Known for her passion for physical fitness, Jessica Biel stepped out for a morning hike in Los Angeles on Thursday (January 20).
Wearing a bandana and sweats, the 28-year-old actress was barefaced and sporting oversized shades as she strolled alongside a gal pal and their trusty canine companions during the day-beginning excursion.
The outing comes as Miss Biel is once again facing cheating rumors tagged to her longtime beau Justin Timberlake.
According to Life & Style, the "Sexy Back" stud sent text messages claiming to Olivia Munn which stated that his relationship with Biel is over.
Their source alleged, "She had several new text messages from Justin on it. They'd all been sent very recently, the last few weeks of December."
The Life & Style insider added, "She's super flattered but she's not stupid. She's not expecting it to go anywhere ? but she'd love it if it did!"

Sad news. George Clooney has spent a significant amount of time in Sudan over the past few months, and during a stay in early January, he contracted malaria. Sad! Of course, malaria is a treatable condition, and this is George?s second time at the malaria fun-house. I hear they let you drink gin and tonic! That?s about it. Basically, you feel like hot death and you wish someone would shoot you in the face.
George Clooney is known for his practical jokes but a recent bout with a serious illness was no laughing matter.
The actor, 49, contracted Malaria during a trip to Africa recently as part of a push for aggressive diplomacy to avoid another potential genocide in the Sudan region. But, his rep says, he’s subsequently made a full recovery despite new reports to the contrary.
“George is completely over the Malaria he contracted while in the Sudan during the first week in January,” his rep tells PEOPLE. “This illustrates how with proper medication, the most lethal condition in Africa, can be reduced to a bad ten days instead of a death sentence.”
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Web site, “Malaria is a serious and sometimes fatal disease caused by a parasite that commonly infects a certain type of mosquito which feeds on humans.”
The news of his illness broke Thursday via the host of CNN’s Piers Morgan Tonight, who Tweeted that Clooney is still fighting the illness: “It’s his 2nd bout of malaria. Taking medication but feeling rough,” Morgan claimed.
Morgan says Clooney, who taped his interview on Jan. 13, is due to be a guest on his show on Friday and will talk about the condition then.

George Clooney contracted malaria while he was in Sudan during the recent election there, he told Piers Morgan during an interview scheduled to air Friday. Clooney was in Sudan working on a his “Enough” project with Google and the United Nations installing equipment to film the historic election. Clooney was helping set up a semicovert satellite photography project to record the voting and any possible fallout. The “Enough” project’s goal is to end genocide.
“The truth of the matter is we are hoping it is one of many tools to continue to apply pressure, at the very least, to gather evidence that could be used at The Hague later if there are - if there are infringements or rules broken … if anyone crosses across the border north or south,” Clooney told Morgan.
It was during this recent work in Sudan that he contracted malaria.
“I guess the mosquito in Juba looked at me and thought I was the bar,” Clooney quipped.
While discussing the matter in a fairly jovial manner, Clooney said it was the second time he had gotten malaria.
“You don’t think President Bashir has - has detached a detail of sickly, vengeful mosquitoes to target you whenever you arrive?” Morgan joked.
“Yeah,” Clooney responded. “I think so.”
A few minutes later Morgan joked in another tweet abut Clooney’s condition.
“Clooney malaria update: now have 24,563 offers to nurse him. But his rep says medication’s worked and he’s OK. Sorry, ladies,” Morgan tweeted.

Big news for Batman fans — the role of Catwoman and Bane have finally been cast for the final installment of Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy. Yahoo News says:
Warner Bros just announced that Anne Hathaway will play Selina Kyle — who is more commonly known as “Catwoman” — and that Tom Hardy, of Nolan’s “Inception,” will play Bane.
It is definitely worth noting that the Warner Bros. release never says the word “Catwoman.” That could mean that Hathaway will be playing Kyle before she turns into Catwoman, or that the studio is trying to play a little coy with the announcement of an iconic Batman love-interest-cum-villain.
Cum-villain? I’d have thought Lindsay Lohan would be a shoo-in for that. Her agent really dropped the ball on that one!

