She?s no stranger to flying all over the world, and yesterday (April 3) Ashley Greene showed up at LAX International Airport to catch an outgoing flight.
The ?Twilight Saga: New Moon? hottie had a smirk on her face as she scurried past some shutterbugs in a denim jacket, white top, and jeans while texting on her mobile phone.
Meanwhile, Ashley experienced a horrible tragedy when a condo fire claimed the life of one of her dogs last month.
However, it seems the blaze was started in her home and her neighbors have been constantly complaining about her disturbing and noisy lifestyle for ages.

Here are some new photos of Gwyneth Paltrow last night at a ?book signing for peasants? at an LA Barnes & Noble. Goop wore a minidress by Isabel Marant which? well, the dress doesn?t suck, but the pattern is giving me a headache. It?s too busy, especially with the belt. Her shoes are Michael Kors. The Mail pointed out that Chris Martin was seen taking their kids to Gwyneth?s book signing at The Grove too. How gauche!
I kept waiting to write this story because I was hoping to include this week?s Goop-letter here, but I?m tired of waiting for it. She hasn?t released it yet, probably because she?s so exhausted from last night?s book signing. Interacting with peasants takes so much out of her.
In my previous Goop story today, I gave you guys the link to the Amazon customer reviews and the growing flame-war, which is absolutely hilarious. The ?official? reviews from book critics and cook-book experts have started coming in too, and there seems to be a growing flame war amongst professionals too. I?ll give you some good links:
The Atlantic Wire: ?It’s All Good seems to take laughable Hollywood neuroticism about eating to the next level.?
HuffPo: ?We?re going to try really, really hard to keep this about the food, as this is a space devoted to that and we are, in fact, talking about a cookbook (even though it is very easy to occasionally think that you are paging through a J Crew catalogue). We knew things were going to get rough when we counted roughly 35 photos of Gwyneth, as compared to the roughly 86 photos of food in the book. For those keeping track, that’s somewhere around one quarter of the photos in this cookbook.?

Cate Blanchett, goddess, covers the May issue of Harper?s Bazaar Australia, and these are some of the lovely photos from the shoot. While the fashion is questionable, Cate always brings her A-game and I can?t even see the clothes because I?m just so enchanted by her face. Bazaar put a large excerpt of the cover interview online, and you can read it here. Cate is mostly talking about fashion and her work in the theater. Some highlights:
Being criticized for her avant-garde style: ?Couture is a cabinet of curiosities. It?s a place of experimentation and I think the red carpet is a great place to display it. I knew people would either hate that [2009 crochet] dress or really love it. People get so worried about what everybody thinks,? she says. ?But I love Romance Was Born because they have a great anarchic freedom. We enjoy their company. They?ve had a couple of shows in the space here [at Sydney Theatre Company?s The Wharf] and they always come to our Christmas parties.?
Cate?s normal attire: An elegant white Armani business shirt (deeply unbuttoned) under a camel-coloured Donna Karan suit. She wears matching camel sneakers without socks. ?This is all a bit old but I love it,? she says.
Cate on art & the theater: ?Theatre is full of influences from other art forms and that?s what makes it extraordinary,? says Blanchett. ?When you go to the opera, you come home talking about the voices. After the ballet, you talk about the dancers. But when you go to the theatre, you end up talking about politics, art, your marriage and your hopes and dreams. Cate?s print ads for Armani will be shot ?soon? and I guess that means they?ll be ready in time for a Fall/Winter campaign? Also: Cate scored the lead in the HBO TV-movie adaptation of Marisa Acocella Marchetto?s memoir, Cancer Vixen. I would imagine La Blanchett will win all of the TV awards for that one.

