Getting a break from parental duties, John Travolta and Kelly Preston turned up at the 2011 G'Day USA Black Tie Gala in Hollywood, California on Saturday night (January 22).
Held at Hollywood Palladium, the couple was all smiles as thet posed for pictures at the annual event while joining fellow attendees including John Easterling, Olivia Newton John and Abbie Cornish.
Talking with press on hand, Miss Preston said that their newborn baby Benjamin was safe and sound at home with big sister Ella Blue and a babysitter.
Kelly dished, "I called home three times in the last hour and he?s doing well. He's perfect! He's fine."
Chiming in, Travolta told, "Ella loves Benjamin. She just can't stop loving him."
Preston also said that Benjamin is "identical" to his actor father, telling, "Maybe there's me somewhere in there, but he looks so much like his daddy."

Taking her hit animated flick overseas, Mandy Moore prettied up the UK film premiere of "Tangled" in London, England on Sunday (January 23).
Joined by directors Byron Howard and Nathan Greno - as well as a few adorably dressed little princesses - the "A Walk to Remember" actress happily posed for pictures and greeted fans as she boosts interest ahead of the movie's January 28th UK release date.
Having already cleaned up at the box office in the States, Miss Moore recently spoke with Cover Media about the challenges of filming by recording into a microphone rather that interacting with other people.
The 26-year-old dished, ?You do feel slightly crazy at the end of the day like you?ve been talking to yourself for a couple of hours. But it?s such a blast, to use your imagination like that.?
Mandy added, ?But I was lucky to work with the directors [Nathan Greno and Byron Howard] closely, they were fantastic and so thorough at explaining everything to me and Nathan would read with me most of the time."

Garnering the top spot at the box office, "No Strings Attached" was the big winner over the weekend of January 21-23, 2011.
The Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher starring romantic comedy beat out the rest of the pack on opening weekend by pulling in $20.3 million.
Coming in second was the Seth Rogen/Cameron Diaz movie "The Green Hornet 3D," which brought in $18.1 million in its second week of release.
Rounding out the top five were "The Dilemma" ($9.9 million), "The King's Speech" ($9.1 million) and "True Grit" ($7.9 million).

Remember way back when Jennifer Lopez was the biggest star in the world? She was as big as Beyonce is now, except with Ben Affleck instead of Jay-Z. Now, J. Lo can’t buy a hit. Her latest endeavor, American Idol, debuted to lower ratings than hoped (although the show still topped of the night), and her new single “On the Floor” is getting poor reviews. Money problems are causing her and her husband, Marc Anthony, to drift apart, according to In Touch Weekly.
This was supposed to be one of the happiest times of Jennifer Lopez’s life. After suffering several career setbacks in recent years, she’s poised for a massive comeback as a new judge on American Idol. But as her good fortune increases at work, trouble is brewing at home.
Tension has been building between Jennifer and her husband, Marc Anthony, for a while. “They kept it bottled up while she was trying for the job on Idol, but now it’s all coming out,” an insider close to the pair tells In Touch. “Marc, especially, is cracking.”
At war over everything from money problems to Marc’s inability to stay in one place, the insider fears the once-close couple may be at the end of their rope. As In Touch has reported, Marc made the move to LA — a city he dislikes — to support his wife, but a friend admits he gets restless quickly. Now spending less time with their twins, Max and Emme, 2, Marc is so “money hungry,” the insider says, that he is heading on tour in February, just as Idol begins. And in their case, absence doesn’t make the heart grow fonder. Marc, 42, doesn’t communicate well with Jennifer, 41, on the phone, the insider shares: “He either yells at her or doesn’t take her calls. From what I can see, they just aren’t getting along.”
Marc’s recent troubles with the IRS have deepened the rift. Reports surfaced in December that he owed millions in unpaid taxes. Although a rep says he quickly came to an agreement with the IRS, the debacle surprised and angered Jennifer.
Marc’s response? He added more tour dates to his schedule, says the insider, essentially pushing his wife even further away. And the prolonged distance could be a recipe for disaster. “On tour, he’s always drinking and flirting with lots of women,” adds the insider — a situation that a strong, independent woman like J. Lo certainly wouldn’t tolerate for long.

Jennifer and Marc are trying to put on a strong front, like at the Golden Globe awards, but a witness told In Touch that the two barely spoke at the Globe after-parties.
It’s interesting that Jennifer and Marc are fighting over money, despite rolling in dough. I guess money problems are a universal issue in all relationships, whether you make minimum wage or millions.
I think the bad karma of Jennifer’s diva antics when she was on top are coming back to haunt her on her way down. But for the sake of MY karma, I hope she and Marc are able to work things out for their children. Namaste.

The low-key couple has been spotted mostly in Canada, but we did get some great photos of Michael dropping Rachel off at the airport, including a cute airport makeout session. So? about five months. That?s how long they?ve been dating, by most accounts. Is it too soon to start with the engagement rumors?

I agree that there is something about this coupling that gives me the warm-fuzzies (and I?m not that kind of person at all)? they just seem to fit together. I enjoy the idea of them together. So it wouldn?t surprise me if they were already talking about getting more serious, although Rachel doesn?t strike me as the crazy, lovesick type. She seems like a planner, a list-maker, not the kind of girl who would run off with a dude she?s been dating for five months. But maybe they just ?know?. Stranger things have happened!

Stepping out for a weekend retail romp, Lindsay Lohan was busy making her way around Malibu, California on Saturday afternoon (January 22).
Clad in a low-cut black top with tattered jean shorts and black boots, the "Georgia Rule" actress and a few friends hit up a few stores including the celeb-popular Kitson boutique.
The sighting comes just as TMZ is reporting that LiLo thinks that ex Betty Ford employee Dawn Holland is lying to press in an attempt to extort money.
The comments come after Holland has hired a new lawyer - which Lohan believes is an "obvious" sign that she's looking to get a quick payday.

Back home after a short getaway, Emma Stone was spotted arriving into LAX Airport in Los Angeles on Saturday evening (January 22).
The "Easy A" actress looked as cute as can be as she trekked through the terminal while stopping to sign a few autographs before loading into an awaiting ride.
On the career front, Miss Stone has currently been busy shooting "Spider-Man 4" alongside co-star Andrew Garfield.
Recently complimenting Emma, Andrew told People magazine: ?She?s just an incredible actress, and she?s one of the most spirited people I?ve ever met and just incredible fun to be around generally."
The "Social Network" star added: "On top of which, she?s beautiful and talented and kind of impossible to dream up.?

Getting quite the warm welcome upon arrival, Shakira was the belle of the ball at the 12th annual NRJ Music Awards in Cannes, France on Saturday evening (January 22).
Working her way into the Palais des Festivals et des Congres venue, the Colombian cutie donned a darling black frock as she greeted fans before heading inside for the posh ceremony.
Making for quite the action-packed night, Shakira was among the star performers as she treated attendees to renditions of "Loca" and "Waka Waka".
Also ending up one of the big winners at the NRJ Awards, the 33-year-old took home trophies for International Female Artist of the Year and International Song of the Year for her World Cup hit "Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)".

Making for quite the adorable duo, Mason was all smiles while his mommy pushed him back and fourth on the swing set before hitting the sandbox to close out the playdate.
The outing comes just one day before Kourtney's new show "Kourtney & Kim Take New York" is set to make its debut on E!.
Airing at 10/9c, the tagline for the reality spinoff series reads: "You saw the girls take Miami, but wait'll you see what they do to the Big Apple. New York, you have been warned!"