Britney Spears is giving fans the chance to own the gown she wore in the billboards for her fragrance Radiance – to raise funds for a friend’s sick son.
The Toxic superstar is auctioning off the silver backless dress she donned for the perfume’s promotional posters on ebay.com in a bid to boost donations for the The Matthew Van Daff Special Needs Trust.
The charity was set up to raise money for the treatment of little Matthew, who was born with a brain injury after being starved of oxygen in the final days of pregnancy. The proceeds raised from the sale will help his parents provide round-the-clock care for their son.
On Spears’ Facebook.com page, her assistant writes, “Such a great cause. Brit donated her dress from the Radiance ad to our friend David, who started a trust for his son with a brain injury. He put the dress up for auction & all proceeds will go to his son’s cause.”
Bids had reached over $4,000 as WENN went to press.

These are some new photos of Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green exiting a sushi joint yesterday. As you can see, Megan Fox is still looking very small. Apparently, many people were commenting on her slender frame at the Golden Globes. Not just her body, either - Megan looked especially ?worked on? at the Globes. Her face was all kinds of jacked. It?s funny, the first Transformers movie was on a few days ago, and I watched it for a minute. I caught a scene where Megan and Shia LeBeouf are just talking to each other, and I was stunned for a moment. She has radically altered her face in just a few years. It?s ridiculous, especially considering that she was very pretty to start with.
Anyway, Megan, eating, etc. I think she?s always been really small. Does she starve herself? Eh. I have no idea. But I do think that she?s naturally so petite that when she loses five pounds, you can really tell.
I?m also wondering if we got these paparazzi shots because Megan was reacting to something, some news that maybe hurt her in some way. A few years ago, many would have considered Megan the front-runner in any race to cast Catwoman, a role that just went to Anne Hathaway. That doesn?t mean that Megan would have had a shot in hell, even in a perfect world, even if she hadn?t spent the last three years giving moronic, unprofessional interviews. I think Christopher Nolan would have always wanted to cast an ?actress? rather than a glorified model/music video girl.

New York Times best-selling author (no, really) Hilary Duff is reportedly pregnant with her first baby. And BTW, it’s rude to to make make that jerkoff motion with your hand and type zzzzzzzzz at me. Star Magazine says:
The actress and her NHL hockey star hubby, Mike Comrie, are gearing up to be first-time parents with Hilary about seven weeks pregnant.
?They weren?t actively trying to conceive but agreed that if it happened, it happened,? her close friend tells Star.
How are they feeling about the surprise? ?They?re ecstatic,? the pal adds.
People deal with unexpected pregnancies in different ways. For instance, I approached mine from more of a “two bottles of Jack, a wire hanger and a first-year med student” kind of perspective. But embracing it is good, too. My court-appointed therapist says everyone has to find their own path in this world.