Here are some new photos of Kim Kardashian yesterday in Sherman Oaks, where she went out for some fro-yo with friends. I?m assuming that this was part of her reality show, because I?m including a photo where it really looks like Kim has stuffed a mic pack into the back of her dress. Either that, or Kim is only functioning these days with batteries. As for the Renaissance Faire dress? on another woman, this wouldn?t look so weird. But because it?s Kim, it just seems bizarre. Also: 140 pounds my ass. She?s gained so much weight in her boobs alone. And it?s painful to see her boobs in this dress ? I?ve been trying to figure out what foundation garments she?s wearing underneath the Ren Faire dress, and I think it?s a strapless bra and maternity Spanx. Why not a regular bra (your girls will thank me, and you won?t be spilling out of anything) and a comfortable pair of drawers? For the love of?!
Meanwhile, there?s some new drama with Kim and Kris Humphries? divorce case. I think the court date is set for May 6th, correct? Well, Kim?s lawyer Laura Wasser asked the court to move the case up to May 3rd because Kim scheduled an appearance for the 6th. Kim did not get the move.
Kim Kardashian is not going to attend the first day of her divorce trial … but it turns out she’s not needed.
Kim has a commitment for an appearance in New York City for her perfume line on May 6, the opening day of her courtroom face-off with Kris Humphries.
Kim’s lawyer filed legal docs asking the judge to move the trial up to May 3 so she could attend, but the judge wouldn’t allow it because of a schedule conflict.
But sources say the solution is simple. Kris has the burden of proving fraud in his annulment request, so he’s first up in calling witnesses, and Kim won’t have to take the stand until day 2 or 3.
Bottom line — she doesn’t have to see Kris’ face as much as she feared.

Radar has the same basic story, only they make it sound like Kim is a horrible person, etc. Apparently, Kim is playing this scheduling conflict like it?s something she totally could NOT get out of and she really, really needs to be in New York. Incidentally, the Met Gala is also on May 6th. And Kanye will definitely in attendance (he?s performing, I believe). So could it be that Kim is going to crash Anna Wintour?s party too?

Kelly Ripa is talking about her marriage again – nooo. I do like Kelly a lot and thought she was a good replacement after Kathie Lee left “Live!” all those years ago. Remember how Kathie Lee and Frank Gifford used to talk about their marriage all the time, and they even made a silly instructional video series about how to stay strong as a couple? Then in 1997, Frank got caught on videotape while nailing a flight attendant. Somehow they weathered that storm together, but it just goes to show that bragging about one’s marriage (in a very extreme way in this case) can often lead to embarrassment.
In her own way, Kelly has done her fair share of talking up her own marriage to Mark Consuelos. While she’s never done what Kathie Lee did and handed out guidelines that everyone should follow, there’s still some of that bubbling under the surface. As in Kelly discussed how she loves to serve Mark breakfast in bed because it makes him (not her) happy, and Mark has admitted that he’d be perfectly happy living in the 1950s because Kelly conforms to that era quite well in their marriage. Now Kelly is upping the ante by openly admitting that she “worships” Mark, but she’s also discussing what they fight about too. She even talked to People about it. Really:
After nearly 17 years of happy marriage to Mark Consuelos, one thing can still really set off Kelly Ripa.
“I am openly hostile when Mark leaves the toilet seat up,” Ripa, 42, told PEOPLE Tuesday at a private dinner in New York to honor her pal, Bravo star Andy Cohen, and his partnership with the retail site Gilt Man. “I don’t think you get past the little pet peeves.”
“Mark never puts the toilet seat back down, and it irritates me,” she continued. “We still fight about it. But it’s OK to fight about things. We’re secure with each other. I don’t feel like if we have an argument, it will be the end of our lives.”
Although the Live! With Kelly and Michael host would prefer her husband, 42, to kick his habit, “I really do worship Mark,” she said. “I love everything about him, even his annoying habits.”
“He is the person I was meant to be with forever, and I think he feels the same way,” Ripa said. “We really do have quite an allegiance to one another. No matter what, we support each other in everything we do.”

