did it take her this long to whip out her thesaurus and condemn everyone? She actually talks like this, and it’s just as mind-boggling, if not more so, to her her speak. As she wrote at the beginning, she’s above all this anyway so why bother? Is it because she wants to point out how above it she is and how wrong we are? When it doesn’t personally affect her, does she even care?

Yesterday, we discussed the possibility that LeAnn Rimes would be Single White Female-ing Brandi Glanville once again by writing her memoir. The reports – which seem to have originated with E! – claimed that when LeAnn heard that Brandi had gotten a book deal (to discuss what happened with Eddie, and being homewrecked), LeAnn decided that she too would write a book. So LeAnn called a bunch of people in publishing and tried to get someone interested in HER memoir. LeAnn denied the story yesterday on Twitter though, writing: ?So you all know, I’m blonde & there’s no ‘tell all’ book about divorce, marriage and ‘my side. I just laugh at a of this!? I have plenty of book ideas, but that’s not one of them.? Meaning? what? No one was interested in her memoir? Or that LeAnn is going to start writing her own fictional romance novels at some point? I can just imagine. All of the romances will involve female stalkers and married men.

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian acted like one big happy family with the actor’s boys in tow on Sunday, as the clan celebrated Easter at Venice, Calif., Mediterranean restaurant Gjelina.
Clad in a cream sundress and heels, Rimes “was very doting on Cibrian’s two sons,” an onlooker tells PEOPLE, adding that that she and her hubby “were adorable with one another.”
Cibrian ? dressed in a blue and white gingham button-down shirt ? and his family dined at the trendy eatery for nearly two hours, heading out the back door just before 1 p.m.

I checked out LeAnn?s Twitter, and it?s true – she and Eddie spent Easter with Eddie?s sons. LeAnn was tweeting about it constantly because, you know, she can?t just enjoy a holiday with her young stepsons – how would people know that she was spending time with them?!? Always looking glamorous, reality television star Kim Kardashian was decked out in an eye-popping, bright orange cropped jacket as she was spotted leaving her production office in Los Angeles on Monday (April 9).
Heading to her parked Rolls Royce after bidding farewell to her mother, Kris Jenner, the 31-year-old paired the ensemble with a dark pair of skinny jeans, a flowing white top and black Louboutin pumps.
And now that she?s been getting serious with her new love interest, Kanye West, it was reported today that the rapper will be appearing on the new season of ?Keeping up with the Kardashians?. The news comes after recent comments from Kim suggesting otherwise.

"Kanye is head over heels in love with Kim, and he has told her he would love to appear on the reality show if she wants him to. Kim is a bit leery of having her man appear on camera because of the whole fiasco with her soon-to-be-ex-husband, Kris Humphries, but watch for Kanye to make several appearances on the show towards the end of the season," a source told RadarOnline.

As previously reported by GossipCenter, Beyonce and Jay made their way to the French territory with baby Blue Ivy just after ringing in their fourth wedding anniversary back on Wednesday, April 4th.
The island excursion comes as Miss Knowles is readying for her return to the stage after giving birth earlier this year, as she's lined up to perform three shows at Revel Beach's Ovation Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey over the Memorial Day weekend.

Trying to ward off as much baby weight as possible, expecting actress Reese Witherspoon was spotted walking out to her car after a workout in Brentwood, California on Monday (April 9).
Putting in a good sweat to start off the week, the "Legally Blonde" beauty wore a striped shirt and black spandex while carrying a large blue Givenchy tote that she occasionally used to try and cover up her growing baby bump.
Although Reese still has yet to address the pregnancy rumors, it's getting harder for her to cover up her growing belly as she steps out in outfits that show off a cute pregnancy curve.
The 36-year-old celebrated Easter Sunday with her family by going to a church service in Santa Monica, California - after which she exposed her baby bump in a girly Pink dress and, thanks to the wind, we got a pretty good look at just how far along she is.

Garfield on playing Spider-Man:

"I touched him! I was inappropriate! I literally felt him. Because being in the room with Spider-Man is insane for anybody, especially with that beautiful costume. It was palpable on set that everyone was in the room with the actual Spider-Man. It felt like a mirage."

Having revealed plans to take on the project late last month, Angelina Jolie's latest undertaking of "Maleficent" has now been given a release date.
The tale, which is the re-telling of ?Sleeping Beauty? from the perspective of her evil character Maleficent, will be making its way into theaters on March 14, 2014.
With Robert Stromberg set to direct, filming is expected to get underway a few months from now in June.
Of the gig, Miss Jolie previously told press, "It sounds really crazy to say that there will be something that?s good for young girls in this, because it sounds like you?re saying they should be a villain. [Maleficent] is actually a great person, but she?s not perfect. She?s far from perfect... In general, it?s a very good message to say, ?let?s look at something from the other side.??
?But then also, what our challenge will be ? and the script writer [Linda Woolverton] has already cracked it ? is not to simplify it, not to just reverse the story but tell a bigger story that doesn?t point the finger [at Princess Aurora] either. It doesn?t flip it," she added.