OK! Magazine has an absolutely hilarious story in this week?s print edition. It?s all about how Jessica Simpson is embarrassed by Eric Johnson! Not the other way around - Farty McCorndog isn?t embarrassing Eric, HE is embarrassing HER. Because he?s like K-Fed. Or the ?ballet K-Fed?. Eric needs a catch-phrase too? ?the football K-Fed?. Something like that. Anyway, apparently Jessica is coming to the slow realization (her only kind of realization) that Eric is jobless and that she pays for everything, and that if they get married, it will probably only get worse. What?s especially funny is the story about how Eric got all judgy about Jessica wanting to buy a $4000 Fendi bag. It?s her money, bitch. She can spend it how she wants!
If Eric Johnson is going to marry Jessica Simpson, he?d better learn the importance of an ?It? bag. The couple went shopping in the Fendi store in Aspen over New year?s, and a fellow shopper spotted them looking at several $4,000 bags.
?Her fianc made a comment that he didn?t get what made the bag so expensive - it was just a name - and why did she need it?? the eyewitness says. ?Jess rolled her eyes and gave him a dirty look. She tried to laugh it off in front of the salesperson, but you could tell she was mortified.?
It wasn?t the first time Eric embarrassed her. In fact, Eric got so drunk at one of Aspen?s trendiest restaurants, he literally fell to the street as he stumbled out. And even after that, much to Jessica?s chagrin, Eric went on to drink at another restaurant.
And while the couple seems to be in love, his lack of sophistication, style and funds seems to put up a barrier between them. While Eric was once an NFL football player, his career was plagued with injuries and short-lived. Now he?s jobless and Jessica?s fashion business made almost a billion dollars last year.
Jessica is beginning to grow concerned because she pays for everything in the relationship. A source even says: ?Jessica wants a super huge wedding, so that means it will be up to her to put up the cash.?
But other friends are concerned that Jess may be realizing she?s made a mistake with Eric.
?The thing is, as much as Jess could not wait to get engaged, she hasn?t actually set a date yet, not has she begun to make plans,? says the source. ?It makes you wonder if the wedding will actually come off, or if Jess will get tired of paying the bills and look for a man who is more of a financial equal.?

I have two big reasons why I think this report isn?t the whole truth. First, the story about Eric being drunk off his ass. If that happened (probably), it was likely because he was trying to keep up with Jessica and her extremely high tolerance for liquor. Secondly, Jessica isn?t going to call off the wedding. It seems that in the wake of her engagement and the debut of her new tittays, LeAnn Rimes has decided to ?protect? her generally psychotic and rabid Twitter account. This is unfortunate for bloggers and professional gossips, because LeAnn?s Twitter feed was always good for ?Isn?t this bitch crazy?? post, especially because LeAnn couldn?t fart without sending ten tweets about it. When someone ?protects? their Twitter feed, it means that only the people they want to ?follow? them are allowed to see the tweets. Not only did LeAnn protect her feed, but according to Amy Grindhouse, LeAnn has also been dropping ?followers? right and left.
But that?s not all! According to some of the people who have access to LeAnn?s tweets, LeAnn has apparently been especially insane about Eddie Cibrian?s ex-wife, Brandi Glanville. There?s some stuff in this report that I already knew - LeAnn is cyber-stalking Brandi, LeAnn copies whatever Brandi is doing, LeAnn is Single White Female-ing Brandi, etc. Something new, however: LeAnn?s tour manager Bradley Moore has also been cyber-stalking Brandi, and Bradley seems obsessed with mocking and criticizing Brandi?s every move as well. Natalie Portman is still talking. Bless her heart. Little Miss Privacy is campaigning for an Oscar, and we will hear the gushy clichs about her bump and her glow and how she?s ?fat? and happy from now until the Oscars. After that, hopefully Natalie and her Ballet K-Fed will simmer down. That?s Natalie?s plan - she tells People Magazine: ?I hope I?ll get to lie in bed and eat popcorn and watch TV for the rest of [my pregnancy]. Not always be out in public looking like a whale, but it?s all nice energy that everyone is showing.? Not that Natalie regrets stepping out in her condition and having everyone fawn over her: ?I feel happy and I think when you?re happy you?re always glowing.?
Not only is campaigning for that Oscar, she?s also promoting that horrible-looking romantic comedy No Strings Attached, with Ashton Kutcher. But don?t call it a romantic comedy! You see, in the film, Natalie plays a doctor, not a fashion girl. And there?s no makeover. Thus, this romantic comedy is different! Because if romantic comedy characters like clothes and need a makeover, that ?offends? Natalie?s delicate sensibilities.
Aside from being engaged and pregnant, Natalie Portman is trying something else new this year, by starring in a romantic comedy. Natalie has taken on the challenge of starring in the romantic comedy No Strings Attached with Ashton Kutcher because it finally fit her type of chick-flick.
?I?ve always wanted to do one,? Natalie tells Entertainment Weekly. ?But the girls are always in fashion, and it?s always about their clothes. They always want to get married at the end. There?s some kind of makeover scene. That stuff offends me.?
But No Strings Attached left that ?stuff? out.
?[Screenwriter] Liz Meriwether writes women so specifically and smartly,? the Black Swan star says of the film. ?My character is a woman who?s working, who?s trying to create her own construct for relationships, who?s funny herself ? and isn?t just the girlfriend of a funny guy.?
And Natalie is working on making some romantic comedy-type films of her own through her production company, Handsomecharlie Films.
?Natalie wants to build something that?s different from your usual production company,? Annette Savitch, her producing partner, says. ?We want to do movies that are female driven, from a fresher perspective. So if it?s a comedy, it?s not just about women out to find husbands. I think that?s really lacking today.?
They?re currently working on Best Buds, a ?stoner roadtrip comedy,? and BYO, a ?female Superbad.?