Here’s the thing (and I am by no means an expert on marriage, but I don’t think anyone is) — I really feel that differences over “annoying habits” are okay to occasionally fuss over or even just ignore. Fights will happen, and you can’t stop them all. Obviously, larger issues and differences matter much more that little ones like the toilet seat, and everyone has a threshold of bullsh-t that they are willing to tolerate from a spouse. Once you start to really focus on the little stuff though, things will probably fall apart. Like, you can’t micromanage a marriage without breeding resentment.
As for Kelly and Mark, I think they’re fine. She’s happy bringing home millions while still running herself into the ground at home trying to be a perfect 1950s housewife at the same time, and he’s cool with that too. All the same, I don’t understand why anyone would brag about their marriage (like Kelly keeps doing) in a public venue if they’re not trying to prove something to themselves in the process. Facebook friends, I’m looking at you.

Tom Cruise’s international tour of terror to promote Oblivion continues, and we skipped his brief stint in Austria where he rubbed nips with with daredevil Felix Baumgartner. Hopefully, he didn’t pass Felix a copy of Dianetics or invite him to go motorcycle riding through the desert with David Miscavige, but you never know with Tom.
These are photos of Tom in Dublin where he paid a visit to the Guinness Storehouse and poured a pint while pretending to enjoy beer. LOL. Then Tom attended a needless ceremony to celebrate his Irish roots where he was protected by Scientobodyguard on the left in the below photo. I’ve kind of missed this guy — he worked with Katie in NYC for a few years, but after the divorce, he was shuffled back to Tom’s side of the pond. The dude seems like an intense guy who works very hard at his job. Let’s hope he sees the light and breaks free one day.
In more ridiculous news, Tom decided to talk about aliens because Oblivion deals with the aftermath of an alien invasion on Earth. The hilarious thing, of course, is that any association between Tom and aliens leads to a discussion about Xenu and the disembodied souls lurking around volcanoes all those billions of years ago. Yet here’s Tom unironically claiming that he’d love to meet some aliens. Sounds like fun!
Tom Cruise wants to go on a Tour of the Worlds – by taking a trip to space.
The Hollywood star says he would consider spending 130,000 to fly into orbit – and would love to bump into an ALIEN.
Speaking as he promoted new sci-fi film Oblivion, Cruise added: “Who wouldn’t want to do something like that?
“I’m going to let a couple of other people test it out first but it would be great. I was always hoping when I was a kid that we would be travelling to different planets by now.”
The War of the Worlds star, 50, would be following other celebs like Ashton Kutcher who plan to go into space. The Two and a Half Men star has already forked out 130,000 for Virgin Galactic’s upcoming two-hour mission.
And Scientologist Cruise believes it would not be out of this world to think aliens exist. Some of his religious pals hold that an alien called Xenu brought humans to Earth 75 million years ago.
Tom said: “I don?t think you can actually count it out. It might be a little arrogant to think we were the only ones in all the galaxies throughout the universe – but I’ve never met one!”
Cruise was speaking in Moscow at the Russian premiere of Oblivion, in which he plays one of the last men on Earth after an alien battle ravages the planet in 2073.
The 5ft 7in star is well practised for a trip – he once flew a Space Shuttle simulator at Nasa?s space centre in Houston, Texas. Now that?s one giant step for a small man.

I’m tempted to agree with Tom (for once) in that it would be awfully presumptuous of us humans to believe that we’re the only life form in the entire cosmos. Obviously, life must exist elsewhere, but I’m of the opinion that we’d never be able to communicate with otherworldly beings anyway. Obviously, life isn’t really like Star Trek with universal translators, but Tom is still convinced in the back of his sunshiney little mind that one day, he and fellow “big being” Dave will hop into their spaceship of love and greet the aliens with open arms.

I love when Gwyneth?s hair is natural ? like, she just washes it and lets it air dry and you can see that her hair is actually rather thick and she?s got some natural waves. Why doesn?t she rock that natural look more often? It makes her look younger! But Gwyneth insists on her 1990s styling, with flat-ironing and center parts and all of that mess. Also, I?m pretty sure that her outfit probably costs as much as a new car. I?m sure that shirt is $500 and the pants are $2000 and the shoes are $5000 and it?s all specially made by Tom Ford specifically for Goop or something.
Anyway, Gwyneth?s second cookbook was officially released yesterday. It?s All Good is already a success ? it?s a bestseller on Amazon and when Gwyneth offered signed copies on Goop last week, the limited number of copies sold out really quickly. People love what Gwyneth is shilling. Maybe we should just go with it, I guess. Maybe we should just embrace Gwyneth?s aspirational materialism, nonsensical (and often contradictory) dieting advice and her obliviousness to lifestyles not her own. We need to bathe ourselves in the goopiness of life. In case you want to laugh, however, I would suggest reading the growing flame war of Amazon reviewers. It?s getting good!
Meanwhile, Gwyneth has given a new interview about her skincare, which? eh. I don?t think Gwyneth has to-die-for skin and I don?t even think she takes very good care of her skin either. But according to Gwyneth, Her Way Is The Only Way.
Gwyneth Paltrow is obsessive about her skincare regime. The Hollywood actress says her number one beauty rule is to look after her skin with regular exfoliation treatments and chemical peels as well as an intensive moisturising routine.
She told Stylist magazine: ”I’ve always been told I have good skin so I try and look after it as much as possible. I usually deep cleanse and exfoliate my skin four times a week. I get a gentle peel from my facialist that takes away all the dead cells on the surface, and then I focus on moisturisation.”
The 40-year-old blonde also shared her secret for achieving her enviable dewy complexion and said using olive oil helps keep her skin glowing.
Gwyneth said: ”When I’m flying a lot, I have to make extra effort with my skin, even if it’s just using a quick hot cloth wash and applying organic oils. Anything will do – one time, I even applied olive oil.”
The mother-of-two believes exercise is a key factor when it comes to skincare and says the natural high keeps her looking young and relaxed.
She added: ”I work out a lot and that’s helped me to maintain a more youthful face because when you do a lot of cardiovascular exercise, it boosts your blood flow. I believe exercise is an essential part of your beauty regime and it’s also a great stress reliever. It’s very important to battle stress as, in the end, it really shows on your face. A hot bath with Epsom salts at the end of the day helps you to unwind.”

My skin has been looking better since I started working out regularly, so she has a point with that one. But I?ll admit, I kind of zoned out as soon as she mentioned her ?facialist?. You know what Gwyneth has started to remind me of? Eddy from Absolutely Fabulous. Like, she incapable of functioning like a regular person. And I?m Saffy, saying things like, ?Just wash your face with soap and get a good night?s sleep? and Eddy/Goop is all ?SOAP? Did you say SOAP, darling? ‘Soap’?! What are we, peasants? Both In Touch Weekly & Star Magazine put Kim Kardashian?s pregnancy weight gain on their covers. They did this two weeks ago too, from what I remember. It?s like all of last week didn?t happen, where Kim told everyone that she only weighs 140 pounds and she?s only gained 20 pounds so far and all of us were like ?Hahaha YOU LIE? and then Kim said we were bullying her. I guess the tabloids just have their story and they?re sticking to it. So? let?s see where we are? In Touch says that Kim totally ate everything in sight when she was in New York last week:
Pregnant Kim Kardashian has let her raging cravings take over!
In Touch has learned that in recent weeks, the expectant star has indulged in high-calorie, carbohydrate-heavy meals including creamy risotto, chicken and waffles, decadent desserts and more.
On March 17, she was spotted at South City Kitchen in Atlanta scarfing down greasy chicken and waffles, along with smashed bliss potatoes, collard greens, and mac and cheese. Back in Beverly Hills days later, she stopped ? twice in one week ? into one of her favorite Italian restaurants, Il Pastaio, for carb-heavy lunches.
?Kim ate the same dish both times ? creamy mushroom risotto,? a fellow diner tells In Touch. ?She also ate bread with olive oil, and the second time she came in she also shared the arancini [fried rice balls] appetizer.? The risotto alone has a whopping 1,300 calories. ?She hasn?t just gained 20 pounds like she claims,? a pal tells In Touch. ?She?d already gained 45 to 50 when she still had four months to go!”
But it’s more than likely Kim is only eating her feelings. Her beau and father of her baby, Kanye West, 35, has deserted her during the time she needs him most, spending most of his time 6,000 miles away in Paris, far from his pregnant girlfriend. While Kim’s worrying she’ll end up a single mother, she has sweet treats to help her cope.
Thankfully, Kim welcomes her expanding tummy, recognizing the fact that her body is going through a transformation. “At the beginning it was tough for me when your body changes so much, but once you kind of grasp that and embrace it, it’s amazing,? she says.