No, Natalie has a point, she honestly does. There is a lot of stuff in these interchangeable rom-coms that I find offensive. And yes, Natalie has every right to point out that all women, and all romantic heroines in film, don?t need to ring and don?t have to give a crap about fashion. But is Natalie the right person to get on her high horse about this? You know what offends me? One of the best actresses of her generation, a Harvard-educated beauty, who says crap like, ?Thank you to Benjamin, who is helping me continue this creation of creating more life. Benjamin choreographed the film, and also you might remember him in the movie as the guy when they ask, ‘Would you sleep with that girl?’ And he’s like, ‘Pffsh, no.’ He’s the best actor. It’s not true: He totally wants to sleep with me!” So much of that offends me. Of course, I?m also offended that Natalie is shilling her rom-com by pretending she?s selling anything other than her engagement and her bump - looks like that is what ALL girls want, isn?t it, Natalie?

Good Housekeeping has put their entire interview with Gwyneth Paltrow, who graces the February cover, online. (Thank you, GH!). We’ve heard some advance quotes from the piece, but this is the first time I’ve had a chance to read the full interview. She was promoting that dud of a movie, Country Strong, and it’s a lot of what we’ve already heard from The Goopster. She talks about how she’s such a great do-it-all mother and how her life philosophy helps her excel in areas of life the rest of us just coast through. The cracks do show in her marriage, though, and for as much as she goes on at length about her kids she’ll only speak reluctantly about her husband, Coldplay singer Chris Martin.
On “mindful” parenting
I’ve learned so much from being a mom about the kind of person I want to be, the kind of woman I want to be. Motherhood has taught me mindfulness. If you just parent on instinct, you’ll screw your kid up for life. You have to be so mindful.
On teaching her kids responsibility

Oh, Chris hates when I talk about him… If I’m looking grumpy in public or if Chris and I leave a restaurant separately, it’s only because we don’t want to encourage photographers.
Marriage is hard. Chris and I have had our ups and downs, big-time. Marriage is way more complicated than just ‘Who gets to control the remote?’ But hopefully we keep heading in the same direction and getting through the obstacles.
I’m a good talker… I definitely have to coax things out of him when we talk. You know, he’s British, so it’s a different lexicon totally. But you have to communicate. Otherwise there’s no relationship.
On how Chris helped her learn guitar
It was so much fun to pick up a new skill. I can be a perfectionist, so I really practiced. And between Chris’s help and the director needing me to be prepared, I was totally ready when the time came.

These comments by Gwyneth about how Chris taught her to play the guitar completely contradict an earlier interview she gave (also after completing filming) about how Chris couldn’t be bothered.