As for the eating-shaming (I?m struggling to find a term that encompasses what this is)? pregnant women like to eat. Most non-pregnant women like to eat too. It?s kind of gross to sit there and nit-pick everything a woman eats. Speaking of, that?s exactly what Star Magazine did this week too ? apparently when Kim and Kanye were in Atlanta a few weeks ago, Kim ?ate like it was her last meal on earth, wolfing down fried chicken and waffles, buttermilk biscuits, mashed potatoes, mac ‘n cheese, collard greens with bacon and fried green tomatoes with goat cheese.? The nerve! As I?ve said many, many times ? I don?t care that she?s gaining weight or that she?s eating a lot. It doesn?t bug me. What bugs me is that she?s pouring her pregnant body into too-small clothes and she?s lying about her size (she?s always lying about her size, though). Maybe all of this really is a conspiracy to get Kim a weight loss contract. Ugh.

On Monday, the musical 20-year-old announced her upcoming summer concert tour with the boy band Big Time Rush.
The Summer Break 2013 Tour will kick off on June 21 in Los Angeles, and winds its way through the United States before ending in Minneapolis on August 10.

Donning a sleeveless bright yellow blouse and a black-and-white pencil skirt, the "Hawthorne" star put on a big smile as she made her way past waiting photographers.
Earlier in the day, the mother-of-two addressed what she called "persistent" rumors that she and Will Smith have an open marriage.
In an interview with HuffPost Live, she said ?I think people get that idea because Will and I are very relaxed with one another.? She continued with ?I don?t think it?s easy to be married to anyone. I think that you have to go into a relationship knowing ? especially when you?re dedicating to someone for the rest of your life ? this is a life partnership.?

Hard at work on her new project, Emma Roberts showed up on the Malibu set of the FOX pilot ?Delirium? yesterday afternoon (April 2).
The ?Celeste and Jesse Forever? starlet seemed to be enjoying her job as she filmed scenes and chatted with fellow cast and crew members in the gorgeous outdoor setting.
And during the course of the day, Emma took to her Instagram account to give her followers in inside look at her new gig, including a shot of the Malibu beach (?View from my trailer today?) and a bloody pair of jeans (?Wounded?).
In the new show, Miss Roberts plays a 17-year-old girl named Lena who has to get a mandatory surgery before she falls in love with a guy.

Hoping to ensure international box office success, Tom Cruise attended the premiere of "Oblivion" in Dublin, Ireland on Wednesday (April 3).
The "Mission Impossible" star smiled brightly in a dark gray suit, checked shirt, and gray tie as he posed for pics on the red carpet.
While in the city, the 50-year-old actor was recognized for his newly-researched Irish roots by Tanaiste and Foreign Affairs Minister Eamon Gilmore.
At the ceremony, Tom shared, "I'm very proud to be Irish. It's wonderful. A great honor for me and I think for my whole family. I can't wait to bring it back to them and also enlighten them on their history."