She’s working so hard to convince us that everything is fine, and that her strong work ethic and spiritual ethos enable her to be this know-it-all supermom who powers through daily trials with two kids and a reluctant husband who require her prodding guidance to bring out their best. She’s just like us, only more enlightened. Only it’s clear that her constant editorializing of her life is a kind of coping mechanism for dealing with the same bullshit that most of us have come to terms with. Who is she trying to fool, herself or us?

Kelly Preston was interviewed as part of a segment that aired on The Today Show yesterday. She talked about her newborn son, Benjamin, with her husband John Travolta, and revealed that she had a “silent birth” as is typical for members of the Scientology cult. The first thing that struck me about Kelly was her demeanor. She seemed very affected and phony to me, albeit superficially “nice.” It was clear a few minutes into the interview that she’s a total whackjob.
On what silent birth is
Silent birth is basically just no words as much as possible. If you need to moan, if you need to cry out … of course that’s normal. But, it’s just bringing them in, in as peaceful and gentle a way as possible.
On how L. Ron came up with this silent birth theory
Because L. Ron Hubbard found that the single source of abberation of psychosomatic illnesses, stress, fears, worry, things like that have to do with the reactive mind, and in that part of the mind is different words and commands that can come back to affect you later in your life.
On how silent birth benefited her kids their whole life
My kids have always been amazing. Just very calm, very peaceful, happy and I absolutely know it’s very much because of that.
On how baby Benjamin helped them heal from losing 16 year-old Jett
It’s been wonderfully healing. Of course, you know, we still — it’s still every day. But it’s been, I think, a really nice gift for a lot of people throughout the world. We’ve gotten the most beautiful letters. And the most beautiful notes of happiness

The “silent birth” stuff doesn’t sound that abnormal until she gets to the L. Ron stuff. When I had my son I asked everyone in the room to shut the hell up until the pushing stage because they were bugging me. (This is true, and I was pretty serious about it so they complied.) The thing that Kelly doesn’t address is that her cult also recommends that parents not even talk to a new baby for a full week after it’s born. That’s borderline abusive and is also idiotic considering that babies are used to hearing their parents voices from when they’re in the womb. L. Ron pulled this stuff out of his ass and Kelly talks about him as if he’s God. (That’s at 3:30 in the video above.)
I believe that Kelly really had that baby, and I’m guessing that she may have used an egg donor due to her age. I don’t really care much for Kelly or John, but I wish them the best with their new baby, especially after all they went through with the loss of their son, Jett. Kelly is clearly brainwashed, though, and the way she goes on about L. Ron, the reactive mind, and her kids being more peaceful due to their birth experience (as if that imprints on them more than anything else in their lives) is pretty disturbing. This is absolutely a woman who could easily be in denial about her husband’s sexual preference.

Bringing an end to another long day of promotions, Kim Kardashian paid a visit to MTV Studios in New York City on Wednesday evening (January 19).
Decked out in her third outfit of the day, the E! reality star was escorted inside for an interview alongside sister Kourtney as the duo promote their new spinoff show "Kourtney & Kim Take New York".
Aside from plugging their series - which kicks off on Sunday, January 23 - Kim told that her decision to hit the studio with The Dream to record a one-off track called "Turn It Up" was influenced by "All Of the Lights" hitmaker Kanye West.
She dished, "OK, I'm not a singer, this isn't what I do. I have too much other stuff going on. Is this really something safe for me to do? And Kanye was actually one of the people who really talked me into doing it and telling me, like, 'Hey, look, what do you guys do for fun? You guys go shopping, you go to the movies. Kind of step into our world for a second and have fun, and we go to the studio."
Further explaining that the advice came when Kanye popped in to visit her at her new Dash store, Miss Kardashian said, "Kanye came to see the store and check out what we were doing in New York City. He's someone we look up to and just think as like, in the fashion world ... someone that we've always just taken advice from."
"He wanted to come check out the store, and while at the store, I was really uncertain about the music thing," Kim added. "I'm just doing it for fun, and The-Dream wrote and produced the song, and Ciara talked me into doing it and said I should meet with him."
